This one is definitely my favourite so far and I kind of had a feeling it would be after opening the bag to these exquisite looking buds. A cross between El Chapo... OG and Pink Death Star, producing these extremely greasy, carefully trimmed nugs, showcasing shades of dark green and purple, accompanied by a substantial dusting of frosty trichomes and peach coloured pistils. Cure is on point once again, leaving the buds feeling fresh and hella sticky with a dense, snappy texture.
Didn't know what to expect from this cross but it certainly took me for surprise. Dizzying, fuel-forward aromas that quickly fill up a room, followed by hints of sweet and spicy kush. A longer sniff yields a rich, vanilla like scent, giving it an interesting profile that translates perfectly to taste and then some. Took me a while to figure out as it's very different than the average gassy indica but I get a delicious berry gas flavour at first followed by a slightly spicy, kushy exhale. Definitely what I call a lip smacker as the taste lingers on the roof of your mouth. Silky smooth smoking, burning with a greasy oil ring and clean ash.
She's a potent one, delivering a strong head high with an equally as powerful body high. A few minutes into a session and the relaxation already sets in, feeling yourself wanting to slump back in place while experiencing a spaced out, dreamy cerebral stone. It ultimately leads to a very serene, laid back couch lock with a potential nap to follow. Big fan of this one overall.
Don't believe I've ever had these two strains together before. Pink Kush x MK Ultra, birthing these extremely dense, greasy, forest green buds. Frosty, sticky, and very well cured with a neat trim to match.
Initially smells very earthy and dank until broken up where it reveals a g...assy, kushy sweetness with lingering floral notes. Flavours are also similar, leading with an earthy, gassy smoke paired with sweet, floral undertones. Pretty common profile overall but what really stood out is the cleanliness of the burn and smoothness of the smoke, accompanied by a fat oil ring.
The high is certainly worthy of the heavy hitter title. Definitely a step up in potency from an average pink kush with the inclusion of the MK. Very sedating, dreamy, and spaced out, delivering an unforgiving, effectively relaxing, couch lock. Perfectly suited for evenings and when needing to wind down as it makes for a potent sleep aid with stress/anxiety reducing qualities.
Genetics : Garlic Nut Butter Breath x Black Sugar Breath

No shortness of bag appeal here as this Black Garlic is as flashy as they come. First thing noticed is how ludicrously... caked the buds are, giving the surface a white/silvery sheen, nearly drowning out it's pale green and violet appearance. Fresh, sticky cure, followed by a careful hand trim and firm density.
I thought this was Black Garlic from Oni seeds which is GMO x Sour Dubb but recently found out it's Harmony's Garlic Nut Butter Breath x their Black Sugar Breath. A little misleading but now that I know it's lineage I could easily see the similarities and makes sense to why there is no actual garlic cookie influence whatsoever. You can't mistake those GMO terps. Instead it's sugary, sweet, and creamy in both nose and taste followed by rich nutty, herbal undertones. It's actually quite a wonderful profile altogether. Joints burn to a fluffy light coloured ash while greasing up decently.
Pretty much a very balanced hybrid with the slightest indica influence. A solid mix of mental and physical effects, delivering a euphoric, care free head high and soothing, calming body buzz. Not enough to be considered heavy or sedating but it certainly helps out with feeling relaxed and easy going. I can smoke on this one all day as it's just so good and doesn't slow me down much, although it could leave those with a lower tolerance a little lazy afterwards.
Starting off this round with a cross I've never tried before although I...9;m very familiar with the parents. A Pink inspired marriage between Pink Goo and Pink Bubba, giving birth to this wildly fox-tailed flower, actually reminding me of certain cuts of Pink Goo I've had over the years. Maybe a common trait of hers. Dense, sticky, and ultra greasy, covered from top to bottom in gooey trichomes. A fitting colour scheme to resemble the ever changing foliage this time of year, combining shades of light and dark green with hints of purple and a substantial amount of copper orange pistils. Neatly trimmed and cured very nicely.
