I've had Donkey Butter in the past but this would be my first time trying Pacif...ic Bud Boys' cut. Seriously dense, perfectly trimmed, heavy set buds that are so compactly structured that a tiny piece will easily break up to an unexpectedly large amount. It's colours are a wild combination of dark greens and purples that are nearly drowned out by a thick blanket of milky trichomes. Can't forget about it's heaping helping of orange-brown pistils that cover a large amount of surface area. The cure is on point once again, leaving the buds sticky and greasy within, looking just as vibrant as the exterior.
A cross of Grease Monkey x Triple OG, this Donkey Butter has more of a reserved, classic profile. The first aromas I detect are of sweet earth and sour pine, followed further by notes of diesel fuel and rich kush upon grinding. It's taste is similar as it's dominated by flavours of earth and diesel, accented by underlying hints of skunk and pine on the exhale. Very impressed by how smooth the smoke is, not even giving me the slightest urge to cough on bigger rips. Joints burn nice and greasy and leave behind a clean light ash.
Really enjoyed the indica dominant high on this Donkey Butter as I've heard it can be quite the potent strain which proved to be quite accurate. Starts off with a burst of dreamy euphoria that provides a mood lifting energy. It quickly evolves into a very stoney, heady buzz from it's skunk lineage and may be overpowering for the less tolerant. It slowly but surely transitions into more of a relaxed high with obvious physical effects that left me in a very laid back, tranquil state. Not necessarily sedative but can leave one in a bit of a lazy funk.
I've always said to myself how I would love the combination of Pink Kush and a cake strain as they are amongst some of my favourites. Enter : Pink Cake. I was so excited to review this one which t...urned out to be a home run in all aspects, beginning with it's attractive appearance. Greasy, sticky, spade shaped nugs that range from medium to medium-large in size with a dense, compact structure. It's colours are a mix of sage green and dark purple that can further be seen deeply rooted within, followed by a slick coating of resinous crystals and thin orange hairs. Very well trimmed and immaculately cured.
The profile is exactly as advertised and it's something to cherish as it takes the creamy, doughy, wedding cake aromas and combines them with floral, vanilla undertones. All wrapped up in a delicate gassy finish. No terpenes are left behind when smoking it as well with flavours of creamy wedding cake meeting flavours of floral, almost perfumey, pink kush. Also a subtle touch of gas on exhale that combines everything together in a synchronized, harmonious fashion. Great burn as joints produce a hefty oil ring and leave behind a clean, light ash.
The high on this Pink Cake hits like an indica dominant hybrid but it's mainly noticed much further into the high. It starts off with an extremely euphoric buzz that left me feeling spaced out and talkative. Definitely one that is effective at raising ones mood with it's upbeat, social nature but not for long as it's relaxing couch lock eventually kicks in and leaves you in a zone of your own. I didn't find it to be a knockout but it has just enough of a sedating side to offer that warm, body tingling buzz that helps wash away stress and wind down.
Reposted since I had it as #33 and it may very well be the #41. Just going to leave it as Gelato as that's how it's listed on the RDD site.

This Gelato by PBB goes under the category of one of the darkest purple saturated strains I've had to date. Certain buds display a lighter complexion while others are made up of very deep, midnight purple hues, further accentuated by a population of bright orange hairs. Perfectly manicured with a texture that is squishy and ultra sticky to the touch, making it a real task to use anything but a grinder where even then it may need a few extra twists. The flower sticks to the paper, basically rolling itself.
A very pronounced, dessert type of Gelato profile that might just be my favourite cut of this strain. It's extremely doughy and creamy to a point that it becomes pungent. It's further accented by nuances of peppery, cookie gas. A flawless transition into flavour as the smoke offers the same delicious terpenes found in the aromas but with a very welcomed added twist. Sweet and doughy with a refreshing creamy citrus exhale, ending with subtleties of cookies and gas. Definitely a super tasty Gelato that lingers on the pallet and has you looking forward to that next toke. Joints burn to a light ash with a little peppering, followed by a quick building oil ring that starts to puddle up halfway through.
