This is my fourth and final strain to try from OnlyGas. They gave me a BEAUTIFUL 1g nug to test out.
Bud: The OnlyGas standard, tight densely packed buds covered in a snow blanket of trichomes.
Smell: Quite earthy with a strong gas aroma. Some citrusy notes i...n there as well.
The smoke: The smoothest of the four I tested. Almost like smoking air. So smooth that I actually thought it wasn’t pulling until smoke started billowing out of my lungs as I asked my girl for the lighter back. I found you get the same earthy almost piney undertones on exhale.
The High: If you’re a weed connoisseur, you have met your match. Picture Mario Kart Rainbow Road vibes… beep, beep, beep, DING! Immediately this punches you straight in the forehead with a super creative high that brightens colors and makes you feel light on your feet. Once settled in, you’re faced with a somewhat anxious feeling that makes it seem as if you’ve been awakened with love and positive vibes. Just when you think you’re riding this one out and reaching the finish line, you veer off onto another journey full of revelation. The only downside was a bit of dry mouth. Drink water, people. It’s good for you.

This is my second strain review for OnlyGasBC. They sent me about 1.5g of Black Kongo to test out. Here we go!
The bud: Like the Sugar Cane, this Black Kongo boasts a heavy dusting of trichomes throughout the entire bud. Nice tight buds that bust up super fat. Full ...of reddish-orange hairs.
The smell: Opening the bag, you immediately get a tropical fruity smell with a pungent skunky tone that smacks you in the face. As you bust this bud up it only gets more intense. Filled my entire house with a beautiful smell that lets you know we’re ready to party as you walk in the door.
The smoke: Light on the inhale, even lighter on the exhale. Sweet fruity flavors throughout the smoke with some of the whitest ash I’ve seen to date. Someone cured this bud properly. Painting the picture for you, I smoked this while walking the dogs on a 3km loop. You immediately feel the effects in your head and face, everything gets a little brighter and you feel your body succumbing to relaxation. Here’s where things got interesting. About halfway through the loop I could feel my body giving in to the effects. If it was socially acceptable to stop and lay on someone’s grass for the duration of this high, I would have. Finishing the walk seemed daunting. All I could think about was how there is no place I’d rather be than the beach right now. If you’re trying to max relax, enjoy some sun and shut your brain off to explore your mind and watch the stresses of life float away, this is the weed for you! And that’s exactly what I did. Posted up on the deck in a lawn chair and enjoyed every ray of sun that touched me. I’ll be honest, I am more of a productive cannabis user, but it’s nice to shut everything down for a bit and just enjoy the moment.
Alright. I received a 1g tester from OnlyGasBC of a few different strains. Decided to start with Sugar Cane, and I’ll tell you why. The smell. This one has a super unique smell, almost like licorice with some DANKY sour vibes.
The bud: These buds are PAKCED with trichomes and sports a b...eautiful dense structure with some beauty purple tones.
The smoke: On first toke it’s pretty smooth. However, I did find the tokes got smoother after the first couple. Definitely a spicy undertone on the exhale, with a diesel aftertaste.
The high: This one took my girl and I for a ride haha. At first it was almost a mind-numbing high that led to silence and deep thought, swiftly followed by productivity. I got more shit done than I planned on doing without even noticing. The creativity floating through my mind had me reorganizing my grow room and the rest of my house. I also spent a fair amount of time inspecting a random coleus plant in my house as well, thinking about how to salvage it over the winter months haha! If you’re searching for a bud that’s going to provide the everyday smoker with that little extra kick you’ve been looking for, this is the one.
Overall: These girls had it all. From bag appeal, to a smell that made you wonder what’s in store, to a high that will take you to that extra level you’ve been looking for. You won’t regret digging into this strain on the daily. My first strain from OnlyGas and so far they’ve knocked it out of the park. We’ll see what tonight’s strain will bring.
