Gorgeous looking nug made up of multiple shades of purple, dark olive green, and even some grey and black with an abundance of fire orange pistils and some yellow/orange in color. Adding immensely to the bag appeal and matting everything down is an immense amount of glistening trichomes covering every nook and cranny with many outer heads intact. • ??? • Smell/Taste/Burn - the nose on this is very strong and nostalgic for me as, I haven't had a strain with such a strong pine needle smell since I was in high school. The taste translates absolutely seamlessly to a very smooth smoke that tastes just like it smells. Strong piney terps dominating for the most part until you are met with just hints of sweet earthy Cookies on the exhale and aftertaste but again, it's just hints as that pine needle taste overpowers it. Joints burn perfectly instantly forming a huge oil ring and produce a salt and pepper colored ash. • ? • High - another one that sets in behind the eyes and leaving you with spacey head high that is very calming. Quickly becoming slightly indica dominant, a body load joins in that works great for chronic pain and continues to build until leaving you feeling lethargic but not couchlocked and completely able to function being a great daytime smoke. • ? • Overall this was my 1st time with this strain and certainly wont be my last. Amazing bag appeal, crazy loud terps that translate perfectly, clean and very greasy burn, and medium/high potency effects that last long. I rate this Quality 9.25/10

Crown Chakra - Kootenay Craft - Apr 2021 (Preview)

This first dropped in Feb or March I believe, but I got the re-up batch as part of their 4/20 promo and I'm pretty sure this will end up being my favourite of what we tried from this source in April Listed as the sativa-dominant offspring of Sour Diesel x Blackberry x White Widow x an unknown Thai sativa, this Crown Chakra arrived slightly dry but with a pronounced nose that is woody, musky and herbal, with an underlying sweetness in the jar. Really attractive, highly resinous medium nugs that came in chunky, funky shapes - I felt horrible about breaking these nugs down. Found this fairly smooth and quite flavourful along the same lines as its aroma, though it's a bit harder to describe all of the sour and fruity notes on this, likely 9 Enjoyment score Would describe the experience as an uplifting but slightly stony/foggy cerebral buzz that builds and builds over time before descending as physical relaxation and improved appetite, with a tiny bit of burnout.. I happened to try/review this alongside some Violet Vixen from the same source, and I found that hybrid to be more heady and uplifting, with this Crown Chakra feeling more like a balanced strain between the two Excited to get to know this better over time, but have really enjoyed photographing this cultivar while getting acclimated to new equipment - kudos to the grower + source for getting such beautiful flowers to us with minimal signs of handling Expected 416 Database Score: 89-92 AAAA Full Disclosure: Subsequent to our reviews, we are humbled that Kootenay Craft has become one of our approved charitable sponsors. Crunch Berries - Kootenay Botanicals - Mar 2021 (Preview)

Arriving as resinous small-to-medium nugs with a bright, sweetly-pungent aroma of woody, musky pine and sweet grains, these Crunch Berries (DJ Short's Blueberry x male Triple OG) aren't very impressive visually despite being of good humidity.. I think the cultivar's lack of luster and slight yellow-ness is from its organic grow approach, but I'm not certain - apologies to the source that I've not really taken any studio images I'm happy with of this cultivar so far The experience starts as a bright, chemmy, woody sweetness that is quite distinctive to these genetics before settling into an earthy, woody, cereal-like profile with hints of sweet gas, and finally concluding as a grainy, peppery finish with a splash of fruit. There's a touch of onset harshness that sometimes makes me cough, but the back half of this experience is very smooth and flavourful, with Crunch Berries being a tasty, familiar strain that I think most would enjoy. Likely 9 or possible 9.5 Enjoyment score It hits a little harder than I would typically expect of this strain and I'd describe its effects as being a satisfying euphoric stone with a bit of energy, definite improved appetite, and only slight burnout if over-consumed. Woolly Mammoth - Kootenay Craft - Apr 2021 (Preview)

Arriving as a giant purple nug with long bright orange pistils plus some smaller nugs to complete the weight, this Woolly Mammoth (LA Confidential x Snowcap) has a modest aroma of woody, slightly berry-sweetened baked goods in the jar.. Not super loud, but its nose has grown on me over time Flavour-wise, this begins mostly woody, musky before settling into an unexceptional earthy sweetness with surprising splashes of berries and baked goods at the end.. In terms of the experience, this balanced cultivar turns out to be right up my alley as a euphoric experience that hits fairly quickly before slowly subsiding into some physical relaxation, more heady than I was expecting which is always appreciated. Purple diesel / west coast cannabis/ mai

Pre 98 bubba Xsour diesel Dry on the outside but sticky on the inside. The odor is very minimal, when opening the bag we detect a faint fruity odor and once grind a sweet aroma of diesel that emerges. To taste its like the smell, it is very light, earthy diesel taste. The smoke is gentle on the throat. The ashes are salt and pepper. Can be smoked from morning to night with its energizing and euphoric effects.

