Signup is quick and easy, typical MOM setup. WCC’s website is nice and fast, polished and not TOO bus...y (something that plagues some sites).
Ordering & Pricing:
Ordering is typical ecommerce cart-style shopping--quick and easy.
WCC’s prices appear cheaper than some MOMs at the ounce level (I do not buy bulk, nor comment on it’s pricing), however, their cannabis all hovers around the AAA (+/-) mark, so the pricing scheme is fairly aligned with the quality.
Communication:
Communication since my first order with WCC has been fantastic. They really seem to want to please their customers, and that is always a high selling point for me. After the 10-day shipping fiasco that my first order with WCC went through, they contacted me personally to offer a new sampling of fresher products to apologize for the shipping delay. In my opinion, that offer was over and above in terms of customer service, as the shipping delay was obviously the fault of the rotating Canada Post strike.
Packaging:
Standard CP mailer, inside which was a vac-sealed freezer-lock bag containing the small mylar sample bags. No moisture control but for this order, it wasn’t an issue, as all of the flower arrived very fresh.

Blueberry Afghan: Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/4O9wevf.jpg
WCC’s blueberry afghan is a tad hit and miss for me. It has a really appealing high, great hybrid mix of body stone and euphoria that leaves you just functional enough to get things done, but with a large grin on your face--if not fully giggly. The drawback, for me, is the smell and taste, it has a largely artificial sweet smell and taste, and the smell reminded me a lot of their Lemon Drop, which I detested for the same reason. The first few puffs in a vape come off so sweet that it’s a bit ridiculous: weed just doesn’t taste or smell like this, and it’s too much. I can imagine there are a number of people out there who really like, or don’t know any better, regarding flavour chemicals in cannabis, but I know better, I don’t like it, and this weed is chalk full of it. That said, I WOULD smoke this weed again, I’m not sure I’d outright purchase it, but I would smoke somebody’s elses’. :P The bud was nicely trimmed and dense; well cured and broke apart easily. There’s a solid amount of trichomey goodness to the Blueberry Afghan, and I’d say it is a solid AAA, in terms of potency and duration of effects.

Purple Space Cookies: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/Ak5kYAY.jpg
This is my first experience with PSC, and I was very surprised when I pulled it out of the bag--it doesn’t look much like any other strain I’ve ever had. The greens are very light and have an almost yellow hue to them, the pistils are near yellow, the purples are muted, and it has a scraggly/not-scraggly sort of density that is just bizarre. The smell and taste of the PSC is much more appealing than the Blueberry Afghan--I didn’t get any of that gross artificiality. To the contrary, the PSC is rather appealing, it has a distinctly floral scent to it, that gets maybe a wee bit skunky when broken up. The vapour flavour is tantamount to the smell; floral and quite smooth at most temps. I loved the buzz that I got from this bud, it is a cross between Durban Poison and Girl Scout Cookies from my understanding, and in my opinion, you can’t get much better than that with a sativa. The euphoria was strong as hell, my head felt like a hot-air balloon running maximum furnace. I seriously could smoke this bud all day, everyday. That said, I do not think that WCC’s PSC is the most potent example to be had out there, but it is a quality AAA sativa at $150 an oz, and I’d happily fork over that cash for this bud.

Gorilla Glue #4: Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/0t2ko9l.jpg
Having given WCC’s GG#4 a 3.5/5 rating in a previous review, I was curious to see how this batch would stack up. To begin with, this batch of the Glue has a very earthy aroma, and becomes exponentially gassy once broken up. The gassiness carries through in the vape flavour, and I found the vapour a little tickly on the throat, but I find that is common with all GG#4 (also cottonmouth!). The potency is definitely higher with this batch of GG#4, though I found less glue and more euphoria in terms of its effects. It certainly wasn’t the impossible bodylock of a high-order quad version of this strain (I’ve definitely had stronger, and been more paralyzed), but at $140oz (currently), this bud is an excellent value. WCC’s GG#4 is very fresh and tacky, and I don’t recommend wrecking your aunt Rhonda’s best scissors chopping it up for your blunts. I’d grade this bud AAA+; the effects are potent, long lasting, and it doesn’t take massive quantities to get a good heavy stone. I can’t comment on bag appeal with larger quantities, but the sample I had was excellently trimmed and attractive. There’s a good amount of bang for your buck with WCC’s GG#4, and it will be high on my order consideration list next time around.

Great White Shark: Indica Dominant-Hybrid?
https://i.imgur.com/NnFft5g.jpg
GWS was another strain that I had previously ordered from WCC, and just happened to be my favourite of the four I had ordered, so I was happy to be able to do a comparison to the previous batch. This time around, the GWS was spring fresh and so sticky that I had to pry it off of the inside of the bag, which was a welcome experience over my last WCC order, that had become lost in an impossible shipping dimension for 10 days and dried right out during its travels. This GWS is highly gassy, both in nose and flavour, and comes fairly close to living up to its namesake, having a good amount of cloudy trichomes whiting out the leaves. The stone is fairly cerebral for an indica, which is probably why I like it, because you get a really nice hybridization of effects that lends itself well to leisurely activities. WCC prices their GWS at $150, and in this reviewer’s opinion, that’s a damn fine buy. The potency is high, not exceptional, it isn’t a quad and it isn’t priced like one, but for what it is, and for how it is priced, it’s a solid investment. The bud is dense but not stone, the cure and trim are excellent, and the magnitude of tackiness will be a high selling point to old school stoners. Overall, I’d say this batch of GWS was a bit higher in potency than the last batch I had, and the effects lasted notably longer.
My Rating: 4.2/5… definitely AAA+ (IMO--this is an opinion piece, afterall. No need to become visibly upset if you do not agree.)
O.G. Shark: Indica-Dominant Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/csZ13OK.jpg
O.G. Shark is a good deal more indica leaning than the other Shark swimming in this review, and it is decidedly more therapeutic in its effects--drowsiness/pain relief/etc. Case in point: I only got through the first sentence of this paragraph before passing out cold from a 0.2g bowl, and had to resume reviewing again some hours later. The O.G. Shark is probably the closest to a quad that I received from WCC this time around. It is caked in mature cloudy trichomes, the effects hit hard with just a couple of exhales and the sedation experienced therein is high-order. To my senses, the aroma and flavour of this bud are quite sweet and floral with just a hint of skunk. WCC’s O.G. Shark is a vape duration champion: one 0.2g bowl went over 10 minutes in the Solo II! While it may not be the most functional stone I have experienced, it was very therapeutic for sleeping and I wouldn’t even blink an eye buying more for that purpose. At $170oz, the O.G. Shark is one of the higher priced strains at WCC, but given the potency, fantastic trim and cure, and general attractiveness of the strain, I’d say that the extra $20-30/oz is well worth it.
My Rating: 4.6/5
Black Rose: Indica
https://i.imgur.com/1Xs7p0p.jpg
Black Rose(s) is a strain I was familiar with prior to trying WCC’s sampling, so I had an idea of what to expect. WCC’s Black Rose has an initial floral scent, and once you bust it open, there’s a really interesting sour/peppery note that jumps out at you. I found this batch of BR creeped quite a bit more than the last one that I had, and it caught me off guard--I was halfway through loading up another bowl of it when the high from the first bowl hit, ZANG! It is not always the case with every strain, but with Black Rose, one can safely use its deep purple colouration as a signifier of it’s nighttime use potential. It is a fairly sedative indica, and I imagine is great for people who suffer insomnia. Black Rose isn’t as potent as the O.G. Shark, but it has a much more appealing vapour flavour, being sweet and floral without coming off as excessively artificial. The vapour of this BR is fairly smooth, and I experienced only a bit of barking at upper temps. WCC’s Black Rose isn’t the strongest example I’ve had, while it has nice indica effects, the high isn’t super powerful or long lasting, and I’d probably go somewhere around AAA- in assigning a letter grade. If I was going to go for sleepy indicas, I’d probably skip the BR, spend the extra $20 and get an ounce of O.G. Shark ($150 and $170 an ounce, respectively), as it is much more potent.

