**Small update on this MOM. It came to my ears just today that they candidly said on Discord a while back that when they get mold in the weed they buy, they pick it out and sell the remaining. A friend of mine to whom I had recommended them just got some mold in their Northern Lights and another use...r on reddit reported this issue with the same strain and got served the (paraphrasing) ’sorry we thought we picked it out’ treatment.
To all MOMs reading this, this is NOT how mold should be handled. Mold generates spores and those spores transfer VERY easily airborne, so if a bag has mold, especially to the point where you can see it and pick it out, the WHOLE bag is compromised and should not be sold to consumers, nor made into edibles, nor pressed into rosin, nor blasted into shatter. It’s contaminated, it should be destroyed and you should get a refund from the grower/distributor who provided it to you.
I’m sorry to any and all user who read this review and bought from this MOM. I simply cannot stand behind that kind of behavior from a MOM.**

MOM Name Pacific Cannabis
Overall rating out of 10: 9/10
Sign Up: Not sure, was offered samples through PM, didn’t register on the site.
Ordering & Pricing: Didn’t chose anything, they sent me a sample pack. Pricing is on the cheap side, their top strains are 200/oz with lots of options in the 130ish range.
Communication: Very good. I did ask of them not to send a huge selection of strains but they sent 7 anyway, no biggie. I’m not complaining cause everything is nice :)
Packaging: Vacuum bag with plastic branded bags inside, most buds were in very good shape for the type of packaging. All of this was inside a bubble mailer. No complaints!

Literally the stickiest buds I’ve had from a MOM ever, almost didn’t risk putting it in my grinder for fear of locking it forever. That strain usually is a mild one terp-wise but this was the heaviest smelling Pineapple Express I’ve had. Smoke is smooth, buzz is strong, terps are delicious and strong until the very end of the joint. I didn’t check the price before smoking this and when I saw it’s 130$/oz I could not believe it. This beats most MOM quads I’ve had without much effort. 9/10.

Very nice looking buds with dark hues all over, pretty caked too. I haven’t really had Death Bubba before but I did get many Bubba crosses as well as bubba og. Pepper/savory is what dominates the smell. I’m not a huge fan of that kind of smell profile, but it’s definitely quality bud. It’s on the dry side, breaking apart the bud or busting it up in the grinder did not yield much more nose, but its still pretty terpy. Smoking it, it’s fairly smooth, it’s got the pepper/savory taste coming through well, very slight harshness that’s easily forgivable when the buzz hits you in the face. Good stuff but not my cup of tea. Giving this a 8/10. This is one of their 200$ strains.

This is one of their top strains (200$ oz) and while it has an interesting aroma, there’s a sharp bitterness that comes through the smoke. It’s not super strong, but it builds up as you smoke the joint and lingers after smoking it. It is however a heavy knocker and I did notice that high THC strains tend to exhibit that kind of bitterness. IMHO this is alright but a bit overrated, I’d take their Pineapple over this in a heartbeat. 7.5/10.

First time smoking that strain, was always told it had a pine/skunk profile and I definitely did not get this in the nose nor smoke. This is one of their 200$ options. The smell was kind of generic, nothing really standing out but still nice. The smoke was terpy, but I didn’t really enjoy the terp profile on this one. There’s a very slight harshness that comes through the smoke, nothing big, but noticeable. 7/10.
Purple Kush:

https://i.imgur.com/Qgi3nwm.jpg
Very nice berry/gas nose but not excessively strong. Nice colors on the bud. The smoke on this was very smooth and like all purples, the buzz wasn’t very strong but still competent. For 120$/oz this is definitely more than fair. 7.5/10.

120$ oz. Looks nothing special, got 2 tiny buds. Smell is faint but nice, same with the smoke, not much taste but it’s very smooth to smoke. Not bad at all for the price. 7.5/10.
Sour Tangie:

First time having Sour Tangie, reminded me a lot of Tangerine Cookies both in nose and taste. This smells and taste like fermenting orange rinds, real terpy and nice. It’s a sativa leaning hybrid but it has a strong hybrid buzz that crashes into a heavy sleepy down when it wears off. Prob not the best daytime sativa because of this, but very well rounded strain, I like it a lot. 8.5/10

Notes: Overall, I’m very impressed by the products I received. Funny enough, it seems their lower priced strains is really where they shine, rather than their more expensive ones which is very unusual in my experience. I would definitely recommend trying them if you’re into cheap OZ that both pack a punch and show some terp character.

