Arriving fresh and in medium sized fashion, these buds don a complex colour palette that encompasses bright / pale, to dark / saturated greens as well as purple hues that vary in presence. Some of these purples work their way into a midnight blue, almost black... at times; but remain the most vibrant and saturated near the center when the flower is split open. Pale, orange creamsicle-like hairs have a heavy presence here and offer even further colour variation. Truly a spectacle to look at and another one of those buds that make you feel guilty for breaking it down.
I can’t imagine this batch being much less than a few weeks old as the texture here is nothing short of perfection; buds are dense, sticky, greasy, oily without too much humidity. This helps the flower to combust with ease and give off an overly pungent translation of aroma to flavour, making itself known and comfortable on your palate immediately after your first draw. A layered profile of so many things that include but are not limited to: roasted garlic, toasted sesame seeds, raw sweet onion, burnt rubber, mothballs, diesel fuel and lingering hints of pine / spice. Flavour city.
The positive review doesn’t stop here, as effects have a quick and heavy presence that really has a tendency to keep your eyes low and your mouth grinning. That stupid little smile you get when you smoke something so good you can’t help but look cheeky. A full, robust experience that helps with relaxation - mental and physical, with strong narcotic effects and a weighted blanket feel best kept for evenings and preferably for experienced users.

Mandalorian was the most appealing of the bunch, grabbing your eyes before the others due to her strong anthocyanin presence however all that glitters is not gold. I’m not sure what I was expecting at first, but the aroma came off very muted and further insp...ection of the bud shows a disturbing lack of trichome glands - both outside and inside the flower itself.
Breaking her down reveals a stunning colour palate dominated by shades of purple that run both saturated and pale at times, and it reveals a bit more of the terpene profile. This batch in particular carries an aroma very similar to Black Diamond: a dry red wine complimented by light skunk, earth and herbal notes however a little more pungent here, with the added hint of ammonia.
The smoke came off a little scratchy, but nothing overly offensive and lacked flavour ultimately. I was met with a very pleasant buzz that uplifted my mood and kept my body vibrating, which did not last very long unfortunately. I found myself reaching for something a little stronger to get me through the day and feel this strain would be an appropriate AAA contender. I’m not bothered with their $140oz tag, it seems reasonable.
Buds arrived tightly manicured in medium-large fashion, stout and dense in texture. The heavy trichome gland coverage, close trim and bud shape strongly resemble product from Cincopax or BubbaKings in appearance - with the odd variation in colour that seldom s...trays from dark, forest and mossy greens. On the surface, a minimal presence of compacted pale hairs decorates the more stripped shades of blue that almost appear black at times. Closer to the center however you’re met with a much more vibrant palette of lime green and purple; speckled with some of the fattest heads I’ve seen in a minute.
The cure, texture and gland coverage grant a difficult, slow peel-and-snap texture that will have buds gripping your fingers - leaving a residue that has an oily yet adhesive consistency. Another challenge to break down here as the buds really didn’t want to give at first, fighting for dear life against the teeth of my grinder like they were Luke, Leia and Chewy fighting the trash compactor in A New Hope. Your end result is a moon sand consistency that holds shape when rolled around, or pinched; making rolling an easy task with little loose debris.
This is where the bud really shines, and yes I’m a little bias towards these types of sweet, gassy profiles - so take this as you may, but I would smoke this forever. The bud itself carries a layered aroma that includes candied gasoline, skunk, fresh cracked pepper and hints of citrus that are balanced by a truly fresh herb / minty profile. It’s this combination (mint and herb aside) that reminds me so much of Ice Cream Cake and is partially why I am so fond of this cultivar; those flavours all come through in perfect harmony and remain lingering in your mouth & throat due to their pungent nature.
Finding the perfect balance between functional and complete train wreck, a single bowl is all that’s needed to take you to a better place while still maintaining the necessary focus and cognitive abilities required to function like a normal human, and get things done. The cooperation between serious body effects and a relaxed mindset that wasn’t shutting down due to sedation really puts this flower in high regard for me. I’d recommend this for anyone really so long as you’re mindful of dosage.

Starting with the most intriguing part of this flower would certainly be the bud structure, somehow teetering the line between wispy and dense; with an overall firmness but “holed” like Swiss cheese almost. Despite this, the one beefy cola I had purchased ...impressively clocked in at around 5g. Nothing bad can be said about the cure as the exterior holds crisp opposed to the interior which is greasy, sticky and oily to the touch - lending a quick peel and snap texture that will leave remnants stuck to your fingers and between the teeth of your grinder.
The aroma here is so concentrated and present that you could probably use these terpenes to degrease the engine bay of your vehicle, I’m serious. The over-the-top lemon pine-sol scent is complimented by Kush / skunk notes and a strong peppery spice, giving this flower a very forward and aggressive palate that tastes just as it smells; like downing a glass of house cleaner.
As to be expected with medicine this pungent, effects come heavy-handed and in abundance, beginning with a vibrating feeling in your limbs that eventually mellows out into a full body experience with a noticeable change in your state of mind. Cerebral, uplifting, energetic, creative and hazy all help to describe the type of feeling this medication has on your brain - with the effects bearing the namesake appropriately. While this does give you energy and is generally uplifting, at higher doses you become misguided and unfocused, eventually leading into a crash. I very much prefer some of this over a cup of coffee in the morning. Users should proceed with extreme caution.

