The buds were all smalls, nice trim considering it’s AAA. A nice little layer of trichs with plenty of long pistils. The buds were pretty dense, nice cure.

The nose wasn’t very strong but once you break it up, then you get a much better cookies/dough smell. Mostly a herbal smell/taste t...hough, not a lot of sour and sweet notes.

Burned salt and pepper. A little resin ring. Smoked pretty smooth, has a little dough taste on inhale and more of a herbal taste on exhale.

This is suppose to be a hard hitting Indica but I found this one wasn’t too potent. I didn’t get any euphoria, it did calm me down and make me feel relaxed a little but it didn’t make me want to go to sleep or sedate me.

Burned salt and pepper, had a nice oil ring, surprisingly smooth and it had a really earthy taste. Not the best taste in a vaporizer either.

The potency surprised me a bit, for a balanced hybrid it had a nice kick to it. Felt some pressure in the head pretty quick. I was able to work in a focused manner and not be too high either. For a beginner this might hit pretty hard for a daytime option but definitely good any time of the day.This won’t help you with sleep though, as it did’t sedate me or make me too tired.

These buds were mostly smalls - medium. Really nice vibrant green color with small purple hues when you break it up. A thin layer of trichs on the outside but a bit more on the ins...ide. Buds were pretty dense, a little sticky still.

Surprisingly pungent citrus aroma mostly.

Burned salt n pepper, small oil ring. I had to re-light it a couple of times. Was also a bit more harsh. Had more of an ashy spicy taste that I didn’t really like. Also left my tongue pasty with an ashy texture. It was much better in my vaporizer where you get more citrus and pine.

This still hit me decent. I was pretty relaxed, calm, and my body felt pretty heavy. This did sedate me a little so this will knock you out if you smoke a lot.

Overall though, not really a fan of the taste but it’s a not too bad heavy indica.

The buds were pretty dense, nice cure, still some stickiness to it. They were mostly mediums. Nice colours, I always like the purple hues. These buds were fairly caked in trichs in...side and out.

The nose wasn’t as strong as I expected it to be but it had a more of a sweetish herbal kush smell. I didn’t get much citrus out of it.

Burned salt n pepper, with a small oil ring, made me cough a couple of times but it wasn’t too harsh. Had an herbal ashy taste. The taste was better in my vaporizer though so I recommend to use a vape instead if you want a smoother toke.

I felt nice and mellow and happy after the j. Felt a pressure in the head and my body was all relaxed and the stress just went out of me. It didn’t knock me out but I was really tired and ready to go to bed after an hour and a half or so. It should help to sleep for sure. For high tolerance users this will require double the dose if you want a more satisfying high.

Bag Appeal: The buds were really dense and pretty dried out. I really like the bright colours on it though. It had some amount of trichs for sure but not that much. The buds look machine tumbled too.

Smell: I found it had a type of spicy herbal tea kind of smell. It w...asn’t really pungent either.

Burn: Burned dark grey with a lot of black in it. Didn’t have a big oil ring and it was really harsh on the throat. I had a hard time finishing my J.

Potency: This is a pretty balanced hybrid for sure, it wasn’t that potent either so this could be taken during the day no problem. I honestly didn’t feel much of an effect with this one. A little bit of calmness and a little pressure in the head but that’s about it.See More

Bag Appeal: As you can see from the pics, this is a really pleasant bud to look at. I just love purple strains and this one had all the visuals, density and trichs down. The cure is perfect too. Had 1 large bud and all others mediums.

Smell: I was hoping for... a more pungent fruity flavour but it wasn’t that strong. Even in a jar after a week the terps seem to be lacking a little. It has more of a woodsy light fruity smell.

Burn: In a join, it burned salt and pepper. Had a pretty strong woodsy flavour too. I found it just a tad harsh in the throat. In my Solo 2 it it tasted a lot better, more of a fruity woodsy/herbal flavour. Produced some pretty nice cloud vapours too.

Potency: This is a balanced hybrid but I felt more of the Indica effects. This hit me pretty good behind the eyes to start and then you feel it set in your body. It is a really nice relaxing high. It didn’t sedate me but I do feel a bit lazy after the high wears off. So I would say this is a pretty potent one.

Bag Appeal: The buds are really caked with trichs! handling the buds leaves your fingers dusty but not really stick though from trichs. The buds weren’t dense though, mostly fluffy and leafy. I’ve seen other batches have more color to it.

