I get a dm to the effect that this dispensary is under new management and they are trying to repair a damaged reputation: they want to send me free product in exchange for honest reviews. Right away the red flags fly, bells ring, and sirens scream: anything too good to be true…… .
Pop...ped into my fav sub and did a little r&d. Found a fellow community member had posted about receiving the same solicitation, and a second post indicated took the plunge and ordered. I reached out and the kind redittor replied that the package had arrived, product looked legit, yet to try. Couple hours later they followed up to say they had partaken, and the flower was righteous.
Christmas arrived early; I scored two 7g tins of flower, two grams of hash, and three different edibles.
Communication was excellent. They pandered to a personal preference.
Out the door in a timely manner. The usual high quality, odorless, and secure packaging. Shipped via Canda post xpress post.
Two hashes sent: BW Watermelon and Lion.
Wish I’d mentioned to them I prefer to smoke black, and am not a fan of blondes. Neither hash did it for me but blondes never have, with the exception of the one I’m dating. I’m a dinosaur who navigated the 80’s and 90’s with Afgani and Jamaican black hash as my copilots. I simply find blonde has far too mild.
The watermelon was a vibrant terracotta colour, with a nose of watermelon that, thankfully, did not transferred to the flavor. The Lion appears identical to Amsterdam Lion and was a greyish blonde, clay-like, putty that tasted and smelled like blonde hash. I assume if you like blondes these may do something for you. The subtleties are lost on me, I’m into overt and obvious. Oddly there were no hashes on their site when I was looking to check value.
As far as the edibles go, they kindly sent an email saying there was a recall on one of them and to dispose of it. Then they added a $20 credit to my account to replace the recall, and when you consider it was free to begin with, it is crazy. They are obviously committed to restoring their reputation. I haven’t gotten to the CBD only gummies yet. I did indulge in a late afternoon 2x 30g dose of the Golden Monkey Extracts gummy. I’ve had my eye on them, and am grateful for the opportunity to give’em a spin. I got a nice glow that included some uplifting euphoria, complete with permagrin, and a nice calming of the body. Effects lasted two to three hours after kicking in. No or very little weed taste, not that I care. I liked them, whether I order them again will depend on the effects of a larger dose. Sometimes me likes to get rightly fucked up.
The flower will be reviewed separately, but in broad strokes; it was pretty good and, based on their pricing, excellent value.
Second time on the Ultra pink train. The first run defined quad pink for me. I realized that this is one of those strains that when available, order. Honestly, I had planned is to save this one for the holidays, hoping it can be an annual addition to the eggnog and Bad Santa night. Sadly I hav...e the self control of an eight year old and cracked the seal and jumped right in.
Sticky to the extreme, the entire 14g came out of the can stuck together like an herbal hockey puck. Big, well formed, dense buds; trimmed to perfection. Outstanding bag/tin appeal. ( check out the pic of the resin sticking to the lid)
Smells like a dank kush, tastes like a dank kush. It’s a dank kush.
I thought this batch not quite as potent as the first batch I tried a few months ago. It’s still a strong indica, but doesn’t put you down for the count.
Grabbed on sale helped up the value factor.
I will continue to order whenever available.

Value value value: grabbed an O for $160, off their “flower sale” (halfs go for $85). I’ve ordered the flower sale three or four times and have yet to be disappointed.
Billed as “smalls”, and that was fact. Mostly popcorn, the majority dense little nugs and the balance memory fo...am sponge consistency. The trim was understandably a little scraggily in some parts. Predominately dark green mass blinged with some fire orange hairs. Niiicely caked, I must say.
BUT you don’t smoke the bag, and the tell is in the consumption, and this flower smoked beautifully. A solid resign ring and a smooth burn.
This was really a very classic kush nose and flavor. I got musky, skunky, earthy, and hints of cedar in the jar , and then on the bust a nice floral release.
Effects were nicely balanced with a shot of cerebral euphoria upfront followed by a calming, but not debilitating, chill.
Thank you. Some interesting points, and food for thought. Unfortunately the picture doesn’t accurately reflect the size. I’m still stuck on “medium and smalls”, and suggesting original price us $250.
Arrived a day before scheduled but that’s after CP diluted service delivery expectations. Still, I’m letting it feel like a little win.
Opening the bag resulted in a wafting of wood and fuel, with all sorts of stuff in the background. Overall, verbose and complex.

