This stuff is great. Smaller buds but super sticky and potent. Little traces of purple throughout the buds.

Has a really great smell and smoke. The taste reminds me of old school God bud or ...Kush - a real syrupy flavour. The kind of taste that lingers in your mouth for a while after smoking one. Also, re-lighting a half joint still produces the same flavour rather then a resiny roach taste which is a huge bonus.

Stone is pretty strong but still not debilitating for me. Burns really clean. The couple of joints I smoked didn’t have a large resin ring but the taste and high were still stronger than other Skookum strains I’ve tried.

Slept solidly through the night which is why I picked this up in the first place. Being someone with PTSD and night terrors it was a welcome relief to sleep straight through.

Munchie factor was relatively high for this stuff. I’ve been off sugar for three weeks now and this was the first smoke I’ve had that it was an actual battle to not eat everything sweet in my house.

Disappointed to find my half ounce can was short a half gram. That’s not much I know but when you’re paying basically $10 bucks a gram it would be nice if you actually got what you paid for. This was a first for me being shorted with the tin series so it’s not too big of a deal.

Overall, another quality product from the crew at Skookum.

On a small side note: the new black tins that Skookum is using actually fit with the plastic lids. The last few tins I’ve had the plastic lid wouldn’t seal so I had to instantly put it into jars. I still prefer using jars to using tins but getting an actual seal is nice regardless.See More

Well, this was an unexpected treat. I’m usually not a huge fan of the ‘Cookies’ genetics for some reason. The smell and taste of these strains usually don’t do anything for me. This stuff though was a hit and I’m happy I went for it.

My half consisted of all 1.5-3.5 gram buds. Sm...ell was slightly minty and earthy. Taste matched the smell but with a bit of a vanilla/dessert flavour on exhale. Ash was the signature white/ grey that everyone expects from Skookum. Oil ring was present on a joint and I also found that this produced oil patches on the paper similar to the Crunchberry Kush I reviewed the other day.

High was strong and excellent for lounging about. Not couch lock, actually pretty similar to the effects of the Crunchberry Kush but without the munchie factor. This is an after work/ evening strain for me but what I love about it is I’m not completely written off. It provides an excellent overall stone and has very little to no burn out effect on me.

This stuff is amazing. One of my favourites out of all the Skookum stuff I’ve tried. Super sticky, coated in trichomes, nice big buds, the nose is unreal and the taste matches. Fruity, gassy and gingery are the descriptors that comes to mind. Burns white/pepper gray and the oil ring is one of the ...strongest I’ve had. It was literally leaving pools of oil on the joint as it burned. The high is not quite couch lock but damn close. I find the initial high grabs ya right behind the eyes and washes over your whole body. Excellent for sitting down and watching a movie or gaming. I find myself pretty snacky when smoking this stuff. Burn out isn’t too strong and I definitely don’t feel like it’s a lights out strain. However, it’s still in my top 5 this year.

At $165 a half it’s a pretty pricey option. I had a bunch of points to use so my cost was around $70 all in. Regardless of cost this is a stunning example of small batch craft weed.

Between this stuff, the Tin Series Punch Breath and the Garlic Breath - Skookum is killing it right now in my opinion. I’ve bought from around 10 MOM’s in the last four years and at this point - Budmail/ skookum has been the best for me thus far for quality, consistency and customer service.

Ordered a half ounce of this during the sale Budmail had. I think I paid around $95 for the half.

Sticky, coated in trichomes, it stunk up my vehicle something fierce after opening up the bag on the way home. Smells a bit like a batch of Meat Breath I had recently. Kind of a spicy, earthy,... gassy mix in my opinion. I had some of the Garlic Breath from Kootenay Craft in early May and I really liked it as well. This stuff was a bit more dense and sticky overall though.

The smell translates to the taste really well, nice clean ash and a solid resin ring on the joint.

Had me feeling really good/ goofy after smoking a joint of it. Pretty uplifting indica high overall. I wouldn’t call it couch lock but I definitely felt the effects pretty quickly well smoking. I laughed a fair bit and generally felt a good balance of body and head stone. No real munchies effect for me which is great cause usually indica’s have me pilfering my cupboards for any trace of sugary treats. When the burnout hit I was ready for bed and slept solidly.

Overall, it’s a really nice example of the strain and I would definitely order it again.

Last strain of the three I picked up this week.

Fatso is an indica dominant strain. A cross of GMO Cookies and Legend OG.

Gassy is the first thing that comes to mind when describing this flower. Smell is pretty much all gas and taste is fairly similar to smell. I got a slight nut...ty flavour as well from the taste.

A fairly thick smoke and a nice resin ring on the joint. Burns really clean and white as is the case with basically everything I’ve got from Skookum up to this point. No throat irritation at all.

Grinds up really nice, not too sticky but perfect consistency for rolling a joint.

The high is fairly strong and more of an evening movie or game session strain. I didn’t find it overwhelming or overpowering though. Just a good strong relaxing stone. The munchies from this are not as bad as other indica’s I’ve smoked which is a bonus.

Overall I’m pretty happy with this strain and would buy again. I got two gram jars of it and both weighed in at 1.5 grams respectively.

Up to this point I had only tried the Punch Breath from Kootenay Craft. I ordered some late last year from them and found it to be absolutely stellar. It ended up being my favourite strain of 2019.

I ordered another batch semi recently from KC’s April update and wound up being pretty dis...appointed. It was still a good looking and great smelling strain but the stuff burned fairly black and ended up giving me a bit of a sore throat every time I smoked it. I still got a fair bit of it left due to that.

When I saw that Budmail was offering Punch Breath grown by Skookum I had to give it a shot as I’ve been loving their flower lately.

This stuff is dynamite. It doesn’t look as nice as the Hidden Pastry (which I reviewed earlier today and was overall disappointed with) but the high, taste and smell are all above and beyond that strain in my opinion.

Super clean burn and a taste that I would describe as gas and navel oranges. Buds are a nice mix of purple, green and orange. They are pretty sticky and coated in trichomes.

The high comes on relatively strong and after smoking a joint a couple of hours ago I am still feeling some of the effects and haven’t really experienced any burn out which is a major plus.

Overall this is what I like to see and have come to expect from Skookum. I know everyone has their individual favourite strains and this one is it for me presently.

I’ve purchased a number of tins and a number of the premier line from Skookum through Budmail. At this point I’d guess around 10 or so different strains

This stuff is probably my least favourite out of all of them. The description on the web site said it was so sticky it would gum up yo...ur grinder and it was a potent strain. Completely untrue. If anything I’d say this is a AAA strain that somehow got bumped up to a quad and got canned.

No real taste or smell to speak of. Slight hints of gas when I opened the can and the vanilla cake smell was just barely there. The high is fair to middling at best. It burns super clean, has the fabled ‘resin ring’ and is not irritating on the throat at all but that just doesn’t cut it when you’re paying between 120-150 a half ounce.

I took a t break not so long ago and have been finding myself getting stoned off of very little lately - I smoked three large joints of this last night and ended up rolling some other stuff I got in order to actually get stoned. Will be contacting Budmail about it cause this stuff is a big miss in my opinion.
