# Silver Surfer -- Kootenay Craft -- Dec

**(19/20)Packaging:** Came in a small little plastic container perfect to fit a Quarter. It had a cool gold hand written label on the top identifying which strain as well as a white label with all the information about the bud o...n the side. In the pack also came a nice sized Boveda that I carried over onto other things after these containers where done.

**(15/20) Smell:** If I was blind folded and opened this container I would resemble the smell identical to a Sour Strain, it was super pungent and in your face but like a sour warhead candy it makes you pucker up. The smell was really generic and didn’t stand out to me that much for any unique smells.

**(20/20) Appearance/Texture:** Each bud was absolutely blasted with trichomes, top to bottom. The trichomes where a super bright shade of white that just really made the flower stand out, it was super sticky and stinky when you would start to rip the bud apart, this had to be one of my favorite strains from Kootenay for appearance. When I would grab some flower from the grinder to roll one up I would find it was sooo sticky you could almost roll a snowman.

**(15/20) Taste:** This strain had a really mild flavor and I got more the taste of “Smoke”. I feel that this is just the type of strain it is but how much it smelled I really thought it was going to have a stronger flavor.

**(20/20)Potency:** Sometimes you can put aside flavor for potency and thats what I think the trade off is with this flower, it hits like a train going full speed into a car parked on the crossing tracks. It absolutely got me blasted every time I smoked one, I had a little bit of a rough time getting over the flavor because I do like flowers that have the fruity terps. The buzz was a complete body and head buzz it started off with a heavy body buzz that slowly transitioned into a mental buzz that could keep you entertained for a few hours doing whatever.

**Final Thoughts:** Not a fan of the flavor however a huge fan of the buzz. Would love to see this genetic move forward with some other strains that have better flavors, so in the end you can combine potency with taste.

**(17/20)Packaging:** Came in a small glass jar that fit the quarter perfectly, size was great for moving onto other things when you are done with them. Bud was fresh upon opening still sticky and stanky. The jar has a small printed label on the... front in a large font that easily let you know what strain was inside.

**(19/20) Smell:** As soon as you open the jar to this strain you are greeted with a tangy gas smell that just fills your sinus. I opened Mandarin cookies originally at the same time and my nose instantly wanted to find out which was the jar that was giving the crazy smell and it was this one! The smell is super skunky with an undertone similar to a sour diesel yet slightly fruity like a “Punch” strain

**(18/20) Appearance/Texture:** The buds where of all different shapes and sizes, the bud really only carried the brighter lime green / frosted bright green color palette to it. The bud was just coated with a frosty bright trichome that was super photogenic! The bud was super sticky when you would go to break it apart and it would just leave your fingers stickin together. After you busted the bud up it would go into a rough grind due to the denseness of the nugs and how sticky they where. The bud would roll up perfectly and you wouldn’t need to fight with it. Surprisingly to how sticky the flower was it burned with NO problems and left a super bright white ash.

**(18/20) Taste:** The first joint that I smoked was super easy on the lungs and left me with a soft vanilla sweetness that was super tasty but as I exhaled I got the tangy gas flavor that you would smell coming from the jar

**(19/20)Potency:** One joint would get me roasted and toasted. The buzz was super mental and would really slow you down and focus you on whatever the task at hand was. I much preferred this smoke for later at night and would push more towards the Mandarin Cookies I got from True Craft for the day time. The buzz was super laid and went super well with a good dinner meal, it just seemed as if it helped you relax after a good bite.

Final Thoughts: This strain really would relax me, I would find myself watching more TV shows and sitting back relaxing opposed too cleaning the house or going to the gym. This is a night time smoke.

(**17/20**) Packaging / Customer Service: Shipping pack was well sealed and was in a thick cardboard box keeping all the glass jars safe. Product packaging is what you would expect for sauce, the glass is around 2-3mm thic...k and the lid stays nice and sealed all the time, though the lip is extremely annoying. Sticker on the side indicating which strain is inside is clear and sort of hard to read, wish this would be changed. The customer service received from HVE is top notch, orders always shipped out instantly, you have nothing to worry about ordering from these guys they make the process a breeze so much so I increased the rating on this because of how amazing their customer service actually is.

(**18/20**) Smell: A tiny bit of gassyness with a definite sweetness to it. Not exactly what I was expecting from this straight Indica but extremely nice on the nose, one of my new favorites from HVE for sure.

(**18/20**) Appearance/Texture: Almost has that ’snowcone’ type of texture to it, and when you break apart the top layer the lighter color comes through, almost a budder but not quite, holds its shape a little too much.

(**17/20**) Taste: Just want to keep dabbing the sweet taste left in your mouth after a dab is mouth watering, could smoke a jar of this in one night easily if not careful just going back in for more of that sweet taste.

(**18/20**) Potency: Very nice high, In my top 10 HVE sauces for sure. Only a little bit of sleepyness to this one, still very nice - unique smelling and high for a straight Indica.

