I haven’t been without this strain for a good 6 months straight, and always make sure to have some in my stash. Sweet kushy, doughy taste... with an almost salted caramel finish on the tongue. Greasy rings of resin on every joint, with a perfect burn and a high that just kicks your ass. I hear lots of people calling this a bedtime strain, but I’d have to disagree as it always seems to get my mind and heart racing, so i like to smoke this right after work for an instant detachment from the workday.

Another HGA staple to add to the list of strains I will never stop buying. I wasn’t quite finished my first ounce of this stuff when I saw it on flash sale for 30% off, and I certainly could not resist doubling down for that price. All in with sale price and accumulated points/discounts I spent 13...5$ on the ounce, which is a crazy steal. EBC has become my go to late-night bedtime strain, or the strain i smoke when i feel my anxiety getting out of control and just need some sedative relief. The high is potent and satisfying as can be for those seeking classic indica effects, and a super unique yet familiar taste for those looking for an alternative to the usual gassy indica. Don’t get me wrong, there are hints of the gas in there, but it is by far dominated by an earthiness, like rich soil, with hints of savoury garlic. Ordered on Monday around 4pm and arrived at my door Wednesday 10am via Canada post, which was a welcome surprise! I added a quarter of this to my order of Red Congo smalls on a whim, as I am a huge fan of anything MAC, though admittedly have mixed results with sunset sherbet. Figured it could go eit...her way and worth the shot. To be honest though, I’m still very much on the fence about this stuff.

I think a lot of that comes down to my hope that this would lean heavier on the MAC side with a hint of sunset sherbet, but it really seems to be the other way around, so thats just a personal expectation sort of thing. I will say however that this stuff visually is definitely unimpressive as you can tell by these scraggly looking buds . Airy, fluffy buds with very little density and a very mild yet pleasant floral sunset sherb smell, with maybe a hint of the muskiness of a MAC. Taste is actually pretty fantastic, with that sharp, almost perfume-y sweetness on the inhale. The high is also pretty decent, but definitely leaning towards the sunset genetics with that familiar almost psychadelic brain fog.

Not the best weed for focusing or getting anything important done, but definitely excellent for spacing out to some music or playing some mindless video games. If COVID didn’t fuck everything up, this is definitely the kind of strain I would love to have on me at the the rave when I need a break from the dancefloor and a good boost of energy (and stonedness obv), but for now it seems to do the trick well enough when I just need to unplug at home for a bit.

Not a favourite, and for sure not as good as their MAC1, but it’s decent enough if you like sunset sherbet. I’d wait for it to go on sale though as I think the full price is a bit much to ask for this

Between the price and ...quality, this is THE weed of 2020 as far as i am concerned. At 160ish after discounts this has become my daily driver, having gone through about a QP or more since June. This newest batch is better than ever, especially sitting next to the last few nugs of my last order in June. What an absolute friggin treat this stuff is. I couldn’t resist the hype around this, and I’m so glad i pulled the trigger on it finally because this truly might be the greatest sativa i ever had. The kind of stuff i would want in my stashbox forever. Even though i typically don’t mess with pu...re sativas, this red congo is that rare exception for sure. Dangerously smooth on the inhale which really makes this quite the addicting smoke, i find myself rolling joint after joint of this stuff, not because it is weak, but because there is really no ceiling and the inhale and taste are just a total pleasure on the lungs. As others have mentioned there is almost root beer flavour, and the high is the most perfectly clear headed, get-shit-done (or otherwise just chill out with a huge grin on your face) type high. Apologies for the crappy picture and very late review! I’ve been slowly making my way through a QP of this stuff since mid June, and it has quickly become one of my all time favorites. This stuff is like an old familiar friend at this point. I know that no matter how much other weed I smoked throu...ghout the day, this will always cut through the tolerance to get me a very special kind of lifted that few other buds can do for me. Not to mention that sweet doughy kushy taste and smell that is simply incomparable, and never gets tiresome. I brought this shit with me when I went to visit my folks a few weeks ago, and my mom would not stop complaining about how much it stank for the entire weekend. Me and my brother just shared a knowing grin each time like, yeah, this is the best weed ever mom, thanks for the compliment!!! Haha

Very unique smoke, not at all what i expected from a dosi which i associate with a deep rich nuttiness. This smells light and very subtly fruity, like white grapes and friggin cucumber water haha. This is the kind of weed i imagine they would serve you at a spa with a warm towel. At first i wasn’t... sure about the taste because i just absolutely was not expecting it, but by the second joint i was in love. This stuff has a major uplifting energy to it, while also maintaining the grounding heaviness of an indica. It got me locked into throwing frisbee to my dog like i was in a video game. What a treat! I am pretty in love with this one right now and is currently my go-to for nighttime, especially just before bed. As the rare smoker who doesn’t at all like the gassy taste of pinks or basically most other heavy indicas, its tough to find an indica i truly enjoy smoking in terms of fl...avor. This shit is just weird enough to really have me craving more with each puff. It reminds me almost of sour cream and onion chips on the nose, though a bit sweeter on the palette. Got a bit of that GMO funk to it, but dialed down, and again a little bit sweeter. Insanely smooth on the inhale while also feeling immediately satisfying as it expands in the lungs and provides instant heavy relief.
