Communication: They’re good with private messages it would seem. Approached via ...private message on this very forum, BuyWeedOnline.Shop wanted me to take a look at their weed and offer up a review. This is where we are now.
Packaging: Holy shit birds. These guys have this part down. They have the best bags in the business. The picture doesn’t do it justice, it’s like this matte black velvety wonderful thing with a little window. Literally my favourite bag from a mom ever.

GIrl Scout Cookies
Smells like the wrong weed. It a strong cheese nose, something I’m not used to from GSC. Bushy appearance, lots of orange hairs, not alot of visible trichs. Smoke was ok, effects were middling. This was my least favourite of the bunch, I feel like its mislabeled. Its much more similar to a AA uk cheese to me. meh.<br/>

Gelato
A suprisingly hashy smell. Dense round nug. Decent smoke and got me good and buzzed. Way more punch than I expected in the stone, but the tastes were a little muted.

Haze Extreme
Strange smell for sure. Old nicotine and pepper. I’m a big haze fan though, and this one is OMGWTFBBQEXTREME. The smell became a lot more standard once I started smoking it. Straight ahead gassy diesel with maybe a hint of grape. It sure smoked like an Indica, but the effects were pleasantly Sativa dominant. It warmed the face and had a bit of a headband effect, but I kept a clear albeit altered head and had a lot of creative energy. Potent. I’m a real fan of this one. It was a lung filler that got me high. Resinous on my lips, it was a fun joint to smoke. I’d order this one again in a heartbeat, I don’t really care for the name though. Might be my favourite in the bunch.

Pink Rockstar
Bright almost citrus nose, multicoloured with flecks of purple and several shades of green. Motherfucking yummy. Pink Kush’s tones mixed with a bit of Rockstar sassiness. High as fuck, this one knocked me on my ass and made me wrap us this review. Time to watch a movie or some shit. I want to buy some of this. Dudes, send me more of this please, and the Haze. Those two are winners.<br/>

Sunkist
Unique smell, like hash and citrus. Busting it up revealed more citrus and kush smells, along with a tiny bit of cheese. Very clearly a sativa, it had a nice smooth smoke with a very pleasant orange taste. The effects are mild but pronounced, and clear headed. This would be a great summertime day walk strain for sure, but it also seems well suited for writing this review. A pretty good sativa haze rush at the beginning, but quickly fades into a mild stone. I was a big fan right after smoking, but quickly wanted to go burn another. Would probably pass on this one, personally, but the taste is top notch.

I have to tell you, the first time I heard that name, I thought, I’ve heard that name forty billion times before. It’s... literally just all the related words stuck together without an actual name. It’s either brilliant or ridiculous, but i’ve come to learn the name doesn’t matter.

Communication: The top tier of CS in the business is Tony and the monkey. These guys are right up there. Those are bold words. He’s on the discord and customer service conversations like a fat kid on cake. I love cake.
Packaging: He sent a couple of grams of 4 strains. They were small so small baggies were used. They were flimsy, but whatever, not alot of options at that size. Could have been better, the only place I docked anything

Hybrids both, the Gelato and Fruity Pebbles are ridiculous. both got me high as fuck.
Gelato was an extremely smooth smoke with a subtle perfumey or flowery aftertaste, but in a super good way. A speedy sativa high kicked right away hand in hand with some serious couchlock. A true hybrid that kicked my ass.

Sign up process, website and ordering: I did not sign up, they reached out. It looks fairly easy. The site could use an update to be honest. It works and I can find what I need but the stylesheet is a bit dated (just like this one, we’re working on it!) and reminded me of th...e earlier moms from a couple of years ago. This will be one of my only complaints in this review and I struggled to find an issue.
Overall Pricing: Seems like their ounces average around $140, which is pretty standard for a non deals/bulk based store.
Customer Service: I had no issues so it didn’t really get tested, but they’re a warm happy bunch who answer emails super quickly.
The order itself: They provided tracking and the package shipped quickly from B.C. to Ontario. I was worried with the looming strike but no issues at all. I picked it up at my flex delivery, not actually knowing what I was getting at all.

Woo hoo, look at this, I figured maybe a few gram samplers, but damn did they come through. A quarter each of their top 4 strains. Thanks guys! I like the packaging. The whole thing came double vacuum sealed in a standard mailer then each strain in a nice black vacuum bag, with the printed labels you see below.

Let’s see what all this great weed looks like. Starting with the Orange Cookies. Holy shit man. I’m a big fan of the cookies strains in general. It smells like a tangerine, Mr. Clean and super dank weed. And it’s oh so pretty. A true hybrid, the sativa effects came out bright and clear and I got a ton of shit done while feeling super euphoric and relaxed.

