I've had my fair share of God and Pineapple crosses but never this particular cultivar, bringing together the likes of Pineapple Kush and God Bud. The nugs are extremely heavy and dense, requiring some effort to pry apart. Sticky and gooey, ...leaving the fingers coated with trichomes and desperately calling for the need of a grinder. Beautiful colour pallet that continues throughout the interior of the buds, displaying vibrant shades of green, purple, and orange. I did find two premature seeds overall which ultimately takes away some bag appeal along with the extra foliage.
This Pineapple God has a tropical leaning profile that is deliciously fruity and pungent as it goes back and forth between it's sweet qualities and pine, skunky qualities. It translates over to flavour but oddly enough is much more pronounced in a bong over a joint where it's flavours are more subtle. Tropical, pineapple nuances with undertones of skunk and pine on exhale, burning with a sizeable resin ring and leaving behind a light grey ash with minor peppering.
The high takes very little time to kick in, coming on in waves and increasing in strength over time. It feels very one dimensional at first as it completely resides in the head, offering a very stoney, euphoria induced buzz that leaves you feeling upbeat, cheerful, and noticeably talkative. It eventually begins to shift It's focus on the physical qualities it gently provides, bringing on a soothing, relaxed buzz that has it feeling like a very well rounded hybrid with minimal burn out.
This 70/30 sativa is an Ethos genetics creation that crosses the famed Forum Cut Cookies with Mandarin Sunset. Not the flashiest of cuts as this one arrived in mostly smaller sized nuggets and a less desirable bud structure. Olive green in colou...r, accented by peach hued pistils and dark green sugar leaf. Sticky and quite dense in structure, sporting a decent trim and many frosty crystals.
The profile is real refreshing as it produces delicious aromas that burst with terpenes. Loud, zesty notes of lemon citrus followed by peppery nuances. Very fragrant flower though unfortunately doesn't embody the same presence on exhale. Instead it's more subtle and less explosive, providing slight cookie flavours with hints of lemon and pepper. Burns smooth and oily, leaving behind a salt and pepper ash with a lighter ash center.
Definitely sativa leaning in effects as this one begins immediately with an uplifting, cerebral head high. A mood changer to say the least as it delivers a real motivated and peppy buzz, though it can still result in some spaciness. Ideal for daytime smoking as it leaves you attentive and engaged with little to no burnout as it's physical effects are minimal.
Been having my fair share of ICC'S lately and although this a lower rated cut, I would still consider it an overall good rendition of the strain especially when taking in the tag. The buds are very tightly trimmed, sporting a dense and compa...ct structure. Colourful and healthy looking in stature, portraying light greens and violet streaks, all accented by tiny orange hairs. Great trichome coverage as well which only adds to the stickiness, both inside and out. I did find one premature seed however which is it's only negative.
This Ice Cream Cake offers a combination of sweet and pungent scents as it brings together creamy, doughy aromas paired with notes of vanilla and dank earth. Fragrant to say the least, and perhaps just a little more gelato leaning but more so in the taste. Sweet and doughy flavours but also an introduction of a creamy, yet bitter citrus added to the mix. All finished by an earthy gelato exhale. The smoke is thick and heavy but still manages to remain smooth, burning slow and resinous with a salt and pepper ash.
The high plays out like an evenly balanced hybrid, producing a mix of both cerebral and physical effects. Very euphoric at first, providing uplifting tendencies that can easily spark up conversations with it's social nature before drifting off into more of a relaxed, subdued state. Great for a variety of activities as it's not overbearing but still potent enough to leave you content throughout it's entirety.
This would be my first time trying Runtz as I've only had Banana Runtz in the past. A cross of Zkittlez and Gelato, producing these very dense, compact nugs that are comprised of dark greens and purples, ...topped off with an arrangement of stout orange pistils and a greasy, trichome laden surface. Perfectly trimmed and cured, packing a sticky texture within that leaves the fingers clinging to one another.
