**Black Cherry Cheesecake**...

This black cherry cheesecake is one of a kind and easily my best purchase this time around. A cross between black cherry soda × super silver haze × cheese. Tight, wholesome buds that are medium to large in size with lovely colors and a neat trim. Mint greens and purple shades to go along with substantial amounts of sharp orange hairs and trichome heads. Quite sticky to the touch as well.

Right out of the bag you get a strong scent of it’s sweet and pungent profile. Aromas of black cherries with dessert like cheese undertones. Really unique to say the least. The cheese isn’t overwhelming but rather delicate and only adds to the complexity. When smoked, the taste isn’t as pronounced but pleasant with sweet hints of cherry. Thick and creamy smoke that seems to coat the palate. Bit of a throat tickler as it’s description mentions, but still smooth on the lungs. I’m mainly a bong user but I can’t wait to try this one in a joint or blunt for full flavour.

Despite it having the tag of a creeper, the high hit me real quick, right after the exhale with a surging head buzz. Very easy to zone out with this one. There’s also a bit of a body high with some very relaxing and calming effects that have the potential to be sedative in bigger amounts. All in all just a real potent high with well rounded hybrid effects that make for a great social high.

**Cannalope Haze**

I got this Cannalope Haze as a sample last order, and it was so good that I decided to get an oz of it this time. Medium to large buds that are sticky and fluffy, clinging to each other effortlessly. Such healthy looking flower, with light greens and fiery orange hairs that cover the majority of these nugs. Quite frosty too, with a decent amount of trichs. The one take away would be the amount of leaf, but nothing too substantial, especially considering it’s a AA+.

When broken up it has a pleasant tropical aroma of sweet mango and melons, with slight earthy notes. Smells so similar to some Mango Sapphire I had in the past. The taste has more of the haze coming through with earthy and citrus undertones. Smokes very smooth, being easy on the lungs and producing a light coloured ash.

The high is clear headed and cerebrally driven, with some energetic effects that come in boosts. It can lead to being creative and focused too, as I can usually tell when doing things that require paying attention, like writing reviews for example lol.

**Obama Kush**

This is a cross of two classics, OG Kush and Afghan. The buds are very fresh and sticky and has got even better after a few days in a jar. Dark green in appearance with many vibrant orange hairs and a decent amount of trichs to go with it. A little on the leafier side but nothing worth worrying about. Not dense nor fluffy but somewhere in between and very little popcorn. Mostly medium sized buds with the odd larger one.

The aroma is that of a nostalgic kush, most likely the Afghan, with notes of sweet earth and pine. Also with the added gassyness from the OG giving it quite the pungent nose. Despite being very sticky and on the fresher side, it still burns perfectly fine. Thick and flavorful smoke that stings the nose like a potent kush sometimes does.

It’s definitely indica leaning but doesn’t knock you out right away as I found it to creep up over time. It hits you right behind the eyes at first and gives an uplifting body and head stone. All while remaining relaxed and chill. Great for an end of the day smoke or just lounging around.

**UK Cheese**

I happen... to be a big fan of cheese related strains and the more funkier and pungent, the better. This is the classic UK Cheese and it seems to be a staple of Cannabudpost’s, as it reads on the site. The buds are quite heavy and tight with those classic UK cheese colours of bright green, and orange hairs. Many visible trichomes that are easy to see as well, and it’s some sticky stuff to break by hand. Now the aroma is where it really stands out and does not disappoint it’s name. It’s extremely cheesy and overwhelmingly pungent but in such a good way. It’s almost rancid and that’s the skunk genetics really coming through. When smoked it’s much more toned down, taking on a sweet/berry and peppery taste, with a slightly cheese flavour that lingers on the exhale. Will stink up a room in no time. Starts off with a strong head high, but clear and focused rather than spacey and hazey. Also a buzzing body high from it’s relaxing and calming qualities. Doesn’t take much either to feel the effects. Great rendition of this strain!

**Platinum Bubba Kush**

These buds of platinum bubba kush were quite beautiful in appearance. Mostly a shade of forest green with some darker green hues, and clusters of orange hairs. Breaking it up it’s decently sticky with a strong kush and gassy nose with floral notes as well. Being a cross of platinum og and bubba kush you know It’s going to pack a lot of kush flavour. It definitely did with a sweet/floral and gassy taste. Smooth, but hard hitting, with It’s super thick smoke. The high is quite the creeper as the description mentions and a potent one at that. A body stone that makes you feel like you have heavy limbs. Just melted into the couch and didn’t move for a while.

