Strain Name: Wedding Cake
Strain Fidelity: Second time trying this strain and it didn’t have the characteristic peppery profile of cookies, very different from the version I got from TGA a while back.
Size of buds: 8.5/10 Nice large nugs, didn’t weight them but eyeballing it they’re prob close to 2 grams
Bag Appeal: 7/10 Pretty plain looking buds, good trim (looks machine but still good), pretty generic colors
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 Could be fresher but has some life in it, no complaints
Smell Intensity: 6/10 Fairly faint smell from opening the bag, definitely not a stinker. Does not have that typical peppery smell I associate with cookie crosses.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8.5/10 Very smooth smoke but gets a bit harsher the further you get on the joint
Taste Intensity: 7/10 Not very intense, but the terps make it through
Taste Complexity: 8/10 There’s a tinge of that pepper taste I associate with cookies, but it’s pretty faint. Unlike other cookies I did taste slight sweetness/doughy notes. Pretty nice!
Buzz Intensity: 7.5/10 Fairly competent buzz but not a heavy hitter, felt more indica leaning
Price: 162.40/OZ
Value: The price is about right!
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA (they rate it as AAA+, not quite there IMHO but good quality/value rating)

Strain Name: Girl Scout Cookies
Strain Fidelity: I’ve never had ’generic’ GSC and this feels totally different from most crosses I’ve had, and totally alien to the Forum Cut GSC I’ve had from CE. Doesn’t look, smell or taste like it. However, it does fit the taste I’d associate with cookies/doughy/sweet.
Size of buds: 8/10 Nice big nugs, close to 2g each (eyeballing)
Bag Appeal: 7.5/10 Pretty generic looking, good trim (machine most likely)
Cure & Humidity: 8/10 Decent freshness
Smell Intensity: 5/10 This is where it’s hurting, this had a very generic herb smell, not very appealing
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Very smooth smoke, got a bit harsher towards the end
Taste Intensity: 8/10 The taste comes out really well.
Taste Complexity: 8.5/10 I really enjoyed this, a mix of dough/cookie/sweet with a tiny hint of fruit, very nice terp profile
Buzz Intensity: 7.5/10 Competent hybrid buzz, nothing extraordinary but nice buzz
Price: 140/OZ
Value: Excellent value at the price tag
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA, would have been AAA+ weren’t it for that deceptive bag smell

Strain Name: Black Diamond
Strain Fidelity: 10/10 I’ve had plenty of samples of this strain before and this is instantly recognizable, classic, accurate, perfect.
Size of buds: 8/10 Again nice fat nugs, close to 2g each (eyeballing)
Bag Appeal: 8.5/10 Typical tight roundish buds, an even shade of purple mixing with dark greens, very nice looking buds
Cure & Humidity: 10/10 Super fresh, close to clogging the grinder, as it should be!
Smell Intensity: 8/10 Good bag smell, intensifies when ground, could be stronger but has some gas, very clear terps
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8.5/10 Black Diamond isn’t known for it’s smoothness, but this smoked pretty good. The smoke does come in strong and comes close to overpower the terps, but the terps still win the battle up to the filter.
Taste Intensity: 8/10 Terps could come on stronger, but they are discernable in a consistent manner
Taste Complexity: 8/10 Typical Black Diamond, that gassy/grassy/fruity staple taste and smell. Not the most exocitc strain but this is one of the best renditions of it I’ve had.
Buzz Intensity: 8.5/10 Good hybrid / indica leaning feeling, strong but not overpowering
Price: 162.40/OZ
Value: Price is right
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA+ as advertized
Notes: While everything about this strain is good up to this point, there is one issue that bothered me. I haven’t been able to work it in the ratings, so I’m putting a note here. This weed had a curious/unexpected/unusual effect on me in that it froze my whole mouth (tongue and cheeks) pretty bad when I smoked the first joint of it. I smoked a second joint the next day to see if this effect would appear again and it was much less intense the second time around, despite taking a much bigger joint. The freezing effect is like exactly the same thing you get when you accidentally eat bug repellent. I talked to LowPriceBud about it and they said they had no reports of this and that they are smoking it themselves. I talked to another customer who got it and said he didn’t feel it. Could just be the terps rubbing me wrong, or it could be something else. That first joint also had the annoying tendency to die off several times while actively smoking it (had to relight it 5-6 times at least). Second one didn’t have that issue. Soooo, I dunno what to make of this.

Incentive for Review: Samples were offered for free in exchange for an unbiased and fair review
Notes: Told them this privately, but special mention for a new MOM not overrating their buds, it’s a rare thing in this day and age. I’m exclusively interested in the quads/craft market but these are very good AAA/AAA+ offerings for prices that match the name of the site.

** I typically do not do a second review the same MOM so close in time, but I’ve accepted to make an exception this time around because they started out as a budget weed MOM and are introducing a new line of premium strains. I’m fairly sure I asked to limit to about 3 products and I got 8, so I...ll be adding to this review when I get to the other products. **
MOM Name: Blowout420
Overall rating out of 10: 8/10
Sign Up: N/A samples were offered through Discord
Ordering & Pricing: N/A
Communication: Excellent, no complaints
Packaging: Taped small box, vac seal, small individual sealed mylar bags, perfect

https://i.imgur.com/KmxLQ0S.jpg
Strain Name: Tom Ford Pink Kush ’Premium’
Strain Fidelity: Accurate rendition based on my limited sampling of Tom Ford, it’s kushy and sharp. Does not have the perfumy gas taste the others I tried had, but was very close/similar.
Size of buds: 7/10 Not big not small but this was a relatively small sample
Bag Appeal: 8.5/10 Nice colors, some purple hues in there, definitely the best looking I’ve had in this order
Cure & Humidity: 7.5/10 Came in with a Boveda so humidity was proper, but I have a feeling it went a little too dry during the curing process. It’s not very loud smelling or tasting.
Smell Intensity: 7/10 It definitely smells really good, but it’s not very strong smelling. Nice kush dominant smell.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 No complaints here, very smooth with a slight sharp profile
Taste Intensity: 7.5/10 Again not overly strong taste but I can definitely taste the terps over the smoke
Taste Complexity: 8/10 A dominantly kushy taste that’s not particularly strong, with a sharp finale, very pleasant
Buzz Intensity: 10/10 I was surprised by this, very heavy hitting buzz, had to tap out before the end of my relatively small joint. Some of the strongest hitting stuff I’ve smoked lately for sure.
Price: 220/OZ
Value: 180/OZ would be more fair, but 220 isn’t unreasonnable
’A’ Scale Rating: This was really good, but not quite a quad in my book. There are better options on the market in that price bracket, but it was definitely AAA+. A better cure/preservation would undoubtedly make it a quad.