Black Diamond: Indica
https://i.imgur.com/4zwWOvy.jpg
WCC had their work cut for them with the Black Diamond, as I recently had a primo example of this strain from a competing MOM. Albeit a sample, the buds of WCC’s Black Diamond were very small, under popcorn size, though very dense. The aroma of this bud once broken up is staunchly gassy, and it’ll fill a room in no time. The vapour flavour follows suit with the aroma, and is about as gassy as licking a jerry-can nozzle. This batch of Black Diamond had the same tingly, all-over body stone that I had with my first experience, although somewhat less potent. I really enjoy the buzz of the BD, it has that great body stone without being couch-lockey, at least in my first couple of experiences. I found myself still functional having smoked this in the afternoon, and the stone has a pleasantly relaxing and mood uplifting quality to it. I find there is a wee bit of burnout with this one, though; it left me feeling a bit sluggish after the effects wore off, and for that reason I’d probably restrict its future use to nighttime. WCC’s Black Diamond isn’t a quad, but again, it is not priced like one. At $150 an ounce, there is definitely value to be had here. The potency is probably AAA at best, but for the price, it hits on many points of value.

Notes:
While WCC may not be the goto spot for cannabis connoisseurs, as their offering of high-end, high-potency cannabis seems somewhat limited, they are definitely a great spot for those on a budget to find great flowers at excellent prices. For an average of $140-$150/oz, WCC’s variety of budget options are vast, and each strain that I tried seems to be fairly priced in terms of its quality and potency.

Orde...ring is a cinch, fill your cart, check out, fire off an e-transfer and you’re all set. Pricing is very competitive with some products at SpeedGreens, their Everest shatter is decently priced, they have regular sales, and great quads for those that have the money to buy top-tier product.
Communication:
I tend to use email to communicate with MOMs, and SpeedGreens are extremely fast with their replies, and very helpful with the information they provide. Having personally had an issue with one of their products, I can attest to how quickly and professionally SG deals with customer complaints. For those reasons, I highly recommend SpeedGreens, they bring a high degree of professionalism to the table, though every business has a hiccup here and there at the beginning.
Packaging:
I rave a little about packaging below, but SpeedGreens has some of the best packaging of any mom around. The packages come in a proper shipping box, inside which will be a large, opaque mylar bag, further inside which have frequently been pill bottles containing boveda packs and flower. The budders and shatters all have their own mylar bags, and nothing ever feels at risk of spilling or breaking.

Black Dog: Indica-Dominant Hybrid (85/15)
https://i.imgur.com/FxsOz5A.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/0AVR1LK.jpg
Holy smokes, this is like the holiday festival of cannabis buds, the colours are beautiful--a dozen shades of green and purple, and even some browns! Black Dog has a rather musty/earthy aroma and flavour to it, with a hint of diesel or gassiness that comes out when broken up (a bit like Death Bubba). As with all SpeedGreens quads, the bud is fresh, excellently cured, and absolutely drunk with trichomey goodness. The high of the Black Dog strain is deeply relaxing without being overly sedative--I experienced a headband effect with a calming body stone that would be excellent for Sunday evening horror movie marathons and on-demand snacking events. The vapor is fairly smooth, smoother than Death Bubba, which I see as a close proxy to this strain, and I didn’t have any of the level 9 coughing fits that I had with the Citrique. The duration of effects isn’t quite as long as some of SpeedGreens other quads, and there’s a noticeable burnout. Black Dog would be a good after-work relaxer, and while it isn’t the most potent of SpeedGreens quad offerings, it’s price is slightly more forgiving ($193oz, as compared to $229oz for Black Roses).

Black Roses: Indica-Dominant Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/21dyvNi.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/iCYwfEU.jpg
My nose likes the smell of this strain. It might be the best smelling cannabis strain I have had lately--it has a potent, sweet/floral scent juxtaposed with diesel, and it is highly intoxicating without coming off as excessively artificial. The vapor flavour is the same, in fact, I’m going to go so far as to say this strain tastes delicious! I’d dip a steak in a sauce with this flavour--seriously, I found myself wanting to keep shoving more fresh bud in the vape to keep tasting it. The potency wouldn’t allow for that, however, as multiple bowls of Black Roses will result in a drooling sleep paralysis-type state. Hell, the appearance of it alone just screams, “USE ME AT NIGHT,” for all of its muted dark greens, purples and oranges--it looks tired, and after using it, so will you. The bud is farm-fresh, excellently cured, and expertly trimmed with just the right amount of density (not loose leaf paper, but not igneous rock). The potency of the Black Roses is up there, as can be guessed at by the abundance of milky trichomes, and due to the fairly lengthy duration of its effects, would be a great strain for insomnia or restlessness (use it to combat the effects of Citrique, lol).
My Rating: 5/5… A True Quad.
Funky Skunk: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/UQv4pG2.jpg
What a sexy looking specimen this bud is! It’s big and fresh, and sticky and smells like a big ol’ bushel of fresh-cut flowers, with just the slightest note of skunk. I love getting packages from SpeedGreens, because I know the flower is going to exceptionally fresh, they have always shipped with Boveda no matter how small the amount, and it is hugely appreciated. Thanks to the boveda, the Funky Skunk arrived nice and sticky--I mean some of the freshest weed I’ve ever had come off of a postal truck. The bud is lacquered in trichomes and bright orange pistils, and one can tell just by looking at this bud, that it is a happy buzz. As it is a sativa dominant hybrid, the stone is quite heady, not quite euphoric--I wasn’t spaced out, I was able to concentrate quite well, but with an extra dose of happiness while doing it. Funky Skunk is great daytime weed, the high is energetic, clear headed, and won’t intoxicate you to a level of complete uselessness. That said, the vapour was harsh, really harsh--I was barking the whole way through the bowl and my throat was raw as hell by the end. While I really enjoyed this buzz, I don’t think I could sell myself on buying more and toughing out the harshness.
My Rating: Potency: 4.5/5 Vapour quality: 2.5/5 HARSH!
Citrique: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid (Near Balanced)
https://i.imgur.com/1IXXjd4.jpg
I am finding that I am not always a fan of these “balanced” strains when they are highly potent--I can smoke AA balanced-hybrids all day long, but when they get to the quad range, the effects start to feel a tad sketchy with some strains. For me, it slightly feels like the indica and sativa effects are battling for dominance, and it just makes me feel uneasy and restless. If you are a fan of the potent, balanced hybrids, then Citrique certainly fits that profile. In just a few exhales I could feel both a strong body stone, and strong cerebral effects come over me--my body kept wanting to fall asleep, while my mind raced like crazy… Not for me. However, I know there are people out there who this is for, and let me assure you, it is another large, fresh, trichome stacked, ice-fall of a bud, and it has a fairly strong smell of citrus skunk (perhaps slightly artificial smelling). The vapour is the same, cirtus skunk and a tad on the artificial side--much smoother than the Funky Skunk, however. The effects are strong and longer lasting than I would have liked, lol. It’s potent, high quality cannabis, but it isn’t a strain I’d use frequently, maybe here and there for a weird energy, day buzz. (My rating reflects only the literal quality of the bud, it does not reflect my personal taste for the type of effects experienced.)
My Rating: Potency: 4.5/5
Sour Patch Kids: Indica-Dominant Hybrid (Near Balanced)
https://i.imgur.com/f6dItid.jpg
Sour Patch Kids is another near balanced strain, however, this one leans more toward it’s indica lineage, and for that reason, I find the effects much more agreeable to my constitution. I did not find the highs competing for dominance with this one, it is decidedly more indica, and I found none of the sketchiness that I experienced with the Citrique. SpeedGreens SPK has great bud/bag appeal, the bud is big, insanely fresh, has a gorgeous floral/earthy smell, and is spattered in cloudy trichomes and bright orange pistils. The earthy/floral vapour that SPK produces is fairly smooth, but I did find it a bit tickly on the throat at higher temps. I could see folks enjoying this bud for recreational outings, its has a great, giggly day buzz, with little burnout, and its has a good psychoactive component for enjoying the great out-of-doors. The potency is right on point for a quad, and the effects from just a small amount are long lasting. Overall, I recommend the Sour Patch Kids to those folks looking for a fun-energy, giggly day buzz, with a light burnout.