MOM Name Lava Flowers
Overall rating out of 10: 7/10
Sign Up: Didn’t sign up they sent me a PM on the forum offering samples
Ordering & Pricing: They sent me a sample of each of their 8 strains so I didn’t... have to pick or pay. Prices are fairly cheap by MOM standards, a couple of 90$ options, up to 150 for their top strain.
Communication: Very courteous, rapid PM replies on the forum, not much to say here. They’ve been competent at answering people’s question on the forum, good stuff.
Packaging: Clear dimebags, double good grade vacuum bags in a small sturdy cardboard box. Zero smell. Only complaint I have is the buds were literally squished really bad, some air in the bags would be a big plus to keep the buds better.
Products / Photos: https://imgur.com/a/WFYWTVk
Purple Trainwreck: Bud was pressed almost to a solid block (all the strains came like this, more or less). It’s hard to comment on how good it looks, it’s really been mistreated by vacuuming hard. Despite this, you can clearly see (well not on my fuzzy pic) the trichones that cover the whole bud. The microscope pic speaks for itself. It’s the least dry of the samples, but it’s still pretty dry, but there is very slight risidual humidity in the core. The colors are magnificient, it’s a mix of dark greens and deep purple, the bud is almost cut in the center with 3/4 of it mainly purple, but the other end is green with almost no purple. The nose is faint but nice and complex, sweet with hints of berries, a hint of citrus. The smoke is smooth, no harshness but the taste overall is not super present when smoking it, but perceptible with every draw of the joint. The buzz is a good mix of indica/sativa effects, you get a strong body buzz but it’s not tirying, so you really get the best of both worlds. The dryness and appearance prevents me from calling it a quad but it’s definitely a AAA+ and a very nice deal at it’s 150$/oz. Giving this a 8/10.
Watermelon x ZSkittles: Bud was pressed almost to a solid block (all the strains came like this, more or less). This came in VERY dry, it’s like pot pourri dry. There isn’t much nose coming out of it. The taste had little terps but still had a very faint sweetish state, but it came with a harshness that made it not much fun to smoke. Buzz is moderate, good mix of body and mind, not too couchlocky. Giving this a 5/10. 130$ oz.
Pink Berry: 90$ OZ. Pretty much no terps, but smokable, a slight harshness but forgivable for the price. 3/10
Cherry: 100$ OZ. Tiny bit of terps, nice taste but it comes through faintly and sporadically. A bit harsh. 4.5/10
OG: 110$ OZ. Not much terps but tiny hints of pepper/sourness, reminds me of cookie strains. Bit harsh but manageable. 4/10
Mango: 90$ OZ. This one has some terps but faint, it’s flowery/perfumy. Slight harshness but forgivable for the price. 4.5/10
Goo Berry: 90$ OZ. No perceivable terps, bit harsh. Least interesting of the 90$ options. 3/10
Watermelon: 90$ OZ. Some terps but faint, very low grade version of watermelon. A bit of a sharp harshness, smokable. 4.5/10

MOM Name Kootenay Craft
Overall rating out of 10: 9/10
Sign Up: Been registered for a long time, was simple but took a bit of time to get approved.
Ordering & Pricing: This... was a free order, but their system is pretty simple and streamlined. They have 50$ welcome2019 code for new clients and an automatic 20% taken off when you combined 4 or more quarters.
Communication: They used to be very anemic and slow in replies but they’ve picked up the pace a lot lately. Invited them to Discord recently and they’ve been relatively active. Clear improvements in the past couple of months!
Packaging: Plastic jars, boveda, vacuumed and put in a bubbler, I think a lot of MOMs should take notes here, jars/cans/etc really make a huge difference on end user experience.

My quarter came as 2 big buds of approx 3.5g each. Just like last time, this strain really is stunning. On a background of varying greens, you have an abundance of light colored pistils and the buds are nicely caked, it’s gorgeous. Unfortunately, this batch came in very dry (despite the provided boveda), it’s really dry to the core and it has very little nose. The nose reminds me of classic Bubba Kush but Leafly informs me it’s lineage isn’t clear.
Once broken up, I hoped a little more nose would come out, but nope, it’s dry to the core and doesn’t have much taste. The first back I had of this last summer was super fresh, so it’s a bit of a deception to see the dramatic difference in freshness. The other batch was still a very mild nose (from memory).
Smoking this, it actually tasted better than the last batch. There isn’t much terps coming through (the other seemed peppery but I’m getting none of this now), but it’s a superbly smooth smoke. The buzz is a bit of a creeper, but this batch felt less potent than the previous. I’d qualify it as a light/medium indica.
Giving this a 6.5/10, it’s alright, but the fresher batch I got last summer was much better.
Living Soil God’s Bubba
https://i.imgur.com/Urs6TAJ.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/2Koyhlo.jpg
First ever Living Soil weed I try (as far as I know anyway). I had been told the terps are off the charts with Living Soil and cracking the jar open confirmed the theory, of the 4 jars in this order, this is by far the heaviest smelling. The smell is a mix of gas and wild berries. I didn’t quite grasp it fresh but smoking it (more on that later) it reminded me of GG4 a bit.
The buds weren’t very big but they were extremely dense. The trip is extremely close, there are like no leaves on those whatsoever. The microscope pic shows there isn’t all that much trichomes, very weird bud structure overall. The colors are very nice, the buds have a slightly dark hue with purple spots here and there. The purple hinge on blue, making for a pretty alien looking bud. The colors on my pics aren’t quite right btw, colors are washed a bit. Last note on appearance is how sticky these buds were, breaking the buds by hand I could feel the stickiness and proper humidity inside the buds as well.
I had great hopes for this, just toking on the unlit joint provided a very nice taste. The taste once lit however was a bit of a deception, the terps are coming through alright, but there is a harshness that comes with them in an almost equal measure, making it a mixed experience. I’ve often noticed that with very sticky weed, the smoke is often a bit harsh like that. I mentioned the smell profile being close to GG4, I only had GG4 once from a MOM and it was a similar smoking experience, nice terps mixed with a harshness. Despite all this, it wasn’t a bad smoke at all, just very flavorful.
The buzz is pretty strong, not too couch locky, but definitely a strong body buzz. Unlike the other 2, I didn’t smoke the whole joint, I was baked enough before reaching the end.
Giving this one a 8/10.
Banana Kush
https://i.imgur.com/vKZL2jL.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/rE3GHug.jpg
A skunk cross always interests me, but this is a very tame one. The nose wasn’t very strong, but it did smell very fresh and nice. The terp profile feels like a mix of ripe bananas mixed with spices. Very pleasant an intriguing smell, very unique. There are zero hints of skunk in it, not very gassy.
The flowers came fresh and plush, the buds are similar to the Tangerine Cookies, a bit hairy, some rather large leaves left on them, but the buds have a decent size. The colors are very nice, the core of the bud itself is very light green, almost tan but the outside is a light green with tan hues. The hairs are brownish, making those buds very pleasing to look at, brown, light green, tans (almost yellow), superb. The humidity is good and breaking the buds open and grinding them released extra smell.
The smoke is extremely smooth, huge rips are not a problem. There isn’t much taste coming through but the little that does is very good, mostly sweet and ripe fruit, bit creamy.
The buzz was not very strong. Leafly describes it as a indica dominant strain, but shows effects mostly associated with sativa. I definitely agree with this, the buzz I got felt definitely more sativa than typical indica. There was barely any body buzz, mostly a smooth and chill headbuzz.
Giving this a 7.5/10. This is in their #2 Top tier grade, so AAA, it’s well priced but don’t pick this if you want a heavy hitter.
Tangerine Cookies
https://i.imgur.com/5GHI8ee.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/AnR25S1.jpg
I cracked the seal open and put my nose into the jar... the smell is strong, it has smell of overripe citrus rind, tiny very subtle hint of pine mixed in, the name fits well it does smell like tangerines. Those who have been following my reviews know I’m not a fan of cookies, but these are different somehow, I don’t get even an hint of pepper which I’ve found to be in all GSC crosses. In fact, I don’t get any of what I associate with GSC in this.
In the jar, I had one very big bud (eyeballing it probably 4g) and several popcorn buds. The big bud was more of a bunch of popcorn buds on a skewer, with quite a bit of leaves filling the gaps. Very airy, loose bud overall. I have a feeling the buds are all popcorn in reality :) All that said, the cure is very good, there is good humidity, very nice soft texture, great stuff.
While smoking it, there was a deja vu feeling, the terp profile and smoothness really reminds of of Slurricane... But there was something else, it also kinda tastes like Southern Comfort. Pleasant smoke, tasted great until the last puff in a joint, smooth, light gray almost white smoke, real good burn.
The buzz is pretty strong for a sativa leaning hybrid, mostly cerebral with a small body buzz.
Giving this a 8.5/10.

