Classic Bubba Kush, arriving as beautiful, vibrant green buds that are smothered in a sea of long stalked crystals. Further accented by hints of purple and reddish-orange hairs. Fluffy, but not airy, as the buds contain a decent amount of moisture a...nd stickiness. Very nicely manicured as well.
A very enjoyable aroma profile on this Bubba Kush. A combination of sweet pine and herbs, paired with a pungent, fruity backend. The flavour is less intricate then the aroma would suggest unfortunately, offering an earthy-herbal smoke. Super smoother however, burning to a light grey ash with a slow building resin ring.
Fairly potent in nature, delivering euphoric and calming effects paired with a mellow, relaxing couch lock. Very balanced as it's both heady and physically aiding, allowing you to veg out on the couch worry free. Also can be somewhat of a creeper high as it rolls on slowly but surely.
Next up from The Natural Remedy and a strain I haven't had a whole lot, Peanut Butter Breath. Semi dense, pine tree green nugs that are heavily coated in glistening trichomes and complimented by hickory coloured pistils. A little crisp on th...e outside, possibly due to the excess leaf, though decently sticky when broken apart.
This one manages to stay true to it's name, but in a subtle way, resembling a raw peanut rather than peanut butter. Fragrances and flavours of earth, herbs and nuts, followed by slightly sour undertones. It's initially smooth but becomes a little acrid on exhale with it's expansive smoke, all while burning a salt and pepper ash and modest oil ring.
The effects are quite potent, quickly delivering a dreamy and stoney head high that's shortly followed by a slight body relaxation. Mostly hybrid in nature as it leaves you calm and comfortably lazy while allowing the mind to stay a drift and awake, making it the ideal type of high for gaming or binge watching.
These photogenic buds of Serenity Haze arrived with a ton of a character. Plump and cone shaped, sporting a moderate density and stickiness. They display a healthy forest green complexion, met with a plethora of wild orange pistils and a layer of c...loudy white trichomes. Nicely trimmed as well, leaving behind a small amount of sugar leaf.
This one packs a very familiar 'haze' profile, producing sweet and peppery aromas followed by subtle hints of cheese and earth. The taste is similar, only without the cheese aspect. Burns a light coloured ash and provides a decently smooth smoke despite it being thick and expansive on the lungs.
A sativa driven strain that is very euphoric and clear headed, making for a creative and productive high that mentally stimulates the mind with little to no burn out. Not entirely sure on the history behind it's name/lineage, but this one does infact manage to offer a sense of serenity and calmness unlike most haze strains. Perfect for wake and bakes.
Finally, we arrive to the Vancity Bubba. Great bag appeal as the buds glisten in the light from the sheer amount of crystals that form in clusters. Very healthy shades of light and dark greens, accented by thin, copper coloured pistils. Dense and c...ompact, with some buds slightly fox tailing. Extremely sticky and gooey, proving to be quit the grinder clogger. Perfect trim and cure as well, a reoccurring pattern with each strain I've tried.
Unlike the sweet and gassy Astro Bubba I previously reviewed, this Vancity Bubba was cut from a different cloth as it reeked of loud gasoline, followed by undertones of dank earth and pine. It translated flawlessly to the taste, packing a full-bodied, flavorful smoke that is so clean and smooth on the exhale. It burns exceptionally well in a joint, leaving behind a light ash and heavy resin ring.
The epitome of a powerful and potent indica that hits on every level and then some. It starts with an instant heaviness behind the eyes as you can feel your entire face start to relax and thought process dwindle. This feeling is amplified with each passing moment and moves on to the rest of the body, submitting one to the couch in no time. There's a fine line to be crossed at this point as smoking a lot can lead to a nice nap, while consuming less provides more of a euphoric, drifting body stone. A terrific way to round up these reviews as everything has been of stellar quality.