Buds arrived on the medium to small side, stout and conic in shape with minor foxtails breaking through near the top of colas. A beautiful display of royal purple has woven its way throughout the saturated forest greens, taking over the majority of the surface... area on some of the smaller buds. Sticky and adhesive with oily qualities: this flower dons some extremely generous resin glands that are present in extreme concentration - even on the outside. Lots of intact heads. This batch is definitely a slow peel and stick when breaking down, no snap and will definitely get stuck in your grinder teeth if you aren’t using a good piece. Scissor busting? You’re SOL.
Caryophyllene and Linalool seem to be the main drivers here as the terpene profile for Pink Beard largely lends itself to the classic Kush notes of peppery spice, earth, wet wood and floral hints with a very prominent skunk undertone. However, there’s an added twist of candied pine and freshly ground coffee that just fully rounds out this cultivar which expresses everything we love and ask for with a high quality indica strain. These aromas are pungent in their own right, but just completely offend your nostrils when ground up and users will have a hard time concealing the smell before, during or after smoking.
Absolutely no time is wasted before a grease ring pulls up and sits right underneath your ember, slowly building with every drag. The only harshness comes from the pungent terpene profile that numbs your lips and mouth; otherwise giving you a slow, clean and flavourful burn. Effects start within seconds as your brain gets hit with extremely high levels of cannanbanoids, building heavy behind the eyes and melting your thoughts. This head rush worked its way into a cement-like feeling similar to being under a weighted blanket, or frozen in carbonite. Motivation grinds to a halt and melatonin production begins to kick in as this flower remains one of the most sedative cultivars to have blessed this stash and will be on my list for the future.

You’re first greeted a with short, stalky and almost round bud structure that is loosely guarded by sugar leaf and other remnants of a careful hand trim. Vibrant and nuclear greens completely dominate the colour palette outside of the rich mocha hairs, alth...ough a few places it genuinely feels like the flower has started to adopt darker tints. Adhesive would be an understatement here, and Velcro almost an insult; this stuff was welded shut together similar to MAC1 and requires pliers to snap apart - rendering into a kinetic sand texture once ground that holds its shape when pinched.
With every step into the session bringing a deeper layer of appreciation for this flower, the smoke really stood out to me here because I truly expected it to be a little on the harsher side but was pleasantly surprised. While not entirely smooth, this pungent and terpene-filled exhale lingers long on the tongue with flavours of fuel, earth and mint - backed with the unmistakeable tartness of rhubarb. Just like taking a hit of good hash, or something a little more potent - your brain almost can’t keep up with the signals it has just been given to produce chemicals, so you’re just left to shake, cough, drool and sniffle until things settle back down again.
After the initial rush subsides, your ears stop ringing and your vision gets clear again, there’s a noticeable build in the face / cheeks that eventually creeps its way behind your eyes and down into your body. Strong vibrational effects keep you buzzing throughout all your limbs while unconsciously clenching and unclenching your jaw; this flower completely decimates me. A hybrid that leans heavy into the narcotic side, but still feels clean enough not to get drowsy and still hits like a train. Boys we have a clear winner here. Users should proceed with extreme caution.

Being my favourite from the Volume 2 drop, Cereal Milk is a reoccurring strain on the OneTwo menu and this is definitely a trend I would like to see continued. This cultivar resembles MAC1 with enough parallels that I can’t always pick a favourite between t...he two; given they’re both cultivated with care. Signature characteristics include a flower density so great, this quarter takes up about only half the space as other flower in my stash. This density combined with the bountiful presence of resin glands, lends a tense and “snappy” texture when breaking the bud down, sticking to your fingers and spreading an oily texture throughout.
Bright greens and lesser common forest greens dominate the visuals here, both blanketed with a healthy amount of trichome heads and stalks, with many of the other glands still being intact. Splitting the flower open however reveals a completely different story with damn near every single stalk holding a fat, plump and juicy pocket of essential oil - reflecting light like water.
While MAC1 hits a little harder on the rotten, sour fruit notes, the aroma with Cereal Milk (aptly named) is more creamy, nutty and rounded while still carrying the aggressive fruit terpene profile. This noticeably pungent flower gets even more intrusive as you break it down; leaving a fluffy but still connected mass just blowing stanky goodness all over the place, holding together tightly with a pinch - like moon sand. All of these scents translate into flavour with near 100% efficiency, giving you a lip-smacking exhale of tart fruit, diesel, and a smooth creamy / musk backend.
There is very little, if any time between the release of smoke and onset of effects as this is a complete powerhouse that wastes no time sending you off. Coffee and five hour energy drinks could never compare to the uplifting, focused and creative juice that hybrid cultivars like this provide, which is why they’re such a staple in my stash and feel they should be on the menu at OneTwo as well. I know the market mostly demands Indica, but the medicinal benefits and real life applications (aside from getting high as giraffe nuts) are plentiful and appreciated by most frequent users I know. Recommended for experienced smokers, very potent.

