I was attracted to this one based on the reviews I've heard from it and bottom line is yeah - its true.
The looks were spot on, nice bag of nugs of mostly mediums that are fully caked all over. Super frosty. The trim and a...nd style definitely is seen as exotic.
Flavours of cake, pine, gas were dominant with the smoke.
The best part of it is how smooth each toke was. Great to see a nicely grown LSO of high quality. Clean burn too.
Potency is above average. Indica leaning high, great relaxation, euphoria, and spurts of happy joy and giggles. Not overly sedating.
Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this one personally, I truly enjoyed it. I would order it again if its back in stock.
It's a bit hard to judge the looks of it really, I wish I could see the regular size nugs. Most of the nugs were evenly small, about dime to nickel sizing. Nice vibrant brigher green with darker leaves, and of course, nice and f...rosty. It was a bit dry, but as expected a bit for smalls.
This strain appealed to me of course of the name itself. Octane. The gaaaaaaasssss. It definitely came out on this one, with hints of sweet cream, pine kush. Flavour translation was decent, not super strong, but still offering what the nose came to be.
Then burn was alright. It wasn't dark, but it wasn't powdery white. Best described as light grey, with darker peppering here and there. It smoked good though, little to no harshness. Good for smalls for sure.
Potency is moderate too. A nice balancing high that wasn't too disabling, but not on the weak side either.
For the price, it was good. I hesitate to pay $200 for a PBB strain nowadays, except maybe Gas Basket, so getting the smalls here was 100% justifiable and worth for me.
This strain looks pretty good overall, frosted nugs, decent sized nugs. This bach was still sticky and fresh too, I believe it was just dropped recently. Pretty appealing all around, the trichome coverage is quite impressive. <...br/>The nose is truly quite special. It's almost like a candy, sweet cherry flavour, which was very enjoyable when opening the bag. Luckily, the flavour translation was pretty good too, having that sweet fruity treat with some undertones of earthy cookie/pie.
The burn was decent, I would have loved to see it burn snow powdery white, but it was a little bit on the light grey side. Nothing to complain about though, smoke appeal was good, smooth and delicious.
Potency is moderate. If I could ask for a bit more, this could probably improve a little bit more. With that said, it's a great afternoon or early evening treat due to its nice flavour and good smoke appeal.
First things first, the looks: some exotic dark nugs with heavy purpling. Maybe it should be called Purple Faygo. Nugs are still sticky and fresh, leaving a resin like coating on my fingers. I love the amount of crystals all over as well for such... a dark strain.
Jokes about the Purple Faygo name because the strain is well deserved of the Blue Faygo name. It has a nice resemblance of a sweet and berry like nose and flavour that alot of BLUE strain offer.
Smoke is quite proper with mostly white ash, a decent oil ring, and stayed well lit. No problems or downsides when it comes to smoke appeal.
Potency is moderate to just above moderate at best. This is the one thing that I would ask more of if I could, but considering all the benefits above, it still is a fantastic offering.
