Purchased this zip from Jercann on sale for $110. I feel a lot has already been said about this strain and grow from Hierba. Even with this admittedly older batch I believe most of those sentiments still hold up. This is a delicious strain. Fruity at first and earthy with hints of dark chocolate and... spice on the exhale. Bag appeal visually was terrific, texture however has suffered from the extended shelf life. Not much moisture or stickiness to be found with this batch at this point in its life cycle. Burn on my joints was smooth, ash was greyish white. High was moderate leaning mild in my opinion. Glad to say I’ve finally tried this grow from Hierba. I would recommend grabbing this zip if it’s still available on the site. Especially if you’re a bargain hunter or flavour chaser. Do not buy this strain if you’re looking for a KO gassy indica bag.

Ordered this strain from OG a few weeks ago alongside a half zip of Liquid Butter. This flower from a bag appeal perspective imo looked better than the liquid gas, so I held onto it figuring I’d save the best for last. My experience here goes to prove the old saying don’t judge a book by it’s ...cover. For the most part this half zip of Kush Mints has not been a very positive experience. The positives here are pretty much bag appeal and bag appeal alone. My half zip was comprised of 4 large nugs, beautiful colours and great trim. Coated in trichomes inside and out. Smell was citrusy and somewhat minty, not very dank but sitting in a glass jar has brought out some more complex aromas. Freshness and moisture content another positive, buds had a good snap to them when breaking it up and had a sticky texture once cracked open. Negatives here are taste and burn quality. I found the taste to be faint with the slightest citrus notes. Wasn’t getting much mint or creamy flavours in my joints. Burn was not good, I found joints canoed often, went out constantly, and had a wide range of ash quality. My first joint rolled from the smallest bud and out of the Mylar was awful. Almost pure black and barely staid lit. Joints after some time in a jar improved in ash quality but the burn issue persisted. Taste has remained near non existent this would not be what I’d describe as “terpy” weed. The high was ok, I definitely felt stoned. Mostly indica effects like haziness and mind/body relaxation. Overall would have to say this flower was a disappointment, price is always fair with OG but quality control needs to be addressed.

Never heard of this strain before, thought it looked good on this site. Had to give it a try. It’s definitely quality smoke. For the most part it checks all the boxes. My only gripe being that it didn’t have a very punchy flavour. I was able to discern some buttery notes behind the two more fron...t facing flavours in pine, and vanilla. Nose was mostly sweet pine. High was all indica in effect. Sedative and soothing on the body and mind. This is a great strain for gaming, movie nights, or relaxing with a book. Just be sure to have ample snacks on deck. Bag appeal was solid. Buds were denser than I had expected, freshness and moisture content were okay. The flower had light green colouring, long wispy pistils and ample trichome coverage throughout. Some fan leaves but nothing too excessive. My half zip consisted of mostly larger buds with about 3g in smaller stuff. Overall this was a solid pickup, as usual price point is hard to beat, shipping was prompt (I’ve heard and read this hasn’t been the case for a decent amount of you). I only wish it had a bit more terps. Price I paid for the half ounce was $70.

Another review from a recent OnlyGas drop. This Black Gas strain was $140 for a zip, and was rated as AAAA+ flower. Overall I was left slightly underwhelmed by the offering here. With a rating above quad status you truly expect exceptional smoke. This for the most part was only slightly above averag...e in the categories that matter to me. Bag appeal upon arrival was solid. Flower had mostly dark green and purple hues. It was very sticky for the first week, but dried out significantly over time in the glass jar I keep my bud. Nose was earthy, gassy, and slightly floral. Taste was a mirror of the smell. Joints burnt wonderfully, ash was very white, and resin rings formed consistently. High was very heavy, and what you’d expect from a gassy Indica strain. If you’re looking for something euphoric and uplifting find something else. Smoking this bud was equivalent to getting shot by a low dose tranquilizer gun. Nothing really negative about this flower, but also nothing truly exceptional. I’ve had better strains from OG that were cheaper and of better quality.

This ounce of Monkey Mints from OnlyGas was included for free with my order as part of a limited promotion deal. I’m imagining quite a few reviews on this strain have already been posted, so I’ll keep it brief. Surprised at the quality here, buds had above average bag appeal. The flower was fres...h and decently sticky upon arrival. Sizing was also a positive, most the nugs in my bag weighed in at over 1g. Nose on the bag was very gassy and chemically with some spiciness on the backend. Taste was similar to the nose, I personally didn’t get much minty flavour from my joints. Burn was incredibly good, ash was unbelievably white. Overall can’t complain about something I got for free, and to be honest I wouldn’t have much to complain about anyway. This Monkey Mints is my preferred smoke right now, more so than the Black Gas which I also have, and OG rated as AAAA+. Would I go out of my way to buy this strain again? Probably not. However, I was expecting much worse and came away pleasantly surprised at the quality smoke I received.