Ordering & Pricing:

My Rating: 4.5/5

General Notes:
To their credit, The Green Ace seems to hand select very high quality cannabis. I had a hard time finding anything in these samples that wasn’t at least approaching a quad. The cure of the cannabis in general is some of the best I have ever had over many strains from a single MOM, and I was highly impressed by it. It might seem as though these ratings are inflated, with so many 5’s and 5+’s, but the bar for quads is continually pushed higher, and I may have to start dishing out cinques. The Green Ace really challenged and reformed my notion of what high end cannabis can be.
Pink Kush: Indica-Dominant Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/cWlEiYo.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/OVVGWPX.jpg
Folks who read my reviews know this is one of my personal favourites and always a welcome addition to my cannabinoid receptors. I’m always excited to see how each MOMs Pink Kush stacks up, and The Green Ace’s is some of the nicest Pink Kush I have had in some time, and that includes from local dispensaries prior to shutting down. It has the same brilliant cure that the Romulan strain has, and working with it for the purpose of vaporization is a cinch. You can tell your Pink Kush is high quality when it’s typically musty odour and flavour is fairly faint, which it is with this batch. Typically I find the vapour a bit harsh with Pink Kush, but this was the exception to that rule, I hardly coughed at all. The bud is dense and has the same quality cure that seems common among all of The Green Ace’s strains. The quad nature of this Pink Kush is markedly apparent by the trichome varnish that coats its surface, and it boasts a vigorous body buzz, which is long lasting and not overly sedative--great evening bud! Overall, I loved this offering of the PK!

Pink Star: Indica
https://i.imgur.com/I28GjGw.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/J6XWoR1.jpg
Geeze, G.A., way to send me the crappy buds (sarcasm). :P This bud is like a post-impressionist painting (think Van Gogh); it is painted at level of colour and beauty typically reserved for art. The resin that has sapped out of this primo nugget is so thick, the trichomes so dense, that it felt like I was getting cumulus clouds out of the vape for weeks. The vapour flavour and the bud aroma has a strong gassy/diesel quality--so strong, in fact, that there is a bit of a lingering aftertaste. The Green Ace isn’t mucking about when it comes to potency at the high end--this is strong, strong stuff--it’ll get ya proper goof-balled. Like the Black Diamond (see Part I), I found this strain to have potent indica effects (strong body stone, very relaxed, etc), but didn’t have the heavy couch lock that the Tom Ford has (see below),--couch lock can be nice, but it’s not very often that I want to feel paralyzed. Definitely not daytime weed, and probably not a socializing weed, this strain would be good for medical patients and chronic ’thing’ sufferers. It might be a bit heavy for playing video games or really doing anything halfway functional, but it depends on your constitution. Good strong medicine, and a top-3 reorder consideration.
My Rating: 5/5
Romulan: Indica
https://i.imgur.com/bbnwfNt.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/3NhjDmW.jpg
I have no grow experience, but having sampled and reviewed over 40 different strains and grows lately, and I can honestly say I am beginning to understand what represents an expert-level cannabis cure. It breaks up very easily by hand, it does not crumble it just comes apart, it has a softish texture that is not moist, but not dry, it will immediately increase in aroma the second it is broken up, and when you pack it into a vape, it leaves natural gaps and neither falls out the end (too dry), nor squishes into a wad (too moist). Many (but not all) of The Green Ace’s strains have this quality cure, and the Romulan might be the best of all--it was just a pleasure to work with and to vape.
The Romulan that The Green Ace provided me was highly intoxicating, its not quite like being drunk, but it will certainly throw your coordination off kilter, while also being extremely relaxing. I didn’t find that this grow of Romulan had quite the body-lock I am used to with this strain, it was perhaps harvested just prior to that stage, and I didn’t feel overly fatigued by it. The aroma of this Romulan was rather floral with a skunk tail to my nose. The amount of resin on this bud is reaching preposterous levels, it has the appearance of having been laminated in some spots--there’s little denying this is a quad! The buzz is a bit euphoric if daydreamy, and I melted into a chair for a time. Romulan remains a popular strain for a reason.

Skunky Diesel: Indica Dominant Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/E4XuHuN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/6L6kSgY.jpg
Some strains have extremely practical names that perfectly describe the aromatic qualities of the bud, and Skunky Diesel is certainly one of them. It reeks to high hell of its namesake, and the vapour quality is the same. Nothing better than opening a fresh bag of weed and having the smell overtake the room like a hovering ghoul. The skunky diesel bud is lithic--dense as stone, and seems to just keep breaking up, more and more and more! Like all of The Green Ace’s strains, the Skunky Diesel bud is glazed-over with highly mature trichomes. Vape quality is fairly smooth, though not as silky as the Black Diamond (see Part I) seemed to be. The effects are heavily sedative--I wasn’t tired and it knocked me out for four hours, so don’t expect to get a lot done smoking this bud. Clearly, it would be welcome therapy for insomniacs, but would be good for pain relief as well. The high hits fast and lasts a good nap-length amount of time.

Strawberry Cheesecake: Indica Dominant Hybrid (70/30, according to Leafly)
https://i.imgur.com/CZTIh20.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Pj3hWvT.jpg
I’m glad I received one strain that does not live up to its namesake in aroma and flavour. While it is a sweeter smelling strain, and I might have even got a hint a vanilla, I don’t get strawberry cheesecake at all, in either the smell or flavour. The vapour was interestingly cool, and I have not experienced this sensation very often from cannabis. As far as The Green Ace’s primo buds are concerned, this one is a little on the ugly side (a tad leafy), but it’s lacking in sex appeal shouldn’t dissuade you from giving it a try. I found it has a primarily cerebral high, which I was not expecting from this strain given that it is indica-dominant, and might be due to the harvest time. Regardless, the potent, euphoric high was a welcome change from all the heavily sedative indicas that Green Ace provided me (I think they were trying to put me into a coma for two weeks). Not unlike the previous strains, the lackering of trichomes nearing the top of the bud is a thing of wonder, and just a pinch will keep you lifted for a good minute.

Tom Ford Pink: Indica

https://i.imgur.com/lTtwj3z.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/KSiovW3.jpg
I have heard tell of this mythical strain, and now having tried it, all I can say is F$#@ing WOW! Firstly, let’s start with the fact that it looks like it was grown on venus by xenomorphs. Purples, oranges, browns, blues, greens--you name it, this bud is the gay pride parade of weed! Both buds of the Tom Ford Pink I received were smallish popcorn in size, but I have to say, the potency took me by surprise for such little nugs. They are fully painted in final-stage trichomes, consisting of a thickly-cloudy, amber colour, which typically signals a more “couch-locky” effect. The couchlock was definitely apparent here, though it takes 10 or 15 minutes to fully cripple you, and I experienced a good degree of the classic pressure behind the eyes sensation. I absolutely loved the smell and taste of the Tom Ford Pink--to my senses it comes off with a strong diesel quality, and the vapour was impressively dense and smooth. The effects are strong and very long lasting--if you aren’t in a wheelchair, you will be after one square-dance with this freak. Top-3 reorder contender.

Since I did not legitimately register with The Green Ace, I cannot comment on signup, however, I did have a look over the site and process and it is a fairly standard registration form, much like many other MOMs and ecommerce platforms. I like The Green Ace’s website, it is clean, fast, and devoid of too much flashy distracting garbage, plus the 3D views of flower are a nice touch!
Ordering & Pricing:
No legitimate purchase was made in this case, so I cannot comment on ordering.
Pricing, for the quality of bud The Green Ace carries, runs the gamut from fair, to a wee bit high, to absolutely smokin’ deals--it really depends on the individual and their budget.
Communication:
I did all of my communicating with The Green Ace by email, and he/they is/are very down to Earth, on the level, knowledgeable pot people. Communication was fast, clear, and professional, and I had absolutely zero issues in this department.
Packaging:
Samples came packaged in a proper shipping box (yay!), inside of which was a sealed bag containing the mylar sample bags. No smell was apparent, and the package was entirely inconspicuous.