A really dominant Gelato leaning nose on this Runtz but with an added twist. Creamy, doughy dessert aromas met with nuances of flowers, vanilla, and earth that become further noticeable upon prying a bud apart. The flavours are identical but literally reversed in how they play out. Starting with a floral, earthy taste that ends in a doughy, creamy gelato exhale. The burn is clean, smooth, and slow, offering a thick smoke and decent sized oil ring, followed by a light salt and pepper ash.
I found the high to be nice and potent, offering a finely tuned hybrid stone that is heavily euphoric and mood lifting. It's met with a very mellow, relaxed side to it halfway through that can lead to a little couch lock over time, making it a great strain for late afternoons and evenings when there isn't much that needs to be done except to chill and relax.
I've always wanted to try this strain ever since hearing about it as the combination of Blue Dream and Red Congolese sounds like quite the enjoyable daytime cross. A plump, semi dense bud structure that becomes denser towards the core, leavi...ng the texture soft on the outside and super sticky within. Mostly light green in colour, followed by a heavily populated forest of thick orange pistils and a frosty coating of trichomes. A few extra leaves here and there but an overall decent trim paired with a good cure.
The nose on this Blue Congo is basically red Congo with a blueberry twist and it's amazing. Sweet berries and herbs combined with aromatic spices and fresh pine. It offers similar flavours that seem to focus more on the herbal/pine/spice aspects, ending in a sweet, earthy exhale followed by subtle hints of berries. Joints burn to a salt and pepper ash and form a light oil ring from start to finish. Very smooth with zero harshness.
The high produced by this Blue Congo is very much sativa driven and offers a great stone for morning use. It instantly provides a certain mellowness to your day while simultaneously releasing any stress in the way with it's euphoric qualities. Although uplifting and completely functional in effects, this one still manages to produce a sense of serenity and relaxation due to the blue dream in it's lineage. Maybe not as potent as some of the other strains I'm reviewing from Weed Prime but it certainly gets the job done in keeping you medicated and productive.
Like all HSSH cuts I've come across, this batch sports a very dense, rock solid bud structure. Displaying a darker colour profile that consists of forest greens and copper orange pistils, followed by hints of purple throughout. Trimmed neatl...y as well, showing off it's healthy trichome coverage. Nice and sticky within as well, surely calling for the use of a grinder as it would take a while to break it down by hand.
An interesting terpene profile as there is a lot going on but it definitely is one of the better smelling/tasting cuts I've had of this strain. A sweet and sour blend of berries and herbs backed by delicate hints of fresh cherries. Maybe some citrus in there as well. The flavours are a little more on the herbal, sour, and spicy side but there are still sweet undertones that are noticed on exhale in the form of subtle cherry and citrus nuances. Super smooth, though the smoke is expansive and can catch you off guard at first, burning with a moderate sized oil ring and salt and pepper ash.
A very mentally focused high, beginning with uplifting and euphoric effects before settling down into more or a relaxed state. Real hybrid in nature as it offers a floaty, yet very forgiving couch lock that is the least bit debilitating. Overall a decent potentcy that seems perfectly suited for daytime smoking as it leaves you completely mellow and functional while still buzzing.
Decided to start off this round of reviews with Peanut Butter Rockstar, a delectable cross of Peanut Butter Breath x Rockstar. Stunning visuals on these dense, neatly manicured buds, displayi...ng vibrant shades of green and purple that perfectly intertwine with each other, further accentuated by clusters of bright orange hairs and a snowy blanket of frosty trichomes. The cure is on point, leaving the buds healthy and very sticky within.
The nose on this one brings a little bit of everything to the table, representing both parents through a combination of pungent earth and sharp gas, followed by some nuttiness and pine. It also gets sweeter after it's cracked open, providing a familiar dosidos inspired, cookie goodness. I found it to be quite Peanut Butter Breath dominant when it came to the smoke, offering dank flavours of earth and sweet pine that end in a kushy Rockstar exhale. Super smooth for how thick and milky the smoke is, burning with a greasy oil ring and light grey, almost all white ash.
