I’ve had a couple CBD strains over the years but never Charlotte’s Web, which is said to be the best of all. The bag appeal is great for a cbd strain especially, with sticky, tight buds, that sport a neat trim with very little leaf. Long peach colored hairs really compliment the olive greens giving these nugs such a juicy look. Some trichome coverage but nothing substantial, given its a CBD strain.
The aroma this one produces is very sweet and flowery with hints of funky citrus. Translates well to taste with notes of flowers and earth followed by a sweet citrus finish. Also a bit of a vegetal aftertaste from the hemp plant it’s crossed with. Very unique and pleasant stuff. Burns real smooth and produces a smoke that is easy on the lungs, as well as a lighter colored ash.
The high is super mellow and relaxing, producing a very uplifting feel good type of buzz. I didn’t necessarily feel high, but I didn’t feel sober. Very enjoyable stuff though, especially for morning wake n bakes as it still leaves you extremely functional. I can definitely see this strain helping with anxiety as well.
**Sour Diesel**
https://i.imgur.com/Y5ieiKm.jpg
Always heard what a great strain Sour Diesel can be but unfortunately have never been super wowed or impressed by the ones I had in the past. This one finally allowed me to experience a great example of Sour Diesel. The buds were vibrantly green and sticky, and covered with trichomes. Minimal leaf as well with the odd few around the base of the buds.
Very pungent and sour aroma right upon opening the bag. Tangy and diesel notes accented by citrus and earthy/herbal undertones. A real nose stinger as I like to call it. Nearly identical profile when smoked and it’s very smooth on the lungs for such a full smoke. Burned clean and even with a light ash and remained tasty all the way through.
The high is a fine example of a strain that can give you an actual energetic and invigorating mind and body buzz that kind of feels like you drank a few espressos beforehand. Trademark, potent head high, that’s felt behind the eyes and temples almost immediately. Feels like a waste to just sit around after smoking as the uplifting effects are perfect for outdoors and social activities.

A strain I’m sure most of us that started smoking in the early 2000’s have had a lot of experience with as it was a steady and consistent offering back in the day. Especially in the Toronto area. I would definitely agree with all the reviews going around on this cincopax rockstar and it is indeed one of the best rendition of rockstar I’ve had. Dense frosty nugs, smaller in size, with a decent trim and covered in trichomes. Really greasy and sticky within.
When I think of dank and stinky weed, this is it. Just a nose stinging and pungent, gassy kush aroma, with undertones of pine and earth. Absolutely takes me back to stinking up a whole bus with a gram in my pocket. Translates to taste seamlessly, burning a light coloured ash and remained smooth till the end despite the thick and potent smoke. Really stunk up the house long after consuming.
Heavy hitting indica to say the least. Would save this for evenings or before bed or when theres nothing that needs to be done. Relaxing and couch locking with a very euphoric feeling high as well. Tried a few Cincopax strains now and they definitely know what they are doing with their indicas.
**Final Notes**
A great way to try what a new MoM has to offer are these welcome packs, which I’m a huge fan of. Got to try a few different strains to get an idea of the quality and also the goodies are pretty neat. I really enjoyed the flower I tried, and the friendly customer service was impeccable and respond to anything very promptly. All in all, a very enjoyable and pleasant experience with Pacific Grass!

