Been waiting for the DMC to come back in stock because I was in love with the first order.

The bag appeal is slightly less impressive than the first time I ordered it, with these buds being a little more airy and smaller, but that was in the description on their site. Smell wise, it’s e...xactly the same of the first batch that I got. Taste wise (used through dry her vaporizers) the terpene profile is amazing. Minty, sweet, with an OG like undertone that makes me keep wanting to buy it. While labelled as a hybrid, I do find this one to be more on the indica side of the spectrum. I feel this one always starting right in my head, then moving down in to a nice body stone.

Overall, I’d give this batch a solid 8/10. This is my third order with HGA and so far I haven’t been let down.

I’m reviewing the Gmints strain, purchased from HGA. This came up as a flash sale: small/popcorn nugs for $119 an ounce.

Right out of the bag, the aroma is pure Gelato. I’ve looked online and have read many different strai...n genetic variations, but to me, it smells like a pure gelato strain. The buds were a little on the dry side, but super sticky and just smelt amazing. I put the ounce in a jar with a 62% boveda and have already noticed an improvement.

Through vaporizers, the terps are very strong and you get that “terp tongue” at lower temps. The taste is very gelato, but with a hint of whatever genetic it’s crossed with. I really, really enjoy the taste, and I think HGA was spot on when saying it was a terp hunter strain.

Effects wise, I feel that this batch is leaning majorly on the sativa side. I get a very heady high, and while it does come over the body, it does not couch lock or make me tired in the slightest. A great strain for day but I actually really like it for long midnights where I need to be medicated but awake and alert.

In terms of bud size, the buds are mostly on the small to medium-small size, with really only a minimal larger popcorn size.

Overall, I really like this strain and would order more if still in stock. If you like super terpy strains, Gmints is it.

First time ordering through HGA.

The Death Mint Cookies came in small-medium buds. I picked up an 1/8th to sample it, but I now actually wish I got more of this strain. The Death Mint Cookies has a scent and taste that is a little gassy, but it has that GSC tone to it, and this made me p...retty happy. The buds are sticky and hard to grind up even in my Brilliant Cut grinder.

The high that I got from this strain is near perfect. I love hybrid highs, especially ones that I feel between the eyes + the numbing effects, and this strain gave it to me. As opposed to their Death Chocolate Mousse, this strain did not make me tired at all really, nor did it give me insane munchies; I got a very strong high without the typical indica effects. This is the kind of strain that I would choose for a lazy afternoon of video games, with the intention of being awake all day and possibly still being able to get out and do things.

Overall, I will be definitely coming back to HGA for more of this DMC, preferring it a lot over the DCM, but taste and smell wise they are pretty similar.

First time ordering through HGA; figured I would give them a try, especially their two popular strains (DCM and DMC).

The Death Chocolate Mousse came in popcorn-small nugs, which was disappointing considering I didn’t pay for the smalls, so I was hoping for small-medium buds as the web...site says.

The smell out of the bag is gassy, with a sweet undertone. Through vaporizers, the taste is skunky and hash, but no, it does not taste like chocolate mousse lol some redditors claim this but it isn’t true, at least not to my tastebuds.

Where this strain shined the brightest were the effects. A 0.3 bowl in the sticky brick just kept producing vapour, with the herb very very slowly going from green to brown: this is indicative to me of a strain with a high THC count. The effects were pure indica and I was couch locked in no time with crazy munchies. This is definitely one of the strongest indicas that I’ve had in a while.

Overall, the Death Chocolate Mousse is a very good strain, but for the price I paid for 7g, I would have preferred to not have popcorn buds. I will definitely be ordering through HGA again as this first order worked out, but I’m not throwing my hands up and saying that this lives up to the insane hype it gets around here. Very good but not out of this world amazing.

Received this in just over a week from BC to Ontario. The strain is labelled as Grape Grandaddy Purple, yet I’ve only ever have come across GDP so the grape aspect is a new one for me. The buds are gorgeous and have purple hues throughout; very musky/purple smell to it.

I used a few dif...ferent vaporizers to try this one out, and I was getting a lot of a red wine taste. It doesn’t have that candied grape taste like violator Kush or purple candy, but it definitely is grape in a way. The high is very potent and has that body tingle feeling. Rated at AAA, the price is really good for what you get.

Not really too familiar with Tom Ford Pink Kush, but I’ve had many different Pink Kush variants, so I had an idea of what to expect. This strain has a very gassy smell and taste to it, borderline diesel to me. Through vaporizers, the taste is very gassy and skunky, but the sweetness of the Pink Ku...sh that I was expecting wasn’t really there. The effects are decent, like a 7/10, and I found myself feeling relaxed and really hungry shortly after. Overall, I would say it’s a good, sticky + dense + gassy type strain if that’s what you’re after, but it didn’t hit that “pink” spot for me.

Received this ounce of Cotton Candy Kush from LPB, priced at $115 an ounce. Shipped out on Friday and received Monday. Absolutely thrilled with how fast my last few orders have come.

I ordered an ounce of CCK after sampling a gram of it on my previous order. For a “budget” ounce, I�...�m blown away by how gorgeous the buds are. Super dense, sticky and coated in trichomes, with a very vanilla and gassy Kush scent. The smell translates to the taste, and it reminds me of a GG crossed with an OG/Pink Kush. A very vanilla/candied taste with a gassy exhale. My ounce weighed at 30grams and came with a humidity pack, so I’m pretty happy about that. The high of the Cotton Candy Kush is felt right in the head at first and then it flows in to a body stone. I think this is one of the more underrated strains that I’ve had.

This is a review for the Romulan strain from LPB rated at AAAA. I ordered on Friday and received it from BC to ONT on Monday, which is really surprising with Canada Post.

I’ve been waiting for a legit Romulan strain, so I went in to this one ready to be super critical. The nose on this ...Romulan has that citrus/musky smell that I instantly recognized as true Romulan. The buds are coated in trichomes, and pulling pieces apart I was happy with the stickyness, especially for a hybrid. The taste and terps were spot on for Romulan, bringing me back to the Romulan strains I had a few years back from THCdelivery and KS.

My highlight on this one is the high. This batch of Romulan gave me that euphoric head buzz, but the length of the high is insane. I vaped about 0.3g in a Sticky Brick vaporizer, and the high lasted for almost 5 hours, which most AAAA last me 2-4. While it has a larger price tag on this, I do think the quality and length of high are top tier. Overall, one of the higher quality Romulans that I’ve had.

I’m reviewing the UK cheese strain rated at AAA+ from LowPriceBud. Shipping took about 5 days from BC to Ontario and I can’t really complain with the recent CP climate. I bought only a gram of this one since I’ve been reading a few disappointing reviews on this one, with people claiming that i...t isn’t UK Cheese. I used a Volcano, Enano and Sticky Brick to test this one out.

Right out of the bag, I’m picking up on a creamy, gassy type scent, and the bud is very, very bright green and dense. Once busted up, I can pick up a very faint cheesy smell, but it’s there!

Through the vaporizers, I’m picking up on a smooth, gassy taste, but the undertone of cheese is personally there for me. I’ve had legit UK cheese from a few MoMs over the past few years, and while this one is probably the weakest in terms of “cheesiness”, it’s a very high quality bud. The high is very hybrid, and I found myself feeling relaxed yet had a good amount of energy to start getting to work.

I do believe that this is legit UK Cheese, but it’s just a more muted phenotype. I would be happy if I had more of it, but I don’t think I’m going out of my way to order more.