First time trying out Gastown’s mimosa after hearing all the hype, the buds are pretty fresh and not too dry. Super terpy and has a very intoxicating fruity/sweet smell, I love it. Got me pretty ripped off a small joint and woo the high is very euphoric and uplifting but still remains a very clear headed high. Clean ash and a smooth smoke. Strong Sativa with nice terps and clean high. Can’t go wrong with GT mimosa. Quality 9/10 Value 9/10

Hindu Kush - Order Bud Online - May 2021

Full album : http://imgur.com/a/DdDHGhe This lovely Hindu Kush from OBO packs quite the bag appeal as it's one of the better looking cuts I've seen of this strain. The buds are round, heavy, and plump in nature with a solid density to them, leaving them nice and sticky within. A combination of dark purples and forest greens, followed by a slick coating of crystals and bright orange hairs. Very well trimmed overall with minimal leaf left behind. There is a tiny bit of oxidization going on deeper inside the nugs. The nose on this Hindu Kush is dominated by pungent notes of dank earth with a bit of a sour muskiness, followed by subtle notes of sweet kush. It translates accurately over to the taste, carrying over those same earthy, musky qualities paired with flavours of spicy kush and a touch of pine. Smooth and slow burning with a sizeable oil ring and darker salt and pepper ash, although I found it be more enjoyable in the bong. A very mellow, laid back indica high that noticeably gains strength and momentum over time. Starting out with light, cerebrally focused effects before shifting into more of powerful, spaced out effects. It's physical qualities shortly follow, providing an extremely relaxed, tranquil stone that stifles any plans of being functional and productive as it mainly promotes a slumbering date with the couch.

Star Wars OG - HGA - May

Got a sample of this over the 420 holidays and decided to grab 14gs of it as it was on for a decent price. Buds are well trimmed, and big in size. Great indica high that is very long lasting. Burns good. Grab some while it's on sale. I highly recommend. Its AAA rating is on point.

Quality 8/10 Value 8/10 This strain is NOT for beginners! Two hits, and I am high as a kite! I get stoned quicker on Cherry Pie than on any other strain. I smell and taste some sweet and some spice. CP smokes pretty harsh so be sure to have water nearby.m. I consider CP to be a "typical stoner" strain. Everything arounds you slows down, your mind is racing, but you just look off into the distance. Over time you will be happy, and if you are with people, you will be social. This strain is perfect for friends to come over and relax outside. Just be sure that your friends are advanced smokers.

Demon Breath - HGA - April 2021

Picked this up during the 420 sale for 35% off. Majority of the buds were medium sized and this one in the picture. Dense buds with a heavy gas/earthy smell. Burns clean in a joint with white ash. High was very good, definitely only wanna smoke this stuff in the evening as it’s a strong couch locking high. Q: 9/10 V: 9/10 (only because of the sale)

Love Potion Shatter - distillatedirect - 420 sale

(repost because I don't know what I am doing) I ordered an ounce of Love Potion shatter during this years 420 sale from distillatedirect. I ended up paying $12.64 a gram all in, after the discount. I could not be happier, it got here in half the expected time, it came with some free goodies, and it weighed out to more like 31 grams once I got it home. I will certainly be ordering again.

King Tuts- The Dope Dispensary- May 2021

Medium sized chunky diamonds coated in a even coating of sauce giving the diamonds a light peach to yellow appearance; depending on the amount collected together. The consistency was tacky with the product initially feeling dense and slightly hardened on the exterior. After agitating the concentrate, it became much easier to handle; making it simple to collect and manipulate. Smells initially out of the jar were mildy woody, and sweet; but as I agitated the product there was also mild notes of skunk blending in. Found the diamonds melted very cleanly with minimal light amber residue left behind. Flavors were moreso sweet and citrusy with a mild almost tropical fruit taste on exhale. Found the effects immediately had me feeling a boost of energy and focus as I was able to hammer out this review and a couple other tasks that needed to be taken care of. Had this slowly taper off to include some more relaxing euphoric effects but still felt this mainly above the shoulders. Potent invigorating effects that shined for me in the daytime.

Cat Piss - One Two Treez - May 2021

Full album : https://imgur.com/a/BBE4slR My first time trying this Super Silver Haze phenotype dubbed 'Cat Piss'. These sativa structured buds are of a pale, olive green colour with darker green shades throughout. Covered in a healthy layer of trichomes from top to bottom as well as a fair amount of bright orange pistils. Even with a smaller quantity I could tell this is some sticky, well cured flower, breaking up to a perfect joint rolling texture and consistency that does all the work for you. A very pungent, in your face type of nose on this Cat Piss but I'm not really getting any actual ammonia type, cat pee scents which is actually a good thing. I get a very citrus dominant aroma at first but not a sweet type, more like an actual orange or tangerine peel, followed by hints of skunk. When it comes to the taste it's similar but different and much more 'funkier'. Bitter orange peels and spices with a skunky chemical flavour on exhale that can be a little strange to the senses at first. Not harsh but definitely a sharp, expansive smoke, burning with a decent sized resin ring and producing a salt n pepper ash. The high heavily leans to the sativa side of the spectrum, promoting both upbeat and cerebral effects right off the bat that can even be overwhelming if not used to powerful sativas. A single bowl already had me satisfied enough to forget about loading a second one as it's social, topic to topic type energy can be quite distracting at times. Perfect for daytime use as it fills you with uplifting and energetic qualities, working as an effective pick me up, even when feeling tired or lazy.

SugarCane Lineage (Platinum x Slurricane) Source : Classics.to Grower - Private ACMPR Smell - Stuff is so pungent creamy and citrus almost candy like makes you keep diving in, after awhile I started noticing more aromas I never got from the first time checking it out, I knew this would be a real special treat right away. Appeal - Having never tried this strain before was not sure what to expect but its straight icy dripping in trichs looking all white with a tad of purps coming thorough, bright orange hairs, very nice looking flower trim job just prefect with a soft pillow cure. Smoke - very creamy sweet candy toke hints of wine/alcohol ash was salt n pepper mostly white easy on the lungs. Potency - Seems like a hybrid that creeps up on you very potent stuff but wont make you sleepy great daytime bud to leave you stoned. 9/10 One of the better slurricane crosses I have had really clean smoke , highly recommend giving classics a try, amazing service and care for what they do!
