First let me state for those who haven’t heard of Budcheap, they have no affiliation with Cheapweed, just an unfortunately similar name.
As mentioned in title, this is a sample review. If these sorts of reviews bunch your panties, don’t read any further.
MOM Name Budcheap
...>Overall rating out of 10: 8
Sign Up: N/A for now
Ordering & Pricing: Prices seem very competitive.
Communication: TBD/10
Communication wasn’t the swiftest, but i am always reluctant to assign a communication rating with a sample review because obviously they will give priority to the paying customers. They were however super polite and friendly.
Packaging: 9/10
Very well packaged. Samples came in reusable plastic containers labelled with the strain names which were double vac sealed. No box, but I wouldn’t expect one on a small sample order.
Products / Photos:
Kush Berry:
Not the prettiest or best smelling. Bit of a berry flavour. Mild potency, ok for a daytime buzz though it did make me a bit lazy. Priced accordingly at $89/Oz

PinkBubba:
If you’re a fan of kushes you may want to check this out. Strong kush aroma (get more of the pink than the bubba), delicious taste that seemed equally balanced between the parent strains. Potent and long lasting high that brought significant pain relief and muscle relaxation which I typically find with most strong kushes yet without couchlocking or burning me out like they usually do. For me, this one is a steal at $135/Oz

Zombie OG:
I found this one to have a bit of a citrus & berry scent and somewhat of an earthy flavour. Smoked some of this while fishing and became one with nature lol. Then almost fell asleep in the boat.
Surprisingly, I found a fairly large amount of clear trichomes indicating this was taken down a bit early and could have otherwise been even more potent. Despite that, I don’t think anyone would be unhappy with this stuff at $145/Oz

Versace:
This is one I really enjoyed. I found the taste and smell (more so the taste) to be like a fruity hashplant. Old school hashplant was one of my favorite tasting strains back in the day so this won me over pretty easily. The high was euphoric and uplifting yet also relaxing. Basically just felt super happy and content. At the time of writing, this is the most expensive strain on their menu @ 199/Oz, to me its worth that price but I can’t say how much my love of hashy flavoured weed may be impacting my opinion.

Incentive for Customers:
Seems to be good deals to be had for any price range.
Incentive for Review:
Samples were provided in exchange for an unbiased review.
Notes:
I may have just been super lucky, but I actually received my package in 1 day (in BC).
The kushberry was rather dry, the other 3 were decently fresh. Trim was pretty tight on the kushberry and zombie, the pink bubba and versace had a bit of leaf that could have been trimmed but pretty minor. All strains burned nice in joints as well as the bong and seemed to be well cured. When viewed with a handheld microscope, both the Versace and in particular the zombie had some clear trichomes and could have been allowed to mature a bit more before harvest but were still quite potent.
Budcheap seems like a great MOM and will likely get my next order once my stockpile from my March harvest dwindles.

**These samples were given for free in exchange of a neutral review**
Today we have Budcheap. They’ve been around at least since last year. If I remember correctly, they used to offer very decently priced flower. They also had/have a decent hash selection, for you hash lovers. The website ...isnt the most “professional” looking, but gets the job done, cam easily navigate and check out. Communication for the purpose of this review was done by email, and responses were quick and courteous.
Kushberry First flower up, the 89$ offering. This sample was the dryest of them. I would have liked to see how this smoked after some jar time, because even dry this was quite enjoyable. Nice sweet taste on the exhale, light grey ash. Potency isnt through the roof, but I’m certainly not complaining. Duration was a little short-lived, but the initial hit surprised me. Nice after-work smoke before settling down for the night. I would personally use this either for edibles, or rolling a bunch of joints for a party.
https://i.imgur.com/xpG1lXC.jpg
Pink Bubba This was my favorite of the batch. Expertly cured, this came in nicely humid ground up really nice, and smoked amazing. Again, light grey ash, heavy smoke, but relatively light on the exhale. Traditional Pink nose and taste. This sent me off to bed rapidly. Before falling asleep, I got a huge case of the munchies and the giggles. Nice strain overall, and priced very decently at 135. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though, because I usually smoke more hybrids/sativas as I don’t want any couch-lock in my daytime smoke
https://i.imgur.com/1VqlpXA.jpg
Bluefin Tuna Best-tasting out of my samples. Typical Tuna, with a little sweetness. Clean burn, nice thick smoke. Not overly potent, but a lot more heady than I would have expected. Very relaxing, but not sleep-inducing like most Tuna strains I’ve tried.
https://i.imgur.com/ZWOfzOH.jpg
Versace Best-looking bud by far. Deep blues, purples, and dark greens, nice coating of trichs. Cure and burn were on point, also nice kushy taste and nose. I would have liked a little more potency on this one, as it’s the most expensive of the bunch but it’s not weak by any means. Nice couch-lock and muscle relaxation, again not sleep-inducing. Quite an enjoyable smoke, but I personally would not pay full price for a zip.
https://i.imgur.com/EmsKTy1.jpg
In all, I enjoyed all the flower I was sent, but IMO the standouts were the cheaper options. Both the Kushberry and Pink Bubba offer great value. In my experience, the pricier options have stiff competition from other places, but the flower isnt bad at all. Quick assistance and quite a wide variety make Budcheap an interesting option for very decent flower at a very decent price