Smell: Smells a... lot like like a skunky red wine for me. Not too pungent though, I have to put my nose in the jar to really get the smell.

Burn: Burned mostly white, just a bit of dark grey. Had a creamy earthy taste. It had a tiny hint of sweetness to it. I only really got some grape flavour with my Solo 2 but couldn’t really taste it as a joint. It’s really good in a vaporizer. Was a pretty smooth smoke overall.

Potency: For all the trichs you see on the buds, I was expecting more potency out of it. It was a good uplifting high, not euphoric though, more of a calmer happy kind of mood. What I like about this strain is that it’s not sedating. You feel relaxed but not in a couch-locking way so I find it a good strain for any time of the day really.

Miracle Alien Cookies X1, otherwise known as MAC 1, is now one of my favourite daytime strains to date.

Bag Appeal: The buds were all medium cone shaped and pretty dense for their size. The buds are just caked of beautiful trichomes everywhere in and out. Great cure o...n these too.

Smell: This MAC smells fantastic! it has a really sweet and sour herbal cookie type smell. Could be more pungent but it still has a strong smell.

Burn/Vape: I tried it in a joint and my Solo 2. In a joint I mostly got a herbal flavour. It burned white, with a nice oil ring. The smoke was really smooth, didn’t have to keep re-lighting the joint. It was much better in my Solo 2, I got a much sweeter herbal taste with that classic cookie flavour. Produced a nice amount of vapour.

Potency: This MAC is potent but not too potent. I have a high tolerance so I found this one to be perfect during the day since it put me in a much happier mood and really helped to relieve the stress of work. It relaxed my body enough but it didn’t sedate/couch-lock me.

I will definitely be buying this one again for sure, totally worth it!

This is High Octane OG by GasLeak. This was my first time trying out GasLeak products and I was pretty happy with my choices.

Price: $225/oz

Bag Appeal:... Ole shit, everything I ordered from GasLeak including this I received huge fat nugs. The buds were all a nice light bright green. They were pretty dense and well cured with some stickiness to it. These nugs were just caked in trichs everywhere! just as well inside as outside.

Nose: As soon as you open the bag, you get a pungent gassy aroma that smells so good! Has a kind of earthy/herbal smell. Once you break up the bud it smells even better!

Smoke/Vape: I tried this in a classic RAW cone and in my Solo 2. The joint smoked really smooth. White ash with a nice greasy oil ring. It had a more herbal taste for me as a joint or in the vape.

Potency: This is a very potent Indica! It didn’t knock me out but I felt really really lazy. I felt really calm and uplifted. This is also one of the only strains I tried so far that gave me a really bad case of the munchies! My stomach was growling extremely loud so stock up on munchies beforehand. The high lasted a couple of hours but you still feel fatigued after.

Overall I’m really happy to have tried this strain for the first time. I would definitely buy again, this was an enjoyable high that was very potent.

Quality: 9.5/10

Bought this at the same time as the Afghan I reviewed previously.

Price: $20/3.5g

Upon opening the bag, I was hit with a kind of herbal honeydew type of scent. It wasn’t too pungent but I wasn’t expecting much either so I was still satisfied it... wasn’t too muted. The buds were also pretty dry and a little fluffy. Got one nice medium nug and the rest all popcorns. Had a little layer of trichs but a little less than the Afghan I find.

Once grinded this smelled really great though. It had a pungent minty smell with a little touch of honey. This was nicer to smoke/vape compared to the Afghan taste-wise.

Rolled a classic RAW cone to test this out and tried it in my Solo 2. The joint was a little smoother than the Afghan, the ash looked whiter and the taste was better. In my Solo 2 it tasted kind of funky, it was kind of sweet but with a touch of mint.

This is suppose to be an Indica dominant hybrid but I could smoke this during daytime. I didn’t find it as potent as the Afghan so don’t expect this to hit you very hard during the evening. This is more to chill and socialize and still be productive in the day. I had a nice uplifting high that made me feel good and it doesn’t sedate you.

Overall, I would probably buy this for a daytime strain when on a budget. It’s one of the tastiest budgets I tried so far so that’s a plus. For the price I didn’t expect much but this was actually not bad at all.

Would buy again? Yes

Worth the money? Yes
