Bluefin Tuna, AAA+

Copped this $40/Q during a price drop sale. Kinda steep for a trip, but I've wanted to try it since I saw it in their store. Came in one big giant 4 gram nug, and one medium bud. The trim isn't anything ...special, but more impressed with the size I got. My favorite part from this is the heavy heavy smell of tuna and diesel emanating. Not just hints, but loud pungent gas smell. One of the most powerful smelly buds that came to me from HGA. It wasn't overly dry when it arrived.

This was a little rough on the throat, ngl. Had me coughing up a storm. The ash is grayish-white. The high is alright. Has a strong buzz on its peak but tapers into soberness after a half hour. Overall, its average high.

Bubba Skunk, AAAA-

Tagged $24/Q, I got this after missing the ounce sale, only to be restocked Wednesday night :( This kush is a cross of Bubba Kush and the famous Skunk. Came quarter coin-sized to smalls, with stems, and poor trim. For the 79/o tag, it's not bad. For a quad rating, it's kinda bad. However, these were still covered in trichs with a hint of gas/kush-y smell (just a hint, not overly pungent). These came to me kind of dry, and proceeded to lock it in the dark with an Integra for 24 hours before doing this review. Breathed some life into it with the nose improving a bit.

White ash, and I am in love with the taste of exhale. Lil harsh to the throat, but not as much as Bluefin. She's pretty above average potency. Has a nice indica melt on a couch or your bed. Pretty average duration. Not bad!

Value: 10/10! Awesome deal

Animal Face, AAAA-, is a sativa-dom cross of Face Off OG and Animal Mints. Bought 7g for $40 because I have been dying to try this strain but I got too much on my stash, haha

The quarter came in one big eighth bud... pictured above, with the rest decent-size. Has a gassy kush smell, and came a little damp. She's a little fresh and sticky, and gunks up the grinder a little bit. The trim is alright as I see some leaves but it is caked with trichs.

Smoking it isn't smooth but not bad - a little harsh to the throat but not so much that it hurts. Very lemon /citrus after-taste. Delicious sativa terps that I usually find in Red Congos. White ash. Has a very in your face high that didn't last as long as I wanted. Leaves more to be desired, personally.

I got 14g of flower in two 7.15 bags which dried up the cannabis a little. I was a little disappointed because it even said the flower was from his personal stash labeled in the bag. After a week with Integra, however, this bud seemed to breathed a new aroma - heavy heavy pink kush. That creamy, Pink gas diesel that I love smelling from Pinks. Great-looking fox-tails on some buds with trichomes everywhere.

The first day I got this, I tried a small joint which gave me the classic pink kush high but a little less potent. After a week, however, this is one of the best pink kush I have ever had. I have a high tolerance and never thought this was gonna hit as good as I thought it would be. This kicked my ass into bed at 5pm with those euphoric chills throughout your body that I have experienced the first time I tried weed. I don't know why this only got 4th place ?

The ash was white, and my throat feels so good smoking it. Very smooth and flavorful on the exhale. Nowadays, my throats been so sensitive to weed that everything is harsh. Not this, though.

They currently have a new batch in his site and am thinking of copping some more. Definitely top 5 weed of this year for me.

1) Scout Master, AAA

Sativa-dominant cross of GSC x Master Kush going 25/7g or 89/o. The first thing I notice is the PISS smell that's so putrid coming from this. It's not moldy ...or anything - I think it's just really powerful terps. Great trim, and great size. Dense, and full of orange hairs.

It didn't produce a clean white ash, but it did have a chemical citrus-y after-taste. I got the sativa high fast - focused, and happy without the sedation. However, it did mellow out pretty fast which is the only thing I did not like. For a high-tolerant smoker like me, this is great as a pick-me up after a powerful, potent smoke. For your first smoke of the day after work, it is lackluster, at or below average high.

2) Rockstar Tuna, AAA

Indica-dominant cross of Rockstar x Tuna going 25/7g or 89/o. Rock-hard bud that's a little dry. Covered in trichomes and smells of hay.

