I recently purchased an ounce of Chemdawg from LowPriceBud. It was a favourite strain of mine back in the day so I was excited to grab it again after so many years, and it hasn’t disappointed.

When I first opened the bag, I noticed that the smell was pretty muted. This was marked as a AAA...A- so I knew something had to be lacking, and I’m sure it was the smell. It still had a faint gassy/chemmy/sour aroma, but wasn’t very pungent out of the bag. The buds were a nice mixture of greens and purples, frosted in white trichomes. A good mixture of mediums with a small amount of smalls. Really nice bag appeal, and very sticky buds as well.

After a night in a jar the smell really came back out, still not the most pungent but a nice distinct chemmy/sour aroma, hard to describe but like those old school sour terps a good chemdawg or sour diesel would have. This translated to taste as well, it’s a very tasty smoke. As I said before the buds are really really sticky, and they grind up and burn well too. The potency is solid, a nice hybrid head high that tapers into a very lazy body stone. Good amount of painkilling ability too for a hybrid.

Overall I’d rate this Chemdawg an 8.8/10. It looks great, tastes great and has a nice strong hybrid high, the only thing missing out of the bag is a pungent smell. A really great pickup, and for the price I paid with discount coupon and points, an absolute steal. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who likes the strain.

I recently purchased an ounce of Pink Kush by Gasleak from LowPriceBud. I had originally ordered Peanut Butter Breath, but they contacted me to let me know it had sold out, so I chose Pink Kush by Gasleak as my replacement based on recommendations in the discord. I’m glad I did.

When I fir...st opened the bag, I was not very thrilled. Lately I’m used to strains bred for bag appeal, so the small and medium green buds weren’t doing much for me. The smell was strong and kushy, but not as pungent as I’d hoped. The buds are very dense though, and coated in white trichomes. The largest bud in my ounce was the one mainly pictured, weighing in at 4 grams, not a large bud so very dense.

Once I took it out of the bag and transferred it to a jar, my first impression started to change. I noticed how sticky it was; ridiculously. I squished a little bud fairly lightly and it stuck to my finger, despite shaking it a bit, until I removed it. Really, really sticky. After a few hours in the jar the smell really woke up too, very pungent old school kush smell with a floral undertone. Classic pink.

Despite the stickiness, I was still worried I’d be disappointed by the potency as I’ve heard mixed things about Gasleak. However my first toke of this sat me down for well over and hour, and went down smooth too. Tastes like an old school kush, very nice. It’s a very heavy indica; heavy eyelids, munchies, and almost involuntary sitting down are what I got from this. Heavy body high with a nice head high to accompany. Very lazy, forgetful, but still psychedelic high. I love it.

Overall I’d rate this a 9.5/10. It smells great, it smokes heavy in a good way, and it’s probably the second most potent stuff I’ve smoked all year. The only thing missing for me is bag appeal, which matters a whole lot less than potency. I’m very happy with this purchase, and I’m definitely interested in checking out other Gasleak offerings in the future.

I recently picked up a second ounce of Mendo Breath from LowPriceBud. I had already gotten an ounce and loved it, so I wanted to get more before it sold out. This second ounce I received was even nicer than the first, all medium and large dense purple buds, coated in white trichomes and sticky to th...e touch. It stinks of that lovely candy smell that Mendo has, and the high is really great. Long lasting heavy indica sedation, strongest strain I’ve had from LPB so far. I’ll probably keep picking it up as long as they keep sending buds this good. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased an ounce of Mendo Breath from LowPriceBud, and I’m very impressed. This stuff has it all, bag appeal, smell, taste, and potency.

The bag appeal is obviously great, with dense purple and green buds coated in white trichomes and fiery orange pistils. A few buds in the b...ag were more green and fluffy, but they were very sparse, it was mainly the very dense purple buds.

The smell is immediately very pungent, it smells like candy, like caramel almost. Stinks up a room quickly. That smell translates over to taste as well, making for a really nice smoke. It’s really smooth too, no coughing at all for me.

The potency is the real appeal here though, it’s a nice indica that puts you where you need to be quickly. Definitely one of the stronger strains I’ve tried this year, and just an absolute pleasure to smoke.

Overall I’d rate this a solid 9.5/10, an amazing offering from LowPriceBud. It smells great, looks great, and gets you very high. I’ll probably be ordering it again ASAP.

Purple Drank Breath - LPB - Early September

I recently placed an order for an ounce of Purple Drank Breath from LowPriceBud. I’ve never tried this strain before, or LPB, so this was my first time tryin...g both. I used my first timer discount to bring this down to just below 185. Good experience with LPB, they processed and shipped my order very quickly. Packaging is good, many layers of protection from any smell.

My first impression upon unpacking was that the bag appeal is ridiculously good. The buds are basically fully purple, save for the stems, with a nice amount of fiery orange hairs protruding. All this is blanketed in a thick layer of trichomes, giving the buds an immediately noticeable frosted appearance. My bag had mostly medium buds with some smalls, however the smalls are all solid and frosty, no wispy underdeveloped buds to be found here. One negative I noticed is the buds are quite dry. They shipped with a 62% integra but are still quite dry. Not crumble to the touch dry, but not super sticky anymore.

The smell is very pleasant, though unfortunately not as pungent as I would have expected. It’s definitely still a strong scent, but not the type that stains the room for hours after opening the jar. The nose comes across to me as sweet and funky, a distinct “purple” scent with a backend of weird breath funk. A really enjoyable combo, I just wish it were a little more pungent.

The taste is similar to the smell, fairly muted but distinct “purple” taste with a slight hint of breath funk. I like it. It smokes smooth as air too, so despite being dry it actually tastes pretty good and goes down really well.

With bud that looks this good, you have certain expectations for the high. I’m happy to say this lived up to mine. It’s immediately very relaxing, lowering your eyes and settling you down. Brings on hunger rapidly too. It’s potent and fast acting, but much more of a relaxing chill indica high than a slap you in the face, go to bed type. If relaxation is what you’re after, this strain does it well.

Overall I’d rate this a 9/10. It would be perfect if the bud was less dry and slightly more pungent, but this is still some amazing stuff. Looks great, smokes great, and the high is great. I fully recommend it to anyone who likes “purple” type strains.
