? Bag Appeal: Classic WP jar, nugs are extremely dense. I grabbed a quarter, looked like an eigth. Trim is good, pretty colours, nothing else to really say.
?? Nose: Remember that pineapple-banana juice you used to get as a kid in juice boxes? Smells li...ke that. More like banana juice from concentrate, not a freshly peeled banana. I enjoy it a lot.
? Smoke: Lost and gained points on this one. Terps transferred over really well in both a paper, and my kinda dirty bong. Really came through on the exhale. Very flavourful. However the burn on ash is kind of dark. Raw paper was a little harsh. Listed as a -AAAA, so maybe this is the -?
? High: Very strong actually, with almost instant cerebral effects. Tapers off to a mellow body stone, not too much of a burnout.
Overall at 35 for the quarter, I’d have to say it’s a pretty decent buy. If you like really fruity terps, this is a good choice. Not a knockout strain by any means, this is definitely a solid choice for “on the go”.
My first time trying them after hearing much hype, and from what I can tell it’s some good bud.
? Bag appeal: while not quite a bag, the can appeal here is not the most impressive thing about the bud. It’s certainly squished, which is a negative fo...r me. However the shiny layer of trichomes brings it around. It’s sticky and dense.
?? Nose: Heavy on the Death Star, there’s a strong gassy/earthiness, with separate kush notes on the backend. If you were looking for a “kush” dominant terpene profile, I’d suggest maybe go with the pink they offer.
? Burn: Pretty middle of the road for the price point, even perhaps lower mid. Very dark ash in a Raw paper, as well as a smaller oil ring. Smoke is kind of rougher as well for the price point.
☁️ High: Heavy body stone, with a bit of a cerebral hit behind the eyes. It’s definitely a couch locker, and I’m laying down as I write this.
This was my first purchase of skookum, and while I will say it’s impressive bud, for the price point I would not make this a regular, or even repurchase. Maybe I would try a different strain in the future, but not right away. I used their first time deal for 20 off.
Overall in terms of quality: 8.1/10 Overall in terms of price: 7.2/10
? Bag appeal: you can see for yourself , purple and sparkly!
?? Nose: straight citrus grapefruit, with a very slight OG “kush” on the backend, that becomes more pronounced when you break open a nug. ... ? Burn: grey, nothing to speak of in either direction. Not jet black, not white.
☁️ High: Jesus Christ this is euphoria. I mainly smoke kush, or similar for that sedative body lock. This is completely a “head high” which for me, personally was a little too much. Definitely can get shit done, but if you’re anxiety prone I would stay away. If strong ass cerebral strains are your thing, this ones a good one.
My personal opinion?
I picked it up at $95 for the bag. If you want a cerebral high, I’d suggest this. If you want to go to bed, don’t.
Overall, I’d rate this a 6.5/10 in terms of quality on a quad scale, and 7.9/10 in terms of value.
Got this as a half ounce for 60, and was labelled as a limited sale. I always buy heavy gas and cake strains that put you out. This was purchased with the intent to smoke during the day.
? Packaging: split into 7’s to fit into two jars. They...re labeled. Cool.
? bag appeal: nice medium size nugs, supremely frosty with nice dark leaves and vibrant orange hairs. You can tell it’s sticky and not dry just from sight.
?? nose: actually smells a bit like peanut butter. Not Kraft, but that organic stuff that has the oil on top you need to separate every time. Really weird. Not bad weird, just weird how a plant smells like food. Of course it’s got the rockstar on the back end, but it’s a predominantly nutty smell.
? Burn: ash that’s pure as the driven snow.
☁️ High: interesting hybrid high. Not to much in any one direction. Certainly wasn’t stuck to the couch, but neither did I feel “racy”. I think this is what you normal people smoke during the day. I work night shifts.
Overall value in terms of price: 6.8/10
Overall value in terms of quality: 8/10
Very visually appealing, and if you are looking for a more “mild” stone, where you still have some cognitive function - this may be for you!
Got this as an ounce for 100, and I gotta say it’s fantastic for the price.
Packaging: Came packaged in non-resealable plastic, not Mylar. I have to rehouse it.