Beautiful nugs that are absolutely blanketed in trichomes. More purple than green, with sharp orange hairs, giving it a really great bag appeal. They crack right open with a nice snap but still sticky within, implying a great cure. Also a very careful trim.
Crazy lineage on this stuff. Death bubba × Pink Kush × GsC. Right off the bat, I almost get a smell similar to a pungent gods green crack. A mix of sweet and herbal notes with a musky sour finish. Also that deep earthy smell from the death bubba. It’s when it’s smoked that the gsc comes out with a subtle gassyness from the bubba and pk. Bit of a salt and pepper ash but not harsh at all and doesn’t effect taste.
It’s definitely some potent stuff. Feel it in the head instantly with a soothing and relaxing buzz as well. Feels like your typical indica dominant hybrid and actually lasted a decent amount of time. Not sedating but definitely slowed me down.
**Early Girl**
https://i.imgur.com/93wd4ko.jpg
Seeing the name of this strain one would assume it may be a wake and bake type but after reading it’s description it seems quite the opposite. It’s a cross of several landraces so the lineage is quite vague but there is some Afghani and North Indian involved. The buds came smaller to medium in size with a tight and dense structure and average mositure level not being dry or sticky. A mix of light and dark greens with a good trim to go along.
The nose is subtle at first, only picking up on hints sweet musk. When a nug is cracked open several other aromas are introduced like peppery citrus and sour earth. Not my favourite profile at first but it grew on me a bit. The taste is similar with the citrus and pepper flavours being dominant. Smooth in a joint with a light grey ash.
Very unique high for an indica and the way the effects slowly come on. At first It’s more of a stimulating high with typical heady effects and you don’t feel like you smoked much. After a while the body stone starts to take effect in creeping fashion with tingly limbs and all. Not super potent or sedating as it’s generally a lower thc strain but relaxing nonetheless
**Jack Cough**
https://i.imgur.com/aYhnCgy.jpg
Quite easy to guess the lineage with this one. 2 classics, Jack Herer and Strawberry Cough grown by one of Carly’s Gardens farms. This flower looks really well grown like all of the strains I tried. Tight structured, coned shaped buds, littered in crystals and pale orange hairs. Immaculate trim with no visible leaf whatsoever. Moderate moisture level within the buds with a slight stickiness.
The Jack definitely dominates the nose with this stuff with only notes of diesel showing any signs of the strawberry cough. Very pungent sweet and citrus aromas reminiscent of many classical sativas. The smoke is sweet/fruity and peppery with hints of citrus. Quite smooth on the exhale with a very light coloured ash.
This one had a noticeable uplifting, sativa driven buzz. Very go go go and functional type of high, great for mornings and getting things done. I spent the whole day doing yard work and this strain was perfect for it with no burn out or tired feelings either.

Carly’s Garden is a new MoM that has some pretty cool and unique strains that her and fellow growers supply. Some seem to be micro grows and the descriptions on them are personalized to the strains themselves and not from leafly. They go into details about the lineage and who grew the particular strain and batch. Very nice touch and valuable info to the customer.

**Slurricane**
https://i.imgur.com/N7xdTqS.jpg
I had slurricane one other time so not much to compare to, but after looking at my older pictures this one seems to be a different pheno. A tight and dense structure on these very resinous and frosty buds. Some purple hues throughout and virtually no leaf and quite sticky to the touch. Great overall bag appeal.
The smell and taste were also different as this one had more of a sweet and gassy profile without many of the purple punch traits. The taste is very similar with added undertones of earth. Not harsh but definitely a heavy and thick smoke that can choke one up with a big toke. Burns with a grease ring and light coloured ash in a joint.
The high pretty much plays out as a hybrid at first but then intensifies with obvious indica leaning effects. Both relaxing and sedating. Heavy eyes and all, with a slow, lazy thought process. Not really a daytime smoke imo but perfect for later on in the evening as it’s quite potent.
**Blue Dream**
https://i.imgur.com/H80gD3u.jpg
Been a while since I had some Blue Dream and it’s always been a strain I enjoyed, despite how popular it is or the numerous times I’ve had it. This nug was just over 3 grams in weight and has quite a dense, tight structure, with a decent coating of trichs and precise trim. Not super sticky but not dry either.
The nose is classic blue dream, with notes of sweet berry and a spicy/herbal finish. It definitely comes out more upon grinding it and the berry notes become more noticeably pronounced. When smoked, there is still a subtle berry taste met with flavours of pine and spice. Smokes smooth for a haze related strain that can sometimes be little harsh on the throat, with a salt and pepper ash.
The high is exactly what you would except from Blue Dream and the description is accurate. Very euphoric and hazy, with a relaxing and calming high. Definitely a mood elevating strain, with it’s uplifting demeanour, and a moderate potency that’s good for anytime of the day.
**Violator Kush**
https://i.imgur.com/6ZfKNt2.jpg
One of the strains I’m probably most familiar with by far, as it’s one my top indicas. Very vibrant looking green buds, with plenty of bright orange hairs and decent trichome coverage as well. A minimal amount of leaf that is equally as dusted. Moderately sticky when breaking it apart.
This violator profile is more on the earthy and peppery side rather than creamy, giving it a sharp and spicy nose. That’s only before breaking it apart, as cracking open a nug brings out more traditional violator aromas from it’s Hindu lineage that translates directly to taste.
Classic couch locking effects that get stronger with time and especially if you are already tired. Relaxing and calming as well as uplifting, setting it apart from indicas that lead to feeling sleepy right away. This high is more like a slow burn that eventually tucks you right in.

