Dense bud structure; the flower holds more of snappy texture. Perhaps slightly over cured as they were a little on the dryer side but still incredibly fragrant. It’s a direct punch to the nose when you open the jar and start breaking down the flower; consist...ing of modified grape, musk (think purple flintstone vitamin or Dimetapp cold medicine) with a citrus and spice / herbal backend. Cream and berries reminiscent. Terpenes are distinguishable and well represented, bringing a flavour-packed burn and exhale filled with the aforementioned aromas.
Functionally, this batch serves as a daytime hybrid that can be enjoyed whenever and by pretty much most people - bearing dose in mind as this stuff is incredibly potent. It’s a very creative and pleasant feeling with quick onset. Not much of a burnout if you don’t over consume but the high can get quite “heady” and discombobulating so I don’t recommend it. This strain has its place and gets the stamp of approval from me.
Buds arrived short and stout in shape, donning a visual display that would stop anyone in their tracks to appreciate flower that is dressed to the nines like this. Obese resin glands decorate the surface in a star studded display, reflecting light and creating... a galactic appearance especially closer to the center of the floret. Oily and tacky to the touch, the bud structure is firm but not overly dense - rendering a quick peel and snap that leaves your fingers pulling apart resin strings and/or cobwebs. Grinder is gonna need a few extra twists with this one.
A musk-like basement overhang is the primary driver here but not in the mould sense, rather, similar to the key characteristics of a “breath” or “garlic” strain. Pungent herbal (mint) notes help to round out that initial punch and work with a noticeable sweetness to bring a complex and layered profile that translates beautifully into flavour at every stage of the burning process. Pleasant yet strong effects take over in a hybrid fashion that fortunately do not bring heavy levels of sedation, I found myself enjoying this treat at all times of the day.

Buds arrived of medium size and conic shape, ever so slightly sticking to each other out of the bag. Bright green and green variations deck the surface area are separated only with the modest presence of pistils, giving users a familiar look that is well manic...ured. Texturally speaking, this batch carried more of a bend, crack and snap due to its dense nature and cure - still sticking to your fingers with moderate handling and giving your grinder a little resistance.
Ice Cream Cake felt appropriate to dive into first as it embodies a few characteristics I’m quite fond of. Cake and baked sugar forward, this sweet treat is backed up with a gassy, spicy and herbal palate. These aromas are pungent, present and translate well into flavour when burnt, giving users an enjoyable experience as well as an intoxicating one. Body-centred, this buzz arrived strong but in a pleasant fashion by adjusting your body weight to feel floaty and adrift; both physically and mentally. This ICC hits well above its weight and would be recommended for anyone.

Big thanks to @exoticgenetix_not_a_fake for bringing us this sensational cross between two fruit-forward genetic profiles and hunting her best representation as I will never get tired of unique “berry” cultivars that hit like an abusive step parent. ZaZa...s Goudaberry would do the don justice as this batch carries a deep and complex aroma profile lead by mixed forest berry, bitter and funky Parmesan notes, heavy skunk as well as this burnt rubber / mothball twist that likes to linger on the pallet. Every time you think you focus on one scent, your brain is drawn to another as they are all uncharacterized with equal levels of pungency.
Buds arrived dense and compact however slightly over cured - rendering into more of a powder once ground and giving off a lot of trichome dust when handled. There’s a part of me that wonders if this batch was machine trimmed as the grooming appears almost clinical; sterile if you may. This all being said, my experience was only impacted very little by these factors and still very much enjoyed everything else it had to offer. The burn was clean and translation of flavour from flower to smoke was memorable.
Taken aback by how potent she is, Goudaberry found itself being shelved until late at night because while it was an indica/sativa hybrid I certainly got more narcotic and sedative effects from it. First experience being around noon the other day and I was put in the dirt until dinner time, waking up entirely discombobulated wondering where I was. This type of burdening, weighted feel fit like a puzzle piece for my late night shenanigans and movie munchies but however would only recommend this for more experienced users.

The aroma has to be first on the list here as I find it’s the most unique aspect to this strain; yielding a rounded, earthy presence similar to mud or wet clay. This is backed up by your traditional Kush terpenes of skunk, coffee, musk and a pleasant backend... of minted citrus. Together, these aromas and flavours embody everything an old school Kush should and Major Q cut no corners here.
The whole bag arrived bricked up like my 9yr old self watching Janet Jacksons tiddy fall out during the Super Bowl halftime of ‘04. Buds gripping to each other with a tape-like adhesive quality thanks to the bountiful resin glands that adorn this batch, there was a great deal of care taken with cultivation and this all is shown in the final product. I would put this up against any of the exotics I’ve been trying lately.
Absolutely no time is wasted between the exhale and onset of effects as this is potent flower is not for the faint of heart; primarily taking form as a sedative and weighted buzz that sits iron-heavy on the body. Earth and Kush flavours taint the tastebuds long after smoking as your mind is decompressed into the simplest form of thought process and motor functions all grind to a halt. Highly recommended for experienced users looking to treat insomnia or those looking to forget about life for a while.