MOM Name Kootenay Craft
Overall rating out of 10: 7.5/10
Sign Up: I have been registered for a while now, it was an... easy process but they took long enough to accept my account once created. They now have a medial ID requirement on the form, but I’ve been told you can pretty much attach whatever pic there, so long as you have a decent enough ID submitted to prove your age.
Ordering & Pricing: A few months back, the Kootenay guys offered me a complimentary OZ for helping them with several website and customer service issues. At that time I was a moderator on here and opted to refuse the offer, not wanting to cause any unnecessary drama or baseless accusations due to my position. When the recent strain release happened, since I’m not in as a sensitive position, I figured I’d take them up on it. They accepted to send an OZ for review. I actually simply placed the order via email without going through the site and randomly selected among the new strains.
Communication: All my emails and questions were answered in a timely manner and the communication was good. They were a bit slow to send the tracking, but I didn’t pressure them, figured since it’s free, I wasn’t in any rush :)
Packaging: The usual plastic jars that people either love or hate, vacuum sealed into a bag, which was in a bubble mailer. They now have a foam ’seal’ on the containers that they didn’t have before, insuring a perfectly air tight seal. Nice little touch. Once opened though the foam is kind of annoying and has a lot of static, trichs and weed stick to it like crazy. Nothing dramatic, but worth xfering to proper glass jars. The seal doesn’t seem optimal if left as is, my wardrobe where I store my shit is stinky right now, lol.

Very nice nose on that one, but rather faint. The buds are nice, not huge but decent sized, well trimmed, seemed a tiny bit dryer than I’m used to from KC. Breaking it apart, the faint nose is confirmed, it has a nice floral smell, but it’s definitely not as loud as it could be. Even completely grounded, the smell wasn’t really there. Smoking this wasn’t all that pleasant, not much if any terps go through, the smoke isn’t smooth but not too harsh either, just a pretty generic boring taste. Buzz was decent, but nothing amazing. It was my first Black Domina so I can’t really judge on the strain accuracy, but I was told by others it’s usually a heavy hitter, didn’t feel that way to me. Nothing thrilling about this strain, giving it a 6/10.

Oh my, this screams old school! I hadn’t had a NL or close relative in 20+ years and the nose immediately reminded me of the 90’s, NL was a pretty common ’mids’ strain that was around back then. It’s a nice piney smell, a bit sharp and spicy but with an hint of sweetness, very nice nose. Again it was a tiny bit dryer than what I like, seems like it might have been over-dried during the curing maybe. Big compact nugs, nice trim. Unfortunately, similar to the Black Domina, not much of the taste came through in a joint. It was smoother than the Black Domina, but not much fun to smoke despite all that. GIving it a 6.5/10.
Skunk #1:

https://i.imgur.com/gGcRV0y.jpg
Now those who know me know I’ve been looking for some old school skunk forever and I have intensified my research lately. I actually asked just a few weeks ago to KC that they bug their growers for some skunk and they told me ’Hey, we’re getting some just now as a matter of fact’. I knew Skunk #1 wasn’t the strain I’m looking for, but getting skunk from the quality growers KC deals with gave me hope that it would at least be a nice drop. First off, that nose is pungent and gassy as hell, it is bar none the most pungent weed I’ve had from any MOM. My wife had me air the house out after rolling a joint. It’s still not roadkill level, but this is definitely some legit skunk, zero hints of fruits or other shit, it’s straight up skunky gas. As you can see from the pics (that’s the whole quarter) it came as 2 very good looking buds of ~3.5g each. The cure and humidity is absolutely perfect, it’s plush, fresh, real nice. Grinding this up released the fragrance and it was very pleasant to play with. Smoking this, I can say this is one of the most pleasant smoke I’ve had from any MOM. The terps come through hard, the smoke is creamy, extremely smooth (you can take huge rips and not not cough), very nice. My only complaint is that I rolled a pretty fat joint, was the first of my day and I didn’t get much of a buzz out of smoking all of it. Skunk has never been a very heavy hitter, but this stands out as one of the weakest buzz I’ve had, reminds me of 1:1 CBD strains. Def a case of needing a little kick, be it with a bit of oil or hash. Giving this a 8.5/10, would have been a 9 if the potency was higher. I don’t usually grade weed based on potency, but this is a special case.
Incentive for Customers: The usual 20% for 4+ quarters is a very nice feature of Kootenay,. They also have a new WELCOME2019 code which gives you 50$ on the first order (I don’t think it works if you already used the older WELCOME code). Also, each month they have a 10% clearance sale, followed by a 15% strain release sale. Those do not stack with the 50$ welcome code, but they do stack with the 20% mix and match. Makes for pretty cheap OZ when all said and done.
Incentive for Review: Product was received for free for a review.
Notes: I had listed 4 strains and they only sent 3 of them. I didn’t bother asking or mentioning, figured they were either out or messed up, either way it being free, no biggie. The missing strain was Mango Tango.
Overall, this wasn’t my best order from them, but the skunk was a very nice find and I’ll definitely be ordering more of it despite the potency issue. So satisfying to finally get that long lost taste :)

Overall rating out of 10...: 8.5/10
Sign Up: No idea, was a hookup on Discord, I don’t have an account on the site.
Ordering & Pricing: Was obtained free. Product is currently on sale at 22$ a gram.
Communication: King is very active on here and on the Discord, always quick to reply, great to talk and deal with.
Packaging: The stuff came into small plastic containers, lined with a silicon cup. The containers are childproof (and apparently stoner proof too, lol, I think I figured it tho). Everything was inside a metallic heat bag, sealed, in a bubble mailer. Pretty standard, zero issue.
Products / Photos: ** Will post pictures later **
Super Lemon Haze Hash: Taste was strong, typical of high THC hash strains. Not exactly smooth, not particularly good tasting, but shiiiite does this pack a punch. I really did not expect hash of that price range to be so strong, I only smoked a bit and got extremely baked. I’m no expert on bubble/melt hash, but this definitely bubbled when heated, kind of bloated a bit under heat and then collapsed once cooled. Did not turn liquid.. Guessing it’s about a 50% melt. Not exactly the most fun product to smoke, but the buzz is really strong.
Girl Scout Cookies Hash: Very similar in all aspects to the Super Lemon Haze, but it has a distinct sweetness to it that the other did not have. Again got pretty baked, this stuff is potent... a more relaxed buzz than the SLH. 50% melt.
God’s Green Crack Hash: This tasted really good, definitely recognize the GGC taste and signature head buzz, also a ~50% melt. Very close to the SLH in terms of potency. Overall, this is my favorite taste-wise.
Blueberry Hash: This product has added terps (it is not made blueberry kief). I expected those terped products to be pretty shit but I was pleasantly surprised. The taste is smoother than the regular ones and the terps really add a nice dimension to the smoke. The blueberry taste was extremely discreet and faint, really not strong, could have been a tiny bit more terped actually. This one, surprisingly, was not melty, it simply burned and left an ash ghost of itself behind. Buzz seemed lighter as well, but still strong stuff.
Espresso Hash: This product has added terps. Again expected not to enjoy added terps and this was really good. You can really taste the espresso while smoking it, but it’s really not too much, just perfect, sweet, more like a milk coffee than a bitter espresso, creamy and smooth. Nice competent buzz and did not melt, like the blueberry left a ghost of itself in ash behind.
Incentive for Customers: KT offers a lot of repeat buyer incentives, go check their site, it’s pretty intricate. The more you buy over time, the cheaper everything gets.
Incentive for Review: Product was offered for free so I could review it and compare it to a similar order I had just made with Cheebas. Overall, KT’s hash was more enjoyable but the price is also higher.
Notes: Nothing much to add, but this is some good stuff. Not old school by any means, not full melt either, but it’s excellent for the price.

Packaging: They like small boxes with a good food grade vacuum, zero odor until the vacuum is broken. They take care not to over vacuum also, buds are never crushed. This was their new year special, 200$ OZ. First time I tried Meisho’s stuff which usually sits at 325-350$ an OZ. Great looking buds, caked, nice purple hues (I don’t remember my other order of C&C to have purple). Buds are medium sized, no big ones in here, couple of popcorn sized. The product is dry, crunchy dry. Breaking it reveals a very faint smell of freshness, it’s not quite dead, but it’s damn close, smells on point though for the strain, exactly as I remember it. Unfortunately though, this does not burn very well, I had to relight the joint a couple times and it just kept tunneling and canoeing. The ash is pretty dark too. There is no harshness however, this is smooth, thick, creamy smoke as I remember from my previous brush with this strain. The taste is good, but almost devoid of terms. I paid 125$ for half a OZ, in my opinion it’s very overpriced given it’s dryness. The previous batch I had was from Planet Pot at 200$/OZ and kicked this out of the water with eyes closed. Giving this a 7/10.