Canna Coastal is a new MoM that is based on out of BC. They approached me on reddit and wanted to send some samples in turn for a few honest reviews. Didn’t have to use the site so I can’t speak on the ordering experience but the flower seems to definitely be on the quality side from the 3 strains I tried. Prices seem to range from medium to high with some decent variety, with concentrates and edibles as well.

Three day shipping to Toronto from Vancouver and arrived safely in a small cardboard box, keeping everything within safe. No odour as well, with the contents being efficiently vacuum sealed.
**Four Star Gen...eral**
https://i.imgur.com/UM63sJU.jpg
This Four Star General is a strain I’ve vaguely heard of but never had a chance to try it. It’s a cross of four different dawg strains, including Chemdawg, Stardawg, and Tresdawg, which make for a very crazy mix. I was blown away by how alien these buds look with the dark purples and greens. The orange hairs really pop in contrast as do the blanket of trichomes. The buds are properly cured and sticky as well, with a decent trim to boot.
The aromas ooze off this bud and even more when ground up. A combination of sweet and sour earth with herbal and floral undertones. An overall really pungent and dank profile. Translates nicely to taste when smoked and the diesel really overpowers. Reminded me of a good sour diesel or chemdawg instantly with hints of sweet herbs and earth on the exhale.
At first, the high acts like a hybrid with a heady type stone that’s felt behind the eyes. Like a true creeper strain it slowly starts to take effect, starting from the legs up. Relaxing and tingly body buzz that takes over with a lazy couch locking high. Definitely a potent indica that is both very euphoric and sedating.
**Orange Cookies**
https://i.imgur.com/H2yEum1.jpg
This is one of the only few cookie strains that I’ve yet to try and based on the bag appeal, it doesn’t look like it can disappoint. Green, chunky buds that are absolutely littered in frosty trichs and thin orange hairs. Trim is real neat with minimal leaf, giving a more tighter appearance. Probably the most stickiest one I’ve tried yet in this order.
The aromas and flavours are subtle but pleasant. Citrus/orange overtones with spicy/peppery undertones. Not an overpowering sour and zesty type citrus but more of a sweet tangerine one. It’s not as pronounced in taste when smoking it vs vaping, but it burns smooth and clean, producing a very light ash.
The buzz is definitely on the sativa leaning hybrid side, bringing on bouts of energy minus the paranoia/anxiety. Some relaxing body effects too without any immobilizing or tiresome feelings. Smoked some before work and it made me quite productive.
**Cali Mist**
https://i.imgur.com/o3VRwtp.jpg
These buds just scream sativa from the very typical structure they are sporting. Considered a lower thc strain and believed to be a cross of Y Griega and Arjens Strawberry Haze. Tons of winding orange hairs on these round, fluffy nugs, and a good amount of trichomes too. Also a neat trim with virtually no leaf. Slightly sticky as well and breaks up nice and fluffy in the grinder.
Has a really unique combination of aromas that takes a while to fully process. Has that peppery and sweet sativa smell at first that many strains carry, but then also some really sharp notes of citrus and pine. The taste is very similar and definitely a pallet tickler with it’s peppery and herbal nature. Salt and pepper ash on this one.
I can tell it’s not a high thc strain but that’s not a bad thing at all as some of my most memorable highs are from lower potency strains such as California orange. Very clear headed and focused head high that almost feels like a distillate buzz. Can smoke this stuff with no worries of getting tired or burned out and it’s also quite uplifting. Can wear off a little quicker but it’s great for a wake and bake and still being functional.
**Cheesequake**
https://i.imgur.com/mEaGaRf.jpg