A pungent, full bodied bouquet of dank earth and gas, followed by a sweet, floral musk. It kept reminding me of black licorice at times. Extremely similar when it comes to the taste, leading with earthy and gassy flavours while ending with a floral-perfumey exhale. The burn is slow and very resinous, producing a thick oil ring and salt n pepper ash.
She's quite a potent one overall. Especially once the effects fully get rolling as it's almost got a creeper aspect to it. It opens up with a euphoric, elated high, feeling very dreamy and upbeat. After it's initial wave subsides it does a complete turnaround and unleashes a heavy dose of deep, couch-locking relaxation. Providing long lasting mental and physical relief throughout it's entirety.
You never forget some of your original favourites and that's what Wedding Cake is for me. I've had this Wedding Cake BX1 from Harmony Collective a while back but over...all I think it's vastly improved. Gorgeous, dense, sticky buds. Super caked and colourful, showcasing shades of forest green and purple accompanied by an assortment of blood-orange pistils and snowy white crystals. Trim and cure are right on point.
Sweet, creamy, sugary, wedding cake aromas with hints of vanilla. Also an underlying earthy dankness. I'll never get tired of this profile. They translate to flavour but in a milder fashion, not as cakey more so than earthy, sweet, and herbal while picking up on the odd cakey nuance here and there. Nice and smooth smoking through either bong or j, burning with a salt n' pepper ash and fair sized resin ring.
Always found Wedding Cakes to have a balanced high for the most part but considering this is a Wedding Cake back-cross it feels a little heavier than usual. Very relaxing, calming, laid back high with a dash of euphoria. Easily can feel couch locking after a long day and in larger amounts but not necessarily a KO, comfortably coasting throughout the evening.
This is an interesting one. I kind of have mixed feelings about it when it comes to certain aspects but overall it's decent. Also because I love the Freshwater Biscotti 100x more so my standards were a littler higher going into it. A lovely cross of Indian...a Bubblegum x Biscotti grown by Guru, producing these very frosty, dense, colourful nugs. Could be a little sticker but still far from dry. More of a neutral texture if you will. Buds are neatly manicured as well without any popcorn or shake in my bag. I did find a few very tiny premature seeds here and there.
A touch muted at first, mainly smelling sour and herbal until broken up, revealing a slightly sweet, creamy-cookie nose with a gentle vanilla finish. Still, not the most pungent of profiles but pleasant nonetheless. The flavours also come through in a subtle manner, mainly tasting sour and herbal with a bit of a spicy cookie aftertaste. A little more enjoyable in the bong overall. Joints burn with a sizeable resin ring and darker grey ash.
This one packs a medium potency with effects that hover around the indica dominant territory. It tends to focus more on it's relaxing qualities overall, delivering an even keeled, focused head high with a calming body stone to follow. Not couch locking or sedating but there is a tiny bit of a burn out afterwards.
I've only been graced by this strains presence a handful of times and this has so far bee...n one of my most memorable instances with it. A cross between Mint Chocolate Chip and The Cube bred by Exotic Genetix, presenting these gorgeous, caked out nugs. Certain buds 'pop' a lot more but overall some very impressive looking flower. Hints of green and purple collide in unison while being joined by a heavy population of towering, milky trichomes and glowing orange pistils. Eye candy at it's finest, especially when taking in it's impressive patterned structure. The buds feel firm and semi dense with a moderately sticky texture within. Very nicely trimmed and cured. I didn't find a seed but I did spot what looked like a couple empty pods/holes.
Instantly fell in love with the nose on this one straight out of the bag, becoming more and more pronounced as breaking a bud down. Creamy, rich, nutty cookie aromas with a dash of sweet mint and earth. The taste, while not as prolific as the nose, still managed to deliver a pleasant cookie leaning smoke with herbal, nutty, and spicy nuances. Joints burned smooth but a little quick while producing a grey, peppery ash and average sized oil ring.
