MEAT Breath ?

Another crazy drop from TCF, so of course I had to take a peek (Too much to choose from lol) I’m still fucking with the Stankasaurus super hard.. That’s why when I saw this strain it caught my eye. Just having “meat” in the name made me wanna try it out. Got this and... some Deep Breath for $280 including shipping.

Buds are massive and dense, really beautifully shaped and trimmed. Comes in about 15 nugs weighing in just over 29 grams. Nothing tiny and no shake, which I’ll admit I’ve become used to expecting from TCF (Cactus B. has been my only pack out of maybe 15 with popcorn and pebbles so far, minus smalls drops) nice semi dark green tint, good trim job. Not super sticky.

The smell was disappointing since I was expecting it to stank my house up lol. You do get a faint smell of meat though when you grind it up, but I was expecting more honestly. Hope this picks up after some clapping cheeks with bovedas!

I’m the anti-Anthony Bourdain when it comes to describing weed tastes (I suck at it lol) So I usually just see if the website description is accurate and this one seems to be. Definitely get a beef jerky type taste on exhale. Didn’t get much citrus though. Very smooth on the throat and basically pure white ash.

Listed as a 50/50 hybrid but I feel like it leans indica in its effects. Even though you feel the nice heavy feeling in your arms and legs after a few puffs, it’s not too overpowering where you get lazy. This won’t kamikaze you to your couch or have you spaced out. I feel like the high kind of flows with your mood, going for a little adventure around the city or just chilling and watching a movie both seem like a great idea after. This is a great buzz that is suitable for afternoons I feel like, not a knock out strain but still heavy on the potency. Mind and body both at ease with this relaxing smoke. Very enjoyable and stress relieving I feel like. Also got the munchies which is rare for me so this is perfect for my personal needs.

Right now I’ll go 7/10 but I feel like my rating may go up after some jarring as they usually do.

Platinum Blue City Diesel

Crack the pack, tame but smooth smell of gassy fruit and a hint of cheese. I like the taste a lot on this one, reminds me of a fruity liqueur like Hypnotic or something. The taste lingers around on your tongue for a decent while after smoking.

I’ll... admit when I saw these buds I was a little concerned ? they are pretty ugly and raggedy (similar to picture on website though) looks like mother nature’s toilet after a bad bender with different colours just splashed everywhere. But when you grab it your fingers stick up right away surprisingly, nugs looked dry but were super fresh to my surprise. Fruity blueberry smell rises up stronger as soon as you crack a nug apart.

Listed as a hybrid I think, which seems correct. This won’t flop you out on the couch but you still get your nice body buzz flowing fairly quickly. Nice head high creeps in a little bit after. Good strain for relaxing during the afternoon if you still got some shit to do that night. The high flows with your mood it seems like with this one. Good for chilling out or getting some stuff done. Nothing overpowering but it’s calming for sure.

This was a fair price and grade I feel. This is one of the better tasting strains I’ve had in a while, and my taste is admittedly not good lol. I prefer fruity tastes over cakey ones so this impressed me a lot.

7/10, I like the taste of this one, but prefer the high of the Sour Diesel from this order ✌️

Buds look similar to real east coast sour d that I’ve had before which is promising, almost want to try except the muted smell is disheartening

Pineapple Express ?

Deleted an older post on this since I felt I didn’t give it a fair chance at first. I stored this without a boveda by accident but now I’ve had it chilling for a bit and these buds seemed to have bounced back great.

Buds were dry when I first received t...his, but after a week of jarring they seem to have been resurrected.

I wasn’t impressed at first tbh, but the beautiful tropical smell and fruity taste are awesome on this batch. The buds were all decent medium sized, no shake.

Burns nice with a salt and pepper ash, the high is pleasant also. Definitely feels like a mellow hybrid. Decent head and body high (gave me a numb tongue which I haven’t had in years lol) This strain is definitely nice for people who value smell and taste first. I feel it is good at everything you want in a smoke but not great at anything in particular.

Overall I’ll move this to a 7.5 from the 6 I had previously. CBP has the best customer service IMO, and I feel they grade their AA - AAAA very accurately. Can’t wait for my next order to arrive!

Throphy Wife

Got this about a month and a bit ago and had it sitting with bovedas since! Knew this baby would perk up perfectly after that!

Seen this reviewed very well in the past, bought this off of a Spocky mane review actually! I’ll keep it short since you all know this... stuff I’d a beauty already!

A tad dry when I first received this but now I would say they are perfect. The nugs are gorgeous, just massive boulders (About 10 buds, no shake, weighing in just over 28g) all nice and round, covered in crystals. Grinder looked like a blizzard hit it after grinding this up.

Smell is a nice earthy garden smell. Not overly strong. I like the taste but it is hard to describe. Super smooth smoke, this wife isn’t down your throat constantly like some are lol. PURE white ash, you’d have to search for a speck of grey! Whoever grew and cured this did a beautiful job.

High CBD in this one. The high isn’t gonna smack your ass off and slit your eyes shut like some heavy stuff but you will still love it. You just feel calm and worry free. Body is loose and ache-less (feel like your body is weightless) You’ll be smiling and have no care for the next few hours. Recommend if you find some bud gives you anxiety, this has the opposite effect! I like to roll a J of this and walk my dog around early morning before the city wakes up.

