Weed Cargo Sample Pack - Late December

Provided free as a review sample, not a bad starter pack. They ship out with papers, tips, a doob tube, a clipper lighter, a comically over-sized Boveda, a sticker and three grams of weed (chosen at random). Weed itself I'd peg at around AAA across the board. Romulan has the classic unique taste, Rock Tuna has a bit of a muted Tuna Kush flavour, Pink Island smells nice. Terps are there, none of the bud has much in the way of trichomes though. Also unmistakeable grassiness to the weed (not in a bad way, just distinctive). All in all it's weed I'd pay $140 an ounce for and not more. I could see it being a popular option for the Shamrock Cannabis type of consumer.

I was approached on Reddit for free samples with the promise of doing a review, but from that experience it was personable. Packaging: came in a small pizza box with a air locked plastic bag inside. They also threw in a small blue grinder, filter paper, papers and a nice smooth lighter. It smelt like candy with a hint of lemon but I found the taste to be muted and a little harsh due to dryness. The potency was good on this one and I found myself in a social mood ready for good conversation. It was caked and smelt like sweet fruity berries. When busted up it had such a nice texture,humidity and appeal on point. The taste however was more woody but the smoke was very smooth.This strain is definitely a hybrid leaning on the indica side. I loved how it made my body feel while I felt focused enough to clean the house. 9/10 https://i.imgur.com/PCGVd5Z.jpg Blueberry cheesecake was a real Treat! It smelt like sweet blueberry cheesecake and tasted like blueberries. The smoke was extremely smooth and hit me right behind the eyes. It was a potent strain that creeped up on me and surprised me. This strain is perfect for nighttime , watching movies. It was a heavy strain but I was extremely impressed 10/10 Incentive for Customers: Three free grams to do a review. Incentive for Review: To get the word out because they are a new mom. Notes: All in all I’d say I was quiet impressed with the strains I received and how fast I did get them. This mom is one to look at and definitely get in touch with to find the perfect strain for you. I will be taking a future order with these guys!

Smells of earth with a scent similar to other tuna strains. Had a gassy smell upon breaking up and tasting, burned smooth with a good oil ring and light ash. Well cured and good bag appeal overall. Hit me like an indica dom with solid potency, this is definitely a nice strain for relaxing. Pink Island: https://i.imgur.com/sRaW1bn.jpg Smelled and tasted like classic pink. Nice floral sweetness to it that burned light grey and smooth like the other strains. Not dry, just a little flattened by the tight mylar (single grams) and a solid AAA pink for sure as it stands. Romulan: https://i.imgur.com/KW7Jrfs.jpg Smelled and tasted like a sweet pine. Arrived the most crushed but was otherwise fine. Nice cure, light ash, smooth tasty smoke, nice and relaxing 70/30 indica dom effects. Overall: While it would seem that these strains in the welcome pack are tiered from AA to AAAA, I would say that these are accurately AAA to AAAA in quality. I can't judge bag appeal too much because I only go single gram samples, otherwise these strains were all well done all around.

It came Packaged in a little square box to avoid anything being squished although the vacuum seal was quite tight and ended with the buds being squished anyways. The last time I smoked it was so long ago that I had no idea what was Indica and what was Sativa. Back to the recent. After using it for a wake n bake the last couple of days I can see the popularity. The look is plain as weed goes, the smell is pugnent and the flavor is easy. The buzz is flat out energy and focus. Great way to jump start the day. It’s comparable to other solid Sativa strains like Jake Herer and Durban Poison. Only drawback for me is that it makes me wanna eat. A lot. Oh so Hungry. Durban Poison is actually a hunger suppressant. If you want to eat then this will be a great strain for you! Grape Juice https://i.imgur.com/h82duWk.jpg This Delicious grape strain is a nice full all over body experience for me, might be a good strain for beginners with it's nice easy rise to a full all over body stone that is great for my pain for my fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. The taste is sweet and full aroma that is very pleasant but not over powering with a smooth smoke. For me it is a stay at home and just relax, watch a movie or listen to your favourite music strain. Wedding Cake https://i.imgur.com/9fluEIN.jpg It arrived as dense little nugs with some excess protective trim, this wedding cake had a pleasant nose of sweet kush and earthy vanilla. Leading off with woody, earthy notes before quickly settling into its classic ‘cake’ flavours, this indica-leaning hybrid maintained its earthy sweetness until some harshness emerged at higher temperatures. Offering enjoyable relaxation in a stoney, balanced experience, this Wedding Cake was impressively potent as well as versatile. These samples were provided for honest and unbiased reviews.