I’ve had a lot of cheese strains over time but never Cheesequake which is a cross of Cheese x Querkle. This one came sticky and neatly trimmed, sporting healthy shades of greens with fiery orange hairs. Super frosty with tons of visible and undisturbed trichomes, especially on the inside.
At first, the aroma is a little cheesy with some sweet undertones. Once ground up, the cheese fades, paving way for the fruity/grapey notes coming from it’s parent strain Querkle. Reminds me of a grape popsicle. The taste is a little tamer but still flavourful and very smooth on the lungs. Burns a light grey ash in a joint and pipe.
The high doesn’t need much time to take effect. Heady and euphoric followed by a very calming/relaxing vibe. Like most cheese variants, this one also checks the social box as it can make one quite talkative. Not at all sedating but can produce a slight burnout due to the potency. Instant fan of this cross.
**Alien OG**
https://i.imgur.com/h7BTVBd.jpg
I know I said this last time but this may be the best alien og I’ve had lately. From bag appeal to terps to potency, everything is super consistent. Buds are dense and tightly trimmed, sporting pretty shades of purples and greens complimented by tiny orange pistils. Pretty sticky too with a decent frosting of trichs.
The terp profile is a mix of earthy lemon with subtle notes of nutty pine. Translates rather nicely over to the taste with a sweet, yet sour tinge accompanied by lemon/piney accents. Real flavorful, as well as smooth and clean burning, producing a light coloured ash.
Surging rush to the head with a cerebral high, accompanied by a very calming and relaxing body buzz that’s suitable for any time of the day. Pretty potent and long lasting as well with a bit of a burn out in higher amounts. As a lover of OGs, this one fits the bill.
**Violator Kush**
https://i.imgur.com/PIpVhcr.jpg
Got this violator not too long ago from Mainland and this batch is quite the same more or less. And I mean that in a very good way. Frosty, light green buds that appear as very greasy and resinous. Fantastic trim as well, with tiny orange hairs and minimal leaf. Great moisture levels too as the buds are sticky all throughout.
Very iconic and memorable violator profile. Sweet and earthy with spicy and creamy notes from the Malana. Such a unique and distinctive smell that I can never get enough of. The taste is exactly the same and translates perfectly with it’s spicy and creamy profile. Smooth on the lungs, burning a very light grey ash.
I can smoke this stuff all day no matter the occasion. Very mellow and relaxed with a real stoney vibe that results in a body buzz. Not much sedation or burn out compared to other indicas, making it a popular strain for some. Been really loving mainland’s violator lately, not only for its potency and terps, but for the consistency.
**Bluefin Tuna**
https://i.imgur.com/UARoDTO.jpg
Really love this strain and second time trying Mainland’s which is on point. Seems like a slightly different batch this time in appearance, as the buds are darker in colour, with more purples and orange hairs. Real sticky and heavily caked in trichs, and a careful and precise trim.
The smell and taste are just as dank as it looks. Gassy and pungently kushy with deep notes of tuna that linger, especially on exhale. A little less of a sweet berry like the last batch and more on the gas side. Really stinks up a room in seconds. Very enjoyable and smooth despite the thick smoke it produces. It also burns a very light ash.
This stuff is insanely heavy and potent, as well as long lasting, producing a strong head high and lazy body buzz. Gives a real stoney vibe and can be quite sedating as it hit me pretty hard after half a joint. Doesn’t take much and I usually end up smoking the second half later lol. Effective indica for sleep too!

**Final Notes**
Another impressive round of strains consisting of some different ones as well this time. Once again, all the flower was very fresh and healthy looking, with great cures and flushes. Nothing burned dark or overly harsh and each strain was accurate to it’s description. The folks at Mainland are also very kind and friendly, making for an overall great MoM experience.

These samples were offered for honest reviews.

