With no shortage of flavour-forward Cookie genetics that saturate our market, growers really have to dial in their process in order to churn out popular cuts that stand out. This is partially why I have avoided Gelato; while I have historically a...ppreciated these creamy and fruity profiles, I found the medical effects to be lacking and not as pronounced as I’d like. It takes a special grow to grab my attention and I’m happy to say this batch was the exception.

These sizeable, beefy colas are adorned with an abundance of milky resin glands that remained intact after travel and help provide adhesive qualities to an already perfectly cured flower. What lays tucked beneath is a conflicting colour palette of sharp lime and nuclear greens in contrast with vibrant purples and blues - all separated with the most fiery orange pistils I’ve seen in a long time. A well manicured trim cements this S-tier bag appeal as a personal favourite from @.

Predominantly creamy, and earthy aromas surround the bud and only get more pungent and skunky as you break it down. She very much borrows those traditional sweet berry and citrus peel terps from the Sunset lineage that help round out and give a more defined profile, for any flavour chasers out there.

What ensues is a mild and innocuous smoke that brings with it unexpected levels of potency. I would categorize the effects of this Gelato as a more daytime, social interaction and creativity / mood booster with a large emphasis on the “heady” feeling. Not much in the way of body effects here, and that’s okay because this cannabis certainly has its place. Higher doses can easily lead to uncomfortable, foggy sensations that scramble the brain, so use with moderation. That being said, I would recommend this for novice and experienced users alike.

Ghost Bubba takes the stand as a formidable, Indica-ridden heavyweight that carries all the qualities of your favourite knockouts compounded into one badass cultivar. Being a close derivative to OG Kush, intense flavours of wet coffee grounds, earthy dankness and a trail of hash and spice accompany ...dry pulls of a freshly rolled joint. These flavours work hand in hand with the hefty floral, sweet pine and fresh gasoline aromas that bellow from your grinder like a damn wounded animal. Truly a concoction fit for any indica snob and this a clear representation of both Kush and Bubba genetics respectively.

Hues of purple and a deep, rich indigo contribute highly to this visual spectacle of flower cultivation, with a varying colour palette that seems to have just a bit of everything. Deep but muted blues decorate some of the outer leaves while the variations from forest to lime greens serve as the foundation for the overall appearance. Thick resin glands blanket the entire batch in abundance and deliver pleasant adhesive qualities to this Ghost Bubba, sticking to your fingers as you break them down and giving your grinder a run for its money.

A relatively smooth exhale is backed by a flavourful smoke that leaves your mouth tingling with a gassy medley of terpenes. Quickly to rush behind the eyes, the tops of my limbs and all throughout my legs could feel the initial kick that slowly works itself into a robust and full-bodied high that keeps you simultaneously floating while glued to the couch. This was very much appreciated for late night gaming sessions or de-stressing from the hectic nature of work, offering substantial levels of medication with relatively small amounts needed. Very highly recommended for tolerant users, late afternoons and evenings only.

Fruity Pebbles ? Trix

Initial bag appeal and reactions were overwhelmingly positive with the only gripe being that these arrived in medium to small buds and I would probably like to see that reflected in the site descriptions (no changes on prices necessary, I think some just appreciate ...the transparency). However this is ultimately minuscule as you quickly realize these little guys are d-e-n-s-e. I’m talking denser than your racist uncle at family dinners, buds condensed like a can of carnations milk that will go toe to toe with any raggedy grinder that feels bold enough to loose some teeth.

The aroma is something really special here because while I enjoyed the MAC1 and gave it the highest accolades, the terpenes in this cross alone almost brought it to craft quality levels. I couldn’t believe how vibrant and lively the flavours were on dry pulls off a freshly rolled joint, consisting of fresh summer berries sitting in a bath of 35% heavy cream along with that twist of funk trailing behind. This is translated with near perfect clarity during the smoke, which leaves your throat and tongue tasting exactly the same on each exhale -and long after.

Effects mirror MAC1 in the sense that I would highly, highly recommend this for medical users who need elevated levels of potency early in the day without the clouded head, drowsiness or general discombobulation. This cultivar has a very positive effect on my mood shortly after using, with a big emphasis on the clean and uplifting qualities Milk and Cereal carries. Body buzzes and positive thoughts working in complete harmony to keep me a happy human being during some darker times. Big stamp of approval here.

