It’s hump day, perfect timing for a strain that’ll get you fucked up: Big Bad Wolf
Wow! Never heard of this strain before, but it got me baked outta my goddamn gourd. We’re talkin high school baked here folks - so high you pour a bowl of cereal and catch yourself putting the milk ba...ck in the cupboard baked.
Looks on this one are quite nice, great trichome coverage against some very light green shades that border on whitish in some places, haven’t seen buds like this colour since White Rhino back in the day. Nugs are perfectly cured, nice and dense, and very sticky when busting up.
Aroma is very sweet up-front with some notes of fuel and citrus in there too - had my nose hairs perking up big time when I cracked this tin. Very flavourful and smooth in a joint, you can taste it right down to the roach, which is always nice. Burns to airy, light-grey ash.
As I said before, this cultivar is super potent. I could feel the effects creeping up after about ¼ of the joint and I was absolutely mangled by the time I finished the sesh. Thought about putting it out half way, but then began questioning if I was man enough to be smoking this in the first place. So I persevered and ended up tearing through the pantry like some sort of crazed beast - a big bad wolf perhaps. Lol, couldn’t resist. But yeah, this one was lights out for me, love it!
Serving up another review! Today’s frozen confection: Sherbert
Good lord she’s a frosty one! This caked-up cultivar is truly a delight for the senses, beautiful looking trich-covered buds with nice little flourishes of purple tones throughout. Very nice density for this type of strain..., and the cure is also on point.
Very nice cross of Girl Scout Cookies x Pink Panties right here. Definitely getting the creaminess of GSC coming through with some fresh berry notes and a bit of conifer spice to it. There’s a real complexity to the flavour/aroma that’s difficult to express in words, but these are some of the best descriptors that I could think of.
Smokes beautifully. Really fucking smooth - I could puff of this stuff for hours straight if money were no object. Leaves a nice resin ring after about ⅓ of a joint and burns to damn-near white ash.
Effects on Sherbert are very well-balanced. Took some of this to a BBQ last weekend and definitely felt chill and mellowed out, but not so much that I wanted to recede into a corner and not talk to anyone - always a plus at any social event! Great all-rounder of cultivar that will certainly get you proper ripped without being comatose.