Bud Cheap June 10 2019 -
http://feedthemultiverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/budcheap.jpg
Signup - Super easy, no ID required.
Package/shipping - In a standard bag with a single opaque vacuum seal layer containing the marijuana in jars, which created a sense of dis...cretion. In fact, I was VERY confused when I got the package, I grabbed it and was like “I didn’t order extracts, did I forget I ordered cosmetics or glitter or something?”
Perks for you - $25 of points to use towards your first order after signing up (or I guess you could hold onto them if you wanted) and a rewards program and referral bonuses.
Perks for me - I received this package for free with the assumption and agreement with Bud Cheap that I would write them a review of the style I produce. This is that review.
Customer Service - They’ve been nice and prompt in their emails, and honestly, how can I complain about customer service that contacted ME to ask if I wanted free review weed. 10/10 customer service. ;)
The Buds - 4 curated samples. These are flawless nuggets of marijuana perfection, selected for their beauty and potency. When I cut the vacuum sealer open, WHAM, this scent cloud just assaulted me.
Death Bubba - 6/10
Tight nugget with a close trim, gassy smell with a bit of a chemical warming note to it. Harsher smoke that was reluctant to stay lit and burnt down to a dark gray. Also a bit harsh in the vape, though it’s relatively potent and provided decent pain relieving effects on a couple of small bits of the nugget. I would say this was the least remarkable of the set.
Blue Fin Tuna - 8/10
More like Blue FINE Tuna. Not too smelly, but the flavor is powerful, mouth invading, and makes me super hungry for a tuna sandwich, but if I open a can my cat will teleport over even though it’s not for him. So instead I’m eating leftover mall sushi from several hours ago. This might be a mistake. Anyway,
^That’s when the couchlock took hold and came back a day later to find I hadn’t finished writing the sentence. The sushi didn’t make me sick, but the weed sure stoned me hard! While it wasn’t quite as good as the preserved-in-can variant from Gas Garden, I would say it was still quite good. For someone without the GGCans budget, the budget Blue Fin Tuna would be a perfectly grand alternative.
It did burn pretty dark though the flavor was great and it wasn’t harsh.
Zombie OG - 9/10
Nose curlingly joyful smell wafts from this dank AF dense nugget of goodness. A warming flavor that reminds me of tea and nuts. The high kicked in fast and hard, the vapor stayed thick and it kept a flavor throughout the vaping experience. I would definitely buy this again. And since it’s a $140 ounce, I probably will. Once I got it lit, it burned flavorful and clean, to a darker gray ash.
Trainwreck - 7.8/10
Very potent. Beautiful nugget, flawless grooming job, nice density with a good bit of humidity spring still. Was torn up into a pile of delicious crystally goodness which lasted for a long vaporization session with thick vapor full of flavor. Ran into my brain like a train, one bowl was enough to wake my appetite and get my mind active in that classic ‘sativa’ way. Bright and clear high which tastes clean and gassy.
The taste of the smoke is unremarkable and it burns very dark.
In closing -
Bud Cheap appears to be a great newer option for low cost ounces. They stick mostly with ounces, and those roll as low as $79 as of today. Madness. Sparta? I definitely recommend and I will be taking a look at them periodically myself due to their sweet prices.