Tuna Kush is a classic bushy and dense inidca with a heavy nose and heavy stone. You know its a kush as soon as you open the bag and it put me right to sleep. I don’t have much more to say about that

Next up is the Platinum Purple Kush, another great example of a classic Kush. Bushy and sweet smelling, the classic purple and the classic kush nose. Great cure and trim (really on all of them). Haven’t smoked it yet, but it looks great.

All in all, I have to say shock and awe were at play here. I expected yet another budget MoM and what I got was some seriously dank weed. Thanks so much guys, will definitely order from you in the future. Super impressed.

So while I stash away a collection of strains for the apocalypse that probably isn’t happening, I realize what I actually use on an operational level is shatter. I’ve moved through a few lately from cheapweed, because Iike the product alot, it’s predictable, gets me high, a...nd 300 a half ounce is the right price range for this guy. But holy shit do I smoke more shatter when I buy it like this. That’s another story.
I really like the band the lemonheads in the 90s. That song confetti? (the kinda sorta song?) anyway, and my vote for high of the year so far goes to the lemonwalker OG shatter I got from cheapweed earlier in the year, so picking the Super Lemonhead OG shatter seemed like a no brainer.

Check it out. I have trouble photographing shatter, but this has great colour (amber) and clarity. It’s very much shatter consistency but I’m hoping to take a chunk and force it to budder up, but I’m super weird like that. Potency is great. It gets me high, which is hard these days, I’d call it a hybrid, it’s not heavy in the body but its there for sure, and my mood is elevated a lot. I’ve only had one stronger shatter this year and I’ve had a lot of fucking shatter this year. Recommend. Lots of terps, lots of stone, and easy to handle, what the fuck else can you ask for?

And because I saw it on the menu and I felt nostalgic I ordered some hash! And I wanted some edible situatio...ns but they didn’t have so I ordered some Phoenix Tears as well. Gorilla Glue #4 Shatter - really great terps, and good clarity, with a real shatter consistency. Does not get me as high as the Lemon Walker but that’s cool. Get’s me to about a 7 with the same amount. Great deal.
Mercedes Hash - haven’t had black hash since I was in my twenties, and I felt nostalgic. Bought way too much, and I don’t smoke cigarettes anymore so smoking it is proving to be challenging, but I throw it in joints and bought a little stone hash pipe like I was in highschool or something. Gets me high and tastes like I remember and super cheap. Very happy.
Phoenix Tears - some left over coupons and the need for discretion at the cottage led me to order these. Didn’t know what to expect, so I ingested .2 of a syringe and promptly fell dead asleep for 10 hours. Win.

Gorilla Glue #4 Shatter - really great terps, and good clarity, with a real shatter consistency. Does not get me as high as the Lemon Walker but that’s cool. Get’s me to about a 7 with the same amount. Great deal.
Mercedes Hash - haven’t had black hash since I was in my twenties, and I felt nostalgic. Bought way too much, and I don’t smoke cigarettes anymore so smoking it is proving to be challenging, but I throw it in joints and bought a little stone hash pipe like I was in highschool or something. Gets me high and tastes like I remember and super cheap. Very happy.
Phoenix Tears - some left over coupons and the need for discretion at the cottage led me to order these. Didn’t know what to expect, so I ingested .2 of a syringe and promptly fell dead asleep for 10 hours. Win.

MOM Name Weed- Deals
Let’s get this one cooking. I’ll save you the trouble of reading if you’re in a hurry. The dude that runs Weed-Deals.ca is super weird. Oh, and also, he has fucking awesome weed and they are literally all about deals. Ok, now, let’s smoke a little indica, ...take a deep breath, take some time and read the rest. I’m not new to buying weed. I’ve been doing it a long, long, long time. I’n not new to buying Mail Order Marijuana either, I’ve been doing that awhile as well. I’m newish to the whole Discord thing. That’s what makes this review so interesting.
Usually, I find a deal, or a bad ass strain I’ve been looking for, or a great review piques my interest in a new MOM. What isn’t usual, is having a dude on Discord message a large channel and ask who needs to be hooked up. Enter Dr. Fire. I think he said something about samples, something about fire, something about a playground, I don’t really know. He has a way with words. Not a good way really, just a really different way. The conversation was long, and careening, like a road that killed James Dean or something. I told you, I’m old. Wait, no I didn’t. Anyway, I’m old.
The gist of the conversation was this. He runs Weed-Deals.ca. He has the hot fire. He would like to hook us all up. He would work for free if we would only let him. Send him $40-50 to cover costs and he will show us the fire. I had a few dollars, so I took a risk. He asked what I liked, I said currently I was looking for fruity sativas and fire.
He sent those things.
A few days later I received the package. I think we can start the review.
Overall rating out of 10: I’m going 9 on this one. A real 9. I don’t give these out all willy nilly either. The value on this particular deal was just too high, They really mean it, it’s weed deals. It’s not just a clever name.

