I'll never get tired of this c...onsistently delicious Clementine x Purple Punch cross. This certain gastown collective batch of Mimosa arrived on the dense, sticky side, sporting a dominantly green appearance with a bit of slightly yellow shade to it, further followed by subtle glimpses of purple and a helping of matted orange hairs. Seems to be a little on the aged side with some oxidation within and ambering trichomes.
The nose on this Mimosa is extremely pungent and even funky as it's a little cheesy, something I've only experienced with a couple of Mimosa cuts or perhaps when they begin to mature a bit. Funky, cheesy, citrus rinds with a tangie sweetness. I didn't notice the taste to be cheesy, offering more of the Mimosa type terps I'm used to. Sweet and slightly creamy tangie with a bit of a zesty orange peel taste on exhale, coming off a little bitter but this was more noticed through a joint vs bong. The burn is relatively clean, producing an average sized oil ring and salt n pepper ash.
A potent high with heady, social effects, even a little energizing within it's initial phase. Very uplifting and upbeat like citrus strains are known for. It starts to shift into more of a relaxed high in it's latter stages, bringing on a very calming, soothing body tingling buzz. It's not a KO but it did make me noticeably lazy and tired in larger amounts or when smoking it later at night especially.
To me, the taste and nose was like a rubbery grapefruit. It had that typical ”bitter citrus” taste / feeling you get from eating grapefruit. I work in the auto industry, and the smell reminds me of the smell of tires!
First time trying SS, and... definitely won't be the last!
This one proved to be a lot better than the Frosted Cherry Cookies and funny enough shares a nearly identical appearance and nose. Beautiful, vibra...nt buds, exploding with lively shades of green, purple, and orange. Sticky, dense, and coated in a healthy blanket of trichomes.
A profile that instantly brings to mind Lemon Thai with it's very zesty, lemon citrus aroma followed by hints of spice. It's very sherb influenced as I can't detect any gelato at all. The taste is also heavily citrus dominant with a zesty lemon cleaner kinda thing going on. A little raspy on the throat but nothing compared to the Frosted Cherry Cookies. Joints burned with a salt n pepper ash and smaller sized oil ring.
A medium potency, balanced high, offering a little bit of everything throughout it's progression. Uplifting and focused at first before ultimately turning into a relaxed, hazy, slightly couch locked high but a forgivable one at that, making it a suitable afternoon and evening smoke.

This Frosted Cherry Cookies looked and smelled amazing. Tangy lemon citrus with creamy, spicy, cherry cookie undertones. Unfortunately the translation to taste is a tr...oubled one as it lacks the flavours found in the nose and whatever subtle taste there is suffers due to a sharp, harsh smoke. The type you feel you need to exhale quickly with an annoying heaviness on the lungs and throat scratchiness. I just found it near impossible to comfortably and enjoyably smoke, especially in a bong as joints were a little less harsh but still felt like something was off. The little I did end up consuming provided a balanced buzz with a light body stone and decently strong head high. I could see this one having eventual potential in the future but not this time around unfortunately.

Gelato #33 and Tina are the parents behind this lovely Exotic Genetics bred st...rain. Arriving as super dense, chunky, well cured nugs with zero give to them, crisply snapping open to reveal a moderately sticky interior. Mainly sage green in appearance with hints of dark forest green throughout, topped by a greasy layer of trichomes and clusters of tangled orange pistils.
The nose on this Jet-A is an interestingly weird one but in a good, funky kinda way. It’s creamy but sour and acidic with subtle citrusy gelato notes. Definitely an acquired type profile. The flavours were significantly different however, providing a very terpy, creamy gelato #33 dominant smoke with a slight minty taste on exhale, making for delicious, pallet lingering flavours. Thick, silky smooth smoke, burning with a hefty oil ring and light grey ash.