**Diesel Strawberry Cough**
https://i.imgur.com/gI0AHSb.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/f9wDzw3.jpg
This strain caught my eye instantly and I was so happy I ended up going with it. I would already consider it a good deal at original price but at discount it was even a better one.
The buds were mostly all on the larger side in my ounce, with some 3 to 4 gram ones as well. No shake or popcorn either. Very dense structure with some beautiful colours and sharp orange hairs. Subtle purple hues throughout and a decent dusting of trichomes. Great trim too with minimal leaf on some of the larger nugs.
Really pungent and strong smelling right out of the bag. Instantly got that sharp diesel nose mixed with the sweetness of the strawberry that reminded me of so many strains. Nuken and raspberry cough to mention a couple. The taste was similar, with the strawberry coming through the sharp earth and diesel undertones. Smooth and flavourful, burning a light coloured ash.
Very happy for how this flower smokes and it’s sativa leaning hybrid effects. A great daytime or afternoon smoke that had me feeling uplifted and energetic with a creative and thought inducing head high. I love diesel strains for that reason especially and this one nailed it.
**Mike Tyson by Cinco Pax 1g sample**
https://i.imgur.com/yztHBUY.jpg
Got this as a sample in my order and it’s really some sedating, knockout stuff as the name would imply. The buds look gorgeous. Green and purple hues and a frosty, resinous appearance. Sticky to break apart as well and really nice for joints as it rolls itself. Out of my usual price range and quite costly but definitely a quad.
Gassy and pungent kush notes, with a certain sweet, floral finish. I know it’s kept a secret what the exact genetics are but there is no denying there is some dank kush involved. Best way I can describe the smell and taste is tuna kush meets pink kush. The smell translates to taste well and is a very heavy and thick smoke that can definitely induce some coughing. Burns slow and clean with a light coloured ash.
The high is where this strain definitely shines and worthy of a name like Tyson. I know some indicas are more mellow and relaxing and take a while to make you sleepy but this one wasted no time. Heavy and sedating, full bodied high after smoking about a 0.7 of a gram. Really sunk into the couch and just effortlessly drifted off to sleep 20 minutes into the high and it wasn’t even that late.
**The Lizard by BubbaKings 1g sample**
https://i.imgur.com/In3wlcm.jpg
Another sample in the order that really took me by surprise. Not sure on the lineage but it reminds me of something with death bubba or bubba kush in it. The buds were really dense and sticky to the touch. Also trimmed very neatly. Light green in colour with some subtle hints of purple.
Very familiar profile. Dank and earthy with subtle herbal/spicy undertones. More noticeable in smell than taste and is easily overpowered by the heavy gassy flavours. Really smooth smoke for something so pungent. I was taking some rips expecting to cough and never did once. Also a good cure on this flower with a flush that’s equal, with a very light coloured ash.
The potency on this strain was definitely up there and took me off guard. Instant high that hits fast and heavy and definitely on the indica side. Tingly body buzz effects with a classic couch lock and stoney head high. Really noticeable munchie syndrome with this one as well.