Overall I can’t find shit wrong with this gorgeous strain. I had this at borderline 9 after a smoke about a month ago, now I have to go 9.5/10

Wedding Mintz

Knew this one would be better with some jarring after my first smoke. So I’ve had it sitting for around 3 weeks now and it definitely hits better now! I recommend doing this all the time lol where’s my Boveda sponsorship? Haha.

Not the strongest smell, defini...tely gassy and has a slight fruit smell to it. Oz came in about 5 massive dense ass nugs. Super sticky and rolls awesome. Pure white ash. Oily like I had a hash snake in my joint, super oily but still burns perfect and slow. Still not the tastiest to be honest, which I was looking forward to with the price tag. Sort of a cakey taste, not as gassy tasting as I’ve seen other posters say.

The high is nice, obviously potent stuff. Maybe just not my favourite type but this would be great for many! Hybrid that I would says leans indica. Nice wavy feeling in the legs and feet, not too out of it in the head. Pretty good for just chilling. Hits behind the eyes quick and makes you pretty sedated, don’t feel like doing too much or chatting. Not a knock out indica but a nice mellow balanced stony feeling.

The high is good at everything but not great at any one thing if that makes sense?

Overall I’ll go 7.5/10 this is for sure great stuff. I like to spend a little extra every few months, but overall I wouldn’t say Im blown away by this (XXX and Mystery Man both slap hard and are excellent though)Maybe I’ve just been in sativa mood lately and I do judge pricier stuff harder probably. Still happy with this either way!

Mother’s Milk

This sounded interesting and I had never heard of this strain before. (Nepali OG x Appalachia) Never had either parent strain either, so wasn’t sure what to expect.

This stuff has a delicious smell to it. Fruity/Creamy/Pastry is the way I would describe it. ...The taste is similar with a nice berry cake taste to it. (Basically CerealMilks stepbrother in taste/smell) Buds were medium to small with no shake, nice trim job on this one. Breaks up great and smokes nice and smooth. Mostly white ash.

Listed as hybrid but I feel this is more a sativa. The high is nice and long lingering, more on the heady side. Gets your mind racing and you will still clear headed enough to get stuff done. Might even have some giggles if you smoke enough ;) Seems like a good smoke to have when you have some people over. The high also creeps up stronger as time passes. Really enjoyable actually!

Edit: Changed rating from 7.5 to 8.5? smoked some more of this after a few hours. Admittedly smoked a larger amount lol but I dunno it hit different. All the enjoyable elements but intensified, also got a decent body high going on which wasn’t too obvious on previous smoke. ?

Rest In Peace

Crack the pack open and get a unique smell that is hard to describe but definitely pleasant. I got hints of coffee but also unburnt incense. Maybe a dairy floral mix type smell, it’s nice.

Not the biggest nugs but no super small buds or any shake. Super dense a...nd a tad sticky. Nice greens to it and a good cover of crystals. Burns beautifully slow and white. Smooth smoke, no coughing. Once again I kinda suck at taste thanks to cigarettes lol, so I won’t pretend to know what I’m talking about haha.

Blam! The high on this is fast and heavy. Cement in my boots and goggles right now.

The name is fitting for this strain. Don’t plan on doing anything after a joint of this. Sunken into my couch as soon as I flopped down, eye lids got bricks pierced to them all of a sudden lol. Great body high, exactly what you want if you have any aches or trouble sleeping. Super spacy in the head also, I’ve pulled out my phone like 5 times the past half hour and instantly forget why lmao. This is for sure a before bed bud. Bed bud bed bug.

Overall I’ll go 8.5 This is really great stuff. Glad I decided to try this on a whim, I have to be in the mood for a heavy indica b when I am I can see this being a go to.

6.5 pineapples out of 10 for this.

Buds were kind of dry and falling apart but they were all good big sizes. Darker ash. But the delicious tropical,fruity taste and smell make up for it. Not bad!

Medium high, nothing overpowering. More on the lighter sativa sid...e. But the NYC sour d is a better bang for your buck if you’re a sativa lover! ✌️

?New York Sour Diesel

Wasn’t too impressed when I first got this pack, but decided to give her another go today.

I’m always overly critical with any sour d since it is my all time favourite strain haha. I scooped this up a while ago and tried it out a few times then threw ...it in storage for a bit. Had just under 2 oz in a mason. Cracking the jar stunk up the room instantly, beautiful old school strong citrus gassy smell. I love exhaling the smoke through my nose with this one, heavy diesely taste to it.

All good size buds, smallest ones maybe being 1 g. Somewhat sticky and super easy to roll up. Salt and pepper ash.

Great high, better than I remember from my first few times smoking this. Gives you what you’re looking for in a sour deez. Feel super focused on whatever you’re doing after. Gives you a clear head while still feeling nice and stoned. Good energizing smoke, perfect to bring with you in social settings.

Rated AAA+ on the site which I think is fair! I’ll go borderline 8/10 ,actually really like this stuff after making it roomies with some bovedas for a while. The guys at CBP seem cool. Good stuff ✌️

Also makes you talkative as described I guess because my woman just told me to shut the fuck up ?‍♂️ ?