Great looking strain, but most of the buds in this 3.5 are pretty tiny, so no lookers in there. The buds are fairly dark with the typical almost black leaves of breath strains and the nose definitely has that distinctive breath smell. Again, this is very dry, crunchy, so nose is muted. Cracking these open didn’t help much, it’s dry through and through. The nose is hard to describe, there’s the typical breath smell, but there’s also something that reminds me of beef jerky, or dry meats, herbs and spices included. Smoking this, it burned well, light grey ash and the taste really follows the nose, reminds me a lot of Cactus Breath from Kootenay, but it’s less refined. That dried meat that was a smell while grinding it shines through again this time as taste, a rich taste that reminds me a bit of middle eastern spiced and grilled food. The smoke is rich and smooth. While I like the strain, I feel the excessive dryness probably turned an absolutely insane strain into something a bit spoiled. Hopefully the boveda it’s with will make it better over time. For now, again, this is overpriced stuff. Kootenay’s Cactus Breath walks all over this.

I did smoke a bit but it was with hash, so I guess it’s hard to comment on anything for now. Will revisit, but pretty sure it’s the same batch as my last order anyway, so not expecting to be wooed.

Meat Breath FSE sauce: Have not tried it yet, will report later. Pretty liquid, tiny crystals, little nose.
UK Cheese FSE sauce: Liquid with tiny crystals that from a sugary depot on the sides of the glass jar after the liquid part drops to the bottom. This stuff REEKS, the nose is very strong and it honestly smells pretty nasty, I was scared to vape this. It smells like old hockey socks that a cat pissed on, it’s horrible, lol. That said, once in the pico/sai, I was surprised to find a completely different taste. It’s pretty gassy, bit sweet... There is a bit of that strong cheese coming through as well, but it’s surprisingly tame and pretty much overtaken by the gas and sweetness. Pretty good stuff!!! Buzz was strong and very relaxing, couch lock goodness.

Notes: The samples were included because I complained about the excessive dryness in my last order. Apparently, dry is all they have. It’s a shame really, cause you can see those are some killer and wild genetics, but they’re doing some OCS-style curing on that stuff and drying it beyond saving. Such a shame.

Sign Up: Simple no frills, they asked for ID. Account needed to be verified/accepted, it happened fast.
Ordering & Pricing: I had a few issues with the site resetting my cart, which kinda sucked, had to rebuild my cart 3 times before I could finalize my order. Pricing of their weed is a little bit above average, this is not a 99$ OZ MOM, but they do have cheaper options in the 120$ range or so. As far as the hash goes, I don’t have much basis for comparison MOM-wise, seems most MOMs either don’t have hash or sell the crap Mercedes style crap. If I compare with my street experience, their hash prices are good, but not cheap either.
Communication: I talked with the hash guy from Cheebas on Discord and he was helpful and real quick to reply, we had a long talk and you can see he’s passionate about hash, just as I am. Didn’t feel rushed or pressured into anything, was given clear opinions on the strains, including him telling me their lower grades are pretty shit, but people like/request it, so they keep it there for that reason.
Packaging: Standard bubble mailer, then a standard food grade vacuum bag. All the hash was either in small glass vials with a plastic cover, or a pill-style plastic bottle (the 7g came in that, others in the smaller glass). The weed was in a thick plastic branded bag, same format as mylar, but it was plastic. Fine by me, weed wasn’t too crushed. No complaints!

