I'm going to attempt to post this for a 3rd time, I hope all is clear and that this one stays up, I have confirmed that it follows the rules.

Been a while since I've posted, still popping in here a few times a week and always appreciate everyones reviews. I usually go with HVE (a...nd now still will...) and buy my sauces but I wanted to try something different, of course I get burned on it....

So to start - I saw some reviews on the Mike Tyson FSE and wanted to try it out, hop onto the site, got a my selection and said ”ah fuck it, almost at the $200 for free shipping might as well add another one” decide to go with 2G of Tyson, 2G of Dosi Killer diamonds, 1G of Ghost OG, and 1G of their MAC ”NuTerps live resin”.

In event of them running out of stock of something I ordered, I chose ”Replace with another product of equal or greater value” My first time doing this but said ah why not.

Process went smooth, got them on time, packaging was fine, opened it up and realized I had gotten 2 ”NuTerps” ($50 value) in exchange for my Mike Tyson ($40), lower quality product but higher value, I said if it burns okay I have no problem, just a classic ”read the fine print” moment/ I didn't think about it that much.

Started dabbing them one by one, MAC to start - Was fairly smooth, and packed a decent high, and had a distinct taste to it - I'll elaborate in a minute. Star Kicker next - Was also smooth, but tasted the same as the MAC, huh? Well lets try again. Lavender last for the NuTerps, EXACT same taste, decent high like the rest.

Onto the Diamonds - Dosi Killer - Almost a similar consistency to the NuTerps but broken up into bits, tried a dab and it was a bit stronger potency wise but alas, I was very disappointed in the SAME flavour again....

Now this is where things went really sour for me. This is exactly when I knew something was wrong, I tried the Ghost OG, upon my first decent hit I got this really disgusting plastic flavour, it sent a weird vibe through me, made my tongue numb briefly and I quit the dab and swabbed it out.

What the fuck. Set that aside right away. Reminds me of some really bad stuff I got a while back, almost seems like too much fake terps or something really wrong.

I was hesitant to try the last one - the Mike Tyson; but it looked different compared to the rest so I tried it. No really distinct flavour at all, no unique buzz, so I lumped it in with the rest as fake.

So I decided to reach out to Gizmo via email before I went public with this, gave them 2 days to respond but crickets. Then I went on Wickr and PM'd them, they responded in a couple hours and said they've been swamped - no biggie. I copied and pasted my email to them, was told ”Sorry about that, we asked the chef and are waiting for replies” ”We can credit you back the Ghost OG you really didn't enjoy it” I replied - I'm just sitting on them atm, I'm not sure if I should continue to smoke them. I'm not asking for a full refund but I was expecting different flavours and effects per each strain. Would you consider compensating me half my order? If not, what would you be able to do for me?” They said ”We understand. This stuff is very subjective. We can' t walk into 7-11 and buy a drink and ask for refunds. As already aren't making much in this grind. Hope be understanding. We can credit you back on Dosi & Ghost OG”

I replied ”Ok thats cool with me, thank you.”

I sent my last message at 9:30pm EST, I waited overnight and until after work today (4pm) and was not credited.

UPDATE Sorry it's taking me a long ass time to write this (ate dinner inbetween). Within 20 minutes of posting this with zero context, I have already received an email of them apologizing and crediting me half of my order.

Unfortunately, I don't like fake concentrates and I don't like having to go public but I feel like this HAS to be said and I want NO ONE to smoke that Ghost OG or any other extracts of theirs for that matter incase the same thing happens.

Hope everyones having a great weekend. Picked up an oz of this and another 3.5gs of live resin for the Canada day sale, 30% off the weed brought it from $210 down to $147 or so, a great deal overall.

Bag Appeal - 8/10 - G...ood sizes of buds ranging from 0.2G up to 2.5Gs, a little more popcorn than I’d like but what made up for it was most popcorn nugs were nice and tight/compact with a great trim job, so I feel no value was lost there. Super bright orange hairs in huge clusters, creates lots of kief/crystal when ground up and great consistency across the buds.

Smell - 9/10 - A very unique smell, inbetween dank/pungent and earthy, reminds me of the Tennessee Hog I got from Blue Moon Cannabis a year or so ago.



Smoke - 8.5/10 - Nice smooth smoke, doesn’t hurt my lungs when I take larger tokes. Nice dank and earthy taste, similar to the smell it gives off.


Potency - 9/10 - A nice strong buzz that won’t put you out but puts you in a very relaxed and happy state. Goes great with having a few drinks as well (I mean what hybrid doesn’t haha).


Overall - 9/10 - Value - 9/10 - Would I pay full price for this? No, imo I would say that about almost any HGA product as they have tons of sales and have a rewards system, so full price usually is never what you pay. At approx. $150/oz this was a great deal. Great strain, was everything I expected and I’d be happy to order from HGA again.See More

I picked ...an oz of this up for $160. I did a fair bit of looking and messaging and figured I would try Stashbox out for the first time as HGA had sold out most of their deals, not being a craft quad guy and not wanting to break my wallet I figured I would try a lower priced strain. Nowhere did it claim that these strains were by Sacred Gardens so I’m assuming it isn’t, correct me if I’m wrong.
I ordered this, payment procedure was fairly standard and the product was shipped quickly after payment was accepted.


