This strain is bea...utiful, I’m a sucker for the purple hues mixed with the orange pistils. The buds were small to medium in size and they were all covered in trichomes, the photo above was taken in direct sunlight with no flash or filters. The only complaint I have is that I found it a little bit dry and I’m starting to wonder if it’s a characteristic of this strain. Almost every review I read mentioned this very thing, but like those users I put a Boveda into the jar and the buds perked right up. The nose is incredibly loud with smells of pine and kush, it has a very classic indica smell. I get flavours of citrus, lemons and diesel.
Speaking of, this strain is technically a hybrid, but it is indica leaning with an 80/20 ratio. I found this to be a perfect strain for binge watching Weeds (fitting, I know). While the couch lock effects of the indica are there, that small percentage of sativa gives just enough of a boost to prevent you from passing right out. If that’s what you’re going for you can get there by consuming more, which I think makes it an ideal strain. There are a lot of indicas that knock me out so fast I don’t have time to appreciate the effects and this strain allows you to. Even though there’s some sativa it’s a happy boost of euphoria that quickly infuses you with a hazy, almost unfocused calm which makes it perfect for a night in with movies or streaming.
This was my first purchase with Alti Mtl who is an IG mom. I received great customer service and will definitely be buying from him again. Bag Appeal~ High marks in this department as these were some of the best looking buds I’ve seen. This strain certainly lives up to its name with the frosty trichromes covering the bud resembling a sugar coated sour patch kid. Also, the golden hairs woven throughout remind me of hand-spun cotton candy. The buds were mostly medium sized with a couple of smaller ones, but they were dense and prepped very nicely.
Smell/Taste- I didn’t know weed could smell so good, holy Christ on a cracker. When I opened the bag I was hit in the face with a couple of different smells that immediately brought me back to my childhood. The smell was very reminiscent of marshmallow circus peanuts and tasted like Rockets.
Potency/Effects- Candyland is my new favourite daytime strain, with its cerebral centric effects and heavenly feeling of euphoria it’s the perfect wake and bake. It provides a nice clear headed high, yet still manages to take you to the moon if that’s where you want to go.
I got an ounce at $200 and with the way prices are right now, I feel like it was pretty good. Considering strains from these growers and similar others run about $260-$280 an oz right now it’s not bad. The customer service was terrific, the husband and wife team running it are very friendly and helpful. Like I mentioned, they’re on Instagram and you contact them on Wickr or Discord. If it’s your first time ordering via IG platform just let them know and they can give you some help. Shipping was fantastic, it took a total of 3 business days to get to me in AB from ON.
After falling in love with HGA’s Death Mint Cookies, I knew I had to try this one and boy does it deliver. Everything from the blissful aromatics of cocoa to the taste of a chocolate milkshake on a summer day, this strain ticks all the boxes. There was a disclaimer on this batch saying the buds we...re small-medium, however my bag consisted of mostly medium to larger sizes, so I was pleasantly surprised. They were dense and caked in trichromes resulting in especially sticky buds. Regarding the potency my experience was a very potent high that started out slightly cerebral and descended into a nice, relaxing body stone. This is definitely one of those strains that you feel behind the eyes and should go slow with because it creeps up on you. I’m really loving it, I think I may even like it more than the DMC. Regarding the value, it’s currently on sale at 30% off making it $196 an oz and I ended up getting it a little cheaper even after referral discounts. I would highly recommend jumping on this while it’s on sale and if you’re in need of a referral let me know :)
What can I say about this strain that hasn’t already been said? This is my 3rd time ordering it and this batch is WICKED. I know there are a ton of reviews on it already, so I’ll be quick.
The bag appeal was great in my opinion. This batch comes with a “leafy” warning and that the ...buds are small-medium. I didn’t find my bag to be too leafy and the majority of the buds were medium with a couple of smaller ones. Beautiful curing as always with the perfect amount of moisture, these buds are caked in frosty trichromes.
The smell is so nice and very refreshing, almost like a sweet gas. The taste is reminiscent to that of Earl Grey, which I friggin’ love. My method of consumption is a vape, so the minty notes of this strain really stand out.
This is an Indica dominant strain, but it’s one of those indicas that can be used in the daytime if you take your time with it. I find it to be an almost perfect balance of not too active, yet not entirely couch locked, but the potency is there if that’s your desired effect.
I also want to give a quick toast to HGA’s magical shipping. I placed my order on Thursday evening, it was mailed out Friday afternoon and I received it Monday morning (BC to AB). I’d also like to add that I did not use Purolator, this was sent through CP.

This is the first time I’ve ordered from Budmail’s premiere line and um, holy shit. The bud size is insane as you can see from [this](https://imgur.com/a/S9dkXUL) photo and that was one of THREE. I’m too stoned to write an in depth review right now, my brain compartments and departments aren�...��t currently functioning at full capacity. This bud is beautiful, potent and tastes like candy. It’s obviously more expensive, but fuck it and treat yo self because it’s friggin’ worth it.