Annihilator Kush: Balanced Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/PJ1vhUF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/zptMx1q.jpg
Annihilator kush is a happy looking, orangey, pistil-coated, balanced hybrid strain, that is characterized by a strong pinene presence--it smells and tastes like sucking on an evergreen sapling. Annihilator is priced at $110 an ounce right now, and as such, makes it Green Ace’s primary budget option for flower. At $110 an ounce, I half expected this bud to be around AA in terms of potency, and I couldn’t have been more wrong. While it was not a duration champ in the vaporizer, the effects are surprisingly strong. I found it creeped hard, and the buzz was both a strong head and body high, so strong, in fact, I probably wouldn’t recommend this to folks who suffer anxiety and paranoia, or prefer a calming stone, because this isn’t it. It’s quite a high energy buzz, and coming off of a calm stone, it felt chaotic. Use of this strain would definitely be reserved to daytime, and perhaps even mood based. I wouldn’t want to feel this “edgy” all the time, but if I were out getting life done, this would probably be a suitable option. Vapour was a tad harsh, but I find any strain with this amount of orange pistils is typically a tad tickly on the throat. I think straight sativa people and balanced hybrid lovers might find quite a deal in the price offered at The Green Ace on this strain, and I’d advise those folks to give it a look. People who are not fans of an edgy, caffeine’sih buzz, stay far away.

Black Diamond: Indica
https://i.imgur.com/kMrpB79.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/lEikSVQ.jpg
I think Green Ace was out to prove a point here: I wanted to have this bud cast in acrylic resin and save it for all time! By far the most impressive looking bud with which I have ever come in contact. You see pictures of this type of quality, but I half assumed they were hoaxes. The mature trichomes are off the charts--the bud looks like it has a worm infestation--tentacle porn! Vapour was less dense than the Tom Ford Pink, but jurassically potent and ultra smooth. For me, this buzz creeped HARD; after 10 minutes I was a whole other level more intoxicated than I was off of the first few puffs--it was quite surprising and I’d caution people to keep that in mind before they blast back ten joints of this cannamadness. I had never heard of the Black Diamond strain prior to Green Ace, and now I think I need an Antonov carrier jet full of it. Both the Tom Ford Pink (reviewed in Part II) and Black Diamond had a strong body stone, but I found it to be more intense with Black Diamond. I could feel the tingling effects all throughout my body, even down through the bottoms of my feet, but without the heavy couchlock (in my case, anyway). I’ve seen some good quads at this point, but this might be beyond your typical quad. The Black Diamond was a dark horse in my Green Ace experience, and it won the bronze, silver, and gold trophies simultaneously. It’s hard to remain reserved with the rating for posterity when the cannabis blows your mind to this degree. Black Diamond is on sale for $130 an ounce presently, and if you have the money sitting around, you need to go buy one, because that price for this quality weed is bloody unheard of; no exaggeration.

Bubba Kush: Indica

Bubba Kush is a strain that I probably don’t have to say a whole lot about in terms of its effects. The bubba is a Canadian staple crop, and I do believe that every man, woman and child in this country has smoked it (hopefully not children, but probably). The Green Ace’s Bubba Kush is masterful--I got completely lost in the magic of the photo that it offered me--observe the complete lacquering of trichomes! The bud I received was stupendously dense without being a rock--it has the The Green Ace expert-level cure that I will often rave about in this review. The aroma and flavour is extremely gassy, and the vapour was flavourful even after a 5 minutes in the Solo II! In fact, this bubba was still producing proper clouds well into the second 5 minute session, beginning at 220C--that’s bloody unheard of! If you like Bubba Kush, and are looking for the absolute highest quality, I would put this way up at AAAA+... I got really, really stoned off of this bad boy--for a long, long time. It is a deeply relaxing stone that is perfect for drifting off to sleep.

Death Bubba: Indica

The Green Ace’s Death Bubbs has the best fragrance of any Death Bubba that I have had. It has a rousing skunky, earthy, citrus smell and taste, and was slightly more moist than some of Green Ace’s other strains. The massive clouds of vapour were a bit harsh at higher temps, but that is a quality I find common to almost all crops of Death Bubba, and may explained away by the thick coating of resinous trichomes. For those who know it, Death Bubba is one of those rare, and welcome indica strains that don’t have a heavily sedative quality, it is a mix of body stone and psychoactive headiness, and I find it great for video gaming and watching movies--an all around evening king. The potency of The Green Ace’s Death Bubba is, like most of their strains, quite high, and the effects are stout and enduring. Fan’s of this strain won’t be disappointed with The Green Ace’s offering, its above average for the Death Bubba I have seen around lately. Not quite a quad, but a solid, high-trip.

Money Maker: Indica

https://i.imgur.com/gn5qR2S.jpg
Money Maker is quite the cross--Master Kush, Hindu Kush and Skunk No. 1, and when I read it’s lineage I had to admit I was quite excited to try it. The Money Maker has a powerfully sweet and sour thing going on; unbroken I got an overall sweet aroma, then once the bud is broken open, a strong skunky smell comes pouring out. The same quality was true of the vapour, my tastebuds were confused as to which flavour highway we were travelling on. This is very potent weed, but not in the way I expected. I expect a reasonably heavy indica sensation, what I got instead, was a bit of a racing heart, and I could feel my blood pressure rise slightly. I’m not a huge fan of that sensation, it’s a bit like the cocaine of weed when it happens and if I wanted cocaine, I’d just snort cocaine (I do not, however). Other than that, it’s good strong weed and I definitely didn’t find myself sitting around, worrying about the problems that plague my life. The vapour was tad harsh at higher temperatures but it was nowhere near as harsh as the Pineapple Express (see below). I think this bud might be a bit of an acquired taste. It had a high that was really unusual in its hybridized effects, and I found myself liking it one minute, and hating it the next. I’d say this high is a bit like riding a wave, and if that sounds appealing to you, then you must try it, because it certainly is a quad in terms of potency.

Pineapple Express: Sativa Dominant Hybrid

https://i.imgur.com/ElTp44C.jpg
Ahh, the strain of much contemporary pop-folklore! I doubt there’s a whole lot I can say about this strain that people don’t already know--its a strong, energetic sativa that is superb for day use and creativity. Green Ace’s PE has probably the strongest apple terpene that I have experienced with this strain, it comes across straight off the unbroken bud, and just overwhelms the taste buds in the vape flavour. Though it tastes fantastic for the first couple mins in the heat, I found Green Ace’s PE harsh as hell--I was barking like the hound of the baskervilles pretty much the whole way through the bowl, and it left my throat feeling raw. The potency is certainly there, I was feeling the effects off of just a few draws and it was a long lasting, cerebrally focused high--I was sucked right inside the new Mumford and Sons album while high on the PE (great album, btw). If it weren’t for the harshness, this would certainly be some of the better PE I have had, it is a buzz I could live my life on.

Damn near every strain I tried from The Green Ace was a potency champion, and while the prices at The Green Ace may be slightly higher on average than some MOMs, the quality is a guarantee, and some of their sale prices are phenomenal. It seems to me that The Green Ace is gearing itself toward the cannabis connoisseur, and if I were looking for guaranteed potency and bag appeal, I would be ordering here 100%.

General Notes:
After my review of the sample products I received ...from the fine folks at FarmHard, I figured I would be a fool to not pick up a cheap mixed oz. I decided to go with a half and half of AK and Texada, as I already had a lot of indica sitting around, and I wanted something that would facilitate the creative process (I write shitty music). I found both the AK and the Texada had an almost psychedelic quality to them--my hearing was enhanced, and that is exactly what I wanted.
I wanted to show something slightly different with this review, so I combusted a couple bowls by open-flame to show the colour of the ash, as this seems to be highly important to some people.
As can be seen in the pics, FarmHard’s cannabis burns to extremely clean, white ash.

AK-47: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/cbFumvL.jpg
I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had some larger buds in this half ounce than I received in the sample package. Largest bud was a little over 1.5g, so not huge by any means, but much larger than the Texada by comparison. This round of AK had slightly more nose to it, still grassy, but there was more natural terpenes detectable in a larger batch, especially once I picked some stem out and stored it in a glass jar for a couple days. To my nose (which sucks), it came off a bit floral on-top of the grassy smell, which played quite nice to my senses. The AK is definitely the nicer looking of the two strains--it has much more bag appeal, slightly lighter green, etc. Lots and lots of nice milky trichomeys; and the buzz is as I described it in earlier reviews--a long lasting stone that takes a while to creep up to maximum. I dig this strain, and I dig healthy organic weed. I’m going to stick with my original assessment.