Bag Appeal - 5/10 - The reason this rating is so low is because I feel that the execution and packaging was very poorly done, whereas the final product isn’t that bad of a deal. Order arrived in a bubble mailer which immediately wasn’t a good sign (lol). Boxes are an amazing way to go and ensures your product has a better layer of protection and won’t be squished easily. Proceeded to open the package up and was greeted with 2 x 1 oz bags (also ordered an oz of AAA Sour Zkittles) vac sealed in a standard food bag (usual clear foodsaver bag). Opened up the individually sealed oz bags and the weed was vac sealed with a boveda in a tiny square shape inside the oz bag. I said to myself ’Theres no way they vac sealed an oz in here, this is way too tiny and squished’, (scaled it and it came out to 27gs). I opened the vac sealed weed and had to peel it apart nug by nug, quickly noticing the horrible trim job. The oz was made up of 2 large 3-4.5g nugs and a few mediums and a good amount of smalls. I trimmed all of my nugs by hand and came out to 2.5gs of shake/leaf that could have easily been trimmed off, buds looked MUCH better after. (Picture in post is before I trimmed, have a post trim picture and will provide if requested)

Buzz/High - 9.5/10 - For $160, the buzz is as good as it gets, super potent indica dominant high that doesn’t feel too sedating but gets your right where you want to be, enjoy jamming out and playing videogames with it!

Smoke - 8/10 - I’d rate this lower because it isn’t a very smooth smoke, but I’d raise it because its got a great flavour to it. Classic island pink taste with rich thick smoke, but somewhat harsh.

Overall - 7.5/10 - I’m not completely dissatisfied with my order, there were definitely some ups to it and the order wasn’t too bad, but I would personally order elsewhere as the packaging and bag appeal/trim were a huge turn off, which are big factors to me.


Am I being too picky? Has HGA been spoiling me too much or is this a fair review? I didn’t feel like I was too harsh on SB for this order but it didn’t surprise me or make me light up in any way.See More

Hystar Customer Service is an absolute 10/10


After sending them a very friendly but critical email about the leakage of 2 jars on my last order, they happily sent out replacements (which I honestly was not going to ask for) for them. I asked them in the email if they planned to move to... properly sealed glass jars and they said they are currently in the process (WOOHOO!) and said they were sorry for the leaking of the jars and would send out some free replacements to apologize.


I have only tried the Punchwood so far so thats all I can comment on -

Quality - 9.5/10

Taste - I’ve tried the Lime breath, death star, and purple monkey so far before this; Death Star was the most flavourful but after trying this I can happily say its got a much more unique and tastier profile. Sweet and spicy in a way, sweet like berries but spicy as in earthy.

Smoothness - Maybe a bit smoother than most of what I’ve tried, but they’re all around the same place, can happily rip my dabs at a decently low temps without coughing.

Buzz - Super strong. A tad bit stronger than the purple monkey but close. Most were all in a similar potency range, which is very strong for the price you pay.

Overall - Super happy if Hystar is for real moving over to glass jars and it will make me that much more willing to order from them and compare them to other places. They were very friendly when I emailed them and have gone above and beyond my expectations.See More

First order I’ve been disappointed with Kush Station. The quality for the price just wasn’t there this time, at $160/oz it had an awful trim job, my oz was packaged in 4x7g bags and was squished to death in the box. Only saving grace is the one massive nug I received and the taste of the flower....


Value - 7/10 Quality - 6/10


Bag Appeal - 6/10 - The box was bulging, unable to be properly closed due to using small 7g bags, all squished together. Trim job was meh, for $160 I expect much better, this is an oz I’d pay $100-$130 for. Fair bit of shake at the bottom of the bags, mostly all small nugs with the odd larger one, plenty of leaves and stems that could have been removed.


Smell and Taste - 8.5/10 - Probably the best part about this oz, smell is a classic Pink Kush gassy scent. Tastes gassy and very sweet, a nice flavour that I can appreciate.

Smoke and Buzz - 8/10 - Very smooth on the lungs which was unexpected for me as I’m used to Pink strains being like a punch to the chest. Buzz is about average, nothing amazing but a very nice evening buzz that mellows you out but doesn’t make you too sleepy.


Overview - 7/10

Overall, not the worst deal I’ve made but certainly could do better. I really wanted some Pink Kush so maybe I’ll try LPB next time.See More

My first time trying Hystar after looking for a new place for extracts, wow I am impressed for $35/g!