The entire quarter came pillow cured due to the massive consolidation of resin glands that don the four main crowns. This contributes to a slow burn that requires joints to be rolled a little looser to allow for full combustion, but this wasn’t much of a problem for me as I use bongs most of the t...ime. What colours lay tucked beneath the trichomes vary from black, blue and purple to all shades of green; putting forth a stunning display of anthocyanin production that makes handling the flower a real experience.

These dense buds slowly snap and pull apart, with Velcro-like adhesive qualities to pave way for an aggressive, and complex blast of aromas that vary from your hallmark Kush fragrances like pine and skunk, to sharp diesel, fresh coffee grounds, musk or wet wood and tapering hints of lemon. These terpenes are enough to bore even dirty glassware (although not recommended) and just tantalize the tastebuds during a joint, while building a thick resin ring shortly into the session. Flavours linger long after the exhale and serve as a reminder to me that I’m very lucky to consume such high quality medicine at such convenience ??

This is a serious treat for anyone who appreciates a knockout, couchlock or wheelchair stone as effects arrive quickly and leave you completely debilitated. I’m talking munchies until your stomach hurts, falling asleep in weird places type buzz that just sits like a vibrating weighted blanket and leaves your brain in a temporary liquid state. This Black Gas was perfect for evening to night use and is recommended for experienced users only.

While I’ve indulged in both of the precursors to this cultivar, I haven’t sourced Slurricane prior to this and it really was a unique experience to see the lineage of each parent expressed in perfect harmony. Irresistible creamy, nutty aromas mingle with sweet plum and blueberry - all backed by ...heavy skunk undertones that just permeate your clothes after smoking. Huge emphasis on the full bodied set of terpenes present, this one was set to please any flavour chasers out there with a pleasant translation to a tart, pepper / skunk exhale.

Visually these buds are a showstopper, boasting high levels of trichome concentration close to a center dominated with nuclear lime greens. The faintly present purple outer leaves work hard with sparse mocha pistils to make their presence known beneath the borderline snowfall that coats the surface. While these buds didn’t arrive necessarily sticky, two days with an integra brought it right up to par with the other quads in my stash and now the buds hold a definite grip.

If you were lucky enough to grab some during the 420 sale then you understand what I mean when I say this stuff kicks like a mule. Well above average potency levels that keeps the body flush with a clean and productive stone that doesn’t bring a head fog or crash. I’d argue this one could work any time of the day and be enjoyed by all users alike, with dosage in mind.

Smaller, more aggressive foxtails decorate the length of the flower similar to the shape of a cartoon Christmas tree - coming together to form a singular crown at the apex, “reaching out” if you will. The overall density of this flower will prove a formidable grinder foe, with a sticky and greas...y texture just oozing with essential oils. Seriously, these heads are fucking packed to the brim and garnish even the sugar leaves left behind from a beautiful hand trim. A healthy presence of vibrant orange pistils speaks to the level of care that this plant received every step of the way and they do a great job at separating the varying shades of greens as we don’t see much anthocyanin production here (and that’s just fine).

A complete and robust set of terpenes that speaks volumes is undeniably present and isn’t particularly dominated by one aroma; but by many, all individually expressed to their fullest. I’ll start with the notable saccharine side of this powerhouse, lending a balance to the more contentious odours of sharp gasoline, musk and spice. Similar to some pink crosses, this batch carries sweet, candy and floral notes that simply can’t be resisted in unison with the more pungent Kush fragrances. All of these come together as a mouth tingling sensation that will have you practically salivating off a dry pull from your joint that was so sticky it rolled itself.

Pink Azul bridges the gap between aroma and flavour with terpenes so present they are practically yelling at you. Every complex scent is translated to taste in perfect harmony with a smooth smoke that brings with it potency levels not to be taken lightly. Starting as a euphoric brush behind the eyes and on the tops of my limbs, the background noise of pleasantry slowly built itself into a crescendo of intoxication that could be felt at every level of my being, physical and mental. This was truly appreciated as someone who has a higher tolerance than most.

As it stands, there aren’t many people not growing a respectable cut of MAC1; this is in part due to the selective sharing process from elusive breeder Capulator and while the origins of this strain vary from source to source - one thing that can’t be disputed is how well these genetics have bee...n received by the community. For those who have had MAC, this is the successful sequel that actually helps to further the story as opposed to milking a quality series for money (looking at you, Godfather III). Both of my experiences with this strain ring familiar bells but it was evident that this particular batch hit slightly above in all categories and works as a perfect medium for salads.

