[ ] Gelatti by @hierbacanada AAAA $220 Lineage: South Florida OG x Humbolt Gelato Bag appeal = rock hard dense nugs that are perfectly trimmed and cured, not a sugar leaf or a point of shake in sight. They have a snappy texture but are very sticky inside and out, and have tons of visual trichome heads covering every inch of these nugs. Handling it leaves your fingers sticky and grinding it will jam up your grinder. As for looks, the buds are beautiful with nice purples throughout, nice bright orange pistils and as mentioned, loads of full trichomes cover the buds and in the light they sparkle as if they were dipped in glass. Smell/Taste/Burn = the smell out of the bag is very similar to the Hierba ICC I got not long ago but with a strong minty twist to it. So I would describe it as a strong menthol overtone with notes of sharp fuel and a slightly creamy undertone. It has a strong menthol taste on inhale with a bit of a gassiness and has a sweet gelato taste mixed in on exhale. It tastes basically identical to the last batch of Gelatti by Hierba I tried, AMAZING!!! Joints rolled with raw papers burn perfectly even and slow while producing a clean white ash. High = this is quite strong, stronger than I was expecting. Nice strong indica high that starts with a happy/euphoric head high and a strong relaxing body high follows quickly after. Strong enough to sit my ass down and stay there (solid couchlock) and to take away pain and anxiety quickly (this is based on smoking my usual 1 gram spliff to test). This one finishes quite sedating and put me to bed nice and snug last night. Definitely recommended as a late afternoon/evening smoke or a lazy day with no plans. The last time I tried the Gelatti it was great but, this batch is even better. Overall = Quality 9.5/10. Value 10/10