Strain Name: Rockstar x Tuna ’Premium’
Strain Fidelity: Haven’t had neither Tuna or Rockstar very often, so I’m hardpressed to evaluate this point. Reminds me more of Tuna than Rockstar, for the little experience I have with both.
Size of buds: 7/10 Rather small buds but again, small sample so it’s expected.
Bag Appeal: 8.5/10 The smallness of the nugs makes it hard to judge, one of the buds was noticeably much more purple than the other. Nice colors, nice trim, it’s all good.
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 Again it feels like it went dry and was rehumidified, not an overly strong smell even after grinding it up.
Smell Intensity: 7.5/10 Smells really nice but not super strong.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Tuna is a strong kush and strong kushes are always pretty aggressive, but despite this, it was surprisingly smooth. No kissing after a joint of this, you get really stinky :D
Taste Intensity: 8/10 Tastes stronger than it smells for sure, a nice strong kush smell with some gas undertones
Taste Complexity: 8/10 I can’t say I recognize any of the characteristics of Rockstar here, but I do recognize the Tuna kush. A nice strong kush taste.
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Again, a solid hitter. Not as strong as the Tom Ford, but definitely not a lightweight.
Price: 220/OZ
Value: Again, I feel this isn’t quite a quad and there is a lot of competition in that bracket. I’d value this at between 160 and 180 OZ, but 220 isn’t unreasonnable, competition is intense :D
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA, very close to AAA+

Strain Name: Super Silver Haze ’Premium’
Strain Fidelity: Never had that strain so I can’t really comment. Did have several ’Haze’ strains and I can’t say I’ve really recognized the typical Haze characteristics in the taste, but the buzz definitely is in that ballpark.
Size of buds: 8/10 Nice sized buds
Bag Appeal: 7.5/10 While it looks pretty plain, it’s got a good trim, buds look nice and the smell is solid. Not something that would catch your eye looking at it, but it definitely has a nose that makes you smell twice.
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 Again, feels like it was overdried during the curing process. The boveda kept it (or brought it back maybe) to a proper humidity level, but it feels like some of terps have been lost in the process.
Smell Intensity: 8/10 Doesn’t have a super strong taste, but it’s very present. Has a fruity/hazy smell, very nice, possibibly the nicest smelling of these samples
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 No complaints, this is a smooth smoke.
Taste Intensity: 8/10 Nice smooth taste. Like most fruity strains it’s not super strong, but the smoke doesn’t interfere either so you can really enjoy the terpenes fully.
Taste Complexity: 9/10 A nice predominantly fruity taste with an ever so slight background of haze. Very pleasant smoke.
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 By sativa standards, this is a pretty heavy hitter. I dind’t look at the exact lineage but I assume it’s a sativa leaning hybrid. If it’s a full on sativa, it’s definitely some of the strongest sativa I’ve had.
Price: 220/OZ
Value: Good sativas are hard to come by, 200/OZ is about where I’d price this, 220 isn’t bad at all
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA+
Notes: The trichomes on these buds are the milkiest I’ve ever seen since I’ve started taking close up shots. I was kind of worried when I first saw it, but despite all my scrutiny I can’t see anything wrong with them. There is absolutely nothing wrong in the smell or smoke either, so I’m just pointing out how wildly different from anything I’ve seen before this is.

Strain Name: Pink Kush
Strain Fidelity: Fairly typical Pink Kush, not as gassy as some others I’ve tried, see below
Size of buds: 6/10 3 tiny buds composed the sample, nothing amazing size-wize
Bag Appeal: 7.5/10 They were the most intact buds in this order, nice long hairs. I’m used to seeing a bit of purple in Pink Kush, not that I had it very often, but there is none to be seen here.
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 It’s almost a theme at this point, feels like it dried too much during cure and it’s been brought back from the brink with boveda. Some terps were definitely lost in the process.
Smell Intensity: 7/10 Pretty tame smell, nothing of the usual strong gas/perfumy taste I associate with Pink Kush
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8.5/10 No complaints here very smooth for a kush.
Taste Intensity: 8/10 The kush is predominant in the taste, not much if any of the usual gas this strain is known for.
Taste Complexity: 7/10 Fairly unidimentional but not bad at all, generic kush, smooth
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Typical heavy hitting known for this strain, always thought Pink Kush was a pure indica and this one is listed as hybrid, it definitely had a more hybrid buzz than other Pink Kush’s I’ve had. Buzz lasted an unusually long time (been smoking lots of sativa lately so that might play into it)
Price: 165/OZ
Value: Price is about right, not a steal at 165 but definitely within reason.
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA

Strain Name: Philosopher’s Stone Blueberry Hash
Strain Fidelity: Doesn’t really apply since this is clearly a terped very low grade hash
Size of buds: N/A
Bag Appeal: 5/10 Typical low grade very dark hash
Cure & Humidity: N/A
Smell Intensity: 9/10 This smells strongly of blueberry, like a muffin or pastry, maybe even candy
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Like most very low grade hash it’s fairly smooth. There is a bitterness to the taste that’s not very intense but still alway there and a bit annoying.
Taste Intensity: 8/10 The blueberry fake terps translate semi-well into the taste, it’s much less fruity/candy than the smell, but fairly good.
Taste Complexity: 6/10 It’s very unidimentional. Blueberry and a slight bitterness.
Buzz Intensity: 2/10 This is where the party ends, while it’s not a bad smoke, it’s amazingly weak in buzz. I smoked the whole sample which was about half a gram in two sittings (close to each other in time) in a bong and barely catched a buzz. I don’t even understand how hash can be so weak, it reminds me of the stuff I got from BMWO last year. Guessing this is the ’work bag’ that’s been pressed into hash or something?!
Price: 170/OZ (currently on sale at 140/OZ)
Value: It’s hard to put a value on a product that is so weak in potency, but I can say that Mercedes hash, while a bit less fun to smoke than this, is definitely significantly stronger in buzz and is typically 90-150$/OZ from most MOMs. I would not recommend this product at all.
’A’ Scale Rating: One star at best

Value: It’s hard to put a value on a product that is so weak in potency, but I can say that Mercedes hash, while a bit less fun to smoke than this, is definitely significantly stronger in buzz and is typically 90-150$/OZ from most MOMs. I would not recommend this product at all.

Strain Name: Mandarin Haze
Strain Fidelity: I never had Mandarin Haze, lineage is unclear, can’t find much info. Definitely has that characteristic ’haze’ taste when smoking it.
Size of buds: 8/10 Got a single bud as a sample, didn’t weight it but looked a little over a gram.
Bag Appeal: 7/10 Pretty average, the nug is very dense and tight, trimmed extremely close, it’s like a nugget.
Cure & Humidity: 6/10 It came in very dry, breaking it up revealed it was just as dry down to it’s core. I’ve had worse, but it’s definitely past the optimal level
Smell Intensity: 6/10 It’s very tame but has a very nice fruity nose. Because of how dry it is, breaking it up didn’t release much more smell, but it’s a nice pleasant fruity smell. Feels sweeter than other citrus strains and less sharp as well, reminds me of apricot or peach more than mandarin.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 5/10 I haven’t had that many Haze strains and I always found Hazes to be a bit sharp and harsh, it’s not a harshness that makes you cough, but rather asphyxiates (a bit). Not exactly a pleasant smoke, not smooth.
Taste Intensity: 6.5/10 The sweetness and fruitiness doesn’t translate much to the smoke, but it does feel more citrucy smoking it.
Taste Complexity: 6/10 It’s mostly a mix of citrus and the typical floral haze.
Buzz Intensity: 4/10 This is a heavily sativa leaning hybrid, smoked a pretty large joint and didn’t get much buzz, it was very light and short lived.
Price: Sells for 200$/OZ
Value: There is literally nothing amazing about this strain for me, it’s weak potency kills any possible redemption. Would not buy this.