**Final Notes**

Newer MoM on the scene and the 2 strains I tried were both of great quality in terms of the nose/taste/potency and flush. Smooth and clean burning with lighter coloured ash. Seem to have a lot of variety and price ranges for anyone’s budget as well. Spoke to them a few times now, mostly through Instagram, and it’s always been very friendly and pleasant. Nothing but a positive experience overall.See More

**Super Lemon Haze**

Had Super Lemon Haze only once and I remember loving it, moreso for the high as it’s not my favourite smell and taste. Dense and plump buds are that are pickle green and covered in orange pistols and trichs. Sticky, with minimial leaf as theres a pretty tight trim going on. Terps are strong and pronounced. Notes of lemons, almost like a lemon rind, with hints of tropical haze and earthyness. The taste is more on the subtle side, with hints of sweet lemon accented by an earthy tinge. Not the smoothest smoke as it is a little acrid and overwhelming, leaving a slight tickle. This is apparent of the strain and can be common with many haze’s. Still clean burning however, with a light gray ash in a bong. The high comes on real quick setting in right behind the eyes. Stronger than most sativas I’ve tried. Very uplifiting and a great social and functional high that doesn’t leave you burned out afterwards.

Just like humans, even weed comes with many differentiating qualities. Even if it’s the same strain lol. Like this pineapple express for instance. I had one recently that was the exact opposite in appearance. This one is of a dense and tighter compositon sporting a dark green colour with several red/orange hairs. Decent trlchome coverage as well, leaving the buds sticky within. One of the best weed aromas around in my opinion especially if you need a break from all the heavy gassy stuff. Just pure tropical notes with hints of pineapple and earth. The taste is also similar with an overall fruity and earthy flavour with subtle pine undertones. I think this may be the perfect daytime high for someone who wants a little more than your run of the mill sativa. I find it to be potent but really functional still, and best of all it’s such a mood lifter of a strain.

**Purple Kush**

Longtime fan of the classic purple kush as it’s one of those strains I grew up with. Just like back then, it seems to be everywhere, being a common product on most MoMs’ flower menus. This purple kush is pretty damn good, especially for being one of their value ozs. Round and dense buds that are dark green in nature with faint purple hues. Very sticky and frosty with some leaf and tons of small orange hairs. The nose and taste is much like every purple kush I’ve ever tried. Sweet and earthy with grape notes. A flavour that is as iconic as a yankee hat or a mcdonalds french fry. Heavy and thick smoke but still smooth and fairly clean burning, producing a gray ash in a joint. The high is rather heavy with a strong body buzz and slight head high. Very relaxing and calming, perfect for any type of night.See More

**Blue Island Skunk**

A strain I haven’t tried before so I was excited to smoke this one. A very tight and dense bud structure with an excellent trim and a blanket of trichomes. Forest green in colour with dark orange hairs throughout and sticky within. The aroma is a familiar one that I’ve had before with several strains. Duke Nukem and Blue God for example. Musky and sweet earthy notes with a citrus finish that gets even stronger when ground up. When smoked, the flavour is mostly earthy and lemon, but there is a lingering skunky taste as well. Can be a little strong when inhaling a big amount due to the really thick and expansive smoke it produces. Even though it’s an indica dominant strain it still made for a good daytime smoke as it didn’t leave me tired or lazy. Instead, it offered a very mellow and relaxed high but still mentally stimulating and alert.

**Purple Space Cookies**

I’m always looking for different varieties of Purple Space Cookies and this one definitely surprised me in a positive way. The bag appeal is on point even with some extra leaf in spots. A mix of dark  greens and purples blanketed by a frosting of trichomes and orange hairs. Another one that was sticky to the touch and broke up great in the grinder. One of those easy rolling consistencies. The aroma is where this PSC differed than others I’ve had. It was still on the grape end of things but much more earthy and musky, similar to a Black Diamond. Very similar taste as well that was full of flavour with it’s thick and creamy smoke. Can be a bit of a choker but not because it’s harsh but because of it’s strong hit. I would describe the high as a very ’spacey’ and stoney one that leans on the sativa side with it’s heady effects. It also tends to bring out the talkative side in people. Believe me, my Dad is already a chatter box and this stuff makes him relentless and unforgiving to ones ears, lol. Great daytime stuff though.

**Purple Skunk**

Another skunk type strain I have never tried and regretfully so. This is the type of sativa I need in my life on a daily basis. First off, the buds are mesmerizing with an array of colours that include dark purples and greens. A decent amount of orange hairs as well all covered in a resinous coating of trichomes. Makes for quite the sticky bud when handling it. A bit of leaf near the base of the bud but nothing crazy. One of my favourite profiles that include a deep and musky sweet grape aroma. It borderlines the smell of a red wine, like Black Diamond or strains of a similar ilk. The taste is basically identical with the addition of a skunky tinge that lingers around long after an exhale. Very smooth and pleasant smoke and it went perfect with a backwoods leaf. The super euphoric and uplifting effects of this purple skunk are so unique and different than most sativas. It’s very potent and almost demands being active so probably not the best for generally anxious folks or novice smokers. Seems like a good old-school, laugh your self to death with friends type smoke. That’s where it really stood out for me.