Purple Lemon Haze - Weed Cargo - Dec 2019

These smaller buds were rich in greens and purples, healthy orange hairs and a good covering in trichomes. Sweet berries and that classic haze smell dominated the fairly strong nose. The overall flavor was very similar to blue dream, but a little more grape candy than blueberry. Good humidity and fairly sticky, it smokes slow and even with salt and pepper ash. The flavor on smoking brings out some lemon and hints of vanilla or caramel before turning more earthy. Smokes well with a slow, even burn and lighter salt and pepper ash. With a medium body, it was pretty smooth but sat heavy in the lungs. Feeling like a creeper, no immediate effects were felt. Some feelings of warmness moving around the body were the only physical effects noticed while an elevated, motivated mood rounded out the mental effects.

I was most excited for this strain, and it being an indica I found the effects to be lacklustre, no noticeable taste or scent.. but again I’m sure it’s because of the 1G sample packs, always arrive dry like that. The high was nice and lasted about 30 minutes, Wish I had more of this strain to try, but as a indica it didn’t couchlock me like I wanted, or get me as baked as I would of liked. 6/10

Great Hybrid alternative for a daytime Indica smoker who needs a strain that has a non couchlock effect. Or in turn for a 24/7 Sativa smoker who needs a good strain for body and mood, but not the head fog. Long lasting effect 2-3, non groggy finish. Flavors & taste we’re both earthy on this one, maybe because I had had gram sample packs. 7/10

Review/welcome package repost - weed cargo -Late December

Ok. So first off.... Can places stop sending these shitty plastic grinders? I'll hippy pick before I use one. I understand including everything you need but it's just superfluous plastic waste and kind of pisses me off a little bit. Showed up Christmas Eve which is kind of nice. Smell proof/Hazmat type packaging around a box with everything wrapped in a single vac seal. I recommend a second vac seal but that's just my opinion. Free papers, lighter and tips are nice. I could care less about the cheap plastic doob tube but the raw cone is always nice. I honestly find the cones to be more trouble than they are worth, it's not hard to roll a fairly immaculate cone and I find they don't pack the same as a proper roll. The large boveda is completely unnecessary and is just added expense that will be tossed by alot of consumers. Save the money and upgrade to a glass doob tube like shamrock. Got Romulan, Rock Tuna and Island pink. All weights are accurate. Will update later after smoking Edit: so when I places it the package also was supposed to include '0.5g of premium shatter' which has now changed on the site. I don't really care, I'm not one for concentrates generally; particularly after all the pine resin nonsense but it deserves to be noted. First at bat: First strain is Romulan. It has the sweet fruity/fermented flavour I expect from the strain. The smell is mild and doesn't completely pop when busted but gets a bit louder with a hint of vanilla that wasn't noticable before busting. Consistency and moisture are perfect for rolling. The flavour isn't really there in a joint but is super smooth and burns nice with a fine powdery ash.(I always find ash texture is a better indicator of burn than actually colour). The potency is decent, effects aren't as pronounced as other examples of the strain that I have had before. AA+ to AAA- bud. Decent but I wouldn't go out of my way to smoke it over something else. Rated AA+ so rating is accurate here. Second: rock Tuna. Rated as AAAA. Smell is again mild but there is a decent blanket of trichromes. Mild spicy gas smell with an earthy note when busted up. Flavour is more pronounced on this one with a earthy spice box/shelf/aisle thing going on with a non-descript petroleum tint. Once again it smokes smooth and it is fairly potent but I would go for GG in the same price/oz range. They rate it at AAAA but I'll say it's more like a AAA example of the tuna kush and Rockstar cross.
