Been wanting to try Sticky Papaya by OGKSuge, so I picked up a half ounce of smalls from Jercann for $65. The bag was overweight at 21.5g, I believe this is due to the nature of the bud at hand. My bag was most likely the bottom of the bottom, lots of very small nugs with fan leaves and stem. I do a...ppreciate the extra as compensation for that, not something I was expecting, and probably something most MoMs wouldn’t do. Visually the bud is decent for bag appeal, I can tell the full size run must’ve looked magnificent, because these buds have all the characteristics of a stunner. It’s just the size and trim leave a lot to be desired with this batch of smalls. Aroma is magnificent. I rarely get bud that actually smells like the name it carries. This Sticky Papaya smells of tropical fruit and melon. Easily one of the nicest aromas from bud I’ve smoked in some time. Taste like the nose is terrific. Tropical fruit with spice and gas on the exhale. Burn was solid as well. Joints had no issues with going out, produced a great oil ring, and the ash was mostly a clean white. I found the high to be very strong cerebrally, relaxing physically, and it had very little burnout effect. Overall I’m left satisfied with my purchase, albeit slightly jealous of the folks who tried the full size run of this terrific grow by OGKSuge.

Another jar from KIND to review. This Gelato 33 is from the Platinum line, and was purchased from Cannapanda. Immediately upon opening this jar you’re hit with a sharp lemon cleaner aroma, some gassy notes also are present. I found the smell to be very inviting, the taste was a mirror of the aroma... with the gassy flavours coming out a bit more. But for the most part this jar is all lemon cleaner in both taste and nose. Texture and consistency was very saucy. I found this to be the most difficult KIND jar to work with out of the ones I’ve tried. The runny nature isn’t that surprising as it was extremely high in total terpenes at 13%, the more terps generally means a more saucy product in my experience. With all that being said the flavours here are sublime, for concentrates I love lemon flavours and this jar had incredibly heavy limonene notes. It burnt incredibly clean as I’ve come to expect from KINDs HTFSE, zero residue in my DTV4 cup or glass banger. High was not as strong as other KIND jars I’ve had, but it was still above average. I’d easily still feel effects from a dab hours after my session. Not much to complain about here, my only gripe is the consistency makes it hard to work with, how do y’all dab saucier concentrates? I’d love for some advice, I’m not opposed to the idea of more sauce, I just need a more efficient way of smoking perhaps? I tend to think I’m dabbing far too much with the runnier concentrates. Price was on the higher end at $60, KIND jars don’t usually go for much cheaper than $50. I guess with these products you’re paying for quality and consistency. In my opinion as a treat, this is totally a worthwhile experience.

MAC is one of my personal favourite strains, and this particular crop grown by Melanie for Carly’s Garden is about as good if not better than any other MAC I’ve tried. The buds were extremely dense and had a thick blanket of trichomes covering each one. The half ounce I purchased had an excellen...t trim, and also had decent size to all the buds. Smell was all gas, and a touch of sour cream. Taste was decent, but not very pronounced. Mostly gassy, creamy lemon. I’ve had more punchy MACs in the flavour department, however the high was very nice. I would describe it as euphoric and uplifting. Great hybrid for daily use, not something I’d use to aid in sleep, or body sedation. Joints burnt very well, no issues with it going out. Ash was mostly whitish grey. The price I paid for 14g was $77, in my opinion great value for the quality. This was my second strain from my order with Carly’s Garden, the Bob’s Carly ranks slightly higher in my books. But this is a solid cut of MAC for the price, and certainly worth trying out!

Bob’s Carly is a unique strain with a lineage of Lambsbread, crossed with Fruity Pebbles and bred by Carly herself. This was my first order with Carly’s Garden. Overall I’m left extremely satisfied by the entire experience. My half ounce was made up of mostly large buds and a few popcorn sized.... Heavy coating of trichomes cover dark purple flower, contrasted by burnt orange pistils. Buds had a good moisture content and were on the fluffier side in terms of density. I’d say solid bag appeal, with the only drawback being some excessive leaf and stem still attached to the larger buds. Nose is a subtle but pleasant fruity sour gas. Taste was similar to the nose in both its subtlety and its profile. I’d add a bit of earthy flavours with the taste that aren’t apparent from the aroma. Potency ranks as moderate to high. This would be one of those strains I’d suggest for nighttime use, as it tends to have a couch lock effect. Burn was smooth and the ash was mostly grey in colour. The price I paid for 14g was $88. It was packaged in a cardboard box, double bagged and odour free. The flower itself was in a branded Mylar, and shipped to my door within 5 days. You can tell from Carlys item descriptions on the site that she is honest, transparent, and receptive to feedback. It’s a refreshing attitude in the MoM landscape. I will absolutely order from her again!