**Purple Berry**

Very gorgeous and vibrant colours on this Purple Berry that just pop. Mainly because of contrast of the bright orange hairs against the dark forest green buds. Also some purple hues when inspected closer. Decent trim as well with a sticky texture. A cross of the very popular Grandaddy Purple and Blueberry so you just know you are in for a sweet smelling treat. It was indeed, smelling of sweet backyard grapes. Not the common artificial grape smell but actual backyard grapes, the purple ones. Also a subtle spicy/peppery and earthy smell that comes out when the bud is cracked open making for quite the aromatic combination. I vaped this one to get a full appreciation of the terps and it was not disappointing. Quite similar to how it smells actually but a little more earthy. Very sweet and fruity with the grape and herbal undertones making themselves apparent. Not the typical knockout indica high that puts you to sleep instantly but rather a slow burn. Starts off with a calming and relaxing sensation while still keeping the mind quite awake.

**Gelato 33**

Always a good strain to have on hand especially for late afternoons and evenings. A dessert strain by every definition of the word. The colours on this bud are very complex with a combination of different hues. Dark and light greens with shades of purple and rusty orange hairs. A substantial amount of trichomes as well with a sticky texture when handled. The aroma oozing from this gelato is amazing to say the least. A rich and creamy lemon sweetness, combined with dark earthy notes, giving it an overall minty smell. It all translates perfectly to taste offering a thick and flavourful smoke that is smooth in a joint or a bong. One of the few strains I would deem as a true hybrid personally. It’s effects feel split down the middle. Sociable and uplifting but extremely relaxing and chill. Might leave you a little burnt out afterwards.

**Gentle Death**

This is their in house version of the classic Death Bubba. Light green buds with a structure that leans on the fluffier side and is moderately sticky. Not much of a definitive nose until broken up where the classic Death Bubba notes start subtly emerge. A light gassy aroma with sweet and earthy undertones. When smoked in a bong the flavour was there but not an overwhelming one. Can be a little harsher as well as it had me coughing more than the other strains. It was a quite potent and effective indica, making me rather tired and lazy after smoking half a gram. Just sunk into the couch, thought free and ready to pass out.

**Motor Oil**

Motor Oil is the name given to this concentrate and it’s made in house using grand daddy purple as the strain. This is what the description reads:  ’Motor Oil is like a mix between shatter,oil, and wax/budder. It is easy to work with out of our glass jars and packs a powerful hit at 76.82% THC!’

I do agree as it’s very easy to handle and work with. Almost looks like a sugar wax in appeance with a golden/maple colour. Not an overwhelmingly strong taste but an enoyable one with hints of diesel and earth. The high was very much indica leaning and found it to be a bit of a creeper that built as time went on.

**Pink Kush House Shatter**

This is their in house pink kush shatter that is more of a pull and snap vs glass/shatter consistency. Easy to work with and has a maple syrup colour to it when held in the light. Not the terpiest but moderately decent flavour of kushy gas with a potent indica leaning kick. Had me nice and relaxed with a slight body buzz and couch lock after 2 or 3 dabs.

I originally ordered Bruce Banner but ended up receiving this as replacement because of stock issues. Im kind of glad that happened as I never tried El Chapo before, and it certainly left an impression. Sticky, mediumish sized buds that are just the nicest shade of jade green. Seriously, such healthy greens that just glow in my grinder. Nice amount of trichomes too with shorter orange hairs and minimal leaf. Right out of the bag it smelled of gassy diesel with hints of lemon and pine. Really comes alive when broken up, with the scent of pine and subtle lemons sticking to the fingertips. Tastes almost exactly like it smells, only with the piney notes dominating on exhale, resembling more of the OG Kush. Still pretty gassy just not as much as the nose. Smoke is real thick and flavorful, as well as clean and smooth, burning a lighter ash in a bong. Effects are definetly indica leaning, with some mental effects followed by a strong and relaxing body buzz. Pretty sedative towards the end of the high, especially if alot is smoked. Overall i really enjoyed this smoke and couldnt be happier with the replacement.