The O I ordered was all big chunky medium buds. They were perfectly trimmed, fogged over in trichomes, with nice and dense formations. Really a spectacle to behold.
Effects were balanced and somewhat enjoyable. I was debating the merits of the buzz and realized I was talking to myself (spacey), which in turn caused me to smile and giggle (euphoric), but I didn’t give F#*k (calming). Certainly uplifting and calming but not great for focus.
Pricey but you get what you pay for. When offered on sale, as was this, it’s very good value.

What a treat. An absolutely beautiful smoke! Skoocum has never disappointed. The product consultations with the CS staff always prove fortuitous. I would have never chosen this obscure strain had it not been highly recommended. Pity that they’d sold out of ounces before payday.
**Bag appe...al was off the charts**: That is a 10 gram cola in the photos my fellow bud lovers, and I only ordered 14g.Kinda had the same effect as a hundred dollar bill: lasted longer because I didn’t want to break it. Dense, perfectly trimmed, nice blending of hues of green accented with purple, vibrant orange hairs well represented, and frosty with trichomes.
**Nose and Flavour:** Very verbose and super enticing. The smell exploded even further when in the grinder. Popped the bag and instantly enveloped in an overtly sweet berry funk with hints of earth, spice and even a tad of fuel. Flavour was similar to nose and tasty AF. A “creaminess” was obvious and noted while smoking. Not sure if that makes sense, or if I’m capturing the real essence, but it was novel and noice.
**Smoke:** I roll dubes. This was incredibly smooth and clean. Very pronounced resin ring. Like I said, “a real treat”.
**Effects:** This was a great daytime, anytime flower. Energizing, uplifting, happy and euphoric. Smoking this promoted a good mood and overall happiness.
So I took a two month hiatus from Budmail, kinda like what the Aussies would call a bit of a “walk about”, after having ordered almost exclusively from them for a year. I went forth and sought, for the most part, value alternatives, but I did try one similar to BM and rekindled a relationship wi...th a previous favourite. It was a gratifying trip where I interacted with some great redditors, had some fun communications with a few moms, and arrived at a moment of clarity.
There are value deals out there. I had an O all in for $104! The issue is finding consistency. In each scenario when I ordered a mix and match or simply multiple strains from the lower tiers there was always a gem in the rough, something smokable, and inevitably something lack luster. So it averages out to smokable, and that leads to higher consumption: bigger dubes and increased frequency.
The end of my journey is a return to the familiar with no further great concern that I’m missing out. My great granny always said, “you get what you pay for”. For me, in the long run, I’m buying into paying for the top drawer, and trying to roll back on frequency in favour of quality experiences. I will likely still be occasionally tempted by a value offer, but now wonder if the next journey is exploring the best strains each of the upper tier growers offer.
Onto the strain at hand:
CS tipped me off that something good was up with this and I owe a shout out. Every now and then you get something really special; this was one of those times.
Nicely trimmed, with a few sugar leaves for show. Nice thumb sized buds, only took three of them to make the quarter (I have big hands). Heavy with resin I had to physically separate the buds when I removed them from the bag.
The nose is wonderful. It entices with overtones of earth, musk, cedar, a honey like sweetness and a hint of fuel.
A dube produces a very nice resin ring and a smooth burn. My first impression was “rich”. HPK is very full flavoured.
Effects were outstanding: Insta-permagrin, a tad of giddiness, and definitely euphoric out of the gate. Then, like getting under a warm blanket, a deep sense of calm and relaxation wash over the body. Great legs too.
Overall, I rate this as exceptional, and I got what I paid for.

Lately, in my pursuit for value, I’ve taken to smalls and find, when ordered from a reputable mom, smalls really bridge my conflicting desires for both value and top drawer product. I ordered an O of smalls for $150, taxes added in cart, and a reasonable $10 for shipping. This is my second smalls ...order from KB and I foresee continuing down this path.
Despite the size the nugs were dense, well trimmed, and covered in trichomes. To be frank I do miss the bag appeal of nice big colas but one with conflicting desires must give somewhere.
Nose was pungent with a hint of fuel in the background. Very Kush, but I didn’t really get the traditional fishy smell associated with the Tuna.
Taste was pleasant. Smoke is a little harsh on the throat.
Effects were real nice: overtly euphoric, even a tad silly, and then couch lock.
In general, I was pleased with the product, and their CS team are quick to reply to inquiries.