Let me start off with my complaints - Jars are not individually labelled, only the paper boxes are labelled, so don’t mix them up LOL

Pla...stic leaky jars - WHY OH WHY. Why must you ruin such a lovely product by putting it in a shitty plastic jar with an awful seal?!?!
My lime breath leaked all over the box, outside of jars were sticky except for Death Star. Look I’d much rather a glass jar but lets atleast make a start by getting plastic jars with proper seals.
Its sauce/ resin so I’m perfectly okay with it moving around in shipping but when it leaks, I’m not a happy camper.


Packaging - 3/10
Really sad to see such a great product get ruined by a bad packaging system. As mentioned above many big improvements could be made to prevent this issue.


Potency - 9.5/10
A bit stronger than my Elite Elevations butter I got for $30/g, Death Star had a great relaxing buzz that mellowed me out within a few minutes, Purple Monkey was a heavily sedating effect that makes me tired and absolutely ripped, heaviest of the 3. The Lime Breath hit with a great hybrid buzz that wasn’t too overpowering but very nice overall.


Smell - 9.5/10
All 3 smelled unique and strong! Lime breath being the most dominant, such a strong citrus/terpy lime smell. Death star following with a very pungent/earthy/dank smell. Purple monkey being the least stanky but smells gassy and dank.


Taste - 10/10
For the price, flavour like this is unbeatable imo. My buddy got sauce and diamonds for $70/g (I think it was a huge rip off) and they just sadly don’t compare. I found these resins to be better in every way, especially flavour.
All of the smells translated through perfectly in the flavour, so to save some time I won’t type out the tastes as they were essentially what the smells were.


Smoothness - 10/10
Smoother than the Elite Elevations budder, smoother than my buddys diamonds and sauce. I was genuinely surprised by how nice the dab was but still providing that strong punch I was looking for.


Overall - 8/10
This easily could have been a 9 or 9.5/10 but the packaging makes me hurt inside. Such great product, such awful packaging.See More

This is an awesome evening strain and at an amazing value for $140/oz.
Most of the oz is in the picture, ground up a few small nugs but most were .5 and up in what I got.
In a bong it hits fairly smooth with a bit of sweetness, followed by... a very mellow high that lasted for a great amount of time without putting me to bed. In a joint I was shocked how well it burned. Very white/ slightly grey ash and a very nice oil ring around it. Smoked super smooth and didn’t get too harsh towards the end.

Satisfied as usual with Kush Station, can’t wait to order again.See More

I was looking for some extracts and decided to go with some butter, I have had tons of shatter and after trying some Sunset live resin I wanted to keep exploring, so I grabbed 4 different grams of butter for $120, 10% chinese new year discount brought it ...to $108 total. They also sent me a nice sample of alien kush which was very nice!

The butters came in plastic jars, only labeled on the boxes but no biggie, put names on the bottoms with sharpie. All weighed to precisely just over a gram, all looking very very similar and smelled identical, I was weary but after trying the GCG, then comparing it to the Duke Nukem I noticed a massive difference in flavour and how they hit.

Both of the strains I’ve tried so far have dabbed super clean and very very smooth. No sticky lips no bad residue, and I haven’t even gotten to the best part.

This stuff wrecks me... The GCG had me talking a lot but stumbling over my words and talking quicker than the words were being processed, had some good laughs at dinner.

Duke Nukem hit just as hard, a very funky tingle in my head after dabbing it (Thats my high potency alert LOL), followed by an urge to play some videogames.

I have yet to try the PSC or the White Death so can’t comment on them but I have high expectations.
Would definitely buy again, $30/g is a more than fair price for what you’re getting.See More

I was looking for a little something to treat myself with for Christmas and picked up 3.5Gs of this, was going to get some KK but it was sold out as usual (lol). I can’t lie, as a AAA guy and someone who usually pays $100-$130 oz I would never pay this much for premium bud, but I was so nice as a ...little gift to myself. I smoked it in a bong almost the whole time, a super sweet and dank smell that goes right into the flavour, a clean burn that feels like a punch to the chest. The high was amazing, the description really hits home on the site, a imidiate numbness in the top of my head, distorted sounds and visuals, and an amazing relaxation feeling. Hits my brother like a truck, showed it to all my friends and they were coughing their lungs out and loved it.See More

Glad I bought this instead of shatter. I have been out of the extract game for a few months due to the drama and not wanting to put money towards it, recently got a new banger and bubble cap so wanted something to smoke in it.
This was a great choice, I wanted a hybrid but not sativa leaning, t...his is a 60/40 indica sativa and hits me nice and hard. Texture is like moist thick sand and it smells like sour candy. One small dab seems to last a lot longer than my friend who got some enigma shatter from Kush Station (still good stuff tho!), very smooth and easy on the lungs, hits clean and leaves my banger looking great after a dab, tastes comes through with that sour candy flavour. Hits me with a nice indica high but with enough energy to do what I want, a lot more potent than most extracts I’ve had at a similar price.

For $135 final price with shipping this was such a great deal for me, will 100% be getting another quarter when I run out.See More