As you can see, the buds are small, borderline popcorn. I don’t really mind, but it wasn’t listed as such. I have the worse of luck with bud sizes in general, so I guess I’m fine with it loll. The smell on this is quite intense, it really smells like dank cheese. I get zero blueberry in the nose, it’s just intense cheese (first strong nosed cheese I get ever). Very different from the Blue Cheese I got from The Green Ace (which was very blueberry).
Breaking this up, the smell of cheese just gets stronger. It’s not overwhelming and it’s distinctively a cheese smell, like slightly repugnant (not in a bad way lol). The inside of the bud still has a bit of humidity, it’s bouncy and doesn’t crunch. Rolled one up (my preferred way of tasting flower) and blazed it. I didn’t get a single hint of blueberry during the whole joint, so it’s really leaning on cheese hard. The taste was kind of nothing special, it’s a mix of sour with a tiny but sharp bitterness. There’s also a very faint spiciness to it, the kind that makes the back of your nose tingle. Not to the point of sneezing, but def noticeable. In other words this isn’t exactly a delight, but it’s still very smooth, so not bad. I didn’t even look to see if this is indica, sativa or hybrid, but the buzz I got feels hybrid leaning on indica. The potency is very good, nice strong buzz. On a 10 scale, this a little short of a 7 but lets call it that.
Mazar Sharif Hash: Pic later --- This smells like it’s right out of 1990, back when import hash dominated the market around here in Quebec. The smell is where the similarities end though, as the texture is much more malleable than the old school stuff. It’s hard to describe, but it’s elastic, sticky. It has a fairly dark brown color, but when you crack it open, it reveals a light blonde color, very similar to classic Moroccan. The texture reminds me of Lebanese Blonde, but less grainy.
I smoked this in a joint yesterday with some CE FC GSC and I had a hard time evaluating the taste... so I tried again tonight with my grand-pa pipe (a tobacco pipe that only ever smoked hash) so to get it’s taste. I had a lot of issues getting a burn going on this, it would produce a lot of smoke, but would not go into a slow burn. I even left it burning a bit and it would still just stop when I’d take off the flame. Not used to this... I eventually managed to get it burning and got a proper taste. The taste is nothing amazing, mostly sour, a bit earthy, nothing like what I remember from similar hashes back in the day. I honestly doesn’t taste real good, but it’s not bad either. Better than Mercedes, but barely.
I didn’t smoke much, maybe 0.2 gram or so and I got a nice smooth buzz. Not very strong, but that type should not be strong either. The effects were definitely a creep up, at first I didn’t feel much but it ramped up nicely over 5-10 min. Not too couch lock, very functional buzz.
Giving it an overall 7/10.
UK Cheese Hash: Pic later --- This one is mostly black, through and through, It’s malleable, but has a dryish crust around it, you can squeeze it and flatten it easily between fingers, but you can feel it cracking/crumbling a bit. Nose-wise, be it in the little container or after breaking it in half, this has a very faint smell. Like the Mazar, I pressed a little flat bit (about 0.2g) and used my grand-pa tobacco pipe. I also had a hard time getting this one lit, even with 4-5 seconds of flame and then leaving it flaming some more, the thing would stop smoking as soon as flame was off. I managed to get it going and could finally get a proper taste test. There is very little terps coming though and has a mostly sour/bitter taste. Not harsh at all, very smooth and rather thick smoke. Can’t say I enjoyed the taste, the bitterness wasn’t a positive thing. The buzz however came in strong. I was already still a bit baked from the Mazar, but this is clearly some next level shit. Nothing dramatic, but I got a solid buzz going, gonna take a break before I check others for sure loll. Gonna give this one a 7/10 also, bonus for the buzz, but malus for the bitterness.
BC Premo cured hash: --- First impressions is this looks and smells like moroccan a lot, but it seems softer. Looks very promising. The texture is soft and malleable, has an hazelnut brown color outside and light blonde interior when you break it up. Its so light in some spots its like beach sand, gorgeous. Smoked this like I did the others and the trend continues, it was very hard to light up. The taste wasn’t amazing, similar to the other 2, earthy/sour with a tiny bit of bitterness. Its less bitter than the others, so but I wouldn’t say it tastes good. Buzz was ok, not too strong, very indica/couch lock, fell asleep shortly after smoking it while sitting at my computer lol. Another barely 7/10 here.. Competent potency but no fun to smoke. One reviewer on their site said it was the best hash he ever had. I’m very sorry for him.
Wheres my bike Hash: Dark/black, soft but not sticky, has almost no nose out of the little bottle it came in with. Smoked this in the bong. The taste is pretty generic/bland, earthy, bit sour, not bitter unlike some of the others. The taste really isn’t that good, but it’s not bad either. Packs a punch, has a more uplifting sativaish buzz than the others. 7.5.10
Blueberry Hash: Same texture, appearance, lack of smell as Where’s my bike. Taste is a very faint sweet/berry taste but it’s really just tiny lapses of it, less earthy perhaps a bit more flowery. Smooth... Unsure about buzz, I was mixing at that point. 7.5/10
Sweet Island Skunk Hash: Same texture and appearance as the other dark ones, but a bit more green in the color. Taste is again faint, but I do feel a tiny bit of sweetness and skunkiness peaking through, ever so faint again. Smooth smoke, unsure about buzz. 7.5/10
Incentive for Customers: They have a 10% (Discord10) --- Note that they charge tax, so that 10% pretty much saves you taxes, nothing much more.
Incentive for Review: None
Notes: The general feeling I have here is that they are all very similar in taste. While there are small subtleties, none of them really sticks out of the fray. There are none of these products that made me want to buy again, but they are still potent and relatively smooth for the most part so I can definitely see an effort that I have rarely seen from MOMs in terms of quality. We’re still miles from better hashes I smoked as a teen, or from more recent stuff like Herbal Dispatch’s Moroccan, or Bubble Extract’s GGC hash or lemon kush hash which were all about in the same price range. They all provided a significant and in some cases strong buzz so I have absolutely no complaints potency-wise.

Ordering & Pricing: Smooth as usu...al, they had a 15% code for existing members at the time of the order so I took advantage of that. Their 20% off on 4x+ quarters is always nice. Also had a 25$ off on top of it all because of a bad quarter of Cactus Breath in my last order.
Communication: Fine, asked for recommendations and they replied rapidly with good suggestions.
Packaging: Bubbler, vacuum bag and then a clear plastic for each strain with a 4g Boveda in each. No complaints, I love those containers.

Sour Secret Strawberry Banana: Longest strain name evar! I asked for recommendations for tasty and terpy strains, this was one of them. The nose right out of the jar is relatively tame, I expected something louder. That said the smell is very nice. It’s hard to describe, but I definitely could not detect strawberry or banana aromas. The buds are large and really nice, pretty standard structure. Taste-wise, this was very different from the nose.. The main component of the aroma is sourness, but there’s a nice sweetness that balances it almost perfectly. Again, I could not detect banana or strawberry, but there is definitely a sweetness that probably comes from that strain. The smoke from this is very thick and smooth, I absolutely love that kind of smoke. Buzz is smooth and balanced. Very nice strain overall, I’ll be ordering some more of this, awesome 9/10.