Up next for review is this very delectable Pink Coma. The one bud pictured above weighed in just south of 7 grams. An absolute chonker. Dense and very sticky to the touch, sporting a mix of forest greens and purples that are blanketed in a layer of... milky trichomes and wispy orange hairs. Love the chunky bud structure this one packs. The cure is spot on once again which is very evident when feeling the texture and more so when smoked.
I was very excited to crack the bag open as soon as I seen Pink in the name as I always mention how I'm a sucker for those terps. I wasn't disappointed at all as the aromas emitting from these buds were of the gassy, floral, and sweet variety, reminiscent of a dank Pink Kush. The flavour was identical too, offering a super thick and heavy smoke that tasted of sweet, gassy goodness with hints of earth and pine on exhale. Very slow and resinous burning, producing a light ash and greasy oil ring shortly upon sparking the J.
The effects are heavily indica dominant, providing an almost instant wave of euphoric relaxation that engulfs one in it's sedating grasp. It's not only physical in nature as it's also paired with a potent cerebral buzz that can be dreamy and spaced out. Definitely one to plan a schedule around as it can leave you feeling lazy and useless afterwards. Another heavy hitter from One Two Treez, ranking up just behind the Astro Bubba for me.
One Two Treez is new MoM who have recently launched a website and are local to the Toronto area. I have three strains up for review by them and couldn't help but to start with this very inviting and enticing Astro Bubba. The nugs are beautifu...l, displaying lovely shades of various greens and purples that are delicately complimented by dark orange pistils and a heaping helping of resinous trichomes. Super dense and sticky as well, followed by an impeccable trim and cure. The two buds in the picture made up the majority of the quarter as they were very plump and heavy.
The nose on this Astro Bubba is a very pungent one right out of the bag. At first I'm met with delightful aromas of gas and pine that are shortly followed by sweet undertones of vanilla-mint. It's uncannily similar when smoked, carrying over those same gassy, pine, and sweet characteristics. Incredibly smooth, delivering a thick, milky smoke that is easy on the lungs. It burns to a light coloured ash and produces a significant oil ring.
I've really been enjoying the high on this one as it offers such a warm, relaxing vibe in a sense that it leaves you completely carefree and melted in place. I found it to be really potent with it's spacey, zoned out effects and heavy-limbed body buzz. Great for a lazy day in or just wanting to wind down in the evening as it's a perfectly well rounded indica in every way.
This Wild Berry Kush is possibly the least visually appealing out of the 3 strains, although it can be justified due to it's lower rating. Leafy and slightly fluffy in parts, sporting shades of light and olive greens, accented by pale orange pistils. Decent trichome coverage and just a tad crisp...y on the outside with a slightly stickier interior
The aroma profile on this one was a little on the muted side, providing subtle notes of earth and berries with some light floral-muskyness to it. The taste is similar, providing a sweet smoke with hints of berries and sweet kush on exhale. Clean and smooth smoking, burning to a light coloured ash with a small oil ring.
Decently potent, especially given the AA+ rating. Heady and physically calming, providing a real sense of relaxation that's complemented by It's euphoric nature. Neither heavy or sedating, allowing you to enjoy It's indica leaning effects throughout the day.
Up next, the very famous pineapple express. This cut sports skinny, long buds that are sticky and ultra dense, arriving with a healthy amount of frosty trichomes and blazing orange pistils. Mostly light green in colour with some extra sugar leaf as well. This one follows suit with the Death Bubba as... the cure is on point.
The aroma profile on this Pineapple Express is a combination of sweet berries and pine followed by hints of citrus that blend together to give it it's tropical composition. The taste is quite the same too with an earthy, peppery, citrus aftertaste accompanied by a peculiar sweetness that reminds me of Nuken. Smooth and clean burning, leaving behind a light grey ash and modest grease ring.
A hybrid inspired high that is very typical of Pineapple Express. It produces a mix of balanced head and body effects that keep ones mood uplifted and elevated while still remaining extremely relaxed and mellow. Potent and decently long lasting, making this one a good daytime choice when needing to stay functional and buzzed all together.