**(20/20) Smell:** The smell on this bud made me put everything else I had open aside and roll one up right away. It had a fruity undertone covered with a gassy smell more relatable to a unique strain like Black Roses or Dosi Pie.

**(20/20) Appearance/Texture:** Light purple, dark purple, bright green, dark green the whole damn spectrum of colors that could be on the plant are on this bud and it looks phenomenal. The bud is frosted top to bottom with blotches of lime green and fluorescent purples blasted in patches. Scatterd is a bright orange pistol that makes a statement veining itself through the nug. The bud was so dense it almost resembled a brick, but was still like Styrofoam when you snapped it apart. Might I had that the 7g container I got was 1 nug that weighed to 7.3 , this was hella Impressive.

**(20/20) Taste:** One of the cleanest, smoothest fruity flavors I have ever had on a flower. I actually ended up grabbing another container because I just loved this strain so much, it was super clean and burned with such a snow white ash, you would get a subtle hint of the fruity terps which would then be followed by a slight kushy flavor as you exhaled. I couldn’t figure out the fruit it resembled. I sat here sniffing the jar for almost an hour now its fruity I just can’t tell you what one.

**(20/20)Potency:** Really enjoyed this strain, its labelled as a hybrid and it really does smoke like one. Initially the buzz gives you a huge jolt of energy and mellows down to a more mild buzz that lets you know it’s time to smoke again. I actually really found the buzz to be awesome to smoke when you have friends around. Everyone seemed to be more talkative and outgoing which was super nice compared to the usual lazy mellowed out Indicas always floating around.

**Final Thoughts:** Looks amazing, has a smooth smoke and taste amazing this bud really shows what Kootenay can do ! Hands down one of my favorite strains I have received so far I actually ended up putting in a second order to grab more due to this (Probably the reason its sold out <3) !

(**17/20**) Smell: I really get the orangy-citrus smell from this jar I would lean it more towards a Tangerine odor because it slightly has a sour smell to it, followed after the subtle fruity smell is the cookie smell everyone knows and loves it had that deep pungent odor that would linger for at least 2 full inhales after smelling the jar.  I had Sugar Cookies from SG Recently and this strain strongly resembled the odor that came from that strain.

(**16/20**) Appearance/Texture: This bud was completely on the green spectrum ranging from light to dark greens top to bottom with a light orange pistol that was dominant on the heads of the bud.   Every bud was almost “Arrow-Head” shaped, even though this bud felt “drier” on the outside but the inside was sticky,  it was SO STICKY I cant even describe how well this flower rolled it went into a tube shape without even needing a paper and still smoked absolutely perfect,  the resiny THC that coated the bud top to bottom absolutely let you no it was ready to punch hard.

(**20/20**) Taste:  Wow what an amazing mandarin flavor I take back what I said about the smell being more like a tangerine and slightly sour, the taste that comes through is a sweet orangy mandarin flavor that you end up licking your lips too.  I was absolutely blown away because the bud did not carry a heavy smell of citrus type terps, the smell was there but not as strong as it comes threw in the taste.

(**18/20**)Potency: What an awesome bud for the morning, what a killer smoke the flavor just sets you up in the right mood and gets you ready to combat the day.    You don’t get the hard core eye closure and the buzz is more of a boost of energy this strain really smokes like they thought out the genetics of a few solid sativa strains and made a super sativa.     Normally I find myself super lazy with some hardcore indicas, this strain however I felt myself more motivated to do random stuff.   I found myself dabbing some sauce in the background and letting the anti-anxiety effects and clear mind of the Mandarin Cookies take place in the back round its an awesome combo.

Final Thoughts: This is one of those strains that you are glad you grabbed even though the bag appeal isn’t quite there.  The flavor and smooth smoke really makes up for the appearance,  This smoke was super enjoyable and the flavor came through instead of the resin oily nastiness that usually builds up.   Even though the bud was sticky it burned really well and the ash was whiter than ever !

(**18/20**) Smell: Very mild chopped garlic smell its so mild that it almost blends into the skunky smell and decapitates to the point its faintly there. This bud had a more subtle smell that was more pleasant to smell, opposed to some of those gassy strains that punch you in the nose and are almost offensive.

(**20/20**) Appearance/Texture: Get your winter tires on boys because this shit is frosty as fuck. This bud is just caked top to bottom I even opened this jar went to my email and sent a message off to GG saying ’This can is why I order from you’ This strain is caked top to bottom and due to it being so dry and fluffy the can was packed to the brim ! \*\_\* After breaking some of the bud apart it almost felt unreal it was so soft and sticky at the same time. What a unbelievable strain

(**18/20**) Taste: Thank god no garlic flavor. Love garlic with food, not sure about in my weed ahaha. However the flavor it gave was more of a sweet flavor kinda had a Sativa taste to it. The bud burned extremely well and after one large haul the smoke that you got because of how soft and light the bud was you would get a super milky drag and thick smoke.

