Stable with a pungent, woody lemon taste that leaves the room perfumed with terpenes on exhale. Melts without residues and feels smooth on the throat. Good hybrid potency that fades into an easy going indica with minimal burnout.

(Lemon Skunk x Cookies and Cream)

Thick sauce with intensely sweet, lemon cookies aroma. Extreme level of terps that sticks through a whole dab leaving little behind to clean up. Fast acting sativa dominant effects felt around the head and eyes, noticeably lasting and never fails to put me in a good mood. Compared to FSE this has more flavour but maybe not quite as hard hitting. I see why it can go for $50/g normally and regret haven’t not picked up more.

(Girl Scout Cookies x Face Off OG)

Cracks easily due to a thin and glass like consistency that sent tiny shards flying when opening the parchment. Complex pungent and earthy taste at first but then more floral and sweet. All fully dewaxed strains so no surprise that it melts into a lightly coloured oil without residues. Marked as an indica pheno but feels more like a traditional hybrid strain, potent relaxation and pain relief that can still be enjoyed during the day without completely slowing down.

I believe 91s made up strain names are ’tube mixes’ however I’m unable to find what Cha: Bt x Mz (No.5 Concerto) actually is. I also have: Strawberry Jelly, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Country Time, Purple Wreck and Chocolate Ganache so let me know if there’s one you’d like to see reviewed.

However I’m not a fan of their shatter packaging made using glue and dyed cardboard as it has a smell which covers the shatter’s. It can be difficult to read purple text over a black background though everything does look fancy, a case of form over function I think.See More

Hard and dense with darkened hairs but not enough to assume mold until I went to grind the top part of the largest nug. It was slightly too big for a grinder so I pulled the extra hard chunk in half and found white stuff.

CCS offered to send replacement samples if desired and pulled it a couple days after being notified.

Gelato - Full album

Small dry and hard buds with a close trim. Shared an off putting background smell with the other samples and remained mostly terpless after jarring with bovedas for a few days. Predominantly harsh and unpleasant smoke with white ash, effects were mellow though after 30 minutes I noted feeling relaxed without couch lock which I would consider to be its high point.

GSC - Full album

Solid 2.4g nug that was lacking distinctive terps. Jar time with a boveda did not improve much, the density made pulling it apart feel odd and showed a pale centre. Little smell that I would expect or flavour but the sativa leaning hybrid effects were noticeably strong. I’d anticipated a better smoke as one of their higher end strains at the time.

Full Spectrum Honey Oil oz - Full album

Thick oil with a consistency similar to distillate. Strong smelling sweet terps with hops and spice that can also taste earthy and minty. Mostly smooth and melts clean with zero residues.

The heavy indica effects hit hard, droopy eyes and sleepy thoughts make any task difficult. A high dosage during the day is a recipe to become comatose for most of one. Roughly 50mg in a MCT oil tincture provides a noticeably stronger edible experience than 100mg of my THC distillate tinctures or edibles I’ve tried previously. Total cost of material to make a 450mg THC full spectrum MCT tincture was $12 where as OCS wants $80 for 400mg.

Honey oil is a versatile activated THC product that can be used in a variety of ways including vape carts and making edibles. I’m finding it to be an improvement over distilled THC oil of a similar cost, with better effects and flavour due its full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes. Recently restocked with a price drop so it’s below 18/g for the full jar.

Strawberry Cough 1g sample - Full album

Smells of sweet and musky strawberries with some extra leaf. Broke this up by hand and a surprising amount of sticky hand hash built up after just 1g. Light fruity taste in the smoke with some coughing and burned with a mostly grey ash. Notable hyrbid potency that strengthened over 20 minutes and had my eyes feeling sensitive to light.

Glueberry 1g sample - Full album

Fruity, earthy, berry smell and caked with crystals. Flattened slightly but otherwise traveled well in its mylar bag and was ready to smoke smooth with a subtle earthy-berry flavour. Enjoyed sharing it in a joint with others and can’t really judge potency for that reason.

Platinum Cookies 1g sample - Full album

Sharp, sweet cookies smell which improved further after being jarred with a humidity pack. My grinder’s out of commission so it got the rough, hand chop causing the ash to look darker than it might have but smoked clean and with smooth flavour. Best example of a cookies strain I’ve tasted and potency was on point providing strong hybrid effects that don’t debilitate.

Sour Lemon OG 1g sample - Full album

Mid level sour, earthy, lemon terpenes with dusty crystals on breakup and a more fluffy bud structure. Good humidity out of the bag and smoked smooth. I rolled 2x 0.5g pinners which had light and airy flavour despite their tiny size, unsure of potency for that reason.

Red Congo - Album

A little dry and fluffy with an uplifting floral citrus smell. The red haired buds were stored in their tubes as a test for the supplied containers and dried out further over 2 weeks. Not a substitution for glass but an effective child-proof lid.