Texada Timewarp: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid
https://i.imgur.com/iB3SZwi.jpg
I wasn’t sure what I’d get as far as bud size with the Texada--I half figured by the samples that it would be quite small and dense, and I was dead on with that assessment. Not a single bud over 1g in this half ounce, and the Texada has that goofball, elongated bud structure I talked about in my initial review. The lack of bag appeal may be disappointing for some, however, when you take into account how it grinds up, the potency, and the price, I could really care less if buds are a little smaller than in my wildest dreams. Bud size is primarily aesthetics and I ain’t about it--function over form, all day long. Again, because of the larger portion, I could detect more natural terpene profile above the grassy smell, moreso even than with the AK. The aroma of the texada is rather spicy and peppery to my nose. This texada was exactly the same as the samples I had received, it had the same great cure, and the same potency. I can see why they call this stuff timewarp, because I feel like I am spacing right out of this dimension. I started a modest bowl at the beginning of a 90 minute movie, and I still wasn’t done it by the end--the buzz just seems to last forever, and with very little burnout, as some others have mentioned. I like this bud, and I’m sticking to my original grading.

Blonde’sih Kief Sample (2.5g!):
https://i.imgur.com/nInUZid.jpg
Who doesn’t love a bit of kief in a joint or on a bowl of AA schwag to punch it up a notch? This here kief is perfect for that task. It isn’t the ultra-fine sifted blonde kief that you can buy from some places for exorbitant prices, but it is well sifted, potent kief that is great on its own, or especially great mixed with other items. Homemade moonrocks is my next project, and this shall be their topping.

7g of Pink Kush House ’Shatter’ (Sap)?...: AA
https://i.imgur.com/maX1xRb.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/gczwp0I.jpg
The Negatives:
Well, this marks the first time I have bought shatter that came with a warning telling me that it is not shatter until I put it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes, each time I want to use it... every... single... time. Sounds annoying, right? Hell yes it’s annoying, AF! I lost a bunch of it just trying to get it off the damn wax paper into a silicone container--the paper kept tearing, I kept swearing, and no good came of it. Now, I have read one review on SpeedGreens website, where one guy claims that after he left it in silicone for a few days, it hardened up to a more shatter-like consistency, and I will have to update this review at a later date to either confirm or deny that claim. But as it stands right now, after only a few mins at room temperature, this ’shatter’ turns into the worst kinda sticky honey type shit that you’d never want to work with. So I can manage to get all of a dab or three, then I gotta fire it back in the freezer cause it has turned into ectoplasm again. Yeesh. Full on nightmare. Having spoken with a friend who makes really good shatter using a closed-loop extractor and vacuum oven, I am now of the understanding that this stickiness could be due to a few factors: 1. the shatter could be under-purged and still have butane in it, but there is no evidence such as popping, sparking, or sizzling to suggest that, 2. the flower may not have been dehydrated to a low enough moisture content prior to extraction, or 3. it may be excessively terpy (it is highly terpy). I’m not entirely sure which of these factors it is, perhaps a combination of a couple of them, but it makes for impossibly sticky sap at room temperature.
I have a couple complaints here: first of all, this is NOT shatter, so please stop selling it as such. Second of all, the warning that was sent with my package is NOT on the website, it 100% should be. Having tried their ’AAAA’ shatter, which has a proper shatter consistecy, I am of the opinion that selling this shit as shatter and dropping in some lame cop-out blurb, passing the buck to the customer; ’our house shatter sucks, but here, you deal with it,’ is bad business.
Feels like bait and switch, and I ain’t smiling.
https://i.imgur.com/jcEb7AM.jpg
The Positives:
I got it for the Black Friday price, thank god... When you finally manage to get this off of everything in the house and into a banger, it has a nice terpy profile, it seems to burn clean, it is smooth on the throat, and it has sort of a medium-potency pink kush shatter high.
Conclusion:
If this were SHATTER, like the website said, I’d be ecstatic, but being this hard to work with, I’m honestly quite let down.
My Rating: Potency: 5/10, Ease of Use: 2/10
Incentive for Review:
Your respect.
Notes:
If you can figure a better way to use it than spending 10 minutes freezing it, then spending another 20 cleaning it off of everything, then by all means pick some up, the potency is certainly there for the price. But if you have children and tend to curse, do not buy this, your kids will be talking like sailors in minutes.
YEESH.
P.S. Let this review mark a point in history, where all my haters can eat their words, as this negative review comes directly off the back of having recently received free product (NOT FREE, these reviews are hard work) from this company. If the product sucks, I’ll state it every goddamn time. Getting sick and tired of snidely posts from a couple of overly opinionated trolls around here.

Fire O.G. Kush: Indica Dominant Hybrid (70/30)
https://i.imgur.com/1KWRlJE.jpg
Fire O.G. Kush is another strain that was new to me at the outset of this review, and I have to say, I am now a big fan. It’s a bit of a weirdo to look at; tall, slender and a bit leafy, but holy mother of zeus, is it fantastically caked in milky and amber trichomes. Spice lovers rejoice, the Fire O.G. has a medium-spicy quality to the nose and vapour flavour, which for me, was a welcome change from all the “berry” and sweet bud I have had lately. The potency of this bud caught me hugely off-guard, I thought it might make for a relaxing evening stone, but it’s more like a coma inducer (for me anyway). I vaped one 0.2g bowl and it knocked me out cold while I was still sat at my laptop typing this paragraph. The only other green I’ve had that knocked me out this hard lately (granted, I was a little on the tired side), was SpeedGreens’ Godberry, and that’s a primo quad, so I am pleasantly surprised by the sheer potency of Shamrock’s Fire O.G. considering it’s modest grading of AAA (I’d say AAA+). Insomniacs would be wise to have a look at this strain.
My Rating: 4.5/5
Northern Lights X Haze: Indica Dominant Hybrid (70/30)
https://i.imgur.com/ErdqQCt.jpg
Shamrock must have been sold out of this strain at the time of writing this review, it is the only strain I was unable to find a letter grade for (perhaps Shamrock can clarify in the comments section). This strain came wrapped up in a raw pre-roll, which I immediately broke up and discarded--I hate RAW, they’re cliche, pop-culture, hip-hop schwag. The pre-roll weighed up at 0.9g, and I suspect it started at 1g before drying slightly. The grind and moisture content of the weed inside the pre-roll was right what it should be for joints, these are solid pre-rolls if that’s your thing. The nose was pretty muted, having been pre-milled and rolled, but I found it had a bit of a spicy note to it, and I didn’t pick up on much of the limonene profile that is typical with haze strains. The limonene came out a bit in the vape flavour, but it was honestly pretty muted also--I’m not a fan of pre-rolls, they tend to be dry and harsh, and if they sit around for any amount of time, they lose all flavour. Since the NLXH inside this pre-roll wasn’t particularly dry (maybe a little), the vapour was surprisingly smooth, though I did cough a bit at the upper range. I find the haze strains are sleight creepers, the stone continues to increase after the bowl is done--I love that sensation and it is definitely present here. This was much more the relaxing evening weed I was looking for.
Haze lovers can’t go wrong, and I’d say the AAA grade is right on point.

Pink Kush: Indica Dominant Hybrid (90/10)
https://i.imgur.com/l3mVIt2.jpg
Again, Shamrock must have been sold out, as I was unable to find a letter grade for their pink kush, but if I had to guesstimate, I’d say it’s high-trip or low-quad. This is nice pink kush, the buds are lush, they are completely iced in milky trichomes, and the nose and vapour flavour have that classic spicy kushy goodness. In my humble opinion, this crop of pink kush was harvested at the perfect time (harvest time and ripeness contribute to the quality of the high, couchlock/non, etc.), it has an ultra-relaxing high without being too couch-lockey or motivationally demolishing. Not a lot of time is needed to review pink kush, people know this strain, suffice it to say, this is a very nice example, indeed.

