First ever order with WP after years of seeing lots of fans and haters on this sub lol. I have to say it was a pretty solid first impression.

Bag appeal is definitely on point. Them shits is just caked.

Aroma is, indeed, much like an apple pie/fritter, but with a weird sort of funk I can't place. I guess...it kind of smells like an apple pie that's just gone off? So, overripe apple and dough, with hints of sweetness and gas. Really cool terps whatever they are.

Taste doesn't quite come through as strongly as the aroma. Subtle gassy/fruity/doughy taste. It's a decent-tasting smoke. The burn is pretty much perfect though. Light, fluffy ash, big grease ring right from the start.

Slaps pretty good too, without being a knockout. For me this is a great daytime weed cause I feel really stoned but alert, with no mushy brain.

I don't think this is incentivized. I didn't tag it, mostly because I forgot lol. Last month they were offering a discount code for reviews but I don't think that applies anymore. If it did I'd gladly take a code cause I'd order from them again without it anyway.

Q: 8.5/10 V: 9/10 ($160 a zip)

Didn't really wanna do this but I figure it's a necessary pubic service.

Was super stoked to try out skookum, despite the exorbitant prices. (For the uninitiated this is $150 a half without discounts).

Order took two weeks to arrive (CP's fault, not Skookum) so I w...as pretty antsy by the time it finally got here.

Cracked the can and wow.... What a beauty. Beautiful buds and these gassy, dank, cakey terps. It actually smells a lot like the KK/TQF cut of Dosi.

At this point I'm thinking, wow this stuff might actually be worth the money. (Other than the fact that the cans are too small and the bud is a bit squished.)

So I go to roll up a joint, and when I open my grinder there's an immature seed sitting in the pile of weed I just ground. I sift through the rest, don't see any seed pieces, so I roll it up and light up. Immediate burnt popcorn aroma. The ash is dark and falling apart. Great.

So I rolled up another one. This time checking the buds as I break them up. No visible seeds. So I pop the pieces in the grinder, grind it up, and immediately find chunks of broken seed.

So I open the second can, at which point I find the bud with the seed pod crater on the outside. So I break up that bud, don't find any other seeds. It smokes okay. Kind of tasty, but still with a dark ash and a ”hot” taste.

Attempt number four is where I found my first mature seed (and another immature one). Again, I poked around like a truffle pig, looking for other seeds. Didn't find any. But again that joint burns dark and doesn't taste very good.

I would be disappointed by this experience at any price point, but for $150 a half I'm pretty disgusted.

Although I do have to laugh that this came from a company whose motto is ”the truth is in the burn” lol. At least they got that part right - just not how they intended.

Disclaimer: my lighting sucks and it's not quite this purple to the naked eye. It's definitely purple, but brighter, with some cool bluish sugar leaves sticking out.

Anyway, bag appeal is on point. I can see a decent amount of glittery trich heads so this bud is in pretty good sh...ape for something that came in a mylar bag stuffed in a mailer.

The aroma on this is just fucking beautiful. Creamy, nutty, buttery, with hints of gas and cookie sweetness. It actually smells quite similar to the LA Kush Cake from Broke Kid Grows.

Unlike the BKG LAKC, the taste on this comes through in spades. I've had PBB before and I've never felt it smelled/tasted like actual peanut butter. More sort of vaguely nutty/earthy. But the exhale on this is creamy, nutty, sweet and gassy (hey that's my favourite Who album). And it's actually legit pretty close to a peanut butter cookie. Burn is pretty much perfect. Fluffy, pale ash with a tiny bit of pepper.

The high on this is something else. I smoked a little test joint the day it arrived and it was RIP my work day. It sort it washed over me like waves on a beach for about half an hour before settling into the most chill, relaxed stone. I wasn't really couch locked but I just did not want to do anything lol.

I grabbed this cause it was $175 a zip, which seemed too good to be true (especially from HH). It's teeny tiny bit dry on the outside, but the buds are sticky and fresh and squishy inside, and a day in the jar was all it took to make them perfect.

Pretty much a 5/7 in quality and value for me.

Edit: I was also worried it would be smalls at that price but it was a nice mix of medium-large buds with a few frosty smalls. Super happy I grabbed this.

Picked this up a couple weeks ago but it just came back in stock so I figured I'd throw up a review. Kind of surprised it's back, since Moonshine just went legal. Thought I'd seen the last of this stuff on the BM.

I can't say anything negative about this stuff. Not the fro...stiest bud ever but it's got a weird sort of artisanal beauty. Glittering trichome heads everywhere so I know this stuff has been handled with care.

Aroma is creamy, gassy, cakey goodness. Sweet, lemony floral, this stuff smells like something I literally want to eat. I've had a lot of ICC in the last year and this is definitely the best of them.

Taste carries over beautifully, though it's maybe a bit less sweet than the aroma. There's a nice gassy, lemony menthol taste to go with the cakey terps.

Burns to a pale grey, fluffy ash, with a grease ring that shows up on the first couple puffs.

The buzz on this is just...so nice. Relaxed, euphoric, like a warm, fuzzy blanket. Not really knockout/couchlock, more like chill and zone out watching your favourite show for the eighth time, or spend way too much time trying to write a reddit review about it.

Like I said, can't say anything negative about this stuff. Except the price I guess. With the ”welcome” discount this was $230 an ounce, which is pretty decent given the quality/exclusivity. Regular price is $135/half oz, so it's pretty pricey. Given that it's one of if not the last drop of this stuff on the BM, I don't mind the tag. (I just ordered another ounce lol).

Tbh I'm just glad I got to try this stuff, cause I feel like it's a really special cut of ICC. I'd pay inflated LP prices for this stuff for sure.

Had to jump on the bandwagon and check these guys out after seeing all the reviews and the prices.

I'll start out with my only (very minor) complaint: the vac sealing was pretty tight, so some of my buds were squished (notably the secret cookies). That being said, if you zoom in on m...y pictures you can see all sorts of glittering trichome heads, so they clearly weren't that beat up.

Anyway, like everyone else this came out of the bag as one single sticky brick. Most of the buds were over two grams. Not a hint of shake, the count was overweight by half a gram, and my zip was made up of 16 total buds.

The smell.... Oh man this smells nice. Very doughy, with a sweet cake and cookie backdrop; there's some floral gassyness, a bit of spice, and this cool not-quite-rubbery funk. As a cake and gas whore this is right in my wheelhouse.

The taste is the only minor letdown. Everything from the aroma translates, but it's not nearly as in your face. Burn is clean and even, with heavy smooth smoke.

The high is really nice. I'd call it a chatty indica. Relaxing but not quite couchlock, but clear-headed and sociable. I'd call this a mid evening smoke.

Overall this was $128 with their 20% off sale, so the value is 10/10 for me. Even without the sale, at $160, this is a steal. Overall quality is probably 8.5/10. My second favourite of the four strains I got.