Shermurrda Triangle Kush is an immediate showstopper right from the moment you open the bag with an explosive colour palette consisting of deep and rich colour variations. This visual display leaves you in a trance staring at the flower; conflicted as to wheth...er you should smoke or hold onto it forever. Toffee-like orange hairs weave their way around forest greens marbled with muted purples and blues, occasionally taking on more neon streaks of pink closer to the core.
The flower arrived in a well-groomed fashion, medium in size and representing an appropriate cure. Gaudy resin glands have tucked themselves within every nook and cranny of this batch, bringing a clingy and adhesive quality to the already dense bud structure. This brings a pull and snap texture which takes a good amount of effort before it gives, fighting your grinder at every damn twist. Skip your next arm workout.
Easily one of the most memorable representations of a lineage that we are all familiar with; boasting a gas, skunk and spice-forward concoction complimented with herbal, earth and citrus notes that truly hold their weight when burnt. An exceptionally terpene-filled transition of flavour brings with it potency levels off the charts - melting away the buildup of stress with every exhale. Weighed down, sluggish and snacky would accurately describe my experience with this powerhouse and I’m so excited to bring some more Major Q to this household for future reviews.

These medium to small sized buds carry a light sponge texture that gives off more of a pull-and-snap feel when breaking down. While not particularly sticky, the density and humidity content are on point and don that desirable kinetic sand feel in the grinder; ...holding together and burning exceptionally clean. The colour variation from vibrant purple to deep sea blue stands out in contrast to the neon orange hairs that decorate the surface; together catching the eye and maintaining a strong bag appeal.
Flavours and aromas were consistent here, being primarily driven with a strong Welches grape juice and a heavy musk overhang. These two drivers are complimented by an herb / mint, skunk and “breath” backend from the Mendo lineage giving more complexity to both taste and scent. Effects have a quick onset and arrive in a pleasant fashion; blanketing the body in feelings that mimic a deep stretch in your bed with nothing but bed sheets. Just pure bliss. Well suited for daytime use due to its focused and potent nature that doesn’t inhibit your motor skills to the extent of other cultivars.

Bud texture borders the line between sticky and greasy, somehow being extreme on both sides. When handling, the flower is firm and dense which lends a very snappy texture; with the outside leaving an almost wet and oily residue on your fingers. Closer to the c...enter is where things get a little more akin to, say, duct tape? Buds will grip onto your fingers for days, which has me dreaming about what some Scoops hash would be like. shivers
Delivering one of the cleanest and freshest profiles I have ever come across, Scoops dons a primarily creamy aroma. Scents of vanilla, baked goods and cookie dough are complimented by citrus notes that lean more towards orange, with hints of toasted nuts or almond butter. All this is supported with a skunk and gas backend that really takes over when you ignite, alerting everyone within a 500m radius that you are indeed, smoking that loud. I specifically recall a group of bikers telling each other to look out for the skunk when I was smoking this in the forest next to the path not even a week ago.
A cascade of effects that range from mental to physical slowly fall onto the body after use. This satisfying warmth surrounds you like tucking yourself back into bed after getting up for a glass of water in the middle of the night, or hoping into a hot shower after waking up early. The synergy between subtle buzzing / warmth and the positive effects this flower has on my mood are what help to keep this in my top two of all time; being a one-two punch of delicious and potent medication that steals the show in every regard. Never enough positive things to say here that will do this flower justice but I sure as hell tried.
I am pretty sure I moaned audibly when I saw this flower for the first time and my gf made fun of me for it. Improving in all the areas you didn’t think could be improved but somehow are; led by an S-tier bag appeal. Two sizeable and robust colas make up the... 5g with no popcorn, shake, leaf or trim within a five mile radius. Tightly compacted and manicured like they hold their own center of gravity. A lot of the colour variation here is derived from waves of midnight blue that crest the bud like garland off a Christmas tree, allowing some purple to peak through near the crown.
The overpopulation of resin glands on the surface of this bud proved a real challenge to photograph, dodging my line of focus more so than last time. Oil-spill texture when handling, sappy, sticky and tacky upon breaking down; really amplifying the already pungent aroma that is strongly driven by overripe fruit, citrus and gasoline with musk and spice in the back seat.
Milky, thick clouds are a direct result of the compacted bud structure that still manages to combust fully without harshness; releasing what can only be described as an onslaught of flavour that will bless your tastebuds. That berry / gas exhale is followed promptly with strong effects that uplift your mood and help to clear the cobwebs inside your head. The heady and energetic feel this flower provides made it a solid choice for morning or early day smokes as it provides a strong angle for medication without being too sedative.
