Just arrived. Im opening the double tangie banana as i write this. More reviews to follow. Seems to be faster in terms of canada post for me to order from Alberta versus Quebec or even Ontario. Kootenay always packs the heat regardless. Just a special mention due to the posts I've read about mail disruption. Edit: ordered Tuesday midday. Came Thursday around noon. I live in Ontario.

# Jet Fuel Gelato - Kootenay Craft - May # **(20/20)Packaging:** Came in a small little plastic container perfect to fit a Quarter. It had a cool gold hand written label on the top identifying which strain as well as a white label with all the information about the bud on the side. In the pack also came a nice sized Boveda that I carried over onto other things after these containers were done. ​ **(20/20) Smell:** This is one of the strongest lemon smells that I have ever encountered in a flower. I even personally grew LEMONADE the strain last year and it smelt like lemonade but not like Jet Fuel Gelato. The smell is a pungent pure lemon smell followed by a strong diesel undertone the smells combined are a match made in heaven. ​ **(17/20) Appearance/Texture:** Jet Fuel Gelato has nice orange hairs followed by a bright green color palette with dark emerald leaves splattered in random spots. The bud was super sticky and greasy and after moving just 1 nug for the review video shoot my hands had a grease line where the bud came into contact with my skin. The stickiness transferred to my fingers almost instantly when I was breaking the bud apart to put it into my buster. The ash on this smoke was super clean and white. Without a phone flash you could tell that this flower was burning properly. ​ **(20/20) Taste:** The taste from this smoke started off instantly with a blast of lemons then followed by the thick diesel smoke. This flower carried an amazing smell and with each nug giving off such strong odors you almost instantly new this flower was going to give a crazy flavor ​ **(17/20)Potency:** This crazy looking flower sat at about 24% THC and with a 60% Sativa to 40% Indica ratio. This flower really stood out to me more like a indica, it started with making the eyes and mind lazy then moving to the body. Shortly after that the sativa effects would kick in and you would be slightly more alert but you could not move, it was kinda like shitty local anesthesia. Music and video games seemed to have a lot more meaning and fulfillment to them, this bud just made anything lazy seem fun. Overall I found this smoke to be good for the evening even though it said it was a Sativa Dominant Hybrid. ​ **TOTAL RATING: 94/100** ​ **Final Thoughts:** This flower had one of the strongest lemon smells I have ever smelt, with a pretty standard looking AAAA+ bud style. Dense, sticky and potent. This Jet Fuel Gelato was an awesome smoke to be lazy with. Hoooboy, just saw your post - nice pack! Kinda kicking myself for not getting that Tangie. Haven't tried any of the BLB yet but def had the least bag appeal of the lot I got. Still looks great though ;)

Purple Pug’s Breath - Kootenay Craft - Mid May

In receiving the Purple Pug’s Breath from KC, I am very, very happy to finally get to see what all this hype is for the strain. With a label of 90% Indica and 10% sativa, I can definitely attest that it’s accurate. With just two 0.1g vape bowls in my Enano, I was smacked by a strong Indica body stone, with the droopy eye feeling that is very rare for me to get. I have a higher tolerance and having felt this almost immediately, I can say that I’m really impressed. I’ve had Pug’s Breath a few times before and this is by far the best. The taste is very grape/skunky tasting, but with a very unique taste that I can’t quite figure out (must be the breath genetics). Having been dealing with some back pain lately, this strain killed my pain a lot.

Watermelon - Kootenay Craft - Mid May

This Watermelon batch from KC strain definitely matches up to watermelon strains that I had in the past, but just all around higher quality. The buds are frosted and the bag appeal is really nice. My 7g came in 4 larger buds. The taste of this strain is fruity but I also pick up a bit of a spicy/earthy undertone. The watermelon has a label of 80% Indica and 20% sativa, but it feels closer to 50-60% Indica and 40-50% sativa as it’s feels very balanced between the heady euphoria and body buzz, but not too strong. I noticed less vapour output from this strain then the other KC strains I have, but the effects are still good. Overall I’d rate this a 7/10.

Orange Aid - Kootenay Craft - Mid May

I’m reviewing the Orange Aid by Kootenay Craft cannabis, and if you’re reading this and at all remotely interested in euphoric sativas, this is it! Wow! The smell out of the jar reminded me right away of a tangerine strain, but the taste was super orange and very candied. Through vaporizers, the taste was honestly like an orange pixie stick. The high was a super happy, euphoric sativa buzz. The label indicates that this batch has a 75% Sativa to 25% Indica level, but to me it feels more like 90% sativa. The buds were small to small medium and that is a little bit of a gripe, but not too big of a deal. This was an easy 9/10 for me.

Double Tangie Banana - Kootenay Craft - Mid May

Absolutely love this double tangie banana from KC! The buds are gorgeous and covered in trichomes, and I absolutely loved the fruit loops like smell and taste that this strain gave. The high matches up with the 60% Sativa and 40% Indica label it has, as it comes on in your head right away and then spreads out in to a very comfortable body buzz. This strain reminds me of an almost Gorilla Glue #4 buzz, but with a little more of a sativa punch. A solid 8.5/10 all around for me.
