Mostly medium buds with a few smalls in an O. Dense, well formed, and a great trim. A plethora of dark orange hairs, and really covered in trichomes impress visually. Very nice bag appeal.
A pleasant and loud nose, with a nice flavour, and a smooth burn. Definitely had that classic sativa t...aste, in fact, it tasted a lot like SSH plus something I couldn’t quite place. The nose is sweet and cedarish.
No stone and just a bit of a buzz, mostly around the eyes, but very notably energizing and uplifting. Overall, a very nice representation of get shit done sativa: perfect for my two week summer staycation. Really promotes the capacity to focus. A great day starter, and booster throughout the day.
A bit pricey but, IMO, worth it. If you’re into sativas you’ll appreciate this one.
During Covid I got into smoking quads exclusively, it was a great ride but budget constraints dictated that I seek out value options. So I delved into Reddit and came across Carley’s Garden. The laid back and genuine approach to their site was appealing.
I reached out and found their can...did, if not blunt, reply refreshing. The author didn’t dance around, and shot from the hip: Respect.
I dig the idea of dealing directly with the grower. I ordered a half of each of the profiled strains. $165 (after $15 referral coupon), tax included in price, free shipping on orders over $150, and arrived in a timely manner via xpresspost.
The Carley’s Pink was acceptable. The product description proactively addresses a lack of bag appeal but I found it was respectable. 14g order contained a huge +5g bud. Buds had varying degrees of deep purple accents, with the big girl rife with the regal colour. Sticky and reasonably dense. I didn’t love the nose or flavor but the couch lock potency was overt. Good value.
Now the Nitro Cookies is the gem in the rough I was hoping for. An awesome daytime smoke just in time for my week long cottage vacation. Great hybrid: Uplifting, and even giggly, effects with a physically calming element too. Beautifully formed, caked, and very well trimmed, small to medium sized buds. A very unique and highly desirable phenotype: smells like victory. I really enjoyed the nose and taste of this offering, and then effects were exactly what I was looking for. Great value. I will reorder this one for sure, and continue to communicate regarding product recommendations.
WOW. Stoney and spacey; this is a heavy hitter. Calming and euphoric effects are overt. I went for physio after a dube and I failed all the balance tests, and couldn’t focus on the therapist’s instructions. She subtly inferred that she knew the origin of incapacity. Later I huffed another and s...at down to watch some tube, lasted 10 minutes before passing out on the couch. Kush lovers will rejoice in the potency of this lovely offering from Skookum. The regal linage does not disappoint.
Mostly bigger medium sized buds with a few small ones mixed in. Very sticky and resinous. Crystal covered. Dense. Respectable trim with a few sugar leafs for show. Vibrant green wrought with fiery hairs.
Nose of gas and earth, with hints of skunk and something sweet or floral. Interesting taste that’s hard to peg, but enjoyable. Nice burn. Smoke expands in the lungs and gives a little kick.
It didn’t make the weekly sale list so it cost full pop, but I don’t mind paying for this kind of quality. Unfortunately BM suspended the free delivery option for orders under two bills, but I suspect it’s because Canada Post totally dropped the ball and delays were outrageous.
I stretched this one out because it was really nice. I had to exercise some self-control to save a bud for the host of a cottage I was invited to. Tuned out to be a good call: the host enjoyed an afternoon spent on the dock under the influence, and said as long as I came with primo smoke I was welco...me anytime.
Rich green and purple hues peppered with red hairs. Beautifully trimmed. Cured for quality. The half was comprised of all medium sized, dense buds.
Smooth clean burn. Very pungent flavor with notable influences of earth, skunk, and sweet fuel.
Effects are nice and sedating with a shot of happy and a pinch of thoughtful. Upfront I’m motivated and uplifted; then things meander towards chill while keeping a grin pasted to my wrinkled face. A really exceptional smoke for socializing.
Again, I waited for the weekly sale and therefore the value was exceptional.
Really nice buds: Well trimmed, medium sized, caked, dense yet spongy, predominately light green with a mix of darker green, and peppered with vibrant orange hairs.
Nose is rich: heady, spicy, hints of wood, and incredible as it sounds, ginger.
Smooth tasty smoke.
Effects ...are right up my alley. Initially a nice buzzy tendency towards distraction, and then I find the couch and remote.
From their “Flower Sale” section. Super value at $150 an O. I embrace the small nug batches, from various moms, and find them typically exceptional bang for the buck.
“Good things come in small packages”, totally nails this. An excellent representation of a popular strain. Hits cer...ebral and body with stress relief. Very sedating in higher dosages.
Great Nose: very woody (both pine and cedar), earthy, and spicy.
Where’s My Bike is a personal favorite, definitely on my “Desert Island Five” list of buds.
Hard hitting Sativa that is very cerebral and spacey. Very uplifting and energizing. Where’s My Bike: where’s my car keys, where are my glasses, where’s that chocolate bar I just bought, ...what did I go to the kitchen for, why am I in the storage room????
Beautiful dusted buds, actually got a 4 inch cola; never seen one that size this strain. Smooth smoke. Taste is unique, and desirable. Nose of spice, bubblegum, and a hint of citrus.
Death Bubba is a staple indica dominant , and perfect for inducing sleep. I hit this, watch a 20 minute comedy, and hit the rack. Initially hits with a happy punch and then slips into a substantial calming and relaxing daze.
Not sure why this wasn’t a quad. Really exceptional buddage with a beauty, yet subtle, purple hue and dusted with trichomes. Musky earthy and a hint of cedar. Tastes great and burn is fairly smooth.
Stole it off one of their sales, resulting in exceptional value. If you sign up for alerts I get a weekly blast early Friday morning for a flash sale. Sometimes you need a code and sometimes the discount is automatic in cart.
Nose of pine, spice and fuel. Tastes delicious. Smooth smoke.
I’m one of those dinosaurs whose glory days were fueled on black hash, typically Afghani although, when available, Jamaican was a favorite but always respect for a good... Moroccan or Red Leb. Never a fan of blonde.
This is a very good hash. Provides both cerebral and body stones. Frankly anything I’ve tried from Tegridy Farms has been exceptional. The strain specific hashes have all been very good.
Cheebas has a fantastic selection of both domestic and imported hashes. It ain’t cheap but, like greatgranny always said, “you get what you pay for”. They also provide excellent customer service. Only complaint: no referral program and no loyalty program, however they advise they are working on something.