Dominant indica leaning effects that are almost instantly noticed upon the first few tokes, feeling a calming wave of tranquility wash over both mind and body. Heavily relaxing and euphoric, bringing on a soothing, worry free couch lock that makes it a great strain to wind down with at night. Decently long lasting too and while it's not a knock out type of indica it certainly has the capability of leaving you burned out and lazy afterwards.
This would be my first time coming across the likes of this extremely intriguing cross of MeatBreath and Blackberry Kush bred by Jordan of the Islands. Th...e buds are very visually appealing, displaying a pale green complexion that is met with thin purple streaks and long, crazy orange hairs. The sugar leaves also display shades of dark purple and forest green that add to it's wild appearance. Semi dense with a soft, sticky texture that's topped off in a healthy amount of long stalked trichomes. I found a couple of seeds in one of the larger nugs but smoked around 2 grams prior and didn't run into any.
The profile on this Black Berry Breath seems to lean heavily towards it's Blackberry Kush lineage in the way it smells. Starts off with a very sweet, musky berry aroma that is reminiscent of wine, followed by floral, peppery undertones. Similar to strains I've had in the past with lavender influences to them as it's quite perfumey. It's flavours are rather comparable and also seem to embody the Blackberry genetics moreso than the MeatBreath. The best way to describe it's taste is to compare it to a berry, herbal tea with a dash of honey in it, followed by hints of sweet pine and spices on exhale. It burns nice and greasy, providing a super smooth smoke and leaves behind a light grey ash.
The high on this Black Berry Breath is an indica dominant one with it's mellow nature and couch locking tendencies. Very relaxed and tranquil, providing a sense of calmness both mentally and physically. It isn't a KO type of Indica as it's heady, euphoric characteristics help keep you awake enough to ride out it's wave. It can definitely lead to a lazy slumber towards the end of the high, especially if your tolerance is a little lower. Perfect for those evenings where you want to peacefully-and uneventfully relax on the couch.
This Death Bubba arrived in smaller popcorn sized nugs that still offer a decent bag appeal. The buds are a little loose and fluffy but are sticky and greasy, sporting vivid green colours complimented by thin fiery pistils and the odd hint of purple. Real heavy trichome coverage as multitudes of vis...ibly intact heads take up every nook and cranny. Maybe not the nicest of trims as there is quite the excess sugar leaf.
Classic death bubba nose and taste, producing aromas of dank earth and pungent gas. A little musky and sour too, but moreso on the exhale with the flavours resembling more of a sour og. Smooth for the most part though it doesn't really provide that heavy death bubba punch to the lungs. Joints burn a bit on the darker grey side, followed by a hefty resin ring.
A typical indica stone with it's calming and full bodied effects. Both heady and relaxing at the same time, offering a very easy going, yet unmotivated buzz. Best saved for evening use as it surely leaves you in a lazy mood with no urge to partake in activities. I wouldn't call it a quad however as it more so fits the category of AAA to AAA+ due to bud size and structure and overall loudness.
This white widow arrived fresh and sticky, sporting spear shaped nugs with tons of peach coloured pistils and milky white trichomes. Lime green in colour and dense in structure, making it quite gooey and and difficult to break apart by hand. Cur...ed nicely overall with a soft texture and neat trim.
Never have I had such a pungent smelling white widow as this cut emits strong notes of sharp cheese , followed up by scents of herbs and pine. Also notes of citrus and pepper in the mix. It translates accurately over to the taste but much less cheesier. Sweet, herbal, earthy flavours with just a touch of cheese on exhale. Smooth on the lungs with a clean burning ash and medium sized oil ring.
A decently potent hybrid that opens up with a hazy, euphoric head stone. Great for morning and afternoon use as it leaves you uplifted and creative. It has some social qualities as well, giving you the need to be extra talkative in certain situations. Overall a very balanced high with just enough of a mellow, relaxed vibe to feel completely at ease and worry free.