Double Black by Love + Organic: 100% Indica
https://i.imgur.com/58Tc2LD.jpg
I was so stoked for these organic samples that I had to save the best for last! People who have read my FarmHard review will know that I am quickly becoming a massive organic cannabis fan. It is a cleaner, smoother, and healthier choice that is devoid of the nasty pesticides and flavour chems that are, in this reviewer’s opinion, far too prevalent in the cannabis industry at present. Love + Organic’s Double Black is absolute perfection. For organically grown cannabis, I could not believe the natural terpene profile that was reeking off of this ridiculously dense, immaculately trimmed, expertly harvested and cured, dynamo of a bud. I was fully drunk on the piney, sour aroma that filled my living-room the minute I pulled the bud out of the bag. The vapour flavour is some of the best I’ve had, period, and it is velvety on the throat compared to some non-organic strains I’ve tried lately. The effects of the Double Black are deeply relaxing and long-lasting, without an opioid-level sedation--I did not find myself drooling on the keyboard with this one. By my estimation, this strain is a quality painkiller, though admittedly not as good as the UBC Chemo. Overall, expert-level organic greens: to put it in perspective, if FarmHard grows good organic cannabis, Love + Organic grows STUPENDOUS organic cannabis.
My Rating: 5/5
UBC Chemo by Love + Organic: 100% Indica
https://i.imgur.com/V9VSe1e.jpg
When you start naming cannabis strains after horrible radiological medical treatments, I start expecting a lot--by the way, shouldn’t it be called, UBC Chemo “Relief,” or something to that effect? I don’t want weed that makes me feel like I’m being irradiated. I digress. So, does it live up to it’s namesake? Does it contain the powerfully relieving effects that would be required for patients undergoing chemotherapy? I do not have cancer, but I think this cannabis might offer at least a degree of relief to even the worst illness sufferers. If I may be so bold, it might be the best relief I have experienced from cannabis--not that I am a full-time chronic pain sufferer, but I am a chronic/terminal disease sufferer, and this cannabis offers great relief to a number of my issues (nausea, lack of appetite, sleeplessness, etc.). UBC Chemo is a highly potent and highly sedative cannabis strain, and I do not recommend it for beginners, hell, even some people who think they have a high-tolerance might be surprised--personally, I really had to fight the urge to sleep. The Chemo is another spicy meatball, it especially comes out when ground up, and it carries through in the smooth vapour flavour. The effects are very potent, long-lasting, and medically relevant. Medical users and chronic “thing” sufferers, this is the one for you.

Signup is typical e-commerce, create an account, pick your products, checkout. Pretty standard stuff. The website is clean and easy to navigate, maybe not the most dynamic website around, but in my experience, all that extra webdesign fluff just makes for a chaotic and overly busy customer experience. I much prefer a minimalistic layout with these sites, and Shamrock’s is nicely organized without being excessively aesthetic or “beep-boopy.”
Ordering & Pricing:
No surprises here, the ordering is straightforward and simple.
Shamrock offers a great deal on a $25 first-time customer sample package, that comes with two grams and a pre-roll (strains are your choice), a large plastic grinder, a lighter, a d00b-tube, joint-holder, and one empty RAW pre-roll cone paper, with free shipping. This is a really good deal, you get to try the products, plus a few useful goodies (the grinder is really large and decent), and anything you order in addition to the sample package still includes free-shipping.
Shamrock offers a great mix and match half oz deal. I like these half oz mix deals, it gives you a good sampling of a MOMs products for a fairly reasonable price. Shamrock’s is priced at $105 for the half.
Beyond this, I did not make a legitimate purchase, and thus will refrain from commenting on pricing in general.
Communication:
Good communication, emails were all answered promptly and in a friendly and professional manner.
Packaging:
Standard mailer with products packed and vacuum sealed inside, no scent. Each sample was individually packed in its own mylar bag and all are presented very nicely. Each strain package has a sticker that identifies the strain lineage (indica, sativa, hybrid), as well as their actual ratio (80/20. 60/40, etc.). I highly appreciated seeing those ratios on the strain package, it made it easier to choose for specific times and moods, as I didn’t have to run to Leafly every 10 minutes.
Products / Photos:
General Notes:
As they were samples, each of the buds were generally popcorn sized, save a couple strains, and the trim was good to excellent depending on the strain. Each sample was a medium to high density, and all had an excellent cure.
Sunshine: Sativa Dominant Hybrid (70/30)
https://i.imgur.com/VOyeqMq.jpg
The aroma of the Sunshine bud is a bit hard to describe. It has a primarily sour/skunky nose to it, with a hint of what I can only describe as a chemical type smell, sort of like a mild cleaning product. It isn’t a strong smell, and it’s not terribly “off-putting” per se, but it is there, at least to my schnoz. That same chemical terpene profile came across in the vape flavour as well, but it was fairy short-lived, and became more palatable after a minute or so in the heat. I had a bit of a coughing fit at the upper temps, where it became a wee bit harsh. The effects were surprisingly potent considering the AAA grade, the stone was very cerebral and spacey (this paragraph took forever to get through, I kept spacing out, lol). Overall, the sunshine lives up to its name; it is a happy, energetic high that was great for afternoon use (maybe not for concentration), and is a long-lasting buzz.
My Rating: 4/5
Green Crack: Sativa Dominant Hybrid (65/35)
https://i.imgur.com/GNKLG5R.jpg
I love the look of the green crack strain, it’s so evergreeny and effervescent! The nose on this green crack is a mild but ultra-fresh piney scent that fully carries through in the vaporizer, and I find it quite appealing and refreshing! Green Crack is definitely one of those strains that is known for its high-potency, and one close look at my photo here will tell you why. It is absolutely painted, wall-to-wall in glistening milky and amber trichomes, and the high hits fast. Its funny, the Sunshine and Green Crack are within the same lineage ratio, yet the effects are quite different. The green crack, as many already know, is a high-energy, clear’ish-headed sativa buzz, where as the Sunshine is much more spacey. Green crack is more of a functional daytime weed, for me at least--I am still able to concentrate and get work done. For those who know and love this strain, this is an excellent, clean and potent grow for the money, and I daresay it may be slightly underrated at AAA. The duration of the high was quite long, good value.
My Rating: 4.2/5
Lemon O.G.: Indica Dominant Hybrid (60/40)
https://i.imgur.com/0xy9ELj.jpg
This bud was one of the exceptions with respect to popcorn size--it was a nice, big, frosty nugget. There is a good amount of tackiness to this bud (it was sticking to the side of the mylar bag), and the trichomes, though not the most mature I have seen, have started stacking so high in places that I think they are actively trying to form sugar cubes! The aroma once ground up is a potent, gassy, sour smell that I found really appealing. The Lemon OG is a very sexy looking bud, classic cannabisy with all the trimmin’s, and it is dense like hardwood. I gotta be honest, I don’t typically pickup on a lot of these flavour proxies that the business uses to describe terpene profiles (chocolate, candy, shark :P, etc.), but I did get a note of lemon among the gassy vapor flavour. That flavour lasted quite a while in the vape, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The near balanced hybrid stone came on in just a few exhales and I found this strain very relaxing in an overall sense--quieter mind, calmer body--but it is potent, so I’d be careful feeding it to weed babies. I feel like I need some of this bud for video gaming or watching movies, great for chilling and staying in on them cold winter nights. ;) Shamrock’s Lemon OG produces silky smooth vapour all the way up at 220C, and seems to retain a degree of terpene profile for a pleasantly long time. The effects are long in duration, as they should be with a quad. This is probably the best Lemon OG I have personally tried, and it has made me a lot more curious about this strain--might be great for creativity as it is fairly psychoactive--sounds and colours enhanced, etc. This bud is a re-order no-brainer for me.
My Rating: 4.8/5. Good Stuff!
Pink Rockstar: Indica Dominant Hybrid (60/40)
https://i.imgur.com/OixW8VX.jpg
One of my all-time favourites, I find that pink rockstar has the ability to “take the edge off,” even at the worst of times. You get the anti-anxiety effect of the rockstar, the pain killing effect of the pink kush, and it just makes for great medicine. Shamrock’s letter grade of AAA is pretty much right on point, as the potency (strength and duration) are better than average, but fall short of top-tier. Personally, I find the smell of pink rockstar rather musty, but it is a fresh-musty (oxymoron?), not like a dirty old sock in the sun. Shamrock’s PR is no exception, though it smells quite fresh and slightly mild compared to some grows I have had. The buds here are a bit less dense than some of Shamrock’s other strains but were generally attractive, and fairly coated in trichomes. The vapour is a tad harsh, at most temps, but ultimately, I find that pink rockstar is always a little harsh--a trade off for the potency, I reckon.
My Rating: 3.8/5
Pineapple: Balanced Hybrid (50/50)
https://i.imgur.com/gAVWjmz.jpg
Shamrock’s pineapple has a superb aroma--I’d wear this as cologne. I don’t get “pineapple” from it exactly, it is more like a bouquet of sweet smelling flowers. Have a good look at my photo of this bud, it is one fine cannabis specimen! It’s orangely happy, dense as a mahogany peg-leg, and slathered in mature little trichome buddies. The vapour stayed silky smooth at all temps, and the flavor is strongly floral, which I loved; it’s almost like eating flower petals (I know, I do this). The effects of Shamrock’s pineapple strain are some of the more, truly balanced effects, that I have had the pleasure to try. It really is the best of both the indica and sativa worlds--nice strong body buzz with a psychoactive component--and I could see this being a great social bud to share with friends or to enjoy an evening out. Again, I daresay this bud is a tad underrated at AAA, I think I would lift it up to AAA+ or even AAAA-. I am going to seriously consider re-ordering this strain.