(**20/20**)Potency: Potent as all hell. Absolutely loved this strain it was a great counter part to Dosi Pie. Dosi was so in your face and super potent this strain just trailed behind and was the more mild version with a much more relaxed high that allowed you to still be productive and have motor skills. I would 1000% grab this strain again in fact I went to grab some more and it was sold out X\_X!

(**18/20**) Smell: What a crazy over powering smell, normally I open two strains at a time and work threw them and when I thought Black Garlic had a crazy odor I opened this container and jeeeezeee The smell is just so pungeont and in your face it is 100% a skunks ass.

(**18/20**) Appearance/Texture: Crazy dense nugs with little heads that pertrude with a bright green almost white inside. The buds where so greasy and sticky it almost reminded me of a LSO and this was not something I had seen from GG befor. The purples that where hidden through this bud where just trippy to look at. The stickyness made it roll super well and it would almost roll into a cylender without needing a paper. Crazy stickyyyy.

(**17/20**) Taste: The flavor was extremely skunky. However with the flavor profile and how strong it was you new this was gonna hit well.

(**16/20**)Packaging: The packaging was awesome they came in bottles that were easy to identify strains. Each bottle came with a 1g Boveda pack inside keeping all nugs at the full potential smelling awesome and feeling fresh to the touch! ...Customer service was awesome.

(**16/20**) Smell: What a super crazy aroma from this strain, it almost had a mild smell of Pug Breath from Kootenay. The smell was sour but skunky, it also had some sort of sweet smell in there almost a vanilla, but not.

(**16/20**) Appearance/Texture: This bud was super spuratic and had little head blowing out everywhere from within the nug, in similarity to the Crunch Berry from Kootenay it was slightly airy due to this. This bud was a more dull green just covered with a white crystal from top to bottom. The bud was a little squishy and when it was busted up felt a little drier.

(**20/20**) Burn: Amazing burn nothing to say.(For people asking why the rating is always 20/20. If it burns good; which is going to be most of the time with these high grade strains. it is most likely always going to be a 20/20 UNLESS there is a problem with the burn)

(**19/20**) Potency/Taste: Gelato is my favorite strain but it seems to be a strain you need to hunt for as a lot of shitty quality of this bud float around however SG came threw for me and delivered the Gelato buzz I appreciate and look for. After a few hauls you’ll already feel relaxed and if you where having a rough day then this bud just snaps you right out of it and helps you move forward some people need this kinda herb to help and thats why I love this strain so much. The taste was awesome really had that Sour Pug Breath taste from Kootenay but it was unique in its own way by having the sweet ’Gelato’ flavor in the background.

(**17/20**) Smell: There isnt a full blown strawberry nose to this strain but it does have a fruity undertone that resembles strawberry. On top you have that potent smell that just fills your nose as with most of HVE’s crazy sauces.

(**18/20**) Appearance/Texture: This is a more brighter yellow opposed to some of the more darker orange colors that came around a few strains recently, it is super easy to work with as it scraps on to the tool with a little bit of grittiness, you can feel the small crystals when you drive your tool threw the bottom of the jar.

(**17/20**) Taste: Wow you can really get a nice flavor from this strain its a lighter flavor compared to other strains like Romulan or Death Bubba however it still carries a wonderful flavor that I end up leaving on the e-nail until its completely gone just to savor ever last bit.

(**17/20**) Potency: Extremely potent I find this strain to carry a nice hit to it that leaves you with slanted vision as well as a super chillax buzz that would leave you meditating just watching netflix.

# Chemo - Speed Greens - Nov

(**16/20**)Packaging: The packaging was awesome they came in bottles that were easy to identify strains. Each bottle came with a 1g Boveda pack inside keeping all nugs at the full potential smelling awesome and feeling fresh to the touch! Customer service was a...wesome.


(**10/20**) Smell: As with the Fukushima Sauce I found this strain to have a very dull odor compared to the recent strains I have had. It was a mild skunky smell but nothing overpowering.


(**18/20**) Appearance/Texture: Crazy huge Christmas tree shape just covered with crystal, honey oil colored pistols blended in with the darker earthy greens. That being said when you break the nug apart you are blasted with a huge scent of skunk as well as tons of bright green. This bud felt a little more loose then other strains especially compared to the Blue Dream.


(**20/20**) Burn: Burned really well nothing to say !


(**16/20**) Potency/taste: This strain was a nice mild smoke I actually new I had to do something in the morning so I ended up saving the second joint for then, knowing the buzz wasn’t going to last as long. The buzz was super killer while it was kicked in just wish it stayed around a littttle longer ! The taste was slightly generic from ’AAAA’ flower and didn’t really have any terps I could call out.

Final Thoughts: You ever got a buddy that goes ’Awe I dont like Concentrates its too strong’ Well this is the strain you provide them to completely change there mind this would be a perfect smoke for someone considering getting into concentrates you can get a feel for the product without getting completely blasted to the moon!