Strain Name: Alien OG
Strain Fidelity: Never had Alien or Tahoe OG, let alone this cross of the two so no idea :D
Size of buds: 8/10 Sample was one big nug, didn’t weight it but a little over a gram eyeballing it
Bag Appeal: 7/10 Similar to the Mandarin, tight, very close trim, dense, pretty generic looking
Cure & Humidity: 6/10 Not quite as dry as the Mandarin, but pretty damn close. Breaking it up released a bit more aroma but not much.
Smell Intensity: 5/10 Again the dryness robbed most of the smell. It smells nice, I have a hard time pin pointing the actual smell/taste.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Smooth and sharp at the same time, no complaints
Taste Intensity: 7/10 Good taste, the smoke is tame so it lets the terps through very well, got tastier the closer I got to the filter.
Taste Complexity: 8.5/10 This was a pretty good smoke. Leafly described it as a mix of pine and lemon, can’t say I got much pine there but there’s definitely some lemon and perhaps a bit of sourness. It’s a pretty subtle taste, but it’s very enjoyable.
Buzz Intensity: 6.5/10 Definitely not a hard hitter, also didn’t last very long, but at least adequate. Definitely not something I’d pick for a chronic smoker.
Price: Listed at 150/OZ
Value: Seems about right for the price

Strain Fidelity: Definitely very kushy. I’m not a fan of Pink Kush usually, there’s a heavy background that’s chemical/perfumy and it really rubs me wrong. I didn’t get this with this one, it was kushy and gassy.
Size of buds: 8/10 Again one big nug, little over a gram eyeballing it
Bag Appeal: 7/10 Not particularly good looking, trim was decent, less dense than the others, not much colors
Cure & Humidity: 7.5/10 This had some humidity inside and some stickiness. Definitely much better than the other 2. The cure itself is solid, perhaps just a tiny bit too dry.
Smell Intensity: 8.5/10 Pungent kushy gas, when I broke the nug and ground it, it stank up the room, nice.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8.5/10 Kush is notoriously a bit harsh usually because of how intense it can be but this was surprisingly smooth and nice.
Taste Intensity: 9.5/10 No smoke taste at all it’s all terps, very tasty
Taste Complexity: 8/10 Not much else than kush coming through with a tinge of sharpness perhaps a tiny bit of citrus

This requires a pretty extensive preface. BMWO was the very first MOM I tried back in March 2018, I was stressed, excited, and in awe to have been so slow to realize buying weed online was a thing, I simply googled and they were the first to pop, the site was pro, they had lots of choices, prices to... me at the time seemed great (a quad on the streets here is 300+) and they had hash, and I’m a hash head.
Here’s a link to that order’s review:
https://canadianmom.co/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=812&p=6999
Gave them feedback after that order and they offered nothing. I didn’t realize at the thing how most MOMs actually back their product and will usually refund or replace shitty product, I was used to sucking it up when I get bad shit from a street dealer. After a while they showed up on here and their representative dropped a message on here telling everyone to just email her if you have concerns/questions. This was many months after the buy, probably 6 months.
So I wrote to her, explaining how I felt I was robbed on my first and only order with them, explaining that 200$ of that 292$ order was absolute shit. I was very diplomatic about it. Their replies were equally diplomatic, but were leading nowhere. After a lot of arguing, they offered me a 60$ coupon, which I refused. After more arguing, they bumped it to 100$. After pressing harder, ended up getting a 200$ coupon offer. I refused it at the time, because first off, that 200$ did not cover shipping (I realized later they have a 99$+ free shipping policy now, but anyway) but more importantly, I didn’t feel 200$ of THEIR product would be any compensation at all, but merely a way to shut me up. Despite pressing further (trying to get cash back instead of a coupon) I got nothing more. Neither the 100 or 200$ coupons were every applied to my account, but I think I still have that 60$ one in there.
Out of the blue, a few weeks ago, Micheal, their new representative approached me mentioning that bad review and how he would like to send me an OZ of samples to review. Considering I get that type of offer pretty often (MOMs live my reviews) it felt like it would be weird for me to accept that while I still had a withstanding issue with them. So I replied to him I would accept the OZ, but I would consider it a tentative replacement of my order, as opposed to a review pack. While in the end it’s all the same, it means that I would not close that withstanding issue unless the pack felt like a satisfactory replacement of my original order. Micheal accepted those terms.
There’s been a little hickup on the order composition, when I got the confirmation message that my order was ready to ship, it listed 17.5g across 5 strains instead of 28g, so I contacted Micheal again and he assured me it was an error and intercepted the package before it left, correcting the error. I ended up getting 3.5g x 4 and a 14g of Black Widow.
So this is the ’setting’ in which this review is being done. Please read the end of the review for the rest of the story :)
MOM Name: BMWO (Buymyweedonline)
Overall rating out of 10: 9/10
Sign Up: Standard stuff, requires ID
Ordering & Pricing: Pricing is a bit steep, they seem to have a very generic pricing frame where stuff is rated AA,AAA,AAAA,AAAAA and the price is per grade, rather than per strain. All their AAAAA are 260$ from what I could see, all their AAAA 225, etc. Like it’s been said several times before, they use a 5A system which most community members think it’s misleading.
Communication: In the context of this order, they’ve been very compromising. In the past however, they really are like talking to Bell Canada... You get the impression you’re talking to a pawn that has zero power to help you, and then they bump the issue to a superior and it always ends up in a never-ending run around.
Packaging: Small cardboard box, inside was a vac seal with plastic bottle containers. Not a fan of those bottles for long term use but they are certainly better than zips. Each container had 2 small bovedas, a lot of which were grainy/dried up.

Strain Name: The Black
Strain Fidelity: First time having this mysterious strain. Not much info on it’s lineage on Leafly or elsewhere I could find.
Size of buds: 6.5/10 Nice smallish round nugs
Bag Appeal: 7/10 It’s not dense at all, pretty leafy and airy, but it’s got some dark hues and quite a bit of trichomes to make up for it. Some parts of a few buds were almost black, name is on point :)
Cure & Humidity: 8.5/10 It’s plush, fairly fresh and well cured
Smell Intensity: 8.5/10 Smells very good, not super strong aroma but once busted up, it becomes very odorant.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 No complaints here, it has a kushy taste and kush can be a bit harsh but this is a smoother derivate of it
Taste Intensity: 8/10 The taste is very present and persisted to the end of the joint. It’s a smooth creamy taste, so not super intense but well bodied
Taste Complexity: 9.5/10 It’s predominantly kushy, but it’s also creamy and has a bit of a sour element to it, it trades between those 3 poles constantly as you smoke it, very pleasant and subtle complexity of taste. Could throw coffee and chocolate as tastes in there as well, very nice.
Buzz Intensity: 10/10 It’s listed as an indica on leafly, but the buzz felt like a balanced hybrid. Strong headbuzz with a solid body stone, not couch locky at all. I only smoked a small joint and it got me good.
Price: 260$/OZ
Value: This is great flower. The leafyness and airyness of the buds knock it’s value a bit. This would be an honest offer at 200$ an OZ.
’A’ Scale Rating: AAAA-

Strain Name: Black Widow
Strain Fidelity: Only had Black Widow once before, but legend has it it’s the same strain as White Widow which I’ve had many times before. It’s pretty different from the Black Widow I got before and not much alike any of the Whites I’ve had either. It has a predominantly peppery/kushy nose, which is not typical of Widows.
Size of buds: 7/10 Nothing huge but they aren’t small by any means.
Bag Appeal: 8.5/10 Nice looking buds, trim could be better but the leaves are caked, some dark hues here and there, doesn’t really look like the Widows I had before, it’s darker
Cure & Humidity: 8.5/10 The cure is good, but it’s a little over dried. Came with two bovedas. The cure locked the terps in real well though, so bonus points for that.
Smell Intensity: 8.5/10 It has a strong peppery/kushy smell, but it doesn’t stink the room too much. Once ground though it releases a nice strong smell.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 Kushy strains tend to be a bit harsh because of how intense the taste can get, but this one was very smooth despite the strong taste.
Taste Intensity: 9/10 You can fully taste the terps and they obliterate the smoke, very clean taste
Taste Complexity: 9/10 While definitely not the typical widow, the taste is fairly complex. It definitely leans on the more earthy/kushy side of the strain, but you still get a little bit of fruit (more citrus than the usual berry taste), a bit of skunk, I truely enjoyed the taste on this.
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 As usual for Widows, it hits fast and hard, but despite that provides a very functional buzz that’s energetic and not at all couch locky. There is a good body buzz going, but it’s not sedating. Typical Widow buzz that I really like, perfect daytime strain with little to no crash.
Price: Sells for 260$/OZ
Value: While pretty great in almost every way, I feel this would be fairer in the 200-220 range considering it’s definitely not an exotic/rare strain.
’A’ Scale Rating: This is listed as 5A on their backward rating system. Definitely AAAA in my book.