There are definitely a few killer strains that Shamrock carries that I am considering re-ordering, primarily the Pineapple and Lemon O.G. from this half of the review.

General Notes:
To their credit, SpeedGreens provided me with some primetime 1g+ sample buds for photography purposes, and as such I won’t really comment on bud size past here… suffice it to say, they were all juicy! ;). Each bud was both excellently trimmed and cured, with varying degrees of tackiness.
L.A. O.G.: Indica (AAAA)
https://i.imgur.com/CtuZ6Hq.jpg
This marks my first experience with L.A. O.G., and I must say, this bud has a highly appealing stink! It smells like a combination of fresh pine, magical forest musk, and aged cheese. In the vaporizer, the terpene profile comes off as piney and refreshing to my palette, though I doubt it is literally refreshing my foul breath, it just feels like it is, and that’s good enough. :P
The vapor stayed quite smooth and I found that it didn’t axe-murder my throat, or send me into a tuberculosis-level coughing fit. The bud itself was a work of art to behold--like a Jackson Pollock painting re-imagined as cannabis; just a load of colour and frosting to this dense beauty. The effects off of a 0.2g bowl were surprisingly dramatic, I found myself very relaxed and quite intoxicated without being tired or couch locked. It comes on quite strong, then tapers back to the more manageable level of “very stoned” after twenty minutes or so. Great stress reliever or after work-type bud! I had a fling with the L.A. O.G.--I found the effects potent, therapeutic, and long-lasting, and I have to agree with SpeedGreen’s AAAA letter grade.
My Rating: 5/5
Gorilla Glue #4: Indica-Dominant Hybrid (AAAA)
https://i.imgur.com/zWDvFUi.jpg
O-M-G, yep, this is quad GG#4 without a doubt, and another colourful specimen. I didn’t even want to put it in the grinder for fear of gumming it up like a tar pit, the tackiness is out of control. I think I could chuck this bud at a wall and it would stick, no problem. This particular bud es muy gordo (is very fat) and very dense, and because of the stickiness, might present a challenge to joint rollers. The aroma of SpeedGreen’s GG#4 is intoxicating--it’s a gorgeous, strong, piney/peppery-type deal, and I found myself shoving this one up my nose as well. Vapour is very dense and flavourful without being overpowering and I actually found it quite smooth for the potency. For those who know it, GG#4 is a bloody intense body stone, and I probably wouldn’t set my cannabis newbie friends sailing their first voyage on this yacht. For fanboys/girls of GG#4, this is top-tier, full quad, and you can expect a lot of potency here--trichomes are milky, might even be some amber in there, and the buds are RIPE. Fantastic weed, ‘nuff said.
My Rating: 5/5
Amnesia Lemon Kush: Hybrid (AAAA)
https://i.imgur.com/9JgbeUA.jpg
Amnesia Lemon Kush is purportedly a balanced hybrid, and it seems to have that happy, orangey appeal that some balanced hybrids present. I have to say, this is the single most complex and cool looking bud I have ever been in possession of. I’m not sure if this is what is defined as a “crown bud,” but it has nodes or bud tips jutting out at all angles, and is highly dense. Whoever was in charge of this grow is my new personal hero--identify yourself hero, so that I may exalt you! I didn’t want to vaporize it, it was too damn pristine, but alas, vaporized it was.
The ALK has a strong, sour smell to it that is very similar to haze strains. The terpene profile of both the bud aroma and the vapour flavour is potent and delicious! This is the best smelling and tasting bud that I tried among SpeedGreens strains, and I think I want more. The vapour that ALK produces is dense and long lasting--a 0.2g bowl in the vaporizer went well over one session in the Solo II.
A word on potency: I sampled the ALK only a short time after the GG#4, and my head felt doubly stoned, so there must be a great deal of potency in the ALK, to have stepped up on the GG#4! Actually, these two together made for a crazy good hybrid stone, I was high for a long, long-time. :)
This is my favourite of all the strains I tried at SpeedGreens, and it was a damn hard choice.
My Rating: Easy 5/5!
Blueberry Nuken Honeycomb Budder: Indica-Dominant Hybrid (AAAA)
https://i.imgur.com/XOYI2gY.jpg
Save the best for last, as they say, but in this case it was hard to do. This budder has a gorgeous stinky appeal that reminds me of a big-ol-bag of UK Cheese or something--it is highly pungent for a concentrate, and just I want to eat it (I did)! It has a nice terpene profile when dabbed--admittedly, I probably dab a bit too hot, so there is likely more flavour than I picked up on--but I found it just has a nice flavour, not exceptional, and doesn’t have that overwhelming flavour punch that leaves you drooling on the floor (just me?). Dabbing was super smooth, not a hiccup. The appearance is a classic golden/blonde honeycomb budder--it has a perfect consistency, it is easy to work with and to dab, and will tame the savage beast. The high is very relaxing; I had a headache when I started hitting dabs and it was gone after two, so it is certainly a pain/pressure reliever. I found this budder slightly more potent than the AAAA Jack Herer shatter, that I reviewed in part I. I was feeling the effects of a couple of smallish dabs for… how long I don’t know, because I was too stoned. I can’t afford to buy top-tier concentrates often, so I may not be the best judge of their potency, but I would happily pay $29/g for this again. If you are a concentrates user, and you like budder, you should give SpeedGreen’s a look, I think there are some great deals to be had on some exceptional (for the price) budders.
My Rating: 5/5 (Can’t find a fault here, excellent value!)