**Pineapple Express**

Good ol Pex! I’ve had Pineapple Express several times now from different moms, especially in the last little while. I’ll try not to be too biased as this strain is a favorite of mine lol. First off, I must say this is some of the most healthiest and juiciest looking weed I’ve come across. Florescent greens and bright orange hairs give this bud a sort of neon appearance. Very sticky and fluffy with a plethora of visible trich heads, making it look quite resinous. This is some of the most tropical smelling weed I’ve had with notes of sweet pineapple and citrus. The taste isn’t quite as pronounced but still a pleasant tasting smoke that fills the room with the sweetest tropical aroma. Very smooth despite it’s thicker smoke, burning a lighter grey ash in a joint. The high is very typical of Pineapple Express, producing an array of balanced head and body effects. Very social and functional high that leans on the sativa side with an overall relaxed feeling. Can also be kind of a hazey and spacey high if too much is smoked as it’s quite potent.

**Purple Space Cookies**

This here is probably the staple strain of CWS. The consensus around the community has always been that they carry some of the best Purple Space Cookies, and I can certainly attest to that. I’ve probably had PSC more times than any other strain, especially from CWS, and I’ve never came across a bad batch. The appearance alone will make you fall in love with it. From exotic purples to bright orange hairs, to bright green stems, this bud has so much going on. Buds are in the middle of fluffy and dense, and quite sticky due to the heavy trich coverage. The terp profile is what you’d expect from such an exotic looking bud. Very sweet almost tarty, with dominant notes of grape that come in wafts. Stuff smells so good you just want to keep opening the jar. It tastes exactly like the nose with combinations of sweet grape and earthy tones. Theres also a bit of underlying cookieness thats very common in other Cookie strains. Such a pleasant and unique smoke that burns really smooth. The high is not a ’knock you off your ass’ type, but more of an uplifting and happy feeling sativa with heady tendencies. Great for social environments as well. Awesome strain that I’ll keep getting as long as it’s in stock.

**Death Tuna**

Another hard hitting and potent smoke like most Tuna strains available, only more indica dominated because of its Death Bubba genes. Stuff is very dank as it fills up the room effortlessy. Just straight gas with pungent and diesel notes that produce a thick and hard hitting smoke, albeit smooth. Very flavorful as well with gassy and diesel tones accented by an almost sweet tinge. Buds are absolutely beautiful and sticky. Light and dark green toned nugs with the odd hue of purple accompanied by clusters of bright orange pistils and full trich heads. Real resinous stuff with a more fluffier apperance, despite its nice trim. The high is a real potent and heavy one that kicks in instantly after exhale. Heavy eyes with a bit of a head buzz, but more focused on the couch lock and sedating effects. A couple bowls of this and I can say good bye to any chance up staying up long.

**Purple Space Tuna**

First time trying this strain as it’s unique mix pulled me right in. Purple Space Cookies x the potent Tuna Kush makes for an excellent and heavy hitting cross that hits you instantly. A real head buzzer with uplifting effects and a heavyness that starts at the temples and soon makes its way throughout the body. Theres a bit of a body buzz that progresses towards the burnout but nothing too sedative. With that said, it does have the potential to be a knockout depending on how much is smoked, as it’s such a potent high. The bag appeal is just as one to behold. Green and purple hued buds that are covered in orange hairs and trichs. Real good trim too as there is minimal leaf on these sticky nugs. The smell that comes off these buds are mouthwatering and somewhat intoxicating. Gassy notes from the Tuna that greatly dominates the PSC(nose and taste), but there is still an underlying sweetness that pertrudes from underneath the dankness every now and then. Thick and smooth smoke, as well as clean burning, producing a grey ash in a joint and bong. Will be keeping an eye out for this new favourite in the future.

**Forbidden Zkittlez**

Forbidden Zkittlez is the strain I wanted to try most and just couldn’t wait to smoke it. There’s 2 phenotypes to this strain; one with light purples and fruity terps, the other with gassy and grapey terps. I’m assuming this is the latter based on its appearance and smell. Buds are forest green with dark purple hues and bright orange hairs. Such nice colors that make for a wicked contrast, not to mention the constant sparkle coming from the many full trichome heads. These frosty buds are medium in size with a more fluffier appearance, but still breaks up to a nice amount. Overalll just some very sticky and resinous nugs. Terp profile is phenomenal. Gassy, with slightly sweet, almost blueberry like undertones, giving it dessert like aroma. Translates exeptionally well to the taste with a thick and smooth creamy smoke that lingers on the pallet. Very potent stuff as I’m pretty high after only one bong hit as I type out this review. Really heavy in the head and limbs, with a very relaxing vibe. Perfect high for watching shows without passing out halfway through. Burns pretty clean too producing a light colored ash in a bong. New strain to add to my list as it was quite memorable.