Strain Name: Blue Fin Tuna
Strain Fidelity: Never had tuna, this is supposed to have blueberry in it’s lineage, can’t say I smell or taste any blueberry or even fruit/sweetness in this strain.
Size of buds: 7/10 It was only a 3.5, it had one fairly big bud and smaller ones.
Bag Appeal: 9/10 Pretty caked, loudest smell of all this order, nice dark hues on some leaves, nice trim, good stuff.
Cure & Humidity: 8.5/10 Tad dry but good, cure is good too, this stuff is stinky
Smell Intensity: 9/10 Strong kush/skunky smell right out of the jar
Harshness vs Smoothness: 7.5/10 Again, a predominantly kushy taste that comes strong so it can get a bit harsh on big rips but it was a pleasant smoke.
Taste Intensity: 9/10 Strong taste, was good down to the filter
Taste Complexity: 9/10 Like mentioned before, no blueberry/sweet taste, but there is a little hint of berries in the finale, very so faint. The main taste is kushy, but with a freshness that’s hard to describe, perhaps lemoney/citrusy with a hint of cream/tart. A lot of character for sure. I wasn’t a huge fan of the terp profile, but this is not taken into account in the rating.
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Good strong indica buzz
Price: 260$/OZ
Value: I’d value it closer to 200-220 as well. It’s nice flower all over, but not exotic/craft.
’A’ Scale Rating: Another 5A from their rating system, I’d call it an AAAA

https://i.imgur.com/5BBxskI.jpg
Strain Name: Lemon Walker OG
Strain Fidelity: Never had that strain. There is a slight lemon background but it’s very faint, it’s mostly kushy.
Size of buds: 6/10 Fairly small buds overall
Bag Appeal: 7/10 The small buds make it hard to evaluate, but the buds are really nice. Trim is a bit rough, but it has nice long orange hairs that redeem it a bit.
Cure & Humidity: 7.5/10 Drier than I like
Smell Intensity: 7/10 The dryness make it a bit mute, but being an OG it’s a terp profile that I feel isn’t the strongest to begin with.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 This was very smooth no complaints.
Taste Intensity: 8.5/10 Tastes stronger than it smells, reminds me a bit of cookie strains but with a dash of lemon sharpness mixed in, got progressively more tasty as I approached the butt of the joint which is a rare thing.
Taste Complexity: 8.5/10 It’s really a duel between the characteristic OG taste and that sharp lemony cream taste, there isn’t much else peeking through but it was very enjoyable.
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 The buzz was nice and strong. It’s listed as a 80% sativa on their site, but it felt like a balanced hybrid more than a sativa leaning one.
Price: 225/OZ
Value: If the buds were bigger it would be worth the tag, as it is, I’d say 160-180ish
’A’ Scale Rating: AAAA-

Strain Name: Night Shade
Strain Fidelity: Never had it nor any of it’s parents in flower form (Kashmere and Nepali). Those are both very old school strains.
Size of buds: 7/10 Average sized buds
Bag Appeal: 7/10 Fairly caked, nice long hairs, looks a bit generic
Cure & Humidity: 5/10 Very very dry and had almost no jar smell
Smell Intensity: 3/10 Faint, dead, terpless even ground it almost had no smell
Harshness vs Smoothness: 4/10 Unpleasant, cough inducing
Taste Intensity: 3/10 Mainly tasted smoke/combustion, no signs of terps coming through
Taste Complexity: N/A can’t even begin to evaluate
Buzz Intensity: N/A didn’t smoke enough, could not get myself to smoke much more than a quarter of a small joint
Price: 260/OZ
Value: This would get negative attention as a 100$ OZ
’A’ Scale Rating: A at best. Terrible.
Incentive for Customers: They rarely have any significant sales, they do offer free shipping on 99$+ which is decent. They currently have a 7g free AA gift.
So in conclusion, I can finally put to rest this dispute and say with absolute certainty that they have owned up their end of the bargain, this order was fire. The Night Shade was very shit, but the rest was all pretty fire and was one of the best orders I’ve had in a very long while. Heck I’m not gonna lie, you guys all know how I like KC, I had a KC order the same day and I was more thrilled at the flowers I got from BMWO than KC that time around.
I would like to thank Micheal for finally making this right. I can now move on and I feel I got my money’s worth from this deal. It’s a shame (heck, it’s a even almost a tragedy) that it took to long to finally get a resolution, but I’m glad that it’s all over. Heck there’s even a few strains in there that are worth re-upping on eventually.
Here’s a link to that order’s review:

Strain Name: Black Cherry Punch
Strain Fidelity: Never had it, nor any of the parents
Size of buds: 6/10 Small firm buds, really not what I’m us...ed to from KC
Bag Appeal: 7/10 The buds look nice, are well trimmed, dense and caked, nice long brown hairs, some purple leaves here and there, pretty caked in trichomes
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 Much drier than I’m used to with KC, there was a boveda in there but it wasn’t doing the job.
Smell Intensity: 7.5/10 Being very dry, breaking it apart and then grinding it didn’t stink the place up, it has a light but pleasant smell.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 Extremely smooth
Taste Intensity: 8/10 The taste isn’t very strong, but then again you pretty much do not taste the smoke itself so it’s a very rich but not a very strong taste
Taste Complexity: 8/10 The taste is pretty narrow, but it’s a sweet creamy and cherry taste, it’s very nice.
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 Very good hybrid buzz, not much crash. Not a heavy knocker but gives a good functional buzz. Would work as a daytime strain.
Price: 214$/OZ regular price, they have a 15% monthly sale which drops it to 182$.
Value: It’s listed in their premium category but I feel it should be in the next one. Bit steep at 182$.