**Strawberry Diesel...**
https://i.imgur.com/LMtRERy.jpg
An evenly balanced hybrid containing two of my favorite strains. These plump and well manicured buds came on the bigger side, packing on some real weight to them. Very appealing with such healthy looking greens that are accompanied by tons of orange hairs. Fairly sticky as well with nice trichome coverage all throughout.
Really pungent smell as soon as a bud is cracked open. The aromas and flavours are heavily dominated by the NYC diesel with some earthy notes as well. More of a sour strawberry finish than sweet. It’s a real pleasure to smoke, being fairly easy on the lungs and burning a very light coloured ash in a joint.
The high is fairly potent, not to mention quite long lasting. Uplifting and euphoric sensations paired with relaxing effects. Suitable for any time of the day as it’s full functioning without any real burnout. It really does make for a perfectly balanced hybrid.
**Thin Mint GSC**
https://i.imgur.com/O6JpCE4.jpg
There’s always room for cookies strains in my stash, no matter how many I already have. This one came with tremendous bag appeal, being absolutely sticky and frosty. Medium to smaller sized buds as as in common with some cookie strains. Healthy colors backed by a such a fantastic trim that you rarely get to see from wholesale/bulk.
The nose is real sharp and pronounced, lingering on the fingers even after the slightest of touches. Strong notes of sweet and zesty citrus that get only stronger especially when broken apart. Not as intense on exhale but still there nonetheless with an almost licorice/minty finish. Real enjoyable, producing a smooth and creamy smoke that burns an almost white ash.
The high is full bodied, not to mention fairly potent. Heady and uplifiting complemented by a gentle body buzz. Real good for social environments and smoking with friends. Would say it smokes like an evenly balanced hybrid with some of the best traits from both worlds.
**AK-47**
https://i.imgur.com/R8aRGfP.jpg
Ak-47 seems to be a very hard to come by strain, especially a good version of it. Also one that I haven’t had in ages. This one from CWS has more of a craft-like appearance than your typical bulk style weed. The buds are real sticky and fluffy, sporting a lovely mix of colors in greens and purples complimented by peach toned hairs. Good amount of trich coverage as well giving it quite the frosty appearance. Could’ve used a slightly better trim as there are some stray leaves here and there but nothing major.
The terps are very unique and tough to put a finger on. Peppery, herbal and earthy with some slight floralness. Reminds me a bit of parent strain Afghani. The taste is very nostalgic and brought me back to the good ol’ days. Much like the nose, its very herbal and earthy on exhale with peppery notes. Real smooth and clean burning, producing a white ash.
This one got me high school baked, hitting right away specifically in the head and behind the eyes. A real sativa leaning high with heady and uplifiting effects. Not so much racey and anxiety inducing, but more mellow and relaxing. Very potent as well, with a less than a gram being enough to get the job done for a seasoned smoker.
**Gangster OG**
https://i.imgur.com/Cufsa9Y.jpg
I always go for anything OG when I see it and this was a new one for me. A cross between 5K OG and Aloha White Widow. Resinous, sticky dark green buds, with purple hues throughout. Very frosty with several orange hairs as well. The nugs were on the smaller side and came all clumped together.
Definitely easy to distinguish the OG characteristics with this strain right off the bat. Aromas of pungent and dank earth, with lemon/citrus and gassy undertones. Translated to taste quite seamlessly with a very smooth smoke and clean burning ash. Really enjoyed it in both a bong and joint and it stunk up the house quite a bit.
Potent and hard hitting high that takes effect almost instantly after a few puffs. A type of strain I can smoke throughout the day like most OG’s as it’s such a calm and relaxing high that just puts me in a mellow mood. Can have some burn out effects in larger amounts but overall rather functional.
**Master Skunk**
https://i.imgur.com/N2W9wxo.jpg
I wasn’t as excited about this strain as some of the others in my order but that certainly changed by the end of the first session with it. Starting with the decent bag appeal. Plump, sticky buds that sport a look and trim very typical of a kush. Lovely shades of light and dark greens that are accented by winding orange hairs and greasy trichomes.
The aroma on this master skunk is very earthy with kushy notes. The skunk doesnt really come out until ground up in the form of a sour musk. Translates nicely over to the taste with a kushy flavour followed by earthy and skunky undertones. Kind of reminds me of some chemdawg that I’ve had in the past. The smoke isn’t harsh but can be slightly cough inducing because it is very thick and expansive. Pretty clean burning however, producing a lighter ash.
This one offers a potent and long lasting high, feeling much like an indica dom. hybrid. Very calm and relaxing with some noticeable heady/cerebral effects as well. Good for chilling around the house when no work has to be done as it made me quite lazy and sluggish.
**Island Maui Haze**
https://i.imgur.com/gsfvakq.jpg
Recieved this Island maui Haze as a sample in my order. Pretty ironic considering I almost pulled the trigger on it. Bag appeal is decent with lovely, small to medium sized nugs that are caked in trichs and orange hairs. Not a bad trim with minimal leaf. Decent moisture level as well as the buds have some stickiness to them.
The terps are real typical of any haze strain I’ve had. Peppery/hazy with earthy and lemon citrus undertones. Taste is almost identical with that peppery tang coming through on the exhale. Might not be the most potent but it burns super clean, producing a white ash in bong and joint.
The high is more sativa leaning with no burnout whatsoever. Pretty heady, producing some uplifting yet hazy effects. Also a bit of a social side to it making for some bouts of chit chatting. Was told to shut up multiple times as certain strains make me ramble lol. -

