Really wish there was more of this in stock guys this stuff is insanely delicious. My OZ is consistently medium 2-3 gram nugs which I would describe as very slightly crispy on the outside although I put that down to the fact this spent over a week in Canada Post's hands. Nonetheless it is perfec...tly cured, producing an exquisitely smooth and delicious smoke that's already got me hooked.
Strong Forum Cut GSC taste with sharp notes of Raspberry. I don't taste much mint. Evenly balanced high that didn't leave me tired at all, to my surprise. Really glad I got enough to last a while.
Considering I got to use both the 15% off code in addition to the $50 off coupon, I'd say this was exceptional value for the money. I think they may have this promo going for another day or two so I'd check it out.
Was eyeing this one since it came in stock and I had noted that there were very limited quantities available. I waited and waited till there was one left and then I grabbed it, not wanting to miss out. It was my first time ordering from CWF so I used the intro coupon for 15% off. Placed my order on... Monday and it arrived today which I was really happy about!
I'm smoking it now, my review won't be that long but I wanted to briefly mention my thought on this strain as information out there seems to be pretty scarce.
I'll just go ahead and say this is not a crazy bag appeal strain. Looks solid for sure, mostly small bright green/orange buds. Looks good but I guess what I'm saying nobody is going to be blown away by how this weed looks. Buds were extremely fresh and well cured so definitely 0 complaints.
The smell, however, is where things get interesting. MASSIVE, MASASSIVE alcohol, VODKA f'n terps, along with definite strong Apricot terps. The name is not for nothing guys. This smells straight up like an Apricot liquor. I'm still trying to figure out if I actually like it (I'm not a big alcohol guy, mostly beer/wine if anything) but its damn unique, that's for sure.
The flavor reminds me a lot of Mimosa and NYC Diesel but less citrus. It has that sort of raw/fatty acid aroma (not sure if that makes sense?) Akin to when you eat a handful of hemp seeds (for those of you who've done that). I have been trying really hard to describe this flavor profile to friends for a while now but it's not easy. Pure diesel terps? Maybe that's what people call it. Not sure.
The effect is that of a very even hybrid so this definitely feels like a 50/50 or even likely a 60/40 sativa-leaning. Clear-headed.
This is one of those weird ones where the flower is obviously of very high quality and the effects are great but I'm not sure the taste is 100% for me. Some might love it. It could grow on me. I'm enjoying my first joint so far though.
This was my first time ordering from HGA. My friend orders from them a lot so I've already tried a few of their strains before. I ordered this on Black Friday along with 4 other strains. Those included a 50% oz of DCM and all the others (this one included) were 20% off. Not a bad first order to ...make!
I chose to review this one because I haven't seen too much love for it, at least not recently.
I already had it for about a week but am glad I waited to review it because my friend came by the other day with some Peanut Butter Breath so I got to.compare the two.
I personally find that both have a really nutty aroma but the Sherb cross even more so. Additionally, I find the PBB more savoury while the Sherb cross is more sweet-tasting, really how a PB cookie would taste. Suffice to say, the taste of this strain is a real pleasure. I'm a nut/PB freak so this is right up my alley.
As far as the effects go, what can I say, other than pure relaxation. Compared to the DCM I find this strain to be considerably more sedative. Let's put it this way - my partner and I were screaming in anger at each other and after taking a few puffs she just stopped and went to lie down.
The smoke itself is what you'd expect from a grow of this caliber - smooth and hard hitting at the same time. Ash burns peppery but on the lighter side for sure. Buds are mostly quite well cured (that is to say I've seen better but its up there - seems to be the case for a lot of HGA flower).
Don't want to comment on the value as I did get a discount.
Overall I rate this an 8.4/10: super tasty (in a subtle but not super subtle way) and very relaxing/verging on knock out-y. Seems to calm the mind really nicely but you also dont really feel like doing much after. The best time to smoke this would obviously be after dinner.