The effects are medium in potency and overall quite balanced, maybe a smidge on the indica side in the long run. Mainly offers a calming, relaxed high with mellow heady effects, making it a very chill afternoon/early evening smoke. Probably would be better suited to those with a lower to average potency as it's a little mild mannered in nature.
It's been quite a while since the last time I tried this wonderful cultivar from an amazing contest I was grateful to win. Happy to report it's just as good and remar...kably similar and that was over a year ago. Checks all the boxes for me from the cure, the burn, the terps, the whole experience. I think Harmony nailed it with this one and it was by far my favourite of the harmony strains carried by bccannco. Amazing bag appeal as well with beautiful tones of purple throughout accented by hints of light green and copper orange pistils. All covered in a glistening coat of resin filled trichomes.
Mouth watering, peanut butter breath-like aromas and flavours, delivering sweet, nutty, and creamy notes, resembling a deliciously rich and nutty peanut butter. Also a light herbal influence in the mix. Super smooth and clean burning flower. It builds a fat oil ring in a joint and produces a light salt n pepper from start to finish.
The high is also on par with everything else as it packs a solid punch that feels like a slight indica leaning hybrid. It's very euphoric and uplifting with mellowing, relaxing qualities as well. I found it to be the perfect movie or gaming type high as it's easy to zone out mentally while feeling one with the couch.
My second stroll in the park with this amazing cultivar from Teddy Farms and almost everything is virtually the same as the last time except when it comes to the taste, delivering a much more terpie...r experience overall which I further address in the following paragraph (slightly tweaked to differentiate from last time). Bag appeal is on point once again. Perfectly trimmed and cured buds, dense in structure and sticky in texture. Light green in colour with faint hints of purple, matched by a plethora of vibrant orange pistils and shiny white trichomes.
The nose on this MacFlurry is absolutely killer and once you open the jar you just can't stop sniffing it. It's such a fitting profile for this summer time heatwave, exploding with zesty, creamy, lemon-citrus aromas with undertones of vanilla. Certainly reminiscent of an ice cream related treat. The nose effortlessly translates to flavour on this batch, delivering a refreshing blast of creamy lemon zest and vanilla, followed by a gentle herbal-pine exhale. Smooth but the smoke is extremely thick due to the density of the flower so you don't need to load up a big bowl or take a huge puff to produce a significant cloud. Joints burn to a grey peppery ash with a greasy resin ring.
A high that feels suitable for just about anytime of the day as it offers a little bit of everything. It certainly has a potent kick to it, opening up with a powerful cerebral stone that promotes a heavy feeling of euphoria and upbeat energy. Great for a daytime smoke but it's equally just as good for an evening session, especially when it's relaxing side kicks in and offers the perfect dose of tranquility to leave you in a carefree, happy demeanour throughout it's lengthy duration.
One of the many Garlic strains I'll be reviewing within the next little while from BcCannCo. Not sure of the genetics on this Garlic Chunk but it's... certainly a first for me. Lovely, frosty buds, appearing very fresh and healthy with their lively green colours and fiery orange pistils. Medium density with a slightly sticky, snappy texture, crisply breaking away at the stems. Overall a great cure with a neat trim to follow.
Absolutely love the nose on this Garlic Chunk, especially post grind. Super pungent and funky, something to expect from a strain with garlic in the name. A combination of spicy, herbal garlic with an onion kind of funk. Honestly reminds me of soup stock. Also a little nutty. Flavours are there as well, just not as complex, delivering a spicy, herbal leaning smoke with a slightly funky finish. Smooth and clean burning, producing a lightly peppered ash and modest sized oil ring.
The effects are quite well rounded, finding them to be perfectly suited for anytime of the day. Starts off with a potent cerebral high that promotes uplifting qualities as well as energetic, social ones. It never feels too overpowering as it's eventually backed by a relaxing, mellow body buzz, inviting you to the couch where it can be slightly locking, especially if a little tired to begin with. Overall a solid garlic cross that I really enjoyed.
