Arriving as attractive medium-sized nugs, this balanced hybrid had a sweet, doughy aroma with hints of dank ear...th, though this batch of Gelato wasn’t as fragrant as others we’ve had. Arriving as a single 7.3g giant, this Lemon OG (Kush) was the largest nug we’ve received thus far, though the bud itself was fairly-dry and not overly fragrant as a result. This balanced hybrid was created by crossing *Lemon Skunk* x *OG #18*, resulting in a quick-hitting, invigorating-but-relaxin...g stone of moderate potency, characterized by its pleasantly-pungent fruity/skunky/earthy aroma. Leading with notes of dank citrus, this Lemon OG soon transitions into a spicy, slightly-herbal sweetness for the remainder of the enjoyable experience, with dry eyes and mild anxiety as possible adverse effects.

First time trying this strain, and it’s really nice! Smells amazing - I’d describe it as a fruity. light skunk with a sweet, pleasing pungency, and there’s a tangy, sour kick to its taste that I kinda I like. Bred by Vancouver’s Matteo Suleyman, Death Bubba (Death Star x Bubba Kush) is an indica-leaning hybrid highly sought out for its reliable potency and ideal sleep-inducing properties. This batch grown by the Air Cannabis Collective arrived as attractive, medium-to-large, well-cured nugs with a surp...risingly-fragrant aroma of pungent, sweet gas and fresh, earthy pine. Leading with its distinctively-zesty, earthy flavour, this Death Bubba eventually settles into a rich, musky sweetness for the remainder of the smooth, enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, this particular batch was less potent than is expected of this popular strain, offering slight euphoria before deep relaxation and delayed sedation, without adverse effects.

An eagerly-anticipated addition to our library, this Grapefruit grown by the Sacred Garden Collective was visually-impressive at first glance, offering an enticing-but-faint aroma of sour fruit. Leading with notes of creamy citrus, this well-cured Grapefruit quickly fades into an enjoyable, muted sw...eetness, yielding mild cerebral effects of below-average potency for this popular sativa. After a few sessions, we observed that premature seeds were nestled in multiple buds (shown at the site). In multiple vapes and at multiple temperature settings, we also observed low extraction, an issue possibly exacerbated by the ample leaf content in this batch.

Can’t comment on taste or potency yet (item arrived in an unsealed plastic jar without a humidity pack, so trying to give it a few days to normalize), but this Banana Punch has a really interesting/unique terp profile of candied ’rotten fruit’ and is already one of the smellier jars in our lib...rary.

As for Gastown/FCM, many craft growers/vendors take this same approach of building up hype for their usually-limited product, and rely on just their track record to keep collectors + strain hunters coming back (the avg MoM user isn’t really looking at these places). So I actually don’t disagree with you, but in these cases, you’d almost need to follow the growers’ IG updates + be very on the ball with drops to even get your hands on em.

Lastly, it’s still very early in our experiences with Gastown flower, but we’re impressed. Their Do-Si-Dos (BHO) came as 6g of small buds, 1g of actual popcorn and it’ll still end up being one of my favourites. The Mimosa will score very well, and if the Banana Punch is as potent as it smells, Gastown will have gone 3/3 so far.See More

This Gelato has a sweet, doughy aroma with hints of fruit/citrus, but it isn’t as fragrant or sweet in taste as some other batches we’ve enjoyed previously.