Strain Name: Living Soil Japan
Strain Fidelity: Never had that strain, it’s a first :)
Size of buds: 8/10 A couple of fat buds and a few smaller ones to complete the quarter.
Bag Appeal: 9/10 It has no wild colors to wow you, but it’s a damn good looking bud. It’s generously caked, it’s extremelely fresh and plush
Cure & Humidity: 10/10 This is how it should be, gold standard. Fresh, plush, burns well and white
Smell Intensity: 9/10 It has a pretty strong nose right out of the jar, but when you break it up it goes wild. My wife commented almost instantly how strong it smelled when I ground it.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 7.5/10 It’s terpy, but it’s a strong taste, so fat rips on the joint are a bit harsh. Smooth with normal draws.
Taste Intensity: 9/10 The terps come through fully and can be tasted until the end of the joint. There’s a sharpness that can be a bit aggressive with larger draws.
Taste Complexity: 8/10 It’s a mix of pine and earth with a tiny bit of skunk and spice. Reminds me of White Rhino a lot, very similar terp profile.
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Hits hard for a sativa, feels almost indica leaning despite the 90/10 description on the site. I definitely have a body buzz going. Not too racy, very nice.
Price: 240/OZ regular price
Value: The price is right on this one

Strain Name: Dutch Girl
Strain Fidelity: Never had that strain and not finding much on it’s mysterious lineage
Size of buds: 7.5/10 Average sized buds, quarter was composed of 3 buds
Bag Appeal: 7/10 Looks good, nice green color with some brown/orange hairs, good trim
Cure & Humidity: 3/10 It is seriously one of the driest quarters I ever got from KC, it’s bone dry to the core, breaking it up/grinding it did not release much more smell
Smell Intensity: 4/10 The dryness killed it. It does have a bit of a smell but it’s very faint and generic. It does have a bit more smell grinding it, it’s a nice smell, but it’s faint.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 7/10 Not the smoothest, but definitely not harsh. Could be better with more jar/boveda time. It had been 2 days with a fresh integra 8g pack when I tried it and that didn’t seem to help at all.
Taste Intensity: 6/10 The smoke is smooth and not very present, so the very little terps present do get through. It’s not a bad smoke, but it’s very dull.
Taste Complexity: 4/10 Not much taste, a bit floral with hints of pine, very generic
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 Wasn’t too bad. Listed as a 30% sativa, felt as such, light indica but competent
Price: 240$/OZ
Value: This belongs to the Canadian Select section at like half the price it’s listed for

Strain Name: Living Soil Watermelon
Strain Fidelity: 9/10 Definitely similar to their normal Watermelon, but it feels more flowery and less intense
Size of buds: 8.5/10 Nice sized buds, one in the lot was pretty big, probably close to 4g
Bag Appeal: 9/10 Classic Watermelon with a bit of foxtailing/spirals. Colors are typical green with orange hairs, the hairs are bigger and longer than the regular watermelon I’ve had from them
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 It’s pretty dry, not as bad as the Dutch Girl, but still dryer than I expect from KC. Their regular watermelon always came in pretty dry for me, but was much more terpy despite that.
Smell Intensity: 7/10 See cure/humidity, the smell was pretty light. I expected the Living Soil version to be insanely terpy, nope...
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Smooth smoke despite the dryness
Taste Intensity: 7.5/10 It’s much less intense than the previous regular watermelon I’ve had but the terps come through.
Taste Complexity: 7.5/10 Classic watermelon taste, but with some floral in it. Also the normal watermelon I’ve had had a spicy background that this doesn’t have.
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Definitely more potent than their regular (which to me is a ’weak’ strain in terms of buzz). Just like their regular, despite this being listed as indica, I always felt it was more of a sativa buzz and this was true to this, was a pretty racy buzz, almost anxiety inducing which is not something I often get from weed. Reminds me of Bruce Banner #3’s buzz, a strong sativa rush that eases down in an indica couch lock crash after a bit.
Price: 190$/OZ
Value: Slightly more expensive than their regular watermelon, less interesting terp-wise, but significantly more potent. I’d say the price is right and I’d only pick this over the regular if I wanted that buzz.
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA+
Incentive for Customers: 20% mix and match OZ, 15% monthly sale, welcome2019 code for 50$ off on first order, prices are low for the quality, but they don’t have much budget options
Incentive for Review: Was offered this mixed OZ for free in return for a review. Zero pressure on results as usual, I tell it how it is and they like it like that.
Notes : This was by far my most underwhelming pack from Kootenay Craft. All products but Japan were way dryer than what I’m used to from Kootenay. I had great expectations for the LS Watermelon and it turns out the original was IMHO better.
Still a huge thanks to Kootenay Craft and their staff for putting up with me :) Can’t always be homeruns :P

Sign Up: Didn’t sign up, just got hooked up on Discord for samples
Ordering & Pricing: Didn’t formally order, was offered samples, prices on the site have a lot of very big deals vs reg prices

Strain Name: Rockstar
Strain Fidelity: First time having Rockstar, so can’t really comment. It has a distinctive heavy kush/peppery terp profile. Leafly describes it has spicy with grape, I definitely cannot taste or smell anything fruity.
Size of buds: 7.5/10 Average size
Bag Appeal: 7/10 It has very nice colors (some solid purple hues), good trichome coverage. It’s very dense and very dry so a bit hard to break up. Rock hard buds.
Cure & Humidity: 4/10 Very dry, cracks when broken up. There is a very very faint humididy at the core of the bigger buds, but it’s definitely too dry overall. Would need some boveda/jar time to bring back.
Smell Intensity: 7.5/10 Has very little nose right out of the bag, but once you break it up/grind it it smells pretty good and strong.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 No complaints here, I’ve had smoother but this was very nice, big rips aren’t a problem, good flush.
Taste Intensity: 8/10 Taste comes through reasonnably well, nothing intense, but overpowers the smoke
Taste Complexity: 6/10 Pretty unidimensional, predominantly kushy without much else to offer
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 A good indica buzz, but not a hard knocker. Proper for the price/value.
Price: Regular price is 180/OZ, is currently on sale at 140/OZ
Value: The dryness takes away a lot of the appeal for me, I feel 140/OZ is steep for the state of these buds.
’A’ Scale Rating: AA+, would be AAA- with better fresness.

Strain Name: Girl Scout Cookies (distillate vape cart)
Strain Fidelity: 9/10 Taste like classic cookies
Size of buds: N/A
Bag Appeal: Very clear distillate, nice thick consistency
Cure & Humidity: N/A
Smell Intensity: N/A
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 Once of the smoothest distillate I’ve had
Taste Intensity: 8/10 I can taste the terps well, they are a bit faint and the raw distillate can be tasted through
Taste Complexity: 9/10 It’s got that glassic peppery background of GSC with a bit of tanginess I’m not used to in GSC
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 Typical distillate, flat, short lived buzz but less couchlock than others I’ve had.
Price: 45$ regular, 20$ on sale right now
Value: 45$ seems a bit steep, wouldn’t pay much more than 30-35$ for any distillate cart.

Strain Name: Rockstar Sugar Wax
Strain Fidelity: Reminds me of a fruiter version of pink kush.
Size of buds: N/A
Bag Appeal: 8/10 Kinda looks like ear wax, had some black spots on it (see pic), looked like it rubbed on something
Cure & Humidity: Texture is dry and sligthly tacky, but crumbles easily under pressure
Smell Intensity: 7.5/10 A nice kushy/fresh smell that’s not overpowering but very present
Harshness vs Smoothness: 10/10 This was smooth as silk in the pico/sai.
Taste Intensity: 8/10 The taste is good and strong
Taste Complexity: 7/10 It’s not overly complex, but it does what it does real well, a mix of classic kush and fruit, very clean taste
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 Extremely smooth, can take huge rips, tasted good going up in temps from a cold start dab too.
Taste Intensity: 9/10 Strong and terpy, very nice
Taste Complexity: 7.5/10 It’s not particularly complex (concentrares rarely are anyway) but it’s a good balance between kush and fruit, very clean
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Strong and potent no complaints
Price: On sale for 20$ a gram, regular price 55$ a gram.
Value: Definitely a good deal at 20, not so much at 55$ considering what else the competition has. Never seen wax over 30ish.
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA (would be AAAA- without the black spots/impurities)

Strain Name: Super Lemon Cookie Dough
Strain Fidelity: Never had cookie dough, did have SLH. I do smell some SLH terps in this but faintly.
Size of buds: 5/10 Small nugs but well formed
Bag Appeal: 4/10 Colors are dull/browning a bit, looks like old weed.
Cure & Humidity: 5/10 Was pretty dry but still had some spring to it, didn’t release much more smell when broken up
Smell Intensity: 4/10 Faint smell of generic plant matter for the most part, tiny bit of lemon coming through but ever so faint.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 7/10 Wasn’t a bad smoke, could take pretty big rips and they’d go down smooth. There’s a bit of sourness in there that gets intense on bigger draws.
Taste Intensity: 5/10 Not much taste going past the smoke, but the smoke wasn’t harsh.
Taste Complexity: 4/10 There’s a bit of sourness, a tiny bit of lemon (almost inperceptible).
Buzz Intensity: 2/10 This is definitely sativa leaning but the potency is some of the most terrible I’ve had ever. Didn’t smoke a large joint, but 30 min later buzz was completely gone.
Price: 99$ OZ on sale down from 155$ OZ
Value: To me this isn’t even worth it as a budget OZ, prime example of terribad weed.
’A’ Scale Rating: AA- at best.

