Sweet taste at first followed by a nutty/woody taste and a surprising citrus aroma on the exhale. Hybrid by the name but certainly a pheno that is more a body high one including face melting feeling and some weight behing the eyes. Pretty smooth smoke from a vape and Medium-Strong to Strong potency. Nice deal for the overall quality...

Bright green background with a reasonable amount of thin dusky orange pistils. In natural light the dense tapered, and sticky buds appear whitewashed due to the thick layer of trichomes. Burned well with smooth and flavorful tokes that were exclusively citrus. Nice to have a strain clearly deliver on a promised flavor profile. Sativa dominant high felt at the top of the head with strong comforting vibes that slowly progressed down to the body with strong relaxing sensations. Something that I could see myself using in several situations depending on the amount I smoked. Overall this is just a well balance hybrid.

However, the mossy green backgrounds, copious chunky trichomes and  healthy dose of orange pistils helped elevate the visuals.  Smell was pungent gas with faint earth and pine. The familiar gassy notes picked up in the smell were even more clear and impressive in the smoke. Found the taste immensely satisfying as it reminded me of the first strains I smoked when I was younger. The smoke was incredibly smooth with a slow and even burning joint; ending with a light grey ash. The buzz was potent with an obvious Indica leaning high. The buzz crept up slowly with a gradually stronger relaxing sensations; which coaxed me to inch closer and closer to the couch. Easily a evening strain in my opinion, so expect to feel some level of burnout after smoking.

Mataro Blue - MMJ EXPRESS - March 2020

Quality 9 Value 9.5 This has nice caked pinkish purple nugs that are not too dense. The terps are gassy and herbal with berrys mixed in the background. Smooth with a grey/ white ash. Nice euphoric and uplifting high that makes you feel like you are almost floating a bit. Not too sedating or too high on the indica scale, a great midday smoke.

The appearance however was impressive with dense patches of chunky trichomes blanketing the exterior. The light green backgrounds and small patches of dark purple helped to highlight the short bright orange pistils peeking through.  Great trim with a small amount of sugar leaves, which were also heavily coated with resin. Taste was mainly  pine with less notable peppery flavors. Big smooth smoke that burned well ending in a salt and pepper ash. Well balanced hybrid hit me with intermittent episodes of euphoria while simultaneously making you want to lay horizontal. Great bud to sit back and relax.

Full Photo Album----->http://imgur.com/a/VJnyJD1 Everyone has heard of and likely tried Northern lights, I myself can’t count the times I’ve smoked this strain. The smell was quite muted but pine and citrus notes were very noticeable while squishing or breaking down the bud. The visuals made up for the smell though. Deep dark purples and greens were elevated by bright green backgrounds. The bud may have been roughed up a bit in transit or harvesting as there were few visible trichome heads on the exterior. Trichomes were however plentiful as you looked inside the cracks and crevices of the bud. Smoke was generally smooth with a slight dryness felt to the back of the throat. Joint burned well and ended with a light grey salt and pepper ash. Taste was dominantly earthy on inhale with some added pine on exhale. Potency was reasonable with an Indica dominant buzz making it hard to focus with little ambition to do anything but relax.

One of my favourites. Aesthetically, the nugs are a dark green / purple colour and are dense af. Effect wise it's a nice couchlock indica. Herbal nose and taste.