? Bag appeal: sparkly, great green and purple colouring, alt...hough a little dry. A small concession to make for the pricing.
?? nose: straight OG kush terps. That lemon/pine/gas you know and love.
? burn: clean mostly white ash, in both joint and bong. Fat oil ring on the joint.
☁️ high: the joint went out multiple times. Not because the weed sucks, but because it kicked in so hard and fast I kept forgetting I was smoking. Serious “whoa” factor, and I’m a heavy kush guy. This it what I wanted.
Overall for quality: 7.5/10
Overall for value: 9/10
This was my first order from WP and I will be returning.
Soooo, I made a post a while back looking for quads/quad smalls in the 160$ range and people pointed me to onlygas.
Here is one of the tops from their grow, and unfortunately not one part of that bud tastes like anything other than cut grass.
It looks amazing, smells great in... the bag, and then I inhale the smoke and I’m immediately reminded of 7 am Sunday morning when your next door neighbour thinks it’s a good time to change his lawn from 4inches to 2.5.
I wish I could say this was a great buy, but this beautiful bud is currently decarbing for edibles - because that’s what you do with the scraps.
Was Looking for this for a while. Absolutely love this strain, and it was embodied perfectly here.
Nose: if you know, you know. If you don’t, this here smells just like grapefruit juice. Like, near exactly. I keep going back to smell it.
Bag appeal: like smoke on the water,... this is deep purple. Trichomes blanket this bud like dew on a spring morning. With a flash on the camera you can see it come alive. Trust me, that translates to the intensity of it later on. The bud structure is quite fluffy and scraggly, from what I remember that’s pretty accurate. Dry, but once again I think that’s a week in CP.
Smoke: flavourful, and smooth. I never thought I’d be a big fan of smoking a glass of juice, but here it is. Excellent.
Ash: pure as the driven snow ❄️ absolutely white, with the bar minimum of black ash.
High: intense, euphoric, and long lasting. This is in my top 10 for a reason. Good for the day I find, rather than sleep.
Customer service: Franklin is great. Patient fair and understanding! Would recommend.
9.5/10 on the quad scale , would absolutely recommend.
So my first time having a PDB that I actually enjoyed!
Nose: very much like a nice juice, maybe fruit punch? Upon opening the bag I was like “wow that’s what it was supposed to smell like this whole time!”.
Bag appeal: only got 7, but the buds are all very nice and fluf...fy. Bit dry but probably that’s from sitting with CP for a week. You can see the resinous trichomes just waiting to be activated. Super bright orange hairs pop, while a solid background of violet and green bring it all together.
Smoke: smooth!! Like really!! And the flavor translates well through a bong, almost a perfect match of the nose. I’m impressed.
Ash: salt and pepper, nothing alarming and nothing impressive there. I have no other comments.
High: definitely a creeper, and definitely powerful. I wasn’t sure which one made me take a nap yesterday, as I had both - but now I know. Starts off solid in the body and slides it’s way up your spine to finally wrap around and kiss you on your forehead to say goodnight. Yea like I said, creeper. ?
Customer service: Franklin is a very patient and understanding dude and was a pleasure to deal with! Would recommend.
Overall I am thoroughly impressed with this strain, the growers over at OG higher beings know their stuff. This would for sure be a pick up again.
I’d rate this a solid 9/10 on the quad scale. It’s not even 2pm and I think it’ll be nap time soon.
So I know it’s December already, I got this late November and wanted to smoke it first.
Once again MajorQuadFarms doesn’t miss with the Kush.
Smell: right out the bag you’re greeted with that classic “fire weed” smell you might remember from that one time you got it... from that one dude, and never saw it again. It’s just a perfect mix of pine, spice, and DANK. I find myself smelling the bag over and over.
Bag appeal: caked in crystal, bright green hues and aggressive orange hairs.
Consistency: I got the smalls, so they were dense little balls with some decent moisture to them. Kind of makes that “ripping” sound when you pull it apart
Smoke: not harsh. Flavor translates well in bong or joint. Ash burnt mostly white in a joint as well, stayed lit.
High: pretty intense heavy indica stone. Wht you’d expect .
Rating:
8.5/10 overall on the quad scale. These guys don’t play.