Black Milk by Rain City Farms another new cultivator and strain to me. This particular bag was a half ounce of “smalls” purchased from Cannapanda. I find it hard to rate smalls in terms of bag appeal and bud structure. However, I will say it had a heavy coating of trichomes on the smaller than p...opcorn kernel buds. It should be noted at least 1g of this bag was what I’d describe as shake/loose trim. Not really impressed by that, but again it was labeled as smalls, and obviously had a reduced price ($90) to reflect that. The flower felt fresh, solid moisture content, and very fluffy. Colours present on the buds were shades of bright green, with splashes of purple. I’ve seen photos of the regular sized nugs from this run and they obviously look phenomenal, these smalls aren’t quite showstoppers like that. But the larger nugs in my bag did have solid looks. Nose on this flower was crazy, and unique to me. Super sour milky creaminess with a touch of fruitiness. I found myself repeatedly popping the lid on my mason jar just to grab a whiff. I’ve never had flower with this profile, I found it to be utterly intoxicating. The flavour is nearly identical to the nose. But I would say it’s mostly sour cream and a fruity exhale. Burn was mediocre. No problems with my joints going out, and it produced a decent oil ring. However, the ash was on the darker side. The high was euphoric, and uplifting with a energy boost sensation throughout my body and mind. This bud would pair well with stoners who want to be productive, yet still feel a nice little buzz in the background. Overall I’m left impressed by the flower for the most part. It has a really unique nose and taste, that’s worth trying out. Would I recommend the smalls from Cannapanda...probably not. Especially if the bag is like what I got and full of shake. Smalls are almost always a risk, you never really know what MoMs consider falls into that category. So I can’t be overally critical. I knew the risks. Also I can’t in my opinion count that as a strike against the cultivator and crop. Cannapanda does say on their site “If you care about bud size steer clear, but if you are looking for a good smoking experience this is the one.” I actually tend to agree with their sentiments here. This flower is worth smoking, and if you’d like it at a cheaper price perhaps the smalls is the right choice for you. Just be aware the smalls from Cannapanda are very small and also may include lots of bottom bag shake. I’d like to hear what kind of experience the folks who purchased the normal run had? This flower was good enough, I’d consider buying again in full size just to compare.

Smintz is a indica dominant strain and this particular batch was produced by Paid by Pounds. This is my first time trying flower sourced by Paid by Pounds, and it was definitely a positive experience. The buds are extremely dense, and have moderate to above average trichome coverage. The nose is an ...incredible blend of gas, dark coffee, and berry. All my buds had a solid moisture content. No complaints here with dryness upon arrival, packaging with a Integra booster probably helped with that. Joints smoked and tasted pleasant. Nothing exceptional, but certainly very solid. Ash was a chalky whitish black, also Js didn’t really produce much of a resin ring. The high was strong, I found it very relaxing and sedative. This at least for me was a couch-lock type of smoke. Honestly might be the hardest hitting strain I’ve smoked this year, if that’s worth anything to you. My order for this flower was made through Cannapanda. This quarter was $50. It came packaged in a Mylar bag with a freshness pack inside. Shipping was prompt, took just over a week to arrive after the order was placed. For the price I’m left pleased with the quality, I’d like to try some of the other strains Paid by Pounds has out on market currently. See how this flower stacks up.

How’d you get it for $80 off?

My second jar from the platinum run of KIND FSE. This particular jar of Grand Daddy Purple FSE had the most pungent lemongrass, sweet citrus smells as soon as the cap was popped. Super inviting nose, the vapour replicated the smells exhibited. Floral, lemon, sour, and gassy notes are very pronounced... in the taste. It might be the most terpy full flavoured extract I’ve tried from KIND. Texture was very similar to the stuff I’ve worked with in the past, small crystals encased in a light amber sauce. Leaves no residue on my DTV4s glass bucket, which I think speaks to the quality of the extraction process. To sum up: intoxicating lemon gas smell, smooth clean burn, great flavour that closely resembles the smells. The high as I’ve come to expect now with KIND hits hard and pretty fast. Very cerebral with an sedating body high that creeps up on you. Price I paid was $50 for the 1g, and at this price it far outclasses the much more expensive equivalent items on the LP side. KIND is a winner again in my books another very solid product!!

Cart reviews are tricky for me. I don’t consider myself an expert, and they never really seem to hit me the way flower does. I’ve always considered cartridges a quick, and discreet accompaniment to flower. This product from Enigma is about as good as it gets for a cartridge in terms of high and ...taste. It has a very subtle flavour with hints of berries and a sweet gassy finish. Very close to what I get from flower, not the distillate infused artificial nonsense that is prevalent on the market. I probably am not giving this cartridge the best chance either, as I use a very simple Yocan battery thing I picked up from a local LP. I know most sites recommend using the Uni Pro or something equivalent for best results. So take what I’m saying with a grain of salt. However, even with my crude setup, this cart hits hard, produces nice clouds, and tastes very similar to flower. This is my first experience with cartridges from Enigma, my prior experiences have been with HVE and various LP producers. This .5g cart for the price ($45) imo is a hard sell over the HVE products I’ve had which sell for the $40-$50 range but on a 1g cart. The high/taste/quality are very similar with HVE rating only slightly lower in those categories but far outmatching in value. I will note that a few of my HVE products eventually gum up and leak, causing chaos breaking batteries. This product so far has been smooth sailings. No leaks, or clogs. Sorry if I made this a Enigma vs HVE thing instead of focusing on the cart more, just offering perspective. Hoping to hear from the community what carts they prefer? What device do you use for cartridges? And finally what things are people interested in when reviewing cartridges? How can I review this style of product better?

Ummm not sure where to start with this one. I will not be reviewing in my traditional format, due to this flower being absolutely awful. I purchased 2oz ($320) and split it with a pal, and ya this bud has been such a huge disappointment. For context we both pretty much exclusively smoke Js and this ...weed continually goes out, almost after each drag. The ash on the larger buds are kinda salt and pepper, but the smaller buds, which one jar primarily consisted of had very black ash. I’ve never had an issue with WP before, actually given them mostly positive reviews for the purchases I’ve made in the past. However, this flower is easily the worst smoke I’ve had this year, we both ended up splitting some LP oz called “Big Ol’ Bag O Buds” that was $140 and smoked far better than this flower. Has anyone else picked this flower up from WP? What has your experience been like? Am I crazy? Did I get a bad batch? I’m convinced the weed wasn’t flushed properly, but I’m no expert? What’s your opinion on the situation?