These football shaped buds flaunt absurd levels of trichome coverage that blanket the varying hues of bright greens and occasional shade of purple / dark blue. Completely dusted from top to bottom while broken trichome heads fall off like you’re handling a generously powdered doughnut, so much so that the kief catcher in your grinder will write you a personal thank you letter the next day. This batch of MAC1 produced dense, sticky buds that require a little effort to break down; they carry an obnoxiously potent aroma dominated by overripe fruits, sour citrus, burnt rubber and enough of a skunky kush presence to tie it all together.

A truly mesmerizing concoction of terpenes that will bore through even dirty glassware are enough to understand why this particular cultivar is community favourite, but the effects are where MAC1 cements itself as a cult classic. Medical patients and recreational users alike can come together to appreciate the one-two punch of effects this strain has to offer, albeit novice tokers should take caution. Well above average potency levels propel users into a euphoric, trance-like state with uplifting yet highly sedating medicinal properties, making it a preference for daytime use.

Blackberry Breath was generously introduced to our market via collaborative effort between industry titans @joftheislands and @gromerjuana and while it hasn’t entirely cemented itself a spot amongst more “hype” genetics in our ?? community (see: PBB), its journey is far from over. Bridging the... best of two entirely different sets of terpene profiles, you have the hereditary sweet berries and cereal milk aroma that comes with Blackberry Kush amalgamated with the signature “breath” funk / gas to bring a well rounded table of fragrance that is intoxicating to novice and experienced users alike.

Superlative bag appeal that consists of varying shades of jaded greens and blues, encompassed by a blanket of trichs and orange pistils. With this batch, closer to the center you’re left with a more lime green that’s covered in trichome heads aplenty. Breaking down this flower really gives a chance for the terpenes to express themselves, coming together with more clarity to give off the nostalgic aroma of fruit loops with an underlying skunk.

A flavourful, creamy and inoffensive smoke leads users into a more fervent and warming mind state that’s backed up with slightly above average potency levels and this is appropriately reflected in the AAAA- rating. These focused and clean effects are something to really be appreciated at most times of the day; evenings excluded as something more sedating is preferred. A very pleasant first experience with a new cultivar, so big thanks to OneTwoTreez for keeping a nice variety on the lineup!

Visually represented to the fullest degree, these dense, modest sized buds are completely caked out head to toe. A stunning display of anthocyanin production has tucked itself beneath the high levels of trichome concentration, peppered with the occasional orange pistil. While not particularly sticky..., these buds sport a healthy and well-timed cure that leaves them firm, not crispy or snappy.

This Pink Cake leaves a beautiful salad of colours in your grinder that carry a pungent gassy, citrus and floral aroma with hints of pepper and mint - something slightly new to me that added a layer of depth to the traditional Pinks I’m used to. A 100% translation of terpenes from aroma to flavour is what helps to cement this as my favourite Pink cross to date, with those complex funky citrus notes from Weeding Cake thrown into an already intoxicating mix of flora and pure gasoline.

As with everything from OneTwoTreez this round, potency is absolutely off the charts with this falling into the category of a knockout / one-hitter-quitter because I can barely keep my eyes open off this. A well packed bowl is enough to catapult a novice through the fabrics of time and space itself, so proceed with caution as this is intended for experienced users. Well deserving of it’s quad status.

After watching this strain carve out a spot for itself in our market it was finally time to get my hands on these gromer genetics. These foxtailed beauties were cultivated with care as they are dressed with high levels of trichome concentration, enough so to dust the inside of the jar like a cinnamo...n sugar doughnut. A “snappy” cure leaves us with a crisp exterior that carries more adhesive qualities near the center.

Trademark PBB aromas hit instantly with a dominant nutty aroma that was pursued with hints of pine and a slight funk. My personal opinions on this are divided; while I do normally welcome alternative terpene profiles, I’m not sure this one aligned with my personal preferences as much as I would have liked. That being said, I have a deep appreciation for the variety of expressions this plant has to offer and aroma is only one category to judge flower with.

My personal interpretation of the smoke parallels my opinions on the aroma, with a solid translation of flavours that deliver a terpene-filled punch with every inhale (despite not being my favourite). I can say, however that the effects were a much more pleasant experience with genuine feelings of euphoria and clean vibrations all throughout your body. This could get “heady” at higher doses but was greatly appreciated in moderation as a daytime smoke that maintained productivity while delivering high levels of quality medication.
