Do-Si-Dos - Kootenay Craft - May 2021 (Preview)
First observation is that these are likely two diff phenos? They smell pretty similar, but this will be written from trying the less-impressive and leafier green nug. Some visible spider mite damage can be seen in both nugs, with a corresponding deduction in the scoring Do-Si-Dos (OGKB GSC x Face Off OG) has traditionally been a preferred hybrid for its tendency to offer balanced, functional relaxation, an enjoyable body buzz, and some cerebral stimulation so was excited to see this included for review Nugs are still slightly sticky to the touch, with a woody, earthy, and slightly herbal sweetness in jar, becoming much nuttier and gassier when ground. Experience begins as a woody, perfumey/floral and slightly dank sweetness, then settles as a familiar earthy, gassy, kushy sweetness and finishes as peppery diesel. (The early floral notes are not my favourite, personally, but then the gas comes in to balance things out) Some cerebral euphoria at first but mostly a functional stone with a modest body buzz that creeps in over time. Prob 8.25 or 8.5 Potency in our Database scale as of now. Overall quite enjoyed this indica-leaning hybrid - the cerebral buzz creeps in more and more over time in an overall-relaxing experience Expected 416 Database Score: 87-90 AAA+ Full Disclosure: This is a donated product that will result in 7g of flower being gifted by 416 Strains towards our Cannabis for Good initiative.
