This is a strain that has surprised me a few times, first being when I cut open the vac seal. The sweet terp profile hit my n...ose and was quite loud. It is definitely sweet, and although it is tropical, I have a hard time saying exactly which fruits it evokes. The burn is clean, nose translates well to taste, and the high is like a warm hug on a winter day. This will elevate your mood while relaxing you, withno burnout or sleepiness at all. For the price they sell this with their first order promo, plus a referal, it’s a no brainer. Definite winner for me at the price point.

Product: Yeah, another review for this. It’s just good. Nose is on point, taste and burn is on point, produces thick creamy smoke. Not a knockout indica,... but very close. Bud size is mostly medium with a few bigger colas and little popcorn. When it can be had under 200$ it’s by far one of the best purchases out there.

Product:

First strain in Pineapple Express. Have not had this strain often,... and when I did they were mids/trips. This is one of the good cuts I smoked. Trim is on point, nugs are quite small, but the nose is classic sweet PEx. Burns very clean to white ash with decent oil rings. High is quite potent. Tried this first thing in the morning, and the single joint had me in a great mood until lunch. Little burnout on this, love it for a wake and bake.

Second strain I got was their Wedding Cake x Gelato. This was priced at 99, and it definitely offers good value. Nugs are kinda scrappy, trim could be better, but still burns clean. High is nicely balanced, not overly potent, would be a good daily smoke for indica fans. Good functional high with a little couch lock, no sedation in my case. Nose/tase is a little hard to pinpoint, but definitely on the sweeter side.

End Notes: Again very happy with LPB. In the 99-130 price point they always have decent offerings. They seem to be quite consistent, which is what I look for in budget flower. Not looking to be blown away, but rather good consistency in quality, and they tick most boxes.See More

Strain: Got the Gas Mask at 99$. Sm...all-medium buds, cure is alright, slightly dry on arrival, but nothing too excessive. Kush and light gas undertones. Fairly potent. Not a knock-out, but after a second joint I lulled into a deep sleep. Burns clean and gives decent oil rings. Definitely a good buy for the price.

Second strains is Lemon Skywalker. This one impressed me. Nose is a little muted, but I get citrus and a little bit of cheese. Nose and effects remind me of Gas Garden’s GTHxTangie, in a little milder. Heavy sativa, felt lost, energetic and happy. Smoked clean with thick oil rings. High was long on this one, lasted a few hours after my morning joint. Will def scoop this up again if available.

Strain: Tried their Mike Tyson around when the hype was huge and Gasle...ak stuff was relatively new and flooding the sub. Bag appeal is on point. Received during a very cold period and the buds were still nicely cured, dense and sticky. Grinds up perfectly and rolls great. Burn is very good, ash is nice and smooth. Nose and taste is classic kush, nice and piney with gasoline undertones. Potency is where I was expecting more. I wanted this to be a knockout indica, to be used as a sleep aid, but it lacks just a little bit to get it there. Strong couch-lock for me, nice euphoria, but no sleepiness. Still a very enjoyable smoke though.

These products were offered as samples, as BlueMoon is mainly known for their budget offerings, they wanted some input on their higher end products.

Ordering/Shipping: same as any mom, no ID required, payment by etransfer. They ship from Nova Scotia, so very quick to me in Montreal. Boxed and vac-sealed, customized mylar bags.

Products:

First strain is their Blueberry Pancake from their Fire strains. This one was marked down in price to 135 an ounce, regular price 220 IIRC. Burned a little dark but still very flavorful, nice balanced high. Not the most potent, but a good smoke post-work when I have to unwind. Nice cerebral buzz followed by some couch-lock, no sleepiness. Nose is very earthy, cookie and sweetness. Would not pay regular price, but at the discounted price it was a steal.

Next we have The Black. Nice dense buds with some decent shades of colour. Smoked very well, light grey ash, and offered nice euphoria with solid laziness. To be consumed at night, maybe before dinner, or to game with. Nose/terps are nothing unique, very kushy, but a solid smoke for sure. Less potent than I would have expected.

For a sativa-dom I went with Orange Aid. Straight citrus and pine terps, translated well to taste. Burned clean white. I was expecting more of a sativa head high, but was met with a balanced buzz. Burnout is a bit too heavy for my sativas. Still enjoyed it, but kept it for the afternoon instead of my weekend wake and bake.

I tried their Sage, no pic unfortunately, but if they still have it, go ahead, it’s great. This is the one I ended up setting aside for my weekend breakfasts. Unique terp profile that smelled like a spice rack with a side of mint. Very refreshing smoke, as much the taste as the effects. Definite mood enhancer, burned clean, and the price is right.

Last but not least, their Cat Piss. I was always curious about this strain, and they had it in their Fire menu, so I jumped on it. Definite amonia terps, with earth and sweet kush thrown it. Burned white, and the buzz was amazing. Super hazy and cerebral up front, with immense body relaxation after a little while. Not a social type of head high as it will make you spacy, to enjoy alone as you will be lost and introspective. Definite winner in my order.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the product. As their premium ’Fire’ strains, I feel a few should be knocked down 10-20$ but they always have a discount somewhere to handle that. East coasters should def keep an eye on them.See More

Today we have Budcheap. They’ve been around at least since last year. If I remember correctly, they used to offer very decently priced flower. They also had/have a decent hash selection, for you hash lovers. The website ...isnt the most “professional” looking, but gets the job done, cam easily navigate and check out. Communication for the purpose of this review was done by email, and responses were quick and courteous.