Communication: I think I’ve covered it in broad strokes. The dude is weird and talks weird and talking to him is weird. If there’s a fault it’s here for sure. That all said, it didn’t impede the order, and his customer service is excellent. He’s a weed savant I guess. I got what I wanted and I barely said what I wanted.
Packaging: Great! Packages in packages, sealed and smell-free. Nothing special, did the job.

For the visually impaired, that’s Strawberry, Tangie, R Fire (which I would later come to know as Rockstar Fire, I checked the website), Pineapple Express and Skookum (Skookum Charlie)
Damn kids! I don’t like to mess about with small amounts much, these were a couple of grams each I think? I did not weigh this order. I took the strawberry, tangie and pineapple express and threw them in the random nug jar. The Rockstar and Skookum were special and got their own jars.
The Strawberry was delicious. Tasted like strawberries, smooth as fuck and was a good sativa high for sure. AAA+ or whatever the kids call it these days.
The tangie was similar and the Pineapple Express was fucking stellar. Tight large nugs that lit up my head before a wave of physical euphoria washed over. All of these were great and I would love to order more.
The skookum is goddamned delicious. The high is a bright sativa high, the bud is craggy and huge. Not a huge nose to it, or a huge amount of taste, but whats there is very, very nice. I’d rock this all day if I could.

Let me preface this one a bit. I wasn’t really a fan of Birch+Fog the last few times I ordered. I felt like I was paying that retail premium, and honestly while I think their marketing is very successful it really isn’t my cup of tea. All that said, I had a $100 visa gift ...card from using OpenCare to find a dentist, and Birch+Fog is one of the few to take credit cards; also I was out of Sativa; and this is where our story begins....
Overall rating out of 10: 7.5
Sign Up: Easy I think, it was a while ago, this was an additional order long after sign up. I’m not going to talk about that here because it wasn’t part of the experience, and man, B+F love their experiences.
Ordering & Pricing: I paid $97 for 4 grams of Island Jack and 4 grams of Red Congolese and shipping. I didn’t order enough to get free shipping.
Communication: We didn’t correspond. I ordered, got tracking, got weed, got high. There were no CS issues that required contact.
Packaging: Well packaged in vacuumed sealed bags inside a box. The B+F branded tissue paper is a nice hipster useless choice that adds to the aesthetic. Anyway.
Products / Photos: To be honest, I wasn’t really expecting much. I’m not sure why, the last flower order I had from them was fine. Pretty even. But I ordered two sativas, wasn’t expecting a huge punch, just wanted to use up the gift card and increase the strain collection y’know what I’m saying? I was pleasantly surprised!
The Red Congo at first was disappointing. I’m used to caked red hairs and a very exotic look. This stuff still looked exotic, but I saw the yellowing hairs and was sure I had an inferior product. Take a look for yourself below. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The signature pepper and spice nose is there in full force, both when breaking it up and when vaping it. This is a unique sativa strain folks, one everyone should try. This might not be the best example of it, the stuff I had from JJ last year was better, but this a very, very decent. The high isn’t quite as intensely intellectual as I found the other batches, its still a peppy sativa that gives a great rush of creativity and drive. I’m writing this review right now on a couple of bowls, and I’ve been procrastinating it for weeks.

Island Jack is supposedly just Jack Herer grown on the island, but this taste was unique enough that I’m not sure about that. It has a bright, tropical fruit based taste that makes me think more of Island Jack the Carribean pirate than sweet jack herer but whatever, its tasty as hell. The high was also light and in the front of the head, but not overly intense. It was a great morning time smoke (see picture) and it tasted so damn good I would add a pinch of it to every bowl I smoked last week just to have some of that sweet sweet island sunshine.

A $20 gram of ...shatter can be ok if you know where to look. Here’s the thing. 519 had low end rosin for 15 a gram. :| It tastes so much better. It’s amazing. It tastes so much better, and it gets me super high, which not all $20 shatter does. Plus, it’s rosin. I get how it’s made. $20 shatter, not so much. The comparison is really in favour of 519 Rosin Co. like, it’s changing the way I look at the game.

Zedd (140) Huge buds. Reminds me so much of my time in BC when I was a teenager. This is the stuff my friends loved to grow. Dense fluffy massive buds. Smooth smoke and a smooth indica buzz. I wouldn’t call it heavy, but it definitely does the job. Currently my dinnertime indica if that makes any sense.

Cheapweed - Hybrid because I’m a huge sucker for house strains (130) and I’m so glad I grabbed it. It’s a hybrid, but it reminds my a lot of northern lights and OG kush, smooth and gassy with a nice heavy front of the head stone. Straggly and scrappy, I don’t mind the look of the bud at all, and it’s all getting ground up in and into the Mighty anyway. Great high, great value and I love MOM grown weed.
