I recently made an order from King Tuts (kingtuts.ca). It’s my second order, and also the one I’ll be reviewing. Moreso a review on the quality of service and buds than the smoking experience, as I haven’t had the chance to try smoking any yet, however, I have visually inspected and smelled t...hem and will include info as such.

My first order had an oz of hash that had a regrettable smell to it, and I was reimbursed one full $100 ounce for my order (same price as the hash cost me). Service is above and beyond that of any MoM I’ve tried before, and the others have been great. King Tuts is even better, phone support is a pleasure to talk to and will be straight up with you about any inquiries or concerns you have, along with a pleasant disposition to boot!

This order, I got 3 x $100 (Nuken - AAA, Violator - AAA, and El Fuego Blanco - AA) ounces, and 1 x $150 ounce of Gorilla Bomb - AAAA.

The one I was most surprised with was the El Fuego Blanco, because the buds are so coated in trichomes they have a fuzzy appearance, even the stems on the scattered untrimmed leaf. Buds are a bit looser than the other strains, but not loose to the point of it being a fault. Smell is fairly good, and at the price you can’t really ask for better.

Nuken - AAA - Smells great. Doesn’t blow my nose away like some other Nukens I’ve had, but for $100 it’s fantastic. Smells right, still smells potently, just not the complete kick in the face that some more expensive stuff I’ve had had. Buds are nice, fairly large bright green nuggets that are trimmed well and are quite dense and a nice quantity of trichomes coating it all.

Violator - AAA - Not sure what I expected it to smell like as I can’t recall having it before. Dense buds, deep, thick kind of aroma if that makes sense. Again, plenty of trichomes on this one.

Gorilla Bomb - AAAA - Smells good, hard to describe, but reminds me of several nice other sativas I’ve had the pleasure of smoking. This is trimmed the best of the bunch, as is to be expected at 1.5x the price. Decent sized nugs, although smaller than the bigger nuken nugs on average.

Over all, as long as it all smokes as well as all the strains from my first order did, 10/10 service, and for the price range, product is also 10/10, no doubt. I couldn’t and wouldn’t ever have expected to be getting such stellar buds for 100$ an ounce, can’t praise King Tuts enough.

Shipping: Package comes in a an Xpresspost bubble envelope, with a vacuum seal around the whole order, then inside the vacuum seal bag is a thick, silvery resealable bag. Inside of that will be (IIRC, all the vacuum sealing is a blur) another vacuum sealed bag, with your individually vacuum-packed ounces, and a Boveda package in each. Package was (obviously) unsmellable to me, even down to the very last OZ vacuum seals. Quite please.

Oh, and their free gifts with every oz purchased are great. This time I got one x 30$ Four20 set of busters, and a little clear glass bubbler (9.95$). I believe it’s one $10 with each ounce but could be wrong, or one 30$ gift with each either 2 or 3 ounces. Either way, it’s a great deal, quite pleased. Last order I got a pretty cool little USB rechargeable electric arc lighter. I might be fuzzy on the details of the gifts program, but it can be found on I believe their front/homepage anyways if you scroll down a bit.

and disclaimer, because I may sound as if I was given incentive to write this review: I was in no way compensated or given incentive to write this review. I’m doing it to help anyone that’s considering ordering from them make up their minds, as I’m always skeptical of new MoM’s and sending them my money. The customer service and quality of the product well-deserve a review, and after receiving this package and again being impressed with my order, I almost feel like I owe it to them. Word of mouth is their advertising, so here’s my words, straight from one very satisfied customers mouth (fingers).

At this point I will give them a 6/10. The product I paid for (Kandy Kush) was not very good IMO, but some of the samples they sent were good.

My weed came vacuum sealed in individual bags, then all the bags were put in another vacuum sealed bag, put in a mylar and then put in a box. Very good packaging.

Products / Photos:

This is where things get a bit rocky. I took advantage of their promo where they would send out a sample of all their products, I have only tried the Kandy Kush (which is what I paid for), the Violator and the Death Bubba. The Kandy Kush I really wouldn’t recommend at all, after smoking it (through my bong) I felt light headed and had a headache. At first I wasn’t positive if it was the weed but I am now positive as the Death Bubba and Violator all give me similar effects and I have since smoked some stuff a friend had which is not from this MoM and felt none of those effects. I am by no means a weed expert but I have ordered from a few different moms, all different strains (not to mention all the weed I had before ordering from moms) and have never had effects like this. I would not say this stuff is very safe to smoke. I guess can’t expect much from a $99 oz but I’ve definitely had better stuff for less from MoMs..

This is the Kandy Kush

The weed looks pretty good which is why I was so surprised that it wasn’t good. The smell in my non expert opinion is definitely off. At first it seems to have a good lemony smell but then just a bad aroma hits which I really can’t describe.

EDIT 09/24/2018: I’ve tried some more of the samples and decided to update my review accordingly as I feel I was a little unfair. I still don’t believe the Kandy Kush is very good but the Jet Fuel and Cherry Pie joints I smoked were good and I have no complaints. I still weight the product I paid for a little heavier than the freebies which is maybe wrong of me but it’s just how I feel. I think overall you won’t be disappointed with this MoM.