The high on this Gelato feels like a carefully balanced hybrid that brings on a plethora of uplifted yet relaxed effects that are perfect for an afternoon or evening pick-me-up. It's very chill and mellow due to it's stoney buzz that works it's way from the feet up, providing a soothing, calming body high. It can set you back into the couch for a little while but it's euphoric demeanor keeps it from being too sedating.

Been having many different PBB's lately as it seems to be quite the popular strain at the moment. Although a little smaller in bud size, the appeal is still very muc...h present on these attractive looking smalls. Frosty and compactly structured, displaying colourful hues of greens and purples that seem to range from bud to bud, covered by a forest of thin orange pistils. Decently sticky and precisely trimmed as well, with a healthy amount of juicy trichome heads clinging on to long stalks.
A very pleasant terpene profile on this Peanut Butter Breath, bringing forth aromas of rich nuts and sweet earth. Can really detect the dosi dos in this particular batch, especially when smoked. It accurately translates to taste, producing flavours of savoury herbs and earth accented by a delicate and sweet dosi dos creaminess. I didn't find it to be harsh but the burn is on the darker side and joints need to be re-lit a few times over the course of a session, which ultimately impacts it's overall enjoyability.
The high seems to be a decently potent one with well rounded hybrid effects that come on quick and hard. Beginning first with a stoney head high that is both unfocused and spacey. You can slowly feel the transition taking place further into the buzz as you're left in a euphoric, stress free state with physically relaxing qualities that can leave you quite lazy afterwards.
I recently reviewed PBB's Animal Face which I really enjoyed so I thought it wo...uld be a good time to try their Animal Cookies as well. Lovely visuals on these dense, sticky buds, sporting a light purple and green complexion that is further pronounced by a resinous blanket of trichomes and glowing orange pistils. Like every PBB strain I've tried lately, the cure is on point, followed by a good trim that only leaves behind a little bit of sticky sugar leaf.
The nose on this Girl Scout Cookies x Fire OG cross is a pungent combination of both parents. Sweet vanilla, cookies, and pine, followed by sharp notes of sour herbs and fuel upon cracking a bud apart. It's flavours are not as sweet and bring on more of a sour og type taste, paired with undertones of spices and pine that can pack a punch to the lungs. Still stuck with some sub-par rolling papers so I can't judge the ash correctly but based on the cleanliness of the other PBB strains and what was left in my pipe bowl I can comfortably assume it will follow suit and burn with a light, clean ash.
An indica leaning hybrid that takes very little time to make it's appearance felt. It starts off with a potent mix of heady and body effects that are both heavily euphoric and relaxing. They begin to intensify as time goes on, offering a melting, shoulder drooping stone that can lead to a good ole couch lock with sedating qualities in larger amounts.
Always enjoy doing another round of OneTwoTreez reviews as the quality and freshness of the flower has been something to take note of each time. Decided to start off with a strain that I'm heavily experienced with and used to, trying it way back around 2005 for the first time when ”medicinal w...eed” made it on the scene as we so naively called it. Small to medium, forest green buds that are dense and moderately sticky, displaying a healthy coating of resinous trichome heads and thin orange hairs. All wrapped up in a tightly trimmed package that is followed by a great cure.
The nose is your classic Rockstar with aromas of rich pine and kush, although more of a mellow gas to it as opposed to a very pungent type. It does grow stronger when ground up however. It's flavours are similar, opening up with notes of pine and kush followed by herbal and gassy undertones on exhale. Once again it's not the dankest tasting Rockstar but it's extremely smooth and easy on the lungs, producing a thick smoke that makes for big cloudy rips. Joints burn with a heavy oil ring and leave behind a light salt and pepper ash.
The effects are definitely the strong suit of this Rockstar as it offers limb to limb relaxation paired with a soothing mental tranquility. Both euphoric and calming, allowing one to enjoy a chilled out indica stone without the need to feel like taking a nap. It can be a little couch locking in larger quantities, leaving you feeling quite lazy afterwards. Probably best kept for late afternoons and evenings. Pink Cake up next!