**Pre 98’ Bubba Kush**
https://i.imgur.com/vkgxn0M.jpg
Haven’t had pre 98 in a while so when I seen that this was in stock I didn’t hesistate to add it to cart. The buds came sticky and dense, all being on the larger side of 2 grams or more. Not the prettiest looking pre 98 with a little extra leaf but it makes up for it in being over the weight.
Classic kush with that gassy goodness that stinks up a room in no time. A little earthy and musky as well, making for a dank and pungent aroma. All translates to taste nicely and for such a thick and overwhelming smoke, it’s pretty smooth on the lungs. Also burns rather clean as it produces a lighter ash in both bong and joint.
The high is fairly potent and quick hitting, settling in behind the eyes right after the initial exhale. Somewhat heady with a strong and blissful body buzz. Relaxing and calming but not overly sedative. This is the perfect smoke for capping off a long day.
**Fruit Loops**
https://i.imgur.com/rjpZGzS.jpg
I was sold on the name of this strain for obvious reasons as it sounds delicious and I’ve never had it before as well. This one in the picture was a large 2 gram nug that had a somewhat dense and heavy, tight structure. Sporting a mix of lovely colors, with deep purples and greens complimented by the orange hairs. Very sticky too, thanks to the substantial amount of trich heads. A little leafy but they are stuck to the bud and caked as well.
The smell of this fruit loops takes on more of a gassy kush profile, which I wasn’t really expecting. I’m not sure if it’s a placebo effect or not, but there is indeed a fruit loop type of aroma that emits from the bud the more you smell, especially when ground up. Gassy on the exhale with faint notes of berry but nothing too pronounced. Smooth and clean smoking, burning a salt and pepper ash in a joint.
The high is pretty heady and uplifting, as well as both physically and mentally relaxing. Not really sedative but it has potential to be due to the potency and definitely an indica with a tingly body buzz as well.
**Island Pink**
https://i.imgur.com/xX3efV8.jpg
Never had island pink before but I’ve always heard lots about it. Medium sized nugs that appear fluffy at first but were actually more on the dense side. Unique looking pink hairs that are hidden underneath. Not the greatest trim but the leaf remaining is just as frosty as the bud itself. Sticky and gooey, a proper grinder clogger. Leaves the fingers sticky to the touch.
One of those aromas that remain subtle and dormant until cracked apart. Gassy and sweet with some earthy/skunky notes that translate well to the taste. Reminds me a lot of your standard pink kush just not as floral/perfumey. Smooth on the lungs and throat while still maintaining it’s gassy kush goodness and burns a salt and pepper coloured ash.
The high is indica leaning, with heady and euphoric sensations that are soon followed by a very relaxing body buzz. Not your knockout type of indica making it perfect for all day use but can also leave you a little tired and burnt out. I would compare it to certain stains like nuken, pink kush, and Violator in it’s effects
**Mendo Breath**
https://i.imgur.com/Y50KOx6.jpg
A strain that I’ve had a few times and have always loved. OGKB (og kush breath) which is a gem on it’s own, crossed with Mendo Montage. Interesting look and bud structure going on with this particular one. Light green in colour with pale orange hairs and coated in trichomes. Average moisture level, being slightly sticky and the structure is more on the fluffier rather than dense side.
The nose is a little muted at first and almost has a too fresh smell. Probably could use some extra curing time in a jar. After grinding it up it totally comes alive though with those recognizable mendo breath aromas of sweet earthyness and hints of vanilla. The taste is similar with a sweet creamy smoke and earthy accents. Not the most pronounced mendo but very enjoyable and smooth with a light grey almost white ash.
The high was very relaxing and had me feeling quite locked to my chair. Tingling body buzz that you really felt in the feet and legs. Found it to be pretty potent and a good evening smoke but it definitely made me lazy with a substantial burn out.
**King Louis XIII**
https://i.imgur.com/bUXNV3V.jpg
Didn’t know too much about this strain up until a couple years ago and it’s definitely one of the stronger indicas I’ve had. These dense buds are beautiful, with a mix of vibrant colours that really stand out. Also absolutely caked in trichs, making for a sticky and resinous texture. Neat trim as well, with minimal leaf.
Smells exactly like what I would expect from something bred by og kush. Gassy and earthy with strong notes of pine. Very pungent aroma overall and the taste is equally as dank. Thick and flavourful smoke that sting the senses with it’s deep kushy and gassy taste. Burns slow and greasy with a light grey ash.
Strong, sedating and relaxing indica effects, that come on rather quick. Doesn’t take much either, as half a joint in I was already yawning and felt my eyes get heavy and low. This is the type of indica I would definitely use for night time, personally.
**Khalifa Kush**