Slurricane: Ahhh the infamous Slurricane, heard so much good about this and last time they stocked it, it sold out in a few hours. I had never tried that strain and it’s been on my list for a long time. The nugs I got were pretty small, borderline popcorn but they weren’t dry, so I’m happy nonetheless. There was a noticeable amount of shake in the jar, but nothing dramatic. The nose on this is relatively tame and it has a very unique smell. I can’t quite name what it is, I read people calling it fruity, but it’s not exactly that, it’s a bit citrucy, but with a sweetness to it. The nose reminds me of a faint version of Watermelon, it’s definitely in the same zone. The smoke however took me by surprise, it tastes much stronger than it taste (good strong, not harsh at all, but very tasty). The taste is hard to describe, there’s a certain sourness to it (citrucy) but also a sweetness that’s not quite fruity, more like candy. There’s a slight soapy taste to it, not sure how to describe it but it reminds me a bit of a clothes dryer exhaust vapor. Sounds weird I know, but it’s not a bad thing, it really tastes amazing, it’s a real treat. Buzz was very mellow, not a strong strain, but real pleasant and balanced. Another 9/10!

Green Grease Monkey: Another recommended strain by the guys at KC. This one has the strongest nose of the strains in this order, it has a very nice smell. The buds look nice, medium large. The parent strains of this are listed as Gorilla Glue and Cookies+Cream, both strains I’m familiar with, but I can’t say I found much in common with either. There is that GG spiciness coming through, but the signature GG taste is nowhere to be found. It has the creaminess of Cookies and Cream, but not the sweetness. On top of all of this, there’s a clear sourness that’s overwhelming both of those previously described taste. It’s a pretty smooth smoke, but I’m not a huge fan of the terp profile, that sourness kind of dominates the taste and it doesn’t have much to compensate... The spicy aftertaste isn’t something I enjoy in weed much, so overall, not a fan of the taste. It’s definitely out of the ordinary though, I never had sour strains before and this one really hits a home run in that department. Giving it a 8/10 despite me not liking the taste, I would no re-order this one however. Special mention to the amount of trichomes on this one, it’s insane, check that microscope pic!

Watermelon Didn’t smoke this one yet but it looks pretty identical to the previous batch I had. Such an amazing smell! I got bigger buds than last time and it looks a little more humid as well, I’m sure it will be a delight like the last time. This is terpy as hell and tastes like sour candy watermelon slices with a little spicy kick in the aftertaste. This strain really is unique! The bud structure last time was very fox taily, but this time it’s much less like that and more regular in structure. I’ll update once I smoke it if there’s anything special to report :P

Sign Up: Pretty straightforward, no issues there. Adding the ID was a bit confusing so I just emailed it, then found out how to do it on the site.
Ordering & Pricing: Super easy ordering, pricing seems on the chea...p side
Communication: Pretty good other than my order being marked as ’Processing’ and not getting a tracking number on the next business day. Asked the day after that on discord and got my tracking, only to realize it had been delivered already (wife picked it and didn’t tell me, lol). So it showed up the next day after ordering, pretty impressive.
Packaging: Somewhat big box, then a sealed plastic bag (vacuum style but not vacuumed), inside were half mylar half plastic zips containing the weed. No smell, discreet labels, all good.
Products / Photos: Album here: https://imgur.com/a/vYThqiL
Not going to do individual strain reviews for now, as I smoked 3 of them so far and they were all ’meh’. There’s a general theme going on here and without even smoking the rest I can already put out a pretty clear opinion; all those samples are faint and either dry, or have been rehumidified, or got a pretty terrible cure job. First thing I did was open each of the bags to get nose raped by awesome aromas, only, they were faint, very faint. It’s a case of good genetics that were poorly cured, or kept for too long, not sure what it is. The Sunset Sherbet had good humidity, but still very little terps. Haven’t smoked the Purple Space Cookies yet but this one is like bone dry.
The 3 I smoked so far are Grape Ape, NY Cheese and Sunset Sherbet. All of them have very good nose (faint, but good) but once you light it up, the smoke just overwhelms the little terpenes that are left, leaving a pretty harsh and bland taste. The smoothest smoke was the NY Cheese and Grape Ape was spicy/peppery as hell to the point of making it pretty harsh.
Edit: Just tried the Purple Space Cookies. Despite it’s almost total dryness, this lets a bit of terpenes go through the smoke and it’s actually not so bad. It has a nice little berry/sweet taste, but it’s still relatively faint. Best of the bunch so far tastewise, but the dryness is excessive.
Edit 2: Just had the Purple Dream (one guy on Discord asked I check that one out next, /wave whoever you were). Finally one that steps out of the mold a bit. It’s extremely dry (it cracked and russled as I broke it into pieces to grind it) but the terps are strong with this one despite that. I reckon a boveda might make this pretty good. There is a little harshness to the smoke but nothing extreme and it has a nice berry-grape taste and smell to it that’s very nice. It reminds me A LOT of a strain called ’Purple Lightning’ I got in my very first MOM order. Might be the same strain with diff name (could not find much info on Purple Lightning on the internet, seemed like a made up name). Decent stuff, I’d give this a 7/10 and it’ll make it to 7.5 maybe more once rehumidified a bit. I’ll report back.
Edit 3: Tried the Gas Mask earlier. Dry again, no surprise here and the nose even grounded is extremely faint. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the smoke taste, this is a very smooth smoke, zero harshness and it has a nice little sour taste. Giving it a 7/10 as well.
Edit 4: Tried the last sample, Sugar Cookies. Dry again. This has about no terpenes left, even grounded it had almost no smell. The smoke is smooth with a tiny bit of spice. Not good not bad giving this a 6/10.
Incentive for Customers: coupon first75 on first order, canadianmoms10% for an extra 10%, free shipping w/ 100$ min order (before coupons!). Got approx 13g of weed delivered to my door for 15$. Sample pack is custom made, you chose the strains.