Strain Name: Funky Skunk
Strain Fidelity: Genetics unclear based on what I’ve found on Google, seems like perhaps a pheno of UK Cheese, either way, fits the description of ’fruity version of skunk’ and it’s similar to other watered down skunks I’ve tried
Size of buds: 8/10 One big fat nug and some smaller bits made the sample
Bag Appeal: 6/10 Like the Super Lemon Cookie Dough, it looks like aged weed that’s began to brown
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 Dry but not too dry, still had some fluff and spring to it
Smell Intensity: 7/10 The dryness got the better of it, but it has a predominantly fruity aroma and reminds me of dancehall, white widow and similar smooth fruity strains
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Smooth smoke, could take pretty good draws without inducing cough
Taste Intensity: 7/10 The terps aren’t coming out strong, but you can definitely feel the fruit over the smoke so not bad
Taste Complexity: 7/10 There isn’t much more than fruit coming through and it’s pretty unidimensional. Zero skunk or funk coming through.
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 No complaints, a good hybrid buzz, not intense but competent
Price: On sale at 80/OZ regular price 145/OZ
Value: Definitely not a bad deal at 80$. I’m not a budget weed fan but at 80$, this is definitely more than fair. At 145 there are tons of better options out there. Would prob be a much nicer flower if it was fresher.
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA-

Strain Name: Death Bubba GX smalls
Strain Fidelity: 10/10 This is textbook Death Bubba
Size of buds: 4/10 These are tiny buds, borderline popcorn, no shake
Bag Appeal: 5/10 Hard to judge on such small buds, it’s nothing impressive to look at, buds are small but well formed and rather firm, excellent trim
Cure & Humidity: 6/10 You can tell it was well cured, but perhaps a bit overdried. Exterior of buds is dry, inside has some residual humidity but not much. Would prob be very decent after some boveda and jar time
Smell Intensity: 9/10 It doesn’t have much smell out of the bag but once ground it’s a classic intense kush/pepper/gas that’s characteristic of DB.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Death Bubba and most Kush strains for that matter are rarely smooth by nature, but this was nice.
Taste Intensity: 9/10 Absolutely obliterates the smoke taste, all you can taste is heavy kush and gas, very nice
Taste Complexity: 8/10 This strain does one thing and it does it well, nice kushy taste with gas in the background, bit of spice/pepper, very nice
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Heavy hitter as usual for the strain, strong indica
Price: Smalls are 135/OZ, Popcorn is 85$ OZ (same grow), they have regulars at 99$ but I think this one is a different grow
Value: At 135$ this is a fair deal if you can live with small buds. If the 85$ one is just as potent, that one is an absolute steal.
’A’ Scale Rating: AAAA-
Incentive for Customers: They have good rebates vs their reg prices right now
Incentive for Review: None other than free samples
Notes: There was a slight mold scare associated with this MOM, they sent one strain that had PM but they emailed/contacted all clients to whom it was sent to warn them they had found out, so they handled that very well. None of the samples I got had any signs of mold or other such issues.
Overall rating out of 10: 7/10
Sign Up: Didn’t sign up, just got hooked up on Discord for samples
Ordering & Pricing: Didn’t formally order, was offered samples, prices on the site have a lot of very big deals vs reg prices
Communication: N...o complaints but didn’t have much interactions, was nice and courteous
Packaging: No complaints, proper vac seal, each strain was individually packed in a small sealed bag, well labeled, etc.

(no pic sorry, forgot to take one)
’A’ Scale Rating: N/A

MOM Name King Tuts
Overall rating out of 10: 8/10
Sign Up: Didn’t really take notes, I can’t remember but it was definitely simple lol.
Ordering & Pricing: KT has a good quality/price ratio on pretty much all his stuff. No crazy deals, but honestly good pricing.
C...ommunication: Excellent, King Tuts is always on Discord, prompt to reply, always nice and friendly
Packaging: Came in a small box, vacuumed and placed inside a bubble mailer
Products / Photos:

https://i.imgur.com/Abn1V6e.jpg
Strain Name: Nuken
Strain Fidelity: I haven’t had tons of Nuken (only samples) but this was definitely the nicest I’ve had, buds are fresh, well cured, very nice and strong nose
Size of buds: 7/10. It was a 14g order, had a few bigger buds (2-3g) a lot of small ones and time tiny ones.
Bag Appeal: 7.5/10. Buds have a dense appearance but once you cut into them with your fingers it’s not as dense as it looks. Bright greens, it’s a pretty average looking strain.
Cure & Humidity: 9/10. It has good humidity all over but the smaller buds are dryer. Excellent cure, no complaints!
Smell: 9/10. Intense pine with a slight sweetness/fruitiness, a treat for pine lovers, smells so good
Harshness vs Smoothness: 7.5/10. It’s pretty smooth but very resinous so as you smoke the joint, it gains in intensity. Large draws eventually become a bit harsh, but if you don’t go crazy, it remains smooth and tasty to the end.
Taste Intensity: 8/10. Nice strong piney taste, almost the same as the nose, overcomes the smoke until the end.
Taste Complexity: 8/10. The taste is predominantly pine with some sweetness and some spiciness.
Buzz Intensity: 6.5/10. Not a very strong buzz, but it does the job. Would not have expected a 99er to be much stronger :)
Price: 99$/OZ pretty often, regular price is 159$ I think? The 14g was 85$ but with 32% off so it came to about 50$.
Value: This is by far the tastiest weed I’ve had in that price range, a lot of other MOMs would sell this for 200$ and not bat an eye. At 160$ it’s alright, but at 99$ it’s a hell of a deal.
’A’ Scale Rating: This would be an honest AAA. Would be AAA+ if it had more kick.