Exactly the type of high I would expect from a desserty gelato cross, perfectly suited for an after work or dinner smoke with indica dominant qualities. Beginning with soaring heady effects that are extremely euphoric and mood lifting, leaving the mind stress and worry free with a potent spaced out high to match. It’s not long before these initial effects are accompanied by a heavy physical relaxation, bringing on a very calming, laid back couch lock but without the instant KO as it’s more of a slow building sedation. My first encounter with this Pure Michigan, a collaborative effort between 3rd Coast Genetics and Thug Pug Genetics. Cultivated by OG.Higherbeings, these gorgeous nugs are the result of crossing Oreoz and Mendo Breath f2. Just dripping in trichomes, filling every visible nook and cranny along it's jagged structure. Even the stems are outrageously frosty. Mainly pale green in colour with darker hints of green throughout, followed by delicate streaks of purple and wispy bronze pistils. Exquisitely trimmed with a good cure to follow, leaving the buds feeling dense and freshly sticky.
Being a huge breath fan, I could not wait to see what this one had to offer on a terpene level. I love breaking down aromas and flavours and this is definitely one I'd classify as very complex and multi layered. The nose straight out of the bag is this savoury, spicy, nutty funk with lingering floral scents in the background. I wouldn't say it smells like actual meat more so than a marinade or jerky seasoning. Very similar to a really good cut of MeatBreath in ways. It's flavours are just as enticing, bringing together a medley of savoury, spicy, floral notes with a bit of a creamy cookie taste from it's Oreoz lineage but the Mendo Breath is the dominant of the parents overall. Joints smoke smooth and oily, burning to a bit of a grey outer ash with a lighter grey centre.
A potent and long lasting high, beginning with a balanced sequence of effects that include a strong cerebral buzz with mood enhancing, zoned out qualities alongside a mellow body buzz. About half way in and the high significantly intensifies in nature, both mentally and physically, producing a heavy sense of relaxation with couch locking capabilities and a dreamy head stone. Definitely an indica leaner that feels best suited for late afternoon/evening use. Really loved this Pure Michigan as a first time experience with it.
A magically delicious cross between Rainbow Chip & Grease Monkey, this Funky Charms by Exotic Genetix arrived on the dense, ...sticky side while retaining a squishy, spongy texture. Great cure. Mainly light green in colour with hints of dark green through it's foliage, followed by a layer of colorful orange hairs and long stalks topped with milky trichome heads.
The aromas on this Funky Charms are the type that are a little dormant until broken up, smelling slightly creamy and dank before unleashing notes of funky fuel and mint from it's Mint Chocolate Chip ancestry. Also a subtle dash of citrus in the mix. It's flavours are similar but without the creaminess, providing more of a gassy, spicy smoke with a lingering herbal funkiness and a touch of citrus. I wouldn't say it's harsh but the smoke can be a little acrid and expansive. Joints burn with an average sized oil ring whilst leaving behind a salt n pepper ash.
My favourite part about this strain had to be it's potent hybrid high. Very much in the head at first with powerful, spaced out cerebral effects, bringing on that very peculiar headband feeling with a tightness around the skull. It eventually transcends to the body in the form of a lazy, couch locking body buzz. I didn't want to pass out but doing anything strenuous seemed way out of the realm of possibility. Also found it to be quite the 'giggly, silly' type buzz, something I don't seem to come across often and it definitely made for a fun and enjoyable experience.
A perfect day to review this heavy hitting cultivar by Cleanermeds as it's Friday the 13th and The Reaper is looking for it's next victim. De...ath Pie & Kush Breath combine to create these fresh, perfectly cured nugs. Hella greasy and sticky to the touch with a dense but squishy texture, definitely calling for the assistance of a grinder as it gave my fingers a good work out. Beautiful aesthetics on these smaller to medium sized buds with the colours on them ranging from green to purple, intertwining with a forest of winding, bright orange hairs and a heavy dusting of milky trichomes.