**Grease Monkey**

Had this one a really long time ago from Budmail back in my early MoM days. It’s since then slipped under my radar but it’s a fantastic strain and I’m going to try to seek it out more often. Very visually appealing light green buds that are round in stature with a decent amount of dark orange hairs. The aroma borrows it’s sweet and earthy pine notes from the GG#4 lineage with a vanilla and baked goods smell from the cookies and cream. Full flavoured and creamy thick smoke, very similar to how it smells, with the gorilla glue remaining dominant, and a very subtle skunky taste that lingers on the pallet. Some of the most enjoyable and unique tasting weed I’ve had in a while. The high feels like a very carefully balanced hybrid to me that perhaps slightly tip toes on the indica side with it’s couch locking and lazy body buzzing effects. Not much of a crash though as it doesn’t tire you out mentally and usually easy to bounce back from. Really been enjoying this one after work especially.

**Cannalope Haze**

Got this strain once before but this was sent as a sample in the order. Bright greens with lively orange hairs and a blanket of trichomes. More of a looser structure but not airy, and pretty sticky. The only take away would be the trim, as there are few leaves here and there. The terps are sweet and tropical with hints of fresh citrus. Very smooth and fruity on the exhale, with some underlying peppery notes that faintly come out seconds after the exhale. Clean burning and not harsh at all, making for an enjoyable smoke. Everything is quite similar to the last batch including the high. Very sativa leaning with heady and energetic effects that slowly merge into a relaxing body buzz closer to the end of the high. A great mood picker up as well. Defiently one of my preferred Haze’s.

**Organic Durban Poison**

Been some time since I last had Durban Poison, although I never forgot it’s effects from past experiences. This Organic bud certainly does it justice and instantly brings back nostalgic memories as it was one of my first strains purchased off a MOM. These caked nugs are a unique shade of green, almost comparable to a green olive, with weaving orange hairs and some dark green leaves. Seems kind of fluffy at first glance but instead its quite dense but not overly rock solid, and very sticky to the touch. There is a very natural and earthy smell and taste to this Durban Poison, with hints of sweetness and pine. The smoke is quite smooth and clean burning, leaving grayish ash in the pipe bowl. The high is something special, with a surging head buzz, accompanied by boosts of energy that makes it’s good choice for morning use especially. Also doesn’t leave you burnt out or tired afterwards.

Had this strain one other time in flower form and now trying it as an organic rosin. It’s a cross of Jack the Ripper and Killer Queen which makes for a sativa dominant high and effects. I would describe it as a very mood enhancing buzz and a good picker upper and one of those highs that encourage being social and talkative. The colour and consistency are comparable to a rich caramel with a very fruity and citrus like taste with hints of diesel on every exhale. Very smooth as well and did not make me cough once. It is one of their in house organic rosins and were shipped in silicone containers.

**Pineapple Purps**

There are only a handful of strains that have the THCV cannabinoid profile and this is one of them. (a compound known to block panic attacks, reduce Parkinson’s tremors, and suppress the appetite)

A cross between a great hybrid, pineapple express, and the legendary Mendocino Purps and it has a 3:1 THC:THCV ratio. The terps are as great as the lineage would suggest with a sweet and tropical taste. Definitely detecting some pineapple in there with a subtle earthy flavour on exhale. Very potent cerebral effects as the description mentions, with an instant head rush after the first dab. No body buzz or relaxing couch lock effects here as it’s a very ’get up and go’ classic sativa high. A very memorable and enjoyable strain to say the least!

Can’t ever go wrong with some good ol’ GGC. I’ve heard people not particularly liking Green Crack but when crossed with God Bud it makes for a fantastic and even keeled hybrid and in my opinion the perfect balance of effects. The bud itself sports a very good bag appeal in customary God’s Green Crack fashion of being absolutely frosted and blanketed by trichs with a heaping helping or vibrant orange hairs. Sticky to the touch as well. The nose is quite strong and pungent especially when broken up, and what I always describe as smelling like a sweet incense with herbal and earthy undertones. Up to this day I will always say that something about the aroma reminds me of ketchup and I’m thinking it’s the cloves. The flavour of the smoke is similar with the hashy incense notes staying strong and produces thick clouds that can be overwhelming if you aren’t ready for a thick and expansive smoke. The high is where this strain shines as it offers such a relaxing high but doesn’t drain you of your energy and instead adds to it. Even mind and body effects as well making it a true uplifting hybrid and ideal for anytime of the day really.

