Was pretty impressed with the 99ers I bought in December, so I had to try this one (love me some Runtz).

Buds are fresh and spongy, fairly sticky. As others have noted, some buds are airier than others, and the trim job is definitely a ...bit lacking, but overall the cure makes up for other shortcomings.

Terps are loud as hell. Classic Runtz that leans more Gelato than Zkittles. Creamy, doughy candy gas with hints of lemon. This is right in my wheelhouse.

Terps translate really well to the taste. Tastes like gassy candy with a kushy, lemony exhale. Some joints burn a bit darker than others but it's all light fluffy ash and a decent grease ring.

Pretty even hybrid kinda high I'd say, with a bit of couchlock if you smoke too much. Joints 1-2 had me motivated to get some work done. 3-4 had me wanting to call it a day lol.

Value-wise this is a 10/10 for me. With a coupon and points it ran me $71. Stupid cheap. I'd say the AAAA- rating is fair, mostly for the shitty trim/marginal bag appeal. Price aside I'd call this a soft 8/10 for quality, but I'm deeply biased towards these kinds of terps. I'd be happy with this even at twice what it cost me.

Never thought I'd be back to HGA after a year of craft quads but these 99ers are killing it for me.

Must be HGA day today...

Grabbed this cause I wanted some old school kush and it was $99 an ounce. Frosty purple buds; sweet, earthy, piney gas, with a bit of tuna underneath. Mix of small buds and popcorn with a few mediums. Even the popcorn burns well. Terps translate decently to the ta...ste, burns pretty clean overall.

High isn't super knockout but it's heavy enough, with decent pain relief.

With points and a coupon this ran me $72.50 so I really can't complain. Great value for some classic old school.

I cracked the seal to that familiar smell, Loud, dank and gassy, with some spice as well.

But when I smoke a joint, to my taste it sort of seems, A little green.

Though it's still dank... and earthy.

This was a trip down memory lane, Not sure if I'll be back again.

My goal was to see how this would stand up, To all the fancy, hyped designer stuff.

And the answer is that it's actually kind of nice, When it's this price.

TL;DR, don't give a fuck about Simon and Garfunkel: with coupons it was $106 shipped for an ounce. It stinks, it burns good and it gets me pretty damn high. It is what it is. No ragrets.

Ordered a half of this because I wanted to try Beautiful BC Flowers, and it came as two 5+ gram nugs (pictured) and a few smaller buds.

Aroma was pretty reserved at first, but it's much louder after a week in the jar. To my nose this is basical...ly just a gassy cookie pheno, and that's fine by me.

Taste is like a pungent, gassy ICC, but without any sweetness or lemony notes. Medium grey ash, but the burn is smooth and even, and the terps come through really well.

I'm smoking on this as I write this, and halfway through the joint my forehead and upper lip are getting sweaty. I have a pretty high tolerance so very little knocks me out, but this puts me in a laid back, warm blanket comfort zone.

This was the priciest thing I got from WP at $110/$200, and I think objectively it's well worth the tag. But with so many good options at $150-170... That's probably where most of my money is gonna go lol.

I'm gonna skip over describing what this looks like because... there are pictures lol.

Smells all kinds of fruity. Green candy apple and tropical fruit (sort like green pineapple or something, idk), but with some kushy sort of undertones. It smel...ls ”exotic” for lack of a better term. Terps are pretty loud.

Taste is pretty much all of the above but toned down a notch. I get more tangy green apple than anything else. Overall it's a little bit like the Wizard Fritter.

Burns beautifully, as usual with LSO Gem. A little bit of pepper, but a light fluffy ash, with a decent grease ring right from the start.

Overall I still prefer the White Chocolate LSO, but at $85 a half/$160 an oz, I'm still more than happy with this.

Came in a Mason jar as usual. WP has the best packaging out there. Lo...ve the jars. No transfer required just put em in the stash.

Cracking the jar is just.... Assault. Obscenely loud terps. And there's so much going on: gas and rubber and wet paint, mint and chocolate and spice, plus these pungent notes that remind me of garlic and green onion. I fucking love this shit.