Otherworldly, alien, and galactic would be apt descriptors here when talking about the visual aspect of this bud. Anthocyanin production has taken things into its own hands as there is very little, if any, green to keep your eyes occupied. Hues of purple, blue... and black are laden with trichomes at every corner much like their Khalifa Mints for those who have had it and really act as a nice luxardo cherry on top of this exotic sundae. This is the type of flower you show to your friends, or to that special person you’re trying to impress as the S-tier bag appeal isn’t the only thing this bud has going for it.
Unmistakable hints of fruit are present, like peaches or white pears that are backed up with diesel undertones and a musk finish. It’s also worth noting the more peculiar aroma of freshly baked bread or wet limestone - almost identical to champagne - tying everything together like you have just dropped a handful of fuzzy peaches in a glass of bubbly. The two recognizable flavours on the exhale would have be the sour fruit and diesel notes that tingle your tastebuds and have a tendency to linger. Headwater really has a knack for growing clean medicine that carries a terpene profile so absurdly pungent and/or unique between this and the Khalifa Mints.
This is a strain that will surely please everyone effect-wise, and can be consumed any time of any day; part of why I’m so fond of this particular flower. The feelings that wash over you after a session could be described as nothing other than pure bliss, as shoulder-melting and muscle-relaxing waves of positive energy just radiate through your mind and body. While not overwhelmingly potent, I fell in love here because of “the way” it affects me as opposed to “what extent” and really have to give my hats off to headwater here for just absolutely killing my first two impressions of their work. Pungent and terpene-filled medicine.
Now this is not to say that this cultivar was a unpleasant smoke or poor medicine by any means, but I personally feel an AAAA- rating would have served a more appropriate approach given the muted terpene profile and effects. I only say this because it is suppo...sed to be a feature cultivar on a lineup with an “exotic” theme; the bar was set pretty high here and fresh off the heels of Oreoz, I couldn’t help myself from thinking this one came up a little short. Retroactively thinking back to their MAC1, Gelato and LA Cake Pop also helps to support my opinion here as those cultivars truly did meet my exotic expectations.
What comes through via aromatics is much more noticeable when the flower is broken down; preferably fresh in your grinder. You’re met with pleasant, creamy and nutty notes that are complimented with bitter orange zest and a slight musk / funk twist at the end. Definitely strong enough to surpass the AAA threshold, and is still noticeable in my opinion. A few really positive aspects here are the cure and the burn; with the flower carrying a perfect humidity to crack and snap apart, blowing trichome dust everywhere while still gripping to your fingers. Easy exhale with no reported harshness.
While tame, you’re met with a very uplifting buzz that starts first in your mood with clean, good vibes that slowly build into a more robust body high. While it is labeled an indica, I wasn’t getting too much of the narcotic, sedative effects unless I moved into higher doses. So ironically this strain has become a solid morning smoke that’s been adopted into my routine as a way to get my mind right for the day without completely sending myself off the rails. This one would be recommended to more novice users (gf loved it), but still very much has its place for heavier users - just maybe at a more transparent rating for those who smoke often.

With outright obese resin glands being the main visual driver, modest foxtails, healthy orange hairs and jaded blue sugar leaves act as passengers in this 4-seater driving straight into a garlic sunset. The cure is impeccable, buds are oily and sticky that bri...ng with them no noticeable harshness when burned as well as translating that signature GMO funk into a tasty and rewarding smoke.
There is a deep level of complexity here as users may be familiar with the garlic / musk - driven aroma that usually comes with GMO, but here you’re able to pick up hints of burnt rubber, mothballs, spice and pepper; something that’s almost reminiscent of teriyaki sauce in a way. The overhang of musk is really prominent here and reminds me so much of going into an unfinished basement with cold concrete floors and walls, perhaps one filled with old cardboard storage boxes. Or opening an old book; the particular smell that comes with paper too accustomed with time itself.
Not much around that smokes smoother in my opinion, with the exception of Khalifa Mints. This stuff is flavourful on the palate, a breeze in the lungs and really heavy on the effects - so it’s easy to see why she’s making waves as one of the best representations of GMO we have available on our market. Without playing too much into the sedative side, this flower has proven itself to be a potent daily driver that finds a way to compliment just about any situation with such inoffensive and pleasant effects. A clean, long lasting buzz that’s not debilitating is a necessity for my stash and although I would like to see some prior disclaimer from Vendors about bud size, I felt like this mostly measured up to the tag and you’d be silly not to try this at least once.