Another batch of flower from OnlyGas’s most recent drop. This is the more expensive cut of the Gary Payton that was on the site. I believe the cheaper GP is cultivated by Kingsmen Crew, and I was extremely close to purchasing that option. However, OG suggested this version was superior. After rece...iving my half zip it’s hard not to agree with his sentiments. My half arrived as 3 monster nugs. The buds were dense, sticky, and extremely eye catching. Nose on this flower is extremely inviting. I picked up peaches, pepper, and gas. Taste like the nose is top notch. Smoke was sweet, semi citrusy with a spicy gas exhale. Ash was nearly cigarette white. Another extremely positive experience post relaunch buying from OG. Not much I can report as negative here. I would love to see a review of the other cut, see how they compare.

Part of the most recent drop from OnlyGas this batch of Sophie’s Breath is one of two versions of this strain listed on the site. My half zip was the “Blue” cut. Overall very impressed with this flower, especially considering the price point. I found it to be extremely terpy. Nose was sweet be...rry with earthiness in the background. Taste like the nose was extremely sweet and complex. High was definitely sativa, and that’s a change of pace for me. It was nice having flower feel like a pick-me up and a motivator for daily tasks. It has very little burnout, and provides a pleasant mostly cerebral energy boost. Bag appeal was another positive. The flower had a fairway green and dark purple colour, contrasted by wispy burnt orange hairs and trichomes everywhere. My buds all felt very fresh, that perfect level of moisture where things are sticky, but stems still have that snap when broken. No real complaints to offer here. Bud was fantastic, price was fair, shipping was fast. My only suggestion would be indica and gas lovers probably should avoid this one, it’s not really gonna do it for you.

Gonna try and keep it brief here, as I’ve seen plenty of discussion on this strain and grow from Headwater Cannabis. This LSO batch of Khalifa Mints is far better than the salt batch, in basically every sense other than bag appeal, but that’s subjective. I’m just very fond of purple flower. Th...is grow has more lime green and dark green hues. Still absolutely caked in trichomes. Nose and flavour is much more reminiscent of the KM I know and love. Nose is gassy lemon cleaner, and taste is a mirror of that with a minty finish. Burn was solid, none of the issues I had with the salt batch appeared during my sessions with the LSO grow. Ash was greyish white. This 7g jar was purchased from Weedposters.

First order with OG since his relaunch. This zip of Bubba was $62 on sale, I figured for that price it was worth the risk. This flower surpassed pretty much all my expectations, and easily rates as the best sub $100 ounce I’ve ever smoked. My bag had well trimmed buds, but in all honesty was nothi...ng special in the looks department. Nose was earthy gas, and became far more pronounced after a few days in a jar. Taste like the aroma has become more apparent the longer it sat. I get mostly earthy, coffee, gas from joints. Burn is great, moderately greasy, and ash is a greyish white. I have a few “quad” strains from various craft growers in my stash right now, but my go to heavy hitter has been this Bubba from OG. Would gladly buy this again if it restocks.

I think this is my 4th or 5th purchase of a Headwater Khalifa Mints run. This particularly zip was purchased from two different places, for two entirely different prices. The first 14g was from Jercann, and was $110. The other 14g was from Weedposters and was $75. I came to the realization that it w...ould have been smart to keep the jars separate as the flower is clearly different batch dates. I ordered the half zip from Jer on June 6th, and the WP order was made on July 15th. WP says on their website the batch I received is from July 1st. Not entirely sure of the batch date on Jer’s half ounce. Regardless of the fuck up on my part, both bags had very similar nose and bud structure. I do suspect one of the batches smokes slightly better. My experience thus far has been very underwhelming. Muted aroma and taste. Poor burn quality with darker grey ash. I’m used to an overwhelming minty sour lemon from this strain. This batch kinda has that but nowhere near as loud as prior runs. TLCs grow of this stands out to me as the terpiest batch I’ve smoked. Jercann’s half zip had the larger nugs, WPs had slightly larger than popcorn sized buds. Shipping was faster through WP, however my order through Jercann was placed rather informally via discord DMs with Jer himself. Speaking from a biased POV even though WP had the cheaper price and quicker shipping, Jer has the customer service, and is still my go to for craft flower. I’m realizing this has turned into a WP vs Jercann review instead of talking about the flower. I do apologize, but in all honestly this run of Khalifa is rather meh. Nothing terrible, but not up to the same high standards this strain and grower can achieve.