The taste in a joint is all of the above, and everything comes through so well. I bought an ounce of this stuff because the description said it was super tasty and a ”10/10” smoke, and they really weren't kidding. I went back for another ounce cause I was just tearing through my first one. I keep a stash of about 30-40 strains and this is the one I go back to most often lately.

Burn is just beautiful. The pic I took is probably the ”worst” burn I've had out of 30+ joints. Most of them burn white af with a big fat oil ring.

It also slaps, but honestly it's such a delicious fucking smoke I don't think I'd even care if it didn't get my high. I'd smoke it just for the terps.

At $160 a zip this is stupid good value. I've bought so much stuff in the $240-280 range that doesn't smoke near as good as this.

Shoutout to LSO Gem too. They've had a ton of killer drops lately.

I've been loving damn near everything KK has dropped lately, so I couldn't resist grabbing this.

Bag appeal is clearly on point, and then some. Unfortunately that's more or less where it ends.

I'd like to de...scribe how this smells, but it really doesn't smell like much of anything. I kind of get a greasy smell, a tiny bit of gassyness, and once it's busted up I get a bit of blueberry and spice. But it's all very faint.

Taste is about the same. I do get hints of blueberry, which is what I was after, but more than anything it just tastes like hot smoke. The burn is decent, but probably the worst out of the 10 KK drops I've tried.

It does slap pretty good, I'll give it that. I get a warm/sweaty forehead high before I've even finished the joint. But good looks and a solid high aren't enough to justify the $110 price for 14g.

Love KK, but this is a miss for me.

I tried this after grabbing the Wizard Fritter LSO the week before. The ICC isn't as frosty and pretty as the fritter, but the terps are just as loud. Creamy/cakey/gassy, but there's also vanilla and floral notes and lemon. This leans heavy... into the gelato side which is just fine by me.

Taste is a perfect representation of the smell. Tastes like cakey gas with hints of lemon on The exhale. It's just stupid tasty. I think this tastes as good as/maybe even better than the Moonshine ICC, which I really loved.

I suck at describing highs but I'd call this pretty potent, indica-leaning, but only couch lock in large doses. All over body buzz but also some pressure in my forehead/eyes.

For $160 a zip I was really happy with this. This was my second WP order and overall I've been really satisfied. I'll gladly take a $15 coupon for another order.

I don't know why I can't take decent pictures anymore... I tried, I swear.

So I did Skookum kind of dirty here last week, though rightly so I think. Anyway, I bitched here but also reached out to them, and they offered me a replacement can.

First off: their customer s...ervice is like 11/10. Super friendly, helpful, apologetic. Just top notch.

They shipped this on Thursday and it arrived Monday morning, not bad for a 4000km journey.

This stuff isn't as wowsers as the Octane visually, but it's clearly well-treated. Like others here, I don't like that the small tuna cans squish the bud. But at the same time, the parts that aren't squished are immaculate, and I feel like overall the cans probably protect the bud better just because they don't get jostled around in shipping. Sorry, I digress.

Smell on this out of the can was great, but after a few days in a jar it's just awesome. Sweet, creamy cookie terps, but with a nutty, kind of earthy backdrop. They're so loud and so delicious.

The taste (in a joint) is kind of a curveball cause the earthy/nutty dank bits come through more than the sweet cookies. I kind of missed the sweetness at first but after smoking this all week it's really grown on me.

Burn is smooth and even, with a fluffy grey ash. This is the smoke I was expecting from the Octane.

The buzz is pretty upbeat. Hybrid but creative and energetic, uplifting. For me this is a great daytime/early evening smoke.

Overall I had a pretty disappointing introduction to Skookum, but they made it right, and their second attempt was on the nose.

Their stuff is pricey as fuck, but based on this experience I feel like you get what you pay for. Sealed can wrapped in tissue paper in a branded box, boveda included.

Not something I'd order every month, but definitely a ”treat yourself” kind of purchase.