**Pink Kush**

Definitely in my top 3 strains, maybe even my favourite. I just cant seem to get bored of it and I’m always reminded of that when I come across some. This Pink Kush from EGM is a great representation, shining in all the categories that make it such a loved and enjoyed by all strain. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say they don’t like pk. Round, light green buds with plenty of orange hairs and trichs. Not as greasy looking as some other pink kushes I’ve had but it still remains sticky to the touch when broken up. The aroma is pungent, gassy, and floral, with deep dank notes of kush that get richer the longer you inhale. Translates nicely over to the taste, with an overwhelming yet smooth smoke that is potent and hard hitting. The high hits soon after the first exhale, with a strong rush to the head. Effects are real cerebrally focused with a bit of a couch lock. Just some overall tasty and potent stuff as im pretty high after only one medium sized bong hit. Burns fairly clean too with a light gray ash that was left in the bowl.

**Love Potion No.1**

This was one of the first strains I ever had from a MoM as part of a Valentine’s day special a couple years ago. I haven’t tried it since then but I immediately got hit with a nostalgic feeling when I first smelled it. The round buds are a mix of lighter and darker greens round and also nicely trimmed with light orange hairs throughout. Leaves the fingers a little sticky when breaking up by hand. Two classic strains are involved: G13 and Colombian Gold and that makes for a complex profile. Hard to nail at first but there are some dominant notes of lemon and citrus with a pungent skunky musk. Almost like Lemon Thai or strains of a similar ilk. The taste is very similar and offers a smooth and enjoyable smoke that is easy on the lungs. After half a joint, it’s obvious that the effects are very sativa leaning. Starting with a energetic and stimulating head high that encourages activity and is also very functional. Not known to be a high thc strain and it doesn’t leave you burnt out and tired which is perfect for mornings and afternoon where things still need to get done.

**Antidote**

Never really heard of this strain, as it’s my first time trying it. A possible descendant of Harlequin with unique parents in Colombian Gold, Thai & Swiss Landraces. The CBD:THC ratio is 5:2, making for a very uplifting and focused high without the racey and phsycoactive effects. Theres also a sense of relaxation in the mind and body. Just a feel good type of high thats suitable for any time and activity. The bag appeal is on point and certainly looks like a CBD dominant strain. Green and purple hued buds with a plethora of whispy sharp orange hairs, all ranging in different lengths, all intertwining with each other. A decent amount of crystal, with clear visible trichome heads. Buds are more fluffy than dense, but still sticky to break apart. Finally, the terp profile. Strong smells of tangy citrus with subtle hints of musk & mango. At times its very reminiscent to some Jet Fuel I’ve had. Very smooth and sweet on the exhale, with a mango, citrusy aftertaste. Clean burning, leaving white ash in a bong bowl. Just a real pleasant smoke that I could enjoy anytime especially to take the edge off without being too baked.

**Purple Rockstar**

Rockstar has been a staple of the weed community, and probably one of the most common strains to find off the street. This here is Purple Rockstar. Very similar to the original, only heavier in nature with more indica dominant effects that come from its parent Purple Kush. Buds are olive green with tiny orange pistils, covered in a nice amount of trichs. Pretty sticky and dense too with a surprisingly really nice trim for a AA. As for the terps, the nose has a somewhat grape and musky tinge to it with a slight earthy gassyness. Tastes very nice and similar to the smell, only subtler. Pretty smooth smoke considering its thickness. Was really late at night when i first tried it in a blunt, therefor my first thought was that it felt like a traditional indica high with that relaxing body buzzing feel. Theres also some heady effects, but not too overwhelming. All in all some pretty potent stuff that burns a lighter ash in a blunt. Definetly one of the better AA’s ive come across.

**Everest Extracts Gelato Shatter**

Second time trying this brand of shatter after loving the white rhino. This gelato was great and had a very shatter-glass like concistency and a golden honey colour that is transparent. Came in a little plastic container that looks like something a micro sd card would come in. Different than the typical parchment paper but it proved to be an effective way of keeping the shatter safe and intact. Just be careful when opening it up to avoid any loose pieces falling out. The taste is exactly what I get from the flower version of gelato, but with more defined and pronounced terpenes. Like sweet candied lemons with a hint of what I always compare to, the Italian liqueur Amaretto. A true dessert type smoke with a very relaxing and calming mind and body high. Melted into my chair after a couple small dabs and while it was a bit of a couch locker, it didn’t knock me out. Making it an ideal late afternoon or evening choice.

**Violator Budder**

This is some really terpy and tasty budder. One of my favourite strains as well and I’ve previously had it in live resin form. Right after exhaling,the first taste I get is that of a sweet and earthy hash, with a creamy, kushy flavour specific to violator. Straight from the Malana lineage. The little 1 gram container came filled to the top with large chunks of budder that have a slight sugary texture and a golden brown appearance. The high was very much a heavy indica stone and couch locker type. Only a couple small dabs and I was melting into a very relaxed and calm state of mind. Didn’t make me tired right away but it made me very lazy and non functional which I love in an indica.