Salt and pepper ash that is not so bad to the throat. The high on this was your average indica - couch-lock and sedative. It tapers into a mellow body buzz after a long time.

3) Pink Kush, AAA

Indica strain for 25/7g or 79/o. A little leafy with a hint of pink smell. Good-looking sized bud but a tad dry.

Salt and pepper ash that is a little harsh on the throat. It's a bit of a creeper in terms of pink kushes but she gets there. Sedative, and stoner happy for up to half an hour. Makes you want to smoke more of it.

Personal Rating: AAA+

4) Death Bubba, AAA

Indica-dominant for 30/7g or 99/o. Good-looking chunks with a great trim, and good cure. Has a muted smell of hay, but other than that there's no prominent smell. Good trichome coverage on the bud.

Great relaxing high. Perfect in aiding you with a relaxing nap time in the middle of the day. Love the high on this one. Classic Death Bubba!

AAAA: $60/o. Mostly quarter-sized to kernels. Has a muted kush smell. Nice colours with some very prominently purple. Some a little dry than others. I think these are mostly indica. I tried a 1g joint and got a really nice citrus-y aftertaste on the exhale. Gr...eat mellow, stone high.

AAA: $35/o. The second picture above is almost the size of my palm. Not smalls at all. My ounce came 40% tops, 40% mediums/quarter-coin sized, 20% popcorn/kernel. Has a loud smell of kush, pine and weed. Had a 1g joint and couldn't find the difference from AAAA buds.

This first time I tried PP was from a Weedposters sample and I thought it was a great euphoric indica. Since then, I've been looking for this strain every time I visit Mom's. I've been eyeing this strain for a... sale on HGA and got it thru their Halloween sale. 7g of my half was big fat colas pictured above and 7g were smalls to mediums. It has a very floral smell with a hint of gassy sweetness of pink at the back. It is full of trichomes and it is a sight to watch when you're about to grind it. I have been binging on pinks recently and am so stoke to add this gem on my current set.

High was euphoric and buzzy that lasts for moderate time about/up to 40 min. Reminds me of Pink but not quite as heavy. It does lighten my mood, and improve my minor body aches. It's not the sample I've gotten from WP but I would chalk it up thru high tolerance. The first time is always gonna be the best time.

Funky Charms (FC) is definitely funky. This is my first time trying an Enigma flower and I am so impressed with it. Vaping or smoking this was a delight - white ash, very easy on the throat, gassy diesely exhale, and a nice ”...nutty” aftertaste. The high on this was mostly head-high - gets you stoned as hell, hazey, and forgetful. Really wipes away anxiousness and paranoia which makes me really happy. Great effects!!! This was a welcome high from all the gassy body highs from most indica. According to HGA, FC is a mix of Grease Monkey and Rainbow Chip, a strain I've never heard of. It does remind me of GG4 from its Grease parent.

Visually, FC is pretty stunning. Dark purps all over itself which is nice to show off. Some of them has a nice fox tail shape. It has a really flower-y, sugary smell mixed with a background of alcohol. Very pungent just cracking the jar. Minimal stems, and a little messy on the trim on some but I'm fine with it because the leaves look pretty purple.

Value: I got this for $88/ho shipped and I am more than happy with the price. 9/10

This was my first time trying this strain. It was rated AAA+ hybrid cross of GMO and Sophisticated Lady. I got mostly small to medium sized buds and I thought it was trimmed nicely. It has a gas/diesel notes to it but mostly tha...t gas aroma. The high was alright. If it was a bit more potent, this would have been a quad: great looking buds, great smell, but it leaves me desiring for more.

This is my second time with EBC and was glad I did. The last time I got this, It was leafy, and popcorn-sized. This batch was dense, medium-sized, with the same amount of hairs as last time. It has a nice kushy smell when opene...d. Nice white ash as well.

The high is great - buzzy, indica high that really relaxes your mind and body. You can feel a slight tingle above the eyes and on your forehead. Love the high on this.

Value: 80/14g, 5/5 value!

Quality: Graded AAAA-, I would say it is 7/10 due to the leaves and some fluffed buds among the batch.