Simple, but, like most places selling intoxicants that don’t want their doors kicked in, SpeedGreens requires photo ID. I’ve seen a few posts here and on Reddit from people who seem overly concerned with this practice, though I can’t imagine why, it’s standard. That said, I received the ID request after payment had been sent and accepted. The age and identity should be confirmed before payment has been taken. Not sure if this was a temporary thing, or a one-off because my ordering process was slightly unorthodox, having been in contact with them via email first.
Ordering & Pricing:
I am of the opinion that a starfish could get through a successful order with SpeedGreens. The website reeks of ultra-slick e-commerce, though I did spot a conflict between the New Arrivals pricing and the pricing on the rest of the website, possibly leftover from Black Friday sales.
At $209 an ounce for quads, I would say they are worth every penny. Like most MOMS, SpeedGreens seems to always offer budget strains and options, as well as mark-downs on quads (the quad OG Cheese was on for $160oz at the time of this review; good deal!).
Personally, I ordered two grams of concentrates at $29/g, minus the 20% off for new customers, and including the 3.5g dutch treat gift.
Communication:
All I can say is WOW, the communication with SpeedGreens is truly exceptional. This whole company exudes a professionalism that is above par in my opinion, and I sincerely hope they manage to sustain it. Every single communication I had with SpeedGreens was prompt, polite, and professional (the 3 P’s!). Each question or concern I had was addressed extremely rapidly, and in one case, was responded to by multiple parties. I really had zero problems dealing with SpeedGreens, quite the opposite, I find them extremely pleasant people to interact with.
Packaging:
https://i.imgur.com/rHUIQNz.jpg
Packing was fantastic, if a bit excessive: both packages came inside of proper Canada Post shipping boxes, inside of which were comically large mylar bags, which contained further vacuum sealed bags. Beyond the vacuum sealing, the flowers were individually packaged in prescription pill bottles with cutesy photoshop cartoon labels (nice touch!). Each bottle contained it’s own boveda pack and the humidity was spot on. The concentrates each had their own mylar bags, and further packaging within. The take-away here is, while all this packaging is very neat and tidy, it may be a bit excessive for those folks who tend to send this stuff off to the dump. I reuse, so no real gripe.
Here’s where the SPEED in SpeedGreen’s might want to pump the brakes: I had initially placed an order for two grams of concentrates, which included 3.5g of dutch treat. I actually received all of those items, twice! One set shipped in one box, and another set shipped with the samples. Once I realized this mistake had been made, I promptly contacted SpeedGreens to see if it was a shipping error, or if it had been intentional, and further, what to do about it. I received a prompt reply informing me that it had, indeed, been a shipping mix-up on their part and that I was free to keep the items as a gift for the review! Not only that, but I was further contacted in a more formal email, thanking me for my honesty and again, reiterating that I may keep the items as a gift (I had already started smoking them by that point, #DontGottaTellMeTwice, #realtalk).

Godberry: Indica (AAAA)
https://i.imgur.com/kSvMDFy.jpg
Oh my GOD, this BERRY! This might be the most potent and powerful indica I have tried to date. For those who have health conditions such as myself, this bud is pure therapy. Whatever it is you are in need of: pain management, sleep assistance, appetite stimulation, this bud is going to provide you relief. I smoked one 0.2g bowl and it put me into a coma for 7 solid hours. To say it is coated in trichomes is an understatement; I find myself searching more for bud under the trichomes, rather than trichomes over the buds. The quality is exceptional, a true quad through and through. The aroma of the Godberry is an intoxicating sweet skunk smell; I want to shove it up my nose (I did)! Under magnification, there is a good amount of amber to the trichomes, signally a mature bud. The effects are strong and long lasting, though admittedly, this stuff knocks me out everytime, so I’m never awake to experience any effects other than sedation. :)
My Rating: 5/5 SUPERB!
Sour Diesel: Sativa (AAAA)
https://i.imgur.com/lUN8vwM.jpg
I’ve had sour diesel before, but not like this. This sour diesel is like a hydrogen rocketship with no parachute, and no landing gear. The high is intense. I almost thought I was going to start hallucinating mildly. I have never hallucinated from a marijuana high, but I might have gotten close with this. The “come up” is hard and fast, I felt damn near drunk for the first fifteen minutes, and I had to hide my forklift keys so that I wouldn’t get any stupid ideas. All joking aside, its a strong sativa, not exactly a little extra spring in your step, more like full intoxication with a side of coordination problems. I loved that initial 20 minute feeling. What I didn’t like so much was the HARD and sudden burnout. Felt like I went up to the sky, and then got smacked to Earth with a giant ACME mallet. Passed out, over, done. SpeedGreens sour diesel is like an amusement park experience--by the end of the day, the adrenaline, sun, and line-ups have sucked the life out of you. Shorten that day to one 0.2g vape bowl, and sour diesel from SpeedGreens is what you have. I found the smell more sweet than sour or diesel, but the diesel come out huge when you start getting clouds of vapour passing over your tastebuds. The bud is absolutely coated in short milky white trichomes. I could spot no amber colouration to any of the trichomes, so in my mind this rates AAA+ to AAAA-; a true quad should have more mature trichomes, and this probably explains the relatively brief, strong high, with a rather ugly burnout.
My Rating: 4.5/5
Sunkiss CBD: Hybrid CBD & THC (AAA)
https://i.imgur.com/Mpue9a9.jpg
This marks my first, official, CBD/THC Hybrid strain. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much as I know the THC % for these strains is generally below 10%, and I use cannabis so frequently that there is probably more potency in one of my teardrops, but, I found myself pleasantly surprised! I used this strain to wake and bake, because I knew I wouldn’t get much off of it later in the day, and for that purpose it worked quite well. It was a nice, mild, cerebral high, that I almost hardly noticed unless I was paying attention. I did notice that I was a bit cheerier and active, and I definitely take those as positive effects. Wee bit of a burnout here, which kind of surprised me.
The effects are mild for me, but I think they are meant to be that way for everyone. This would certainly be a great strain for beginners or those who really can’t stand the anxiety and paranoia that cannabis can be synonymous with, because there is none of that here.
The Sunkiss CBD is a really attractive looking flower. It has perhaps the most bright orange pistils I have seen on a bud, and it just looks “happy.” The aroma was sort of a mossy/piney smell, and I found that odd mossy quality carried through in the vapor flavour.
I doubt I would purchase this strain again, I tend to go for potency, but it was nice to have had the legit CBD bud experience.
My Rating: 3.5/5
Dutch Treat: Hybrid (AA)
https://i.imgur.com/Ub70B7k.jpg
I have seen SpeedGreen’s AA dutch treat get kicked around on the forum a little bit, and I think some estimations are fair, and others harsh. I don’t agree at all that this should be rated as A quality. I have had A quality cannabis, and I consider it unsmokable--only good for edibles and extracts. I’d say that this dutch treat is exactly where SpeedGreens says it is, AA. It has a lousy trim, immature trichomes, not a great aroma nor vape flavour, but it is smokable in a pipe, joint or vape, you won’t die hacking up a lung, and it will get you stoned. If you could afford to make extracts and edibles from this bud, I think they would be excellent. For people on a budget, people looking for a little less than a rocketship, people looking to make good edibles and extracts, or people looking to throw free weed from a Christmas float, I’d say the dutch treat is a safe bet! For quad connoisseurs, those with a high tolerance, or those seeking a high degree of therapy from their bud, I would strongly suggest spending more money.
My Rating: 2.5/5
Jack Herer Shatter (AAAA)
https://i.imgur.com/oF87NRr.jpg
This shatter has a really nice colour, and a decent cure--perhaps a tad on the sticky side (less snap), but easy to work with. I had two grams of this come, one sugared-up ever so slightly at the edges, and the other stayed stable. In all honesty, I haven’t cleaned my banger in forever, so I don’t really look for things like residuals in the banger, but judging by the colour, I’d say it is good and clean. The vapor it produces has a nice terpene profile, nothing overwhelming to write home to mom about, but it is certainly there. The effects are quick acting but not overwhelmingly strong. I find it is a very nice relaxing, euphoric stone, that gives that classic pressure behind the eyes sensation. This shatter isn’t as dramatically strong or long lasting as some AAAA shatter that I’ve had--I’ve had some that made me sweat like I was trapped in a sauna--but typically, true AAAA shatter is priced higher than $29 a gram. If I were to give it an honest evaluation, I’d say this shatter is more like AAA+ in terms of potency, terpene profile, and cure. At $29 a gram, or at the cheaper Black Friday price for those who were lucky, I honestly can’t see anybody being disappointed (I accept harsh criticism if you feel like I am way off). I will definitely order more, and their budders are very nice too!

SpeedGreens has some great pricing on some fairly potent concentrates, as well as some of the best quads I have tried anywhere, ever. Cannabis connoisseurs should give SpeedGreens a try at least once if they are looking for serious quality, good prices, and impeccable customer service.

General Notes:
To their credit, SpeedGreens provided me with some primetime 1g+ sample buds for photography purposes, and as such I won’t really comment on bud size past here… suffice it to say, they were all juicy! ;). Everything was dead on weight or over. Each bud (with the exception of the dutch treat) was both excellently trimmed and cured, with varying degrees of tackiness.