**True North Weed Co. Girl Scout Cookies 1mL Distillate Cart and Pen**

1ml sized cart of Girl scout cookies that has a very clean and transparent looking, light gold coloured distillate. It has a pretty complex flavour profile that took a while to fully figure out. The best comparison I can make is to a gingerbread cookie and it’s very unique and tasty. It’s also quite smooth and produces some decent clouds with minimal inhaling. The pen of the same name, True North, has an option to switch between 4 different temperatures which I’m assuming can be helpful with different and varying oil thicknesses and consistencies. The high is very much a typical distillate head high but very potent and only takes a few puffs to feel the effects. It’s been great over these past couple of days when I didn’t have a chance to smoke a joint or was in a hurry. Decent battery life too as I haven’t needed to charge yet.

The consistency and colour of this live resin is beautiful. When it arrived it was a bit thinner and runny as we can expect this time of year. Now after being indoors for a while it hardened up just a bit. It now has a honey like consitency with a deep golden amber colour. The taste is exactly what I would expect from violator but even more pronounced. Peppery, sweet, and piney with a classic kushy taste to compliment it all. Very smooth to dab and just a couple tiny hits were enough to feel it’s very sedating and couch locking effects.

**Pink Kush Honeycomb Budder**

A nice golden coloured budder of one of my favourite strains, pink kush. A softer texture that’s easy to scoop onto your shovel/dab tool. The gassy and dank kush flavours came through immediately and tasted really good at medium temp. Relaxing body effects with a heady high as well, without being a couch locker, making it perfect for anytime of the day for me.

This one is a little darker in colour in comparison to the higher graded pink kush honeycomb budder but it was still very tasty. Like sweet and gassy lemons with hints of skunk. Filled the room with a quite a pungent smell. Pretty much full on sativa effects after the first dab. One of those highs that make me talk way more than I should lol.

**Lemon Cake Shatter**

A nice golden honey colour shatter that is more pull and snap than glassy but still easy enough to work with. The taste is mostly dominated by lemon terps with a hint of skunk just like the lemon cake budder. A couple small dabs later and the sativa driven high kicks in and while being potent still remains functional enough to be active. A good one for those who like to wake and bake.

This was thrown is a sample and although a little leafy it’s still a moderately tasty smoke with a decent potency. Can be a little harsh, probably due to the extra leaf, but that nice kush taste is there. The aroma has a subtle sweet vanilla to it followed by a peppery smell. You can definitely detect the white widow in it’s lineage. I read the description before smoking some and it mentioned it’s a highly sedative and potent indica and I have to agree lol. Half a joint and I was already feeling couch locked and spaced out which eventually led to snoozing off with the tv on.

Can’t say enough good things about this jillybean. Rarely have I ever seen this strain and that’s mostly the reason why I chose it. These sticky buds are dense and medium in size with some leaf and a good amount of trichs, especially on the inside. Such unique colors on this one, as the buds are a real dark shade of forest green, mixed with dozens of light amber hairs. The nose is slightly creamy, with hints of orange and flowers. Tastes much like the same in a bong and joint, only with an added skunky accent that seeps through on the second and third exhale. Subtle, but such a mouthwatering smoke that makes for a clean hit. The terps really come alive after a week in isolation with a boveda. I’m a real fan of the high. Super heady and uplifting with boosts of energy thats perfect for anything outdoorsy. Something really old school about this buzz. My brother said it gave him that ’grade 9 type of high’.

I’ve had MK Ultra plenty of times but never just solely G13. Great bag appeal right off the bat, with  medium sized buds that are light green in nature with darker tones. A little bit of popcorn in the oz as well. Vibrant orange hairs cover majority of the buds, along with some leaf and a nice coating of trichs. Fluffier than dense, but not airy, and just real sticky to the touch. The nose and taste are much like the same, taking on an earthy/woody profile, similar to Afghani. The smoke is very thick, albeit smooth, and packs a nice punch, especially on bigger hits. Also burns a light salt and pepper ash in a joint. The high is where this bud really excels, hitting almost instantly after exhale with a real heavyness behind the eyes. Mostly heady cerebral effects at first until the body buzz and sedation kicks in. Had to put the joint out halfway through cause it had me yawning in minutes. I gave some to a friend who suffers from insomnia, and it put him out like a light, even with his high tolerance. I honestly dont think i’ve had such a heavy and sedating indica before along with some Tuna kush.

