Whiskey Cookies – JJ Meds – Early Feb 2022Early in February I found myself nearing the end of the last of my CVL from JJ’s, I emailed them to find out when they would have a restock of it. A quick response let me know that it would still be a month or two but they would be having their Whiske...y Cookies up that day. They recommended it as it has similar genetics and would probably be good for what I was looking for. They let me know about the looks of it, which I appreciated, but reassured me that it was quality. How right they were. I scored this bag for $119 and was oh so happy once I opened it up. Very similar smell to the CVL (or DCM even) that just has that deep bottom dankness to it. I could certainly agree with the looks of it, but it wasn’t that bad – just stemmy and some buds kinda loosey goosey (pic above were of some of the nicer flowers, and I added the Boveda). Didn’t matter though, the WC smoked like a champ and was mighty strong. Like the CVL and DCM, this one really grabs me by the booboo. Really like it in my stash – thank you for the recommendation and getting it to me! I would certainly buy again.

Cactus Breath was the last strain that I included in my first order. I wanted to try one of WP's AAAA offerings and read a few positive reviews here for this one. My quarter of mostly smalls were crazy looking nice. Beauty foxt...ails just frickin caked - it just glittered. Pretty fancy looking that just dusted the grinder. Smoked nice and slow, even if it not the tastiest or the whitest ash. I didn't find the potency as crazy as the looks of it so I'd probably try one of their other AAAA strains next time.

Another quarter I grabbed during my first WP order. I wasn't expecting much with the Lemon Pine I grabbed and wanted something a bit more tangy, higher rated and on sale (paid $40 for the q). It arrived in a small mason jar double wrapped in vacuum seal. All medium, beauty looking buds, and ...dense - but not oddly so. Still, nice cure and great smell. It sure checked that tangy box I wanted! Great energizing effects, straight to the head - got me writing this review. I think that the AAA+/AAAA- rating they gave is pretty dead on. I'd order more if they had it.

I've always loved cheese strains and always try to have some in my stash. HSP's UK Cheese is the default jar there but wanted to try WP's Cheese Kush. They had it rated as a AAA+ (I've always thought of hsp's UK as a s...olid triple) and it was cheaper - $40 a quarter...so, why not?
The small mason jar arrived double wrapped in a vacuum seal. The light-coloured, medium sized buds had a decent-enough trim and a nice distinct cheesy aroma. My buddy who loves WP's Lemon Pine thought it was a bit harsh and without much taste but I felt the contrary. Though I would of liked the potency to be heavier, still an enjoyable joint. I'd buy this again, but would like to try their Dairy Queen first.

I have a very thrifty buddy who tried this out and recommended to me. Honestly, it was like he found a new love - he wouldn't stop talking about it (”the best working weed!” he kept saying). Looking at the offerings that WP had, I wo...uldn't normally go for a AA+ but having lost out on those mixed smalls and the budget price of my friend's new love, I thought why not.
The $60 oz of AA+ Lemon Pine came nicely packed in vacuum seal - no nice jar for this budget flower. I was surprised at the lemony-berry smell and decent-sized nugs. Scrappy trim with a fair amount of stalk. All in all, I think their AA+ rating is pretty legit. Smoked well enough and hits nicely for daytime - obviously not the strongest or tastiest but still a good budget smoke.
With my order, I also got a few higher graded strains that will satisfy where this one lacks. Where I was happy trying it and having it for backup, I would get one of the others before this one again. My buddy though? Since I received my oz, he has gone ahead and bought a qp ($215 lol) and then a hp ($375). He's happier than a pig in shit.

Ordered end of August during their opening sale. The Orange Cookies were $108 and arrived a few days later. Packaging was solid, no frills at all - not that I was looking for any. Orange Cookies arrived looking quite good, though a bit dry. Mainly smalls and mediums but a couple chonks in there ...too. Jarred it up with a Boveda for a couple days which improved it a bit. I've been smoking this primarily out of bong or joint and find that it burns quite dark but stays lit for the most part. A decent stone but nothing too crazy. Still, for $108 it is hard to complain. May not be back for the Orange Cookies, but interested in some of their other offerings. Q=6.5 V=9

Happy that there was a new drop of mousse right as I was finishing my last jar. Same distinct smell with pretty much the same look (kinda ugly). As usual, this stuff just reeks - so gassy, so stinky. It continues to be one of my favourite evening smokes and I am happy to have it back in the stash... box. Bought a half oz and eighth (17.5g not all pictured) for $105 shipped. I used the $25 code from my last review to bring it down to $6/gram. Pretty decent. Q=8 V=8 Would again.

Really enjoying this one from Enigma Extracts/Kush Station. Picked it up during the Labour Day sale at $105 half oz. Beautiful colours, nice nose on these small/medium buds. After seeing way too many postive reviews and tempting photos, I finally made my first order with HGA for some of this crazy Red Congo. I got a 1/2oz of it and with using a ref code got it for $140 shipped. The most I’ve paid for a 1/2oz in a looong time, but it is absolutely AAAA in my books. ... I don’t even care that it was mostly small/mediums, some of the best flower I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting from a mom. The smell on it is heavenly and vapes/smokes like a dream. I find it having such an uplifting, long lasting, clean high with no draggy effect at all. This would be my desert island flower for sure. Just wish it was cheaper as I can’t afford for this to be my daily.

Dealing with HGA was great, I asked for them to split an oz and they did for me – nothing else was exceptional, but all done in a professional and courteous manner.