Joints burned quick with white ash and mostly smooth, flavourful smoke. The pure sativa left higher tolerances feeling happy, uninhibited and anxious to move. Lower tolerance users felt nearly drunk, one was uncomfortable and dabbed CBD isolate to recover. Little to no body high means the strain can go underappreciated, best saved for daytime adventures or social gatherings.

Purple Hashplant - Album

Smelled of earthy, herbal hash out of the tube. Also a little dry but with a fairly dense bud structure that sheds dusty crystals on touch. Very white ash when burned and though it’s a plain terpene profile the flavour is noticeable and makes for a pleasant smoke. Underwhelming potency at first with a relaxing, body focused indica creeping in over time.

Pineapple Express shatter - Album

Hard chunks of shatter made it difficult to flatten but I attempted to do so using parchment paper and some heavy books. Stable and cracks easily despite remaining unrefrigerated over warmer nights.

Little discernible smell but the vapour tastes of pineapple flavouring and lingers in the mouth. Minor residue left on quartz when dabbing at mid-lower temperatures but cleans up easily. The sativa rush comes on strong putting me in a daze but dissipates into mostly couch lock with active thoughts.

Blue Nuken shatter - Album

Very stable blueberry and pine shatter that breaks easily in hot temperatures after being flattened. Enjoyable taste that reminds me almost of a flavoured distillate. Minor residue left on the quartz but major indica effects felt on the couch. Hard to focus and easy to pass out.

Shipped in a silicon container with dusty, crumbly bits all over. Terpy smell and taste, predominantly gassy then fruity living up to the strain’s namesake. Dabs as a clear oil that’s easy to clean and smooth on the throat. Potent sativa effects focused in the head, uplifting and energizing for getting things done but enough body relaxation to chill out as well.

Small and dry crumble chunks that were moved into a glass container. Smells of pine, melts pretty clean with a smooth natural weed taste and subtle sweet berry, average shatter level of terps altogether. Couch lock and heavy body make for a low energy vibe, strong but not overpowering.

Trainwreck x Hawaiian

Sticky pull and snap similar to the Johnny Blaze. Winterized but required refrigeration to be freed from its parchment paper. Sharp smell that comes through in a dab with a fruity-tropical flavour and melts relatively clean. Effects bring both sativa and indica head on and don’t let up for some time, a good example of the sativa leaning hybrid strains I prefer.

Sticky pull and snap that was transferred to my own parchment paper and started leaking soon after. Terpy with a pungent smell reminiscent of Death Bubba with added citrus taste. Darker melt and a hint of trim flavour towards the end of a dab or at higher temperatures. Strong head effects can be felt right away making it hard to focus, high potency shatter that isn’t far off from their winterized Pineapple Express altogether.

Sour Tangie rosin loaded with terpenes, smelling strongly of fruits that can be tasted throughout a dab. Melts dark with occasional plant material turning up but also a potent sativa feeling that doesn’t settle for some time. First time trying rosin that can rival terp sauce in flavour and effects.

Notes: Three other rosin strains all have unique and strong effects but are low on terps. A lack of flavour including sweetening but the dosage felt accurate. I usually end up chewing hard candies and these were extra hard.


Cannaisseur 200mg CBD oil $39.5

Received this instead of CO2 oil. Packaging is missing ingredients or instructions for use and I could not find them online. Kyle was able to tell me it’s edible hemp seed oil mixed with 200mg of CBD isolate. The packaging is not resealable and the syringe tends to squeeze out less or more than I intend.

A runny oil with low taste providing effects consistent with other CBD experiences after a 1-2 hour wait. However I would look to get 1g of CBD isolate around this price range.


Bruce Banner #3 (AAA) $7.5/g - Album

(OG Kush x Strawberry Diesel)

Arrived ready to smoke with a very distinct smell of strawberries. The small nugs felt quite dense after jarring, semi sticky and crystal coated. Ash burns white with extra resin showing through the paper and an interesting tangy diesel flavour. Vaporizing might allow more of its fruity terps to come through.

Effects hit about half way through smoking and are long lasting. A mostly high flying sativa with uplifting attributes and no couch lock. An impressive amount of THC suitable for high tolerances. There’s another Bruce Banner listed as a quad but this was the AAA.


Pink Kush (AAA) $6/g - Album

(OG Kush phenotype)

Dark colouration bud that stayed in good condition after shipping. Not much smell in the bag beyond a faint woody kush. After jar time with bovedas the nugs felt sticky and dense, leaking piney sweet terps that come through as a subtle flavour when smoked. Fairly white ash with a noticeable throat hit but not unpleasant. The heavy indica potency provides numbing sensations that’s good for pain relief or just zoning out on the couch.

Death Bubba popcorn $4/g - Album

(Bubba Kush x Death Star)

Out of the bag felt dry and lacking terps and its condition remained after being cured with bovedas. The small nugs had a somewhat loose structure that breaks up easily giving off a woody-earthy smell. Slight flavour when smoked with a harshness that seemed to induce coughing. The relaxing indica effects make it a decent option for the cost but I’d leave it for vaping or making edibles.
