Really dank, classic blueberry smell. Came in the mix n Match oz so buds are medium-small but NBD. Came squished as you can see; every Q is stuffed into a bag that most MOMs would ship 1-3.5g in. That’s my only knock on topshelfBC. it came in a box with no odor, which was nice. Smooth smoke with no harshness. Taste is faint but distinctly blueberry. Ash is nice and light. Felt talkative and giddy halfway thru the joint with all stresses melting away. Eyes get heavy toward the end but body is still not locked to the couch. Sleep comes easily a bit after a joint. Strong floral / kush nose with a little pine, Taste is floral with orange / citrus - Classic Pink Kush with a citrus twist. Smokes great, very slow and even burn with white ash. Potency is good with calming and relaxation in the body with a motivating cerebral high without heaviness or burnout.

TopShelfBC I ordered a mix and match ounce on the weekend and it shipped on Monday from BC. It arrived to me Thursday in NS which is phenomenal due to covid. Here is what it looked like: http://imgur.com/a/QTc7zvp The oz price was 155 and you could basically choose 1 quad and 3 AAA strains. You could upgrade a strain for 10 so I chose to do that since I was also using a first time buyer coupon for 20%. Total price shipping included was 132. They included a 1 or 2g sample of bc rockstar as well which is always a great bonus on my first order. I got 7g each of bluefin tuna, greasy pink, super nuken, and pink death. All the weed came properly cured, smelled great and burned perfectly. They told me on discord they ran into some supply issues and so that's why the packaging was a bit tight for 7g. The squished bud doesnt bother me at all but I thought I should mention it incase others get the same; It's just temporary I'm told. I'm not sure a first order could have gone any better. I think I got a great deal using the coupon and I look forward to trying more stuff from these guys. There are 20$ incentives for reviews but I'd rather not collect it. If anyone knows me I dont like incentive based reviews and I was going to write this no matter what.

OG Shark AAAA-/Top Shelf BC/June 2020

I mainly communicate with them via Discord and the gentleman who runs the show (I am NOT calling you Harry) is always quick to respond. Typically within an hour or two but never longer than a day. What's really fantastic to see is their ability to incorporate customer feedback into the products/prices they offer. When they first launched, there were no multi-ounce discounts nor any mix-and-match products. To my surprise, both of these options were incorporated within weeks giving options for both bulk buyers and casual users just looking to try a few strains out. I might be lucky living in Manitoba as I've only had 1 out of 15 orders take longer than 2-3 business days during the pandemic but Top Shelf kept that status quo going as I've never had to wait longer than 2 business days from them coming from BC. In terms of ratings, I've had about 7 strains from them and each and every assessment is bang-on and this honesty is apparent when asking for recommendations if you're unsure of what to buy. Bag Appeal - 10/10 Have you ever been in Northern Manitoba in the middle of a blizzard? A biting windchill, fear of death, and low visibility so all you can see in front of you is white? If so, you'll know exactly what it's like to lay eyes on this beauty for the first time. This thing is coated, and I mean COATED, with trichomes. Once you run your snowblower through it, the medium-sized light green buds have a firm consistency that squishes ever so slightly along with a perfect cure. The half ounce I ordered came in at 14.7g which is more than a man can ask for. Impressive stuff! Smell/Taste - 8/10 To be honest, I was hoping for a bit more nose from this given it's a quad (albeit a minus) but it's definitely not lacking in nasal stimulation. Initially, you're greeted with an delicate earthiness that slowly peels back to reveal dollops of citrus and morning dew. The consistency of the smoke was medium with barely a tickle on the throat during exhale. Again, earthiness dominates most of your tastebuds with those pleasant hints of citrus following not far behind. I'm not much of a joint smoker but the ash in my bong looked almost identical to the crystal coverage - whiter than a Donald Trump rally. Potency - 9/10 Given my initial impressions above, I wasn't sure what to expect from the effects. Described as a balanced hybrid with no known confirmation of lineage other than OG, I was certainly looking forward to the surprise. The initial wave of euphoria started in the centre of my body slowly eminating outwards over the course of a few minutes until I was completely relaxed and couch-locked. However, there's a certain alertness maintained and after about 45 minutes, I was able to start to carry out menial tasks like grinding up some more of this for my next bowl. I'd say this is well-suited for an after-work puff which could be moved up to morning-noon for rainy days off of work. NOTE: The description on the website boasts that this strain may make you '...uncontrollably horny.' After smoking some after dinner with my lady friend the other evening, I can definitely attest that this is no joke! Value - 10/10 I believe this was going for $200/oz at first but dropped to $180/oz just recently which makes this an easy decision. Admittingly, I only grabbed a half as part of their mix-and-match pack in my recent order which I'm already regretting. This purchase stemmed again from a sample I recieved a month or two back which grew on me when I smoked it exclusively a couple of Saturdays back. This is probably one of the better regular prices out there right now for something quad-level. This also qualifies for their multi-ounce discounts along with the AAAA- Dosidos they just dropped (Haven't tried yet...Stay tuned!) As a side note, to someone visiting their site for the first time, their pricing system can appear all over place as only some qualify for the multi-ounce discount and you need to pay a bit more for certain quad level selections in your $155/oz mix-and-match. Once you get used to it, you realize there are tremendous deals to be found and you just have to play around with what you're looking for to find the best fit. Failing that, just get a hold of them on Discord or shoot them an email and they'll gladly lend you a hand. Overall - 47/50 Top Shelf BC continues to impress me with their selection and accurate ratings. While I certainly wish they were able to get some full AAAA quads in, the fact that they rate their products so honestly makes it well worth the wait when they do. OG Shark is an extremely impressive smoke for the price and I can't recommend it enough for those who prefer either balanced hybrids or lighter indicas. It may not get you laid but it will certainly get you ripped!