Left to right: Amber Rosin Hash / Moroccan Gold Hash / Dutch Reserve Bubble Hash
https://i.imgur.com/sOwllFv.jpg
Strain Name: Amber Rosin Hash
Strain Fidelity: Strain unknown, so hard to say, reminds me a lot of the Mayan Hash (KT tells me it’s from the same maker). Definitely as Dutch as the Mayan is Mayan :P
Bag Appeal: 9/10. This hash is slick and very shinny! It’s fairly hard and when you try to break it it bends rather than open up and if you pull strong, it will stretch instead of break off. At hotter temperatures it becomes easier to break.
Cure & Humidity: It’s very sticky and left a spot at the bottom of the small jar I have it in. Trying to make bits with this to put in a joint is pretty hard, it sticks a lot!
Smell: Smells good but not very strong
Harshness vs Smoothness: Very smooth but this is borderline concentrate, so a little bit goes a long way. Don’t try smoking a 0.1g in one puff, you’ll hurt yourself :)
Taste Intensity: The taste is flavorful but not overwhelming like some hashes can be, has a very thick and smooth smoke.
Taste Complexity: There are different aromas, it’s hard to describe.
Buzz Intensity: 10/10. This is killer stuff, don’t need much :) Has an hybrid buzz.
Price: Regular price is 40$/g
Value: The fact it has a significant amount of rosin mixed in makes this a pretty unique product. Taste-wise, it’s not any better than the Mayan line, which in turn offers a lot of different flavors. It reminded me of the GGC Mayan more than the others. 40$ a g is reasonable, but potency wise, the Mayan hold it’s own and is probably a better value.
’A’ Scale Rating: Hash is usually rated on a 5 star scale, I’d give this a 4/5.

Strain Name: Moroccan Gold
Strain Fidelity: I’ve smoke a lot of Moroccan in my days and this feels like a knockoff more than the real deal.
Bag Appeal: 9/10. Very nice golden brown color, looks like traditional Moroccan but it’s much softer.
Cure & Humidity: 8/10. Still has some humidity/stickiness, this looks like hash that wasn’t pressed much, mostly just trichomes mashed together
Smell: 8/10. Does not have the traditional spicy taste of Moroccan and really does have light hints of weed/kief. Smells more like local hash than actual import.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 7/10. A bit harsh but nothing crazy.
Taste Intensity: 8/10. Pretty strong kush/THC taste, bit bitter
Taste Complexity: 6/10. Pretty generic
Buzz Intensity: 7/10. Competent but not very potent.
Price: I think it sells for 14$/g
Value: I’m a huge fan of Moroccan usually, but this doesn’t really do anything special for me. Would be a great threat to cheap stuff like Mercedes, but it’s a bit steep for what it is.
’A’ Scale Rating: 2/5 stars on the hash scale

Strain Name: Dutch Reserve Bubble Hash
Strain Fidelity: I’ve been told this is yet another variation of Mayan and it definitely does taste like it as well.
Bag Appeal: 6/10. This is an odd duck. It was a light brown color, a bit shinny but with pale spots all over. I was initially concerned but microscope inspection revealed the light spots are actually holes which are lined with trichomes which have white heads. Looks like little crystal formations it’s pretty neat. Not much of a looker.
Cure & Humidity: This hash is easy to break and it’s a bit crumbly. Perfect to break in bits to roll a joint :)
Smell: 8/10. Nice intoxicating smell.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10. Nice smooth smoke, but due to it’s potency, large draws can be a bit harsh. The smoke is extremely rich and thick.
Taste Intensity: 7/10. It’s pretty tasty, but not crazy, smokes well in a pipe/bong but it does get a bit messy, it bubbles a lot. Clogged my pipe pretty hard the first time :)
Taste Complexity: 8/10. Very nice taste, a bit sweet, very smooth, very similar to Mayan
Buzz Intensity: 10/10. This is strong stuff. Nice heavy couchlock buzz that gets sleepy fast.
Price: 32$/g
Value: Well priced for the quality!
’A’ Scale Rating: 4/5 stars!
Incentive for Customers: There was a 32% sale for 420 and this order was bought during this sale.
Incentive for Review: None, I review all my orders.
Notes: The order game with some extra goodies, a pre-roll, a bag of CBD gummies, some papers. I had chosen a bong bowl as my free gift and it didn’t make it, but the Amber Rosin Hash was not part of my order. Check with KT and he tells me it was a 420 gift and he’s sorry for the bowl.

MOM Name The Green Ace
Overall rating out of 10: 9/10
Sign Up: Didn’t sign up just exchanged via Discord, told him my picks gave my shipping address and that was ...it.
Ordering & Pricing: The win was a choice between their Gas Demon bundle or their top shelf AAAA mix and match OZ. I went for the mix and match OZ for more variety and also not a fan of death bubba (which was half the demon bundle). Didn’t check individual price on the items I chose but TGA has good price/value weed as usual.
Communication: Quick courteous replies. Didn’t get tracking immediately, but free is free, hard to complain :) Prob just forgot, when I asked for it by email I got it almost instantly.
Packaging: Bubble mailer, vac sealed, then mylar style zips all well labeled, buds are intact, all is good.

Strain Name: Purple Space Cookies (by Gas Demon)
Strain Fidelity: I’ve had two types of PSC and all the literature I find on google points to different obscure lineages. This is definitely a more cookie leaning version of it (others I’ve had were more grapes/sweet). This is some of the best cookies leaning version of it I’ve had.
Size of buds: 8/10 Average for the most part, one bigger bud (pictured)
Bag Appeal: 8/10 Nice purple color, some cake but not excessive, good trim
Cure & Humidity: 7.5/10 Cure is good but it’s dryer than I like
Smell: 8/10 Smells real nice, but does not have the grape/sweet taste I associate with PSC usually. Definitely has some GSC nose to it, that distinct peppery kush smell.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 Very smooth smoke, can take pretty huge tokes without choking.
Taste Intensity: 8/10 I might not be the best to judge cookie strains as their terps do not seem to register much for me, but this was some of the best cookie-cross I’ve had in terms of intensity. Very nice smoke, extremely subtle hints of grape/sweetness coming through.
Taste Complexity: 9/10 Very much enjoyed the range of terps on this one. Some pepper, some savory, some kush, some grape, some sweetness. I’m less into peppery in general as many know, but this one was subtle on that terp and there’s a nice mix of everything in there.
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 Not the strongest PSC I’ve had but very decent, no complaints!
Price: 250$/OZ
Value: 250$ is a bit steep for it IMHO but I’ve had much worse 250$ stuff :)
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA+ in my book, they sell it as AAAA.

Strain Name: Sour Diesel (by Daisy Farms)
Strain Fidelity: First time having this strain ’pure’ (had a few crosses). Definitely is sour but could not taste or smell any diesel in there.
Size of buds: 9/10 One huge 4.8g bud with 2 tiny ones. I split this quarter with another Discord user and took the pics after shipping his half, kept only the smaller ones.
Bag Appeal: 7/10 Looks pretty generic as far as colors and everything goes. The 4.8g nug was extremely compact and had a very close trim. Looks nothing special, but as you can see on the microscope pic, it’s next level caked.
Cure & Humidity: 6/10 Very dry, driest of the 4 strains I got in this pack.
Smell: 7/10 It has a nice smell, but it’s very muted by the dryness
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 Very smooth smoke but if you take a very large toke, it does have some bite at the end.
Taste Intensity: 9/10 This is not a super intense strain in terms of taste, but it still totally overtakes the smoke. I was surprised that a strain with such mute nose would taste that bold. Real nice.
Taste Complexity: 8/10 The sourness is pretty much the only thing that comes through but it’s really nice. Reminds me sour cream, the smoke is very think and creamy and the bigger the toke, the more sour it gets.
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Really nice sativa buzz. Pretty strong but not overpowering, not much crash. Excellent daytime stuff.
Price: Sells for 225/OZ
Value: Again the dryness makes it a bit of expensive at 225, but it’s a very nice bud.
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA+ for me, would be AAAA if fresher.