A cross between the famous Jack Herer and the legendary Super Silver Haze. It’s been a while since I had a good haze that made me appreciate it and this did not dissapoint one iota. The buds in the ounce were mostly large in size with some medium sized ones and no popcorn or bottom of the bag shake. Great looking flower with a typical conal sativa structure. Clusters of pale orange hairs that cover the green and frosty nugs from top to bottom. Grinds up beautiful and fluffy and makes for easy rolling with the right amount of stickiness. The nose is very Jack dominant with those peppery and spicy notes of pine and wood. Also an added sweet and citrusy aroma that comes out upon grinding. The taste is quite similar but can be a little of a throat tickler for those that are sensitive to peppery strains. Still found it to be a pleasurable and clean smoke and especially flavourful in the dynavap. The high is exactly what you would expect from It’s iconic lineage; Very uplifting and clear headed high, that encourages creativity with It’s energetic nature. I’ve been starting off my mornings with it and It’s rather potent and long lasting. Most importantly, it’s functional and doesn’t leave me burnt out or sluggish at all.

Can never go wrong with GG#4 as it’s a true classic. This representation of the strain was easily the best I’ve had in a long time. First off, the buds were beautiful looking as they were completely blanketed in trichomes with minimal leaf. A mix of light and darker greens with purple hues running vertically up the bud. The purple is even more lively and noticeable when pulling the sticky nug apart. The aroma is so pungent and hard to pin point as it takes a long sniff to get a sense of all the smells. I would describe it as sweet and sour, with some sort of chocolate or mocha accents from the chocolate diesel lineage. Some complex notes that get even stronger when ground up. The taste is quite similar giving it a very creamy and flavorful smoke with hints of diesel and earth. It’s super smooth on the lungs as well. The high is exactly why I love this strain. It’s chill and relaxed effects are perfect for just hanging out and doing nothing. It’s got a potent couch lock and body tingling high and just makes you feel all around happy as well. Not really a sedating or sleep inducing strain so It’s easy to bounce back rather than feeling burnt out.

**Black Diamond**

Black Diamond is just one of those strains where I’ve had countless times ever since I got into the MoM scene. It’s just an overall great indica. From the physical appearance to the aroma/flavour profile and effects. This is certainly a really terpy cut of Black Diamond. A nicely trimmed larger sized bud, around 2g’s, with lovely shades of dark greens and purples that barely seep through it’s thick blanket of trichomes. It’s quite sticky as well. Real strong nose and taste too, with deep, musky grape tones, followed by some sweet earthyness. I can see the red wine connection many make to this strain. Such a smooth, mouthwatering smoke that lingers on the tongue for minutes. Burns very clean as well, with a light coloured ash. Some purple type strains are more show and no go but the high on this was rather strong and long lasting. Beginning with uplifting and social effects, feeling more sativa like, before turning into a relaxed and mellow high. Perfect for evenings out with and in a social setting and will be a surprise for a friend that’s never tried the strain.

**Rip City Purple**

This is a strain that I never had the pleasure of trying or even seeing around for that matter. A cross between Gobstopper and one of my favourites, Purple Urkle. The light green buds glisten with resinous trichome heads and have an abundance of orange hairs. Sticky to the touch with minimal leaf. The aromas that are first noticed when broken apart are of pure gas with a hint of floral sweetness akin to pink kush. When smoked you get an instant grape flavour on the exhale from the Purple Urkle. Also with those added dank and gassy notes with a hint of pine. Very tasty in both the bong or joint. Instantly goes to the head with the pressure behind the eyes effect. The sour diesel is definitely responsible for that, and eventually. For an indica, it’s not too sedating at first but rather relaxing and calming. As time went on the sleepiness hit out of nowhere like a creeper accompanied by constant yawning and heavy eyes. Did not expect that at all lol.

**Nuken**

Nuken has become a really popular strain lately and I do enjoy it myself. These buds are plump, sticky, and frosty with a forest green complexion and pale orange hairs hidden underneath. This Nuken was quite different than the typical ones I usually come across and it surprised me as soon I opened the bag. The sweet berry aroma was dominant over the pine and herbal notes, with the Kish lineage really coming through. It’s some lovely smelling weed with a taste that’s equally as palatable. Smooth and flavorful smoke with hints of berries, diesel, and pine on the exhale. The high Nuken offers has always felt like more of a balanced hybrid to me as all of the sleepy and couch locking effects of a typical indica aren’t apparent. Instead it’s a creeper of a head high with a relaxing but functional body buzzing stone. I can smoke this stuff anytime of the day as It doesn’t leave me feeling lazy or burnt out.
