I won a giveway on IG that gd does everytime they drop a new strain. This is my first time trying out GD as they are very popular and hyped up. Gd has always been a mom i've been curious to try but I see a lot hate being thrown at them so i didnt really want to risk paying high prices and getting something thats low quality. The original price for this bud goes for 70/q 130/ho 250/oz. But being that i won the giveaway i got store credit rewarded to me and i ended up paying 20 bucks for this half o ??. When you pay 20 bucks for a half ounce of exotics its very satisfying. Smell/Appearance: The first q jar i received came with two big beautiful nugs that i think weight around 3gs or more each and a small nug to make up the weight. I got 7.1gs the first jar i opened. The second jar i opened i received another colossal nug that weight around 4gs or a little more with two other medium nugs to make up the weight. I got 7.78gs from the second jar. So i received around a .9 extra which is amazing. The nugs are lighter green with darker purple tones to it. Caked out in trichomes from the outside of the nug to when cracking it open also. Beautiful classic sort of cookie or MAC sort of look to it imo. I've never tried sweet cookies n'or did i try kush mints before. Now the smell. The smell reminds me so much of MAC as well. A very sweet cookie dough sort of smell with a kush dankness to it as well. I guess this strain leans more towards the sweet cookie i guess. I really dont get no mintyness from this bud really. The kushyness of the bud is the closest thing i get to mint. Burn/Smoke/Taste: Now it burned white throughout the full spliff. I seen a couple posts before where people got some gd and it was burning darker than perferred. So im glad to see that wasn't my case. Oil rings forms the spliff while smoke rages on. Burns very slow also as quality cannabis should. Smooth smoke. Sometimes it could be harsh on the lungs but thats only if i been smoking too much throughout the day. Take brakes ladies and gentlemen trust me. But even im not good at following my own advise ?. Now lets talk about the taste. Its very tasty. The smell of the bud translates very well with the taste. A classic MAC taste to it like a sweet creamy cookie taste with a kush undertone. The taste is present through the whole spliff. Very happy i got this as i've been dying to get my hands on some MAC again. High: Potency is the only thing this strain lacks on. Its definitely not a hard hitter. But a good thing is i can smoke this and I wont feel anxious as a lot of strains i smoke sometimes boosts my anxiety. Its a very mellow relaxed sort of high thats great for daytime use as you wont feel burnt out. I feel it both in mind and body. Although ill say the high does last longer than some of the heavy hitters i've had. I feel like the MAC i tried from OWO had a similar sort of high and potency to it. I might've boosted a little more on that review but still am honest. Overall Ratings: Beautiful exotic fresh flower i have in my possession but slightly weaker on potency. Not to say it doesnt get you high because it definitely does but its not sedating as im very used to heavy sedating highs. But nonetheless thats the reason im trying new strains out because im getting tired of the gassy sedating strains i smoke all the time. For the value of the bud and the quality you recieve ill rate this bud a 8.7/10. Very beautiful and tasty smoke and all. i have been looking for is terpy weed. Im very happy in that aspect. But if i did pay 250 for the zip or 130 for the half zip i'd want for it to have a little more kick to it.