Bag Appeal - 9/10 Upon opening my first bag, I was greeted with a pleasant site of medium, round buds that are firm to the touch.  The trim was close to being flawless with ample crystal coverage and a lovely hue that ranged from lime to forest green.  Not a single speck of intentional shake was to be found either.  For an AAA+, I was pleasantly surprised at how good this looked! Weight was 28.6g which I am DEFINITELY not complaining about. Smell/Taste - 9/10 GAS WARNING!  While it wasn't a punch to the face like a $280 quad, the fuel aroma here cannot be denied and permeated my apartment with the smell shortly after opening it up.  I also got a bit of cream and floral notes which have flourished in a jar with an Integra Boost over the last couple of weeks.  I'm not too familiar with the characteristic of one of the parents (Blood Rose) but this mixture of aromas are right up my alley. These scents transfer over to the smoke where, again, it will feel like you're drinking out of the nozzle at the gas station.  The smoke is thicker than Kyle Lowry's backside and, while I don't smoke joints so I can't comment on oil rings, it burned almost snow white in my bong. Potency - 9/10 I haven't been smacked in the head this badly since I bought my ex-girlfriend a knife for Christmas.  The initial blast immediately made me stop any complex thought and say 'Whoa' to myself like Keanu Reeves.  So much so, I've been struggling to write the last half of this review.  Of course, being a heavy indica, I was also greeted by a warm wave of relaxation that is beckoning me to move from my desk over to my couch and eat the leftover pho in my fridge.  My past experiences with this strain can let you know the high lasts longer than a marathon and, while not a knock-out, is most definitely recommended for closer to the end of your evening. Value - 9/10 List price on this is currently $180/oz.  I grabbed my original oz a few weeks ago with a couple of different ozs which, using their amazing multi-ounce discount, dropped the price to just $153/oz which would make this a 10/10 if it were the price on its' own!  Considering the time of year and pandemic situation, the regular price puts this at a 9/10.  Again, the rating was spot on and I would personally put this as an AAAA-. I was so enamoured with this strain, I threw in another q of this in my recent mix-and-match oz to stock up and didn't have to pay an upcharge for the premium quality. As a side note, to someone visiting their site for the first time, their pricing system can appear all over place as only some qualify for the multi-ounce discount and you need to pay a bit more for certain quad level selections in your $155/oz mix-and-match.  Once you get used to it, you realize there are tremendous deals to be found and you just have to play around with what you're looking for to find the best fit.  Failing that, just get a hold of them on Discord or shoot them an email and they'll gladly lend you a hand. Overall - 46/50 I've been looking to wittle my MOM list down over the past few months and try to stick with a few regulars who have my back and Top Shelf BC has quickly risen to the head of the pack.  Their friendly approach to communication is refreshing and honest and this is well represented by the products they offer.  Typically, I try to limit myself to quads but I'm glad I decided to take a gamble on this strain as it's a welcome addition to my family of heavy indicas I like to keep around.  BUY THIS NOW! These were beautiful dense nugs, smell was nothing too crazy, nice and herbal. Really enjoyed smoking this one, it has a nice high that slightly put me to sleep. I ordered this one with the Mike Tyson, Blueberry AK and Pine OG and although it's the nicest looking bud, I prefer the other strains. Definitely still some solid bud! Got this from the mix and match $155 oz deal, I'll be ordering from them again as their customer service was great. Quality: 8/10 Value: 9/10