Strain Name: Wedding Cake
Strain Fidelity: Haven’t had that strain before AFAIK but it definitely has some GSC lineage in it
Size of buds: 4/10 Popcorn all over
Bag Appeal: 6/10 The size of buds really kills it here, but the buds themselves are pretty dense and nice looking. Trim is a bit rough, but it has nice colors.
Cure & Humidity: 9/10 This was the less dry of all strains and still had some plush to it, very good cure. Bigger buds of this must have been epic.
Smell: 8/10 Doesn’t smell very strong (like all GSC crosses IMHO) but it does smell real nice. A mix of kush, pepper and sweetness.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 8/10 Smooth smoke, no complaints.
Taste Intensity: 7/10 Doesn’t have a very intense taste, but it definitely overpowers the smoke
Taste Complexity: 8/10 Nice mix of pepper, kush and sweetness.
Buzz Intensity: 7/10 Fine indica buzz, not super strong
Price: Sells for 220/OZ
Value: Bit steep at 220. I would value this one lower than all 3 other strains I got (which were in the same price range).
’A’ Scale Rating: Sold as AAA+, could rate it closer to AAA-

Strain Name: Jet Fuel
Strain Fidelity: Never had that strain before. I expected something gassy, but I was taken aback because the smell right out of the bag was dominantly fruity. Reminds me a bit of White Widow, minus the pine/skunk hints.
Size of buds: 6/10 Pretty small buds
Bag Appeal: 7/10 Again the small buds makes it hard to appreciate visually. The trim is good, the buds are round and dense. Not much cake to be seen with the naked eye.
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 On the dry side
Smell: 8/10 It was out of the 4 strains the nicest smelling one by far, but it was not intense (mainly due to dryness).
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9/10 Very smooth, no complaints!
Taste Intensity: 9/10 Very good taste, takes over the smoke totally, it’s all terps
Taste Complexity: 9/10 I totally did not expect this from the smell, but this strain had a sourness as it’s dominant taste. In fact, it was very close in taste to the Sour Diesel, a sharp sour taste. The fruitiness that dominated the bag smell does not really translate into the taste, but the sweetness of it definitely does, complementing the sourness really well. This was a pleasure to smoke.
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 Similar to the Sour Diesel again, sativa buzz, little crash, nothing super strong, but very competent.
Price: Sold at 225/OZ
Value: Again the dryness disqualifies it as a true quad and 225 might be a bit steep, but it’s still acceptable considering it’s a very nice smoke overall.
’A’ Scale Rating: Sold as AAA+, I agree with that rating.
Incentive for Customers: TGA has above average weed at low prices. None of it I’d call true quads from what I tried, but consistent legit good AAA+ stuff.
Incentive for Review: None, I review all I get.
Notes: As with my previous review of them, their flower is a bit on the dry side. I prefer more humid, but it’s still well within acceptable range.

Strain Name: Strawberry Jerry
Strain Fidelity: Never had that strain before, so no idea! Didn’t smell or taste like anything I’ve had before.
Size of buds: 8/10 Nice 1g+ bud, not crushed.
Bag Appeal: 8/10 Nice colors with hits of purple, good trim, nice hairs. Buds are packed but not dense.
Cure & Humidity: 4/10 The humidity is all but gone in this, it had almost no smell when I opened the bag and even when breaking the bud in half nothing more escaped. Smells inert like a random plant.
Smell: 1/10 This had almost no smell. Even ground up it almost had nothing.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 7/10 Fairly smooth but long draws made it pretty harsh. Some boveda time might help that.
Taste Intensity: 5/10 Not much terps coming through.
Taste Complexity: 3/10 Didn’t taste much and the little that made it through was fairly forgettable.
Buzz Intensity: 5/10 Felt like a weak sativa and didn’t buzz very long
Price: Listed at 220$/oz regular, currently 160$/oz
Value: Given the dryness and lack of personality of this weed, I wouldn’t recommend it.
’A’ Scale Rating: AA+ (a fresher product would undoubtedly have done better)

Strain Name: Pineapple Express
Strain Fidelity: 8/10 Less sweet than others I’ve had, but has that characteristic taste
Size of buds: 7/10 Two tiny buds
Bag Appeal: 7/10 A little leafy, tiny buds
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 Wasn’t as dry as the Jerry, but still very dry.
Smell: 8/10 Smells nice and sweet, pineapple has terps that survive dryness pretty well.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 7.5/10 This was very nice and smooth but when you took bigger rips, it would grasp the back of your nose (sneezy weed as I like to call it). Almost no sweetness to compensate either.
Taste Intensity: 9/10 You can clearly taste the terps over the smoke, very tasty
Taste Complexity: 8/10 As mentioned, it’s less sweet than other Pineapple Express variations I’ve had but still has that characteristic fruity/spicy/piney mix that’s characteristic to the strain.
Buzz Intensity: 9/10 Nice strong hybrid buzz, I like it
Price: Listed at 180$/oz on sale at 160$
Value: It’s properly priced for it’s quality, but I’ve seen better Pineapple Express for cheaper.
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA, would prob be a AAA+ if fresher

Strain Name: Snow White
Strain Fidelity: Never had this strain but I’ve always been a big fan of White Widow and this is either a cross or phenotype of it from what I could gather on Leafly. Was excited to try it!
Size of buds: 8/10 Nice sized nug
Bag Appeal: 9/10 The colors on this are real nice and it’s pretty caked as well so you get a nice mix of green and purple with a white frosting on it.
Cure & Humidity: 7/10 There is still some humidity in that bud but it’s almost dry, the little left is enough to expunge a gassy funk that reminds me of the 90’s.
Smell: 8/10 It’s not super strong, but it’s a nice mix of pine, skunk, musk. Right out of the bag it did not have much smell but once broken up/grounded it’s got some kick left.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 7/10 Again the dryness probably comes into play, this wasn’t exactly smooth or pleasant to smoke. The funk that I could smell in the fresh herb did not translate well to the taste.
Taste Intensity: 8/10 This was fairly intense, but not necessarily pleasant
Taste Complexity: 5/10 The taste was strong and bold, spicy, not very pleasant, harsh.
Buzz Intensity: 8/10 Similar to the White Widows I’ve had, respectable but manageable hybrid buzz, perfect balance between body and mind.
Price: Normal price is 220/oz, on sale at 160/oz
Value: I think 160 is much closer than 220 to the real value of this bud.
’A’ Scale Rating: AAA-
Incentive for Customers: Sale currently
Incentive for Review: Samples were offered free for the review.
Notes: The dryness of the buds was the biggest issue in this order. The three strains I’ve got looked real nice, were nice genetics and appeared to be very well grown, but I feel there’s a preservation issue.

Packaging: Bubbler, food grade vacuum bag, bubble wrap and finally mylar bag (not hot sealed). Very well packaged, zero complaints there!

High Voltage Extracts Black Fire Live Resin (Black Domina x WiFi OG
https://i.imgur.com/HbgHgeS.jpg
The product looks absolutely gorgeous, it has a uniform opaque/gold slick appearance. I expect this, by the looks, to be very goopy but I was surprised to see it’s a bit sugary, it does stretch a bit but it’s pretty easy to grab a piece out. The smell out of the jar isn’t very strong compared to other live resin I’ve had, but this might be on account of the strain. Unfortunately the taste brought back memories of a few extract products I’ve had and did not appreciate. I’m getting the impression it’s a terp that’s rubbing me wrong. The taste is somewhere between perfumy and gassy/chemical, reminds me of mothballs. It’s not bad, but I’m really not a fan of the taste. The buzz was very good. Despite the taste though, it’s a pleasant smoke, smooth, no complaints. Giving it a 8.5/10 (not impacted by my distaste of those terps!)
Incentive for Customers: I like it simple, awesome prices on high quality products.
Incentive for Review: Product provided free of charge for review.