**Zombie OG**
InShot_20190601_233335539.jpg
This strain is popular around my house and we all agree this one was some amazing Zombie OG. Right out of the bag these plump light green buds have a nice appeal. With little clusters of orange hairs and a blanket of frost. Decent trim as well with little leaf. The smell is really sweet and creamy with a berry type fruityness. Amazing aroma that gets better upon prying open the sticky buds. The taste is also creamy and dank with hints of gas and sweet fruit on the exhale. It’s such a smooth and satisfying smoke that tastes great all the way through the joint and burns a light coloured ash. Despite sometimes being a really sedating strain, I found this one to be more of a hybrid with indica leaning effects. Instant wave of relaxation after the first few puffs and you feel that heaviness of the eyes set in but it wasn’t a smoke that made me too tired. Instead it was a tingly body stone that settled into a minor but not sedating couch lock.

**Trainwreck**
InShot_20190601_233427078.jpg
Trainwreck is one of those strains that I’ve had several times and never will get tired of. It used to make me really anxious back when I had a lesser tolerance to high thc strains but now I really appreciate the effects. The buds are heavy and dense with clusters of orange hairs all over. Also resinous and sticky, suitable for a grinder as it would take a while by hand. The smell is slightly muted at first, only picking up hints of spice and citrus. As soon as a bud is ground up the smell gets much sweeter with a blend of sour lemon-lime, and pepper. Really similar when smoked with a pungent and earthy taste on the exhale. Smokes smoothly in a joint burning a light grey coloured ash. The high is obviously where this strain shines and this time was no different. Surging rush of energetic euphoria that hits quickly and feels like a full on happy sativa. As time goes on and the more you smoke the effects start shifting to indica leaning with a heavy couch lock. The body is relaxed but the mind stays awake and focused making for a unique experience that is fun and enjoyable but not for everyone.

**Blue Fin Tuna**
InShot_20190601_233542350.jpg
Another Tuna related strain and I’ll never get tired of them. You just know it’s going to be a heavy and potent smoke. This one is Tuna × Blueberry, Blue Fin Tuna, and it’s the definition of dank and gassy. The nose stinging type. Once you get passed those overwhelming notes you also can smell the sweet berry from the other parent, blueberry. Super sticky and resinous buds that have a vibrant and healthy green colour with some subtle purple hues, more so within the bud. A little leaf here and there but they are just as caked as the rest of the bud. The taste is exactly what you would expect. Gas, gas, and more gas. Very hard hitting and thick smoke. Easy to cough but not because it’s harsh but just a hard hitting kush. The high is just as loud and defined as everything else with this strain. Starts off with a rush of happy and uplifted effects, a real mood enhancer at first with that 1/4 sativa side coming through. That is quickly overpowered by the heavy couch lock and sedating high that hits like a truck at first. Heavy eyes and slow thoughts and speech. I would save this for late evening or night indefinitely as it even has a burnt out crash afterwards. Effective for sleep that’s for certain.

**Death Bubba**
InShot_20190601_233611845.jpg
A perfect choice for an evening or before bed strain. This death bubba really has some pungent and dank notes right out of the bag. Was just stinking up the room when I ground some up and it lingered for a while. Very resinous and moderately sticky too. Broke up fluffy and was really easy to roll. You know, when the weed basically rolls itself lol. The buds have a tight and dense structure free of any visible leaf. Tons of orange hairs spread throughout with a decent amount of trichs as well. It packs that classic death bubba nose with gassy, pine, and
earthy characteristics. Burns a light grey ash and very smooth to smoke in a joint or a bong. Really good tasting smoke all the way through that carries over the gassy and earthy profile with a hint of sweet lemon/citrus. This one had me really couch locked after a while with a spacey head high that brought on lazy and sedative feelings. I never get much done with some good ol death bubba and its always been a consistently decent strain.

Samples were given for unbiased and honest reviews. Newer MoM on the scene and haven’t seen tons of posts and reviews around here.Take these reviews with a grain of salt as samples could sometimes, but not always, be the better looking buds in the batch but these are my personal and honest opinions on these 4.
**Final Notes**
These 4 strains I tried were good examples of what Bud Cheap has to offer and they have some modestly priced flower for the quality. Especially the Blue Fin Tuna and Zombie OG which were my personal favourites. Nothing was old or dry as well which speaks for quality. Also very friendly staff that were quick and helpful to any questions etc. A positive and good overall experience.

So far so good dude. Tried 4 strains and all were fresh, potent, and sticky. Especially the blue fin tuna. I’m going to be doing a full review on them tonight. Shipping was really quick (2 days BC to ON) and the first time I used Puralator as an option but they had CP as well.