**Pink Death Star AAA+** **Smell**: Gassy, Kushy, little sweet, gas comes out more when it's ground. All around pleasant I usually end up smelling the jar for an extra min because I really enjoy the smell. **Visuals**: Nugs are small-med but I'm not expecting giant beasts from 7g in a mix and match, trichome coverage is decent, trim could be better all around decent. **Flavour**: Tastes pretty similar to how it smells but the sweetness is more upfront on the taste. This is my first pink strain so I can't comment on how it matches up to other pinks but I personally enjoy it a fair deal. **High**: Solid potent Indica body high with that nice mild drowsiness behind the eyes, not a total knockout but I'd still stray away from it during the day unless you don't have too much to do. **Rating**: Quality 8/10 Value 7/10 It's nice but I don't think it quite earns it's AAA+ rating and I'm rating value based on the 180 It's listed at since I got it as part of a mixnmatch with the first timer discount. All around I'd say it's a solid indica with a really solid smell and taste but it loses points on it's trim and the high while good isn't anything special, I'd recommend it for someone looking for a solid daily smoke with good flavour. **Pink Bubba AAA** **Smell**: Nice sweet gassy smell with a solid earthy background when you break into a nug you get a whiff of kush. **Visuals**: Again Nugs small-medium sized, Trich coverage is nicer on this by a little but pretty similar, same can be said for the trim. All around very similar visually to the pink death star but just a tiny bit prettier. **Flavour**: The earthy tones push themselves to the front there are small hints of the sweetness and gas and slightly more hints of kush than those. Not quite my thing but not bad in any way. **High**: Another just solid indica, big more on the sleepy side than the Pink Death star was. Enjoyable and again more of a evening or night time smoke real solid. **Rating**: Quality 7.5/10 Value 7/10 At the regular list price of 160/oz it's a good deal, the taste isn't for me but it's still a solid AAA. **Death Bubba AAA**: WILL UPDATE WHEN SMOKED. Haven't smoked this stuff yet but I wanna put this review up on the rest of em since it will be a few days before I get around to this stuff. All I can say so far is the smell is a solid bubba smell and the nugs are very very dense. **Blue Fin Tuna AAAA-** **Smell**: A strong classic tuna smell with a chunk of sweetness added. **Visuals*: Small-med nugs again, seems like a few less smalls than the others. Dense with a nice coverage of trichs a beautiful mixture of dark blue and green hues, could use a bit better trim but all around beautiful to look at. **Flavour**: The sweetness comes out more in the flavour but the traditional tuna still asserts itself well enough, taste is a little muted sometimes but when it's not it's great. **High**: A step up on the potency here for sure. It's not quite as much of a knockout as I'd expect from a tuna strain but still strong body effects and a nice little buzz in the head too. **Rating**: Quality: 8.5/10 Value: 7/10 at the regular price of 190/oz I'd call it a fair buy in today's market. I think this is really on the edge of AAAA- and AAA+ when the flavour is all there it easily lands on the AAAA- side but theinconsistency there and the less than stellar trim make me think that AAA+ is probably a more accurate rating. **MixnMatch ounce** Gonna do a quick thing on how I felt about the quality of the mix and match ounce overall. The strain selection was pretty good though when I bought it they didn't have any full AAAA, you get 7G that is a selection of AAAA(when availible) AAAA- or AAA+, the next 7g lets you pick from most of their AAA+ and all of their AAA and the last two 7 G are your choice of AAA or lesser. Any of the last 3 options you can select a higher grade for an aditional cost of 10-15$. at 155 I'd rate the value around 8/10 with the first timer discount to get it down to 124 I think it's a solid 9/10 value wise. From the browsing I've done this is one of the better mixnmatch OZ's on the market right now and I suggest everyone give it a shot. **Incentive** 10$ in credit for this review. The only thing that that encouraged me personally to do was to actually start writing reviews instead of just thinking about writing reviews. which I hope to do more of in general in the future If I missed anything feel free to ask me I'll happily answer any questions I can.

Pink death Topshelf BC May 2020

Ordered 2 oz of multiple strains, first thing I have to say with every strain is the freshness is perfect, not too dry, just perfect. Vapes very nicely in my crafty + Dense, dank excellent smell, lots of crystals and very potent. Has the classic pink/death bubba flavor (really good). Vapes so well because the freshness is perfect. Packaging was all great, 10 out of 10 there. The only stuff I'll ever give a 10 ouy of 10 for is something I had 20 years ago and some purple monkey balls I had maybe five years ago, but this is pretty much a 9 or a 9.5 out of ten. And they had a first time buyer code which got me the two ozs for less than three hundred bucks of what they brand as aaaa and aaa, this pink death was labelled aaa but I believe it to be just as good as their bluefin tuna (aaaa) which I also got. The guy who runs it or at least works there is active on Reddit and email, customer service was a 10 out of 10 My new MOM!