This stuff absolutely stinks in the best of ways, leading with an intoxicating stench of gasoline with sweet, floral aromas delicately lingering in the background. The terps effortlessly translate to the taste, making for a delicious gassy smoke that's followed by those same floral accents on exhale. Very classic, kushy profile and what really impressed me is how smooth it hits for such a robust indica. I can easily rip a large bowl of this Reaper without any repercussions whatsoever, same thing goes for a joint. So smooth and clean, burning with a fluffy light ash and greasy resin ring, maintaining it's flavour from start to finish.
The quality shines through once again when it comes to the high, following suit with it's other traits. Only a couple minutes in and I could already feel it's heavy handed indica characteristics in effect, noticing a definitive drop in my functionality. Extremely relaxing in every sense of the word as a stress relieving, limb to limb body buzz takes over, accompanied by a calming, dreamy head high. The perfect recipe for a sedating couch lock that can easily trigger a sleep coma, especially when medicating at night or for those with a lower tolerance. Thoroughly enjoyed this one by Cleanermeds and I'm glad I finally got to try it.
It's been quite a while since I've last had Cactus Breath. One of those strains that I'll always have a love for as it's the very first exotic that I tried, launching... me into the world of unique and delicious terpenes. This particular cut is very different looking than I'm accustomed too but it's just as beautiful. Terrifically cured nugs with an ideal density and stickiness to them, followed by a close trim that leaves behind a small amount of foliage. A colourful clash of greens and purples blend together in tremendous fashion, further complimented by a vast layer of long stalked trichomes and bright orange hairs.
The profile on this Cactus Breath took me by surprise as well as it smells unlike any Cactus Breath I've ever had. I'm no expert on the strain however, only having it 3 or 4 times but it's quite a peculiar profile from my experience. This one actually reminded me of a MAC at times just not as full bodied. Notes of lemon and oranges with a little herbal spice to follow. It's sweet too in a candy like way. It's flavours are very much the same, only with an added creaminess, making for a very smooth smoke, especially in a joint where it burned to a clean white ash with a hefty oil ring.
Medium potency in effects, offering a very laid back, balanced buzz that seems suitable for any time of the day. It's very relaxing but not in an overpowering way, just super calming and subdued, perfectly going with it's focused cerebral stone. Found it great for kicking back while still being able to remain productive and creative.

I took a look at the site and seen a few standout quads that caught my eye, tak...ing into mind the listed batch dates on the strain's page and selecting three of their newest. So far this is my favourite one. The Jealousy and Frosted Cherry Cookies look nearly identical and smell similar too but I was told they are just that alike as they are from the same grower. Definitely going to be tough to review those both as separate strains without sounding repetitive.
So onto the BlackCherry Punch review.
I immediately went for this strain first as the buds looked so inviting after I jarred them up. (they didn't arrive in a tin like some reviewers mentioned, just a standard mylar with their design etc). Phenomenal bag appeal on these beautifully grown and trimmed buds, really giving off that crafty appearance with minimal signs of handling as can be seen from the sheer amount of full headed trichomes and outstretched pistils. Lovely shades of green and purple that are nearly drowned out under a lush forest of wild orange hairs and copious amounts of snow white trichomes. Cured to a tee, leaving the buds feeling dense and sticky to the touch with a crisp snap to them.
An amazing aroma profile on this BlackCherry Punch, doing it's name justice through a delicious concoction of sweet, candied black cherries with underlying notes of berries and spice. The flavours are similar but reversed as they lead with peppery and spicy notes with hints of tart black cherry on exhale. Definitely more spicy and less fruity than the smell but still a very pleasant smoke nonetheless. Joints burn to a light salt and pepper ash with a decent oil ring to follow.
I've had this strain a few times in the past and while they were usually tasty and beautiful, they tended to lack on the potency. This one however seemed to pack a little more of a punch. Strong hybrid effects that hit mentally and physically, starting with an uplifted, euphoric high that is both spaced out and socially engaging before tapering off into a soothing body stone with a solid dose of relaxation. Overall a really good representation of this strain.