Overall rating out of 10: 6.5/10
Sign Up: Pretty straightforward, no issues there.

Sign Up: Signup was simple. I had to send ID through the site and it was a bit confusing, might be because I was on my phone, had to edit profile and then use some obscure options. It worked out but it wasn’t exactly simple....
Ordering & Pricing: Prices throughout the site are pretty standard, I wouldn’t say it’s cheap. There was a 25% off code provided by them here on the forum which made them better.
Communication: This part went well, I had many little issues with the site / checkout and they were quick to reply and efficient in resolving the issues.
Packaging: This was one of the least paranoid packages I got (I’m used to several layers of vacuum). There was no vacuum bag but the weed was in vacuum sealed thick Mylar baggies, branded. Absolutely no smell despite all this. The vape pen was inside a very tight plastic tube, which in turn was inside a large aluminum ’bullet’ type tube. CBD capsules were in a standard plastic bottle with plenty of cotton to prevent them from moving during transport. Everything was inside a box with packing ’peanuts’, which was sealed with tape, inside a bubble mailer.
Products / Photos: I was offered samples after reporting some issues to them following a post they made here. I ordered CBD pills for my mother which suffers from severe chronic back and knee pains, a vape pen to see what the type is all about (only ever used dry vapes before) and an height of their G-Code weed. I got a sample of Citrus Skunk as well as a sample of Infinity, I don’t have a balance but they looked like 3/4 of a gram each. I have not tested all the products yet.

As you can see from the picture, this is purple as hell, it’s actually my first true purple score from a MOM and it’s so purple it’s almost black, quite an alien looking bud. I’ll say it up front, it’s not very fresh, it looks like it dried and was rehumidified. It’s got some humidity to it as I received it, but looking at it close (zoom the pic) you can see the pistils have dried to their death at some point. The nose of this weed is absolutely unique, it literally smells exactly what pure THC smells when you smoke dab it, you know shatter/wax/etc that is terpless? That unique taste, this is what this smells like when it’s fresh. It’s very earthy, borders chocolate/coffee, it’s hard to describe. Smoking this was a bit of a bummer because of the lack of freshness, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either, not much taste/terps make it through the smoke. The smoke isn’t harsh though, it’s still a good smoke. The buzz is most definitely a creeper, when I was done smoking my joint I wasn’t impressed at all but over the next 15 mins it kicked in hard. I didn’t do my homework to see if it’s sativa or indica but the buzz is definitely sativa leaning, good headbuzz, very light body effects, not sleepy, good buzz! I’m giving this a 7/10, but I bet if it were fresher this would be close to a 10. I found a seed in the first bud I ground, no idea if there are others.
Citrus Skunk: https://i.imgur.com/VHJ0OVe.jpg
Initial impression on nose is that it seems past it’s prime, bit dry, no terp attack when opening the bag. I messed around with it a bit to take the pictures and got a couple of nice whiffs come out of it. After opening the bud and grinding it, a very nice smell comes out, a nice mix of exactly what the strain states, citrus with a hint of skunk. The bud I got was pretty dry and spending a couple days with a boveda didn’t really bring it back to life. Despite that, the smoke on this tasted very nice, but it does have a spicy aftertaste that attacks the back of the nose a bit, nothing extreme but I wasn’t able to take huge puffs on this without coughing. Overall it clearly suffers from it’s dryness and I’m sure it was a much better bud back when it was fresher. Giving it a 7/10, I definitely cannot agree with the AAAA rating on this bud as I received it. It would be really good weed if priced at 125$ or so per OZ, but as an AAAA it’s overrated.

This one seemed fresher and had a nice smell to it when opening the bag. It has a piney smell mostly, real nice. Once ground, I realized it was pretty dry, the smell again is nice but really faint. Started smoking it and it pretty much has no terpenes getting through. I botched it after 5-6 puffs and smoked something else. This is like a 4/10 for me. Can’t comment on the buzz didn’t smoke enough.
Best Pen: Don’t have a good pic of this. Unfortunately this one leaked during transport and lost most of it’s contents inside the transport tube. Looking at it I’m guessing I have 1/3 left in it. It doesn’t seem damaged and after cleaning it up, it doesn’t seem to be leaking anymore and it’s functional. The website doesn’t give a choice of strain and there is no indication of one anywhere, not sure what the hell I smoked. In any case, it doesn’t have much taste over the THC itself, pulls well, works well and it only took 3-4 draws to make me very stoned. No complaints, it does the job and it tastes fine.
CBD capsules: The bottle contains 20 capsules of 20mg each. I have not tried them, they are for my mother. I’ll try one before to make sure there’s no buzz (my mom is scared of that). Will update later.

Notes: I had lots of small issues with the site, nothing big. I reported them and I suppose they will work on fixing them. One of the issues was shipping costs, their FAQ state it’s a 17.50$ flat rate. When I went to checkout, it was 20$. Then when I actually finished the checkout, it was 25$. I asked about it and was told the 17.50 was an error and they need to fix the FAQ... The extra 5$ is because they have variable shipping rates depending on the province. There was no mention of this at checkout until it was too late. Tax was also added, despite the final checkout ledger listing it at 0$... Ended up making what I had to send about 12.50$ more than what I had agreed on. I complained and they allowed me to send 5$ less for the extra shipping. I didn’t complain about the tax, but I feel it should be stated in the checkout ledger at the very least.
Overall, I’ll just say that their definition of AAAA and mine are not aligned.