This cut of Dolato cultivated by Hierba arrived sporting super dense, tightly structured buds ...that are manicured to perfection. Lovely colours on display, bringing together pastel like shades of purple and green. All heavily complimented by a multitude of glowing orange pistils that vibrantly stand out, giving the buds plenty of character. Breaking into them reveals a slightly sticky interior that grinds up to a great joint rolling consistency. You can feel that the cure is on point when handling the buds and it's further noticed when smoked.
The profile on this Dolato is heavily influenced by it's deeply rooted cookie genetics that both the Gelato 41 and Dosi Dos share in abundance. Sweet cookie aromas that are followed by savory nutty undertones that give it this robust ”meaty” quality that's found in strains like meat breath and platinum cake, especially when paired with it's peppery nuances. The smoke carries over the same terpenes found in the nose, bringing together flavours of sweet cookies and earth with a rich, peppery exhale. Joints burn great with a fluffy white ash and decently sized oil ring.
An indica dominant high that starts out as super cerebral and heady, offering a stoney buzz that gives you that pressure behind the eyes feeling. It shortly begins to merge with more euphoric driven characteristics, bringing on an upbeat, uplifted high paired with a fully body relaxation that is ultra soothing but not sedating. Perfect for an afternoon or evening session.
Saved this lovely, fox tailed Petite Madeleine for last. A strain with unknown genetics cultivated by Healing Hands. The buds displays a pale, olive green appearance, pack...ed with copious amounts of milky crystals and peach-orange hairs. They are dense and compact, holding in a fair level of moisture that leaves the buds slightly sticky. Some oxidation going on within as the interior has more of a yellowish hue to it. The trim and cure are perfect which is no surprise anymore as every Healing Hands strain I've tried has shined in this particular category.
The nose reminds me of certain berry related crosses I've had. Subtle aromas of cookies and berries that begin to get sweeter and even tarty on a longer sniff. I get a touch of vanilla and earth as well. Extremely similar when smoked with an added hint of earth that gives it a slight bitterness on exhale after it's initial sweetness. Joints burn with a light grey ash, leaving behind a medium sized oil ring and producing a very smooth smoke. Can leave the throat a little raspy feeling afterwards but I only noticed this through a joint versus a bong.
The high on this one is 100% cerebral at first with an easily distracted, forgetful head high that is the opposite of a focused, clear headed one. Definitely has a nice kick to it, especially as a wake and bake smoke. It soon evens out into more of a balanced stone with it's mellow, relaxing qualities joining the mix. I didn't notice much of a burn out afterwards and the effects seem to be short to medium in length, making for a decent daytime smoke that won't slow you down much. I did enjoy the other three strains a little more but for the tag she's a solid choice.
Genetics : Reefer Man Pink Kush x Unknown Pink Kush Clone
Cultivated by : healing hands
Love me a pink strain and this one by Healing Hands is a cross of Reefer Man Pink Kush x an Unknown Pi...nk Kush Clone. Healthy looking buds that vary in colour with certain buds containing a mix of greens and purples while others are dominantly green. Great trichome production as well, leaving every pocket generously coated in greasy crystals, followed by many thin, dark orange hairs. Sporting a sticky, semi dense texture that breaks up relatively easy and is cured to perfection, a clear pattern I've noticed with Healing Hands' flower. Might find the odd seed or two as I've managed to spot a couple so far.
The profile on this Killer Pink reminds me of an Island Pink as it isn't the very gassy type more so than it is sweet and floral with hints of vanilla and pine. There is still a certain gassy pungency to it but it's a gentle one. The flavours resemble the aromas to a tee, providing an incredibly smooth smoke that brings with it nuances of sweet, earthy kush followed by undertones of flowers and vanilla. Subtle hints of gas and pine on the exhale as well. Another perfectly burning flower, speaking to the consistency and quality of these Healing Hands strains, producing a soft white ash and slick oil ring.
I always love pinks for their stoney, euphoric highs with just the right amount of relaxation to feel super calm and elated without the KO sedation. This Killer Pink follows suit, promoting an easy going, upbeat high that is heady and physically soothing altogether. Can be smoked during the day but it definitely has the ability to leave you lazy afterwards. Another one that was a pleasure to review in every way. Last but not least, the Petite Madelleine.
