56g of this beauty bud came in the mail for me today. I bought a qp a few weeks ago of an older batch and it reminded me of how much I love this offering from headwater. That qp was more of a traditional baby yoda batch, nice and fluffy litt...le small-mediums that you just pop into the grinder.
This new LSO batch, though, is much nicer in every way. Everything is just turned up a bit: louder terps, significantly bigger bud size, louder nose, and just as caked in crystal as the salt batch. This is what I would call the perfect batch of baby yoda essentially. It feels like headwaters really got this dialled right the fuck in now. I burned a j as soon as it showed up and I’m pretty blitzed still, so potency is there too. It burns really smooth and the ash is white/light gray.
I had a feeling that this would be a solid round of khalifa mints and I definitely wasn’t wrong, so I’m really happy I went with 56g.
Also, to anyone who’s gonna come in here with their “fUcK wEEdpOstErS” I’d like like to preemptively tell you to fuck off and get a fucking life, if you’d be so kind.
I absolutely love this! I just finished the half o of wizard fritters I had today, and I enjoyed every second of it. This is wayyyyy better in every way. The nose is pungent cheesy gas, but there 100% is garlic as well. The nose of this is almost identical to the garlic sherbert by KK. Taste is chee...sy creamy cakey funky gas and it’s like at least 2x stronger than the fritter. Big showy ass buds too that absolutely reek of funk. Burn is great, light gray-white ash and soooooooo smooth. Gets me right fucking chewed too. It’s an up front, in your face, long lasting high. I will be ordering more of this. 9.5/10
London Poundcake by PaidbyPounds bought from CannaPanda. I was over in CanadianMOMs and came across a post asking about CannaPanda, and the verdict was positive. So I bought a q of this and my only regret is not buying more. Because fucking wow.
Nose/bag appeal: I smelled this through the... jar and vac seal, which made my very excited haha Sure enough, once opened it was clear that this shit is LOUD. The smell in the jar is SO strong, it almost makes you want to pull away from it once you have a sniffarooni. First thing you smell is GAS, like super dank ass burn your nose gas. There’s also a prominent sweet/doughy smell that cuts through and keeps the jar open so you can keep huffing it lol
Visual/feel: All smalls and mediums, but all quality buds. Every bud is tight and dense, completely caked in trichs, slightly crunchy. They still smell loud af out of the jar on their own, which isn’t always the case. Jar came with a humidity pack, so the moisture was just right. The cure is mint, literally perfect in every way.
Smoke/burn: The delicious, strong, dank ass nose I described translates perfectly into the flavour of this one. The taste is doughy, sweet gas that is so strong! You’re not thinking “him I think I’m getting hints of...”, it’s like “god damn this tastes great! Is that cake? Is that berries??”. Everything about the flavour is loud af. You taste it even between hits, the flavour never leaves your mouth the whole joint.
High: Don’t be shocked when I say that I was extremely high after smoking a joint to my head lol You’ll notice almost immediately that you’re feeling the effects, they come on after the first draw basically. It’s very euphoric and strong enough that I feel it as a daily smoker of joints (no bongs/concentrates). I can’t put into words how good it is, so I won’t babble on forever here. It’s an extremely great high.
Overall: I’m blown away by this bud. I try a lot of the quads posted on here, and they’ve all been really good with very few exceptions. To me this is on another level, like this is a true AAAA+ to me. I see the “craft” and “aaaa+” rating thrown around all willy nilly all the time on these countless moms. I feel like this is the first time I’ve had what is truly aaaa+ craft bud. Not knocking the other strains I’ve had/reviewed, they’ve been dank af too and I’ve been happy with them. 10/10 all around, it’s pricey but for good cause: it’s super fucking dank