Kushberry First flower up, the 89$ offering. This sample was the dryest of them. I would have liked to see how this smoked after some jar time, because even dry this was quite enjoyable. Nice sweet taste on the exhale, light grey ash. Potency isnt through the roof, but I’m certainly not complaining. Duration was a little short-lived, but the initial hit surprised me. Nice after-work smoke before settling down for the night. I would personally use this either for edibles, or rolling a bunch of joints for a party.

Pink Bubba This was my favorite of the batch. Expertly cured, this came in nicely humid ground up really nice, and smoked amazing. Again, light grey ash, heavy smoke, but relatively light on the exhale. Traditional Pink nose and taste. This sent me off to bed rapidly. Before falling asleep, I got a huge case of the munchies and the giggles. Nice strain overall, and priced very decently at 135. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though, because I usually smoke more hybrids/sativas as I don’t want any couch-lock in my daytime smoke

Bluefin Tuna Best-tasting out of my samples. Typical Tuna, with a little sweetness. Clean burn, nice thick smoke. Not overly potent, but a lot more heady than I would have expected. Very relaxing, but not sleep-inducing like most Tuna strains I’ve tried.

Versace Best-looking bud by far. Deep blues, purples, and dark greens, nice coating of trichs. Cure and burn were on point, also nice kushy taste and nose. I would have liked a little more potency on this one, as it’s the most expensive of the bunch but it’s not weak by any means. Nice couch-lock and muscle relaxation, again not sleep-inducing. Quite an enjoyable smoke, but I personally would not pay full price for a zip.

In all, I enjoyed all the flower I was sent, but IMO the standouts were the cheaper options. Both the Kushberry and Pink Bubba offer great value. In my experience, the pricier options have stiff competition from other places, but the flower isnt bad at all. Products / Photos:Ghost Train Haze is in my top 3 of favorite sativas I’ve ever smoked. Clean burn to a light-grey smooth ash, lemon and earth on the nose, a little sourness in the taste, very nice. It’s a creeper, 5 minutes after I finished the joint, I was hit like a truck by energy and euphoria. Perfect for social settings and good conversations.

Pink Gas, dear lord this is a smooth smoke. Clean white ash, nice sweet taste, and it does it’s job, which is knocking me out before bed. Classic pink aroma and flavor profile. Trim is a little rough, but mostly they are sugar leaves that are nicely coated in trichs.

Watermelon, fucked up shape of buds, as per usual, and nicely coated. Amazimg nose, probably the best smelling of this strain I’ve ever had. Smokes a little rough, but very flavorful. That being said, I ground this up with my fingers pretty large, it will most likely burn a lot smoother once it’s ground up properly. Very nice functional indica buzz.

Bluefin Tuna is a winner as well. Nice easy aroma, probably a placebo effect but for some reason I smell some faint algae. Very ’organic’ smelling. Big couch-lock but not quite sleep-enducing. Nicely coated, and excellent cure.

Purple God, purple and trich-coated to the core of the bud. Nice and flavorful, this had a distinct acidity to the smell which I’ll compare to a bottle of red wine sitting open on a counter for a few hours. Nice clean smoke, and a nice hybrid buzz, minimal couch-lock.

Products/Strains: Got the White Zombie, which in terms of bag appeal, is crazy. Patches of yellow, almost white, lime green and purple. Nice and dense with a little fluff. Huge nugs. The nug in the picture below is 7.2g, and I had a few of similar size. Burns a bit dark, but very uniform and smooth smoke. I think someone compared the taste to burnt marshmallow, which is spot on. Sweet, woody and pungent. Great cerebral high that I would almost qualify as hallucinogenic, very euphoric, I was not at all focussed during my buzz.

Also order the 96$ Pink Kush. I inquired about it before placing my order, and they told me it was very good, especially for the price. It’s a great representation of the strain. I’m not a Pink lover like a lot of people. but it has the classic PK smell and buzz, very clean burn and smoke, fairly potent. I tend to smoke sativas and hybrids leaning less towards indica, so it knocked me out before bed, but not before giving me a nice case of the giggles.

Got a sampe of Platinum Cookies as well. A little dry for my taste, but then again I do like my flower to mbemore on the humid side. Great smooth smoke, classic Cookies taste and smell, cure was excellent as well. Small nugs, but for a sample that’s expected.

Incentives: None for writing this review, just wanted to let some peeps know that they are a viable option for high trips and quads at a fair price. Other than that, they have a discount for your first order, inquire on their chat or on discord and they should provide it.

Overall: Very happy with the order and the selection they have. They recently added Sour Diesel, which I will have to try for sure. For the East Coast peeps, they obviously ship out of Toronto so they might be a nice option if you’re looking to shave a day off of usual delivery delays. 8/10 because of the dark burn on the White Zombie, even though it doesnt really affect the buzz, smoke and taste