Seen this strain many times and never pulled the trigger but this time I finally decided to try it and was very glad I did. Frosty dark green nugs, all medium sized, sporting a decent trim for a kush. Really sticky to the touch when breaking apart these tight, squishy buds. Definitely better off in a grinder.
The aroma of this kush instantly reminded me of og kush and many strains of a similar ilk. Lemon/citrus and pine with those unmistakable gassy and earthy kush notes. The flavours are identical and reminiscent of og kush in every way. What stood out was how smooth it was despite being such a full and thick smoke. Clean burning too with a very light ash. Really enjoyable flower and wish I’d have gotten more.
Found it to be a very well balanced hybrid in It’s effects. Had all the relaxing and calming traits of an indica but with a certain focus and alertness from the sativa, making it perfectly functional for any time of the day. I would recommend this to those that love gassy strains without the heavy sedation.
**Duke Nukem**
https://i.imgur.com/3rmgs4X.jpg
Got this duke nukem as a 1g sample and it came slightly squished. With that said, it still managed to hold some of it’s bag appeal, sporting healthy colors with a decent amount of trichs. There’s a bit more leaf on this one but that’s understandable considering it is rated AA+.
The nose is pretty strong for such a small and compact bud. Flowery and skunky with an almost citrus undertone. Less pronounced when smoked but still that skunkiness remains. Real smooth as well, and fairly clean, burning a salt and pepper ash.
The high is definitely sativa leaning, producing an uplifting and energetic buzz. A bit heady too as I did experience some bouts of spacyness. A great high for doing activities or being functional as it’s not the type of strain that promotes relaxation.

**Final Notes**
Still my go to for bulk as I tend to stick with places that are consistent and cws has been exactly that in my experiences. I also find that the descriptions of the strains on their site are always accurate when they mention the texture and bud sizes. I’ve come to make my decisions off them and the on site reviews and only had a couple strains I wasn’t crazy about and that’s only because they were a little too fresh. Will be back again per usual.

**Shipping/Packaging**
Based out of Ontario and they also offer local same day delivery if you qualify for it in the Toronto area. Really fast drop off and courteous about putting the package in a discreet place since I wasn’t home. All this ...was confirmed via text message. Very professional. Received in a black paper lunch bag with the flower packaged in a Flash themed red and yellow baggie.
**Gas Mask**

https://i.imgur.com/P5vOACb.jpg
Many indicas in their strain selection and I was offered this Gas Mask as one of their best and top selling strains. The buds were very dense and heavy with a tight structure. A mix of dark and light greens with decent trichome coverage and a fair share of pale orange hairs. Also sticky when broken apart.
At first the aroma is a little subtle and has a general gassy kush type of smell. As soon as a nug is cracked open and ground up the smell becomes more pungent with notes of gas and earth. The smoke is quite similar with a gassy, kushy flavour and produces a heavy smoke. Can be a little cough inducing. Burns a salt and pepper coloured ash.
Relaxing and sedating effects just like you would expect from a gassy type indica like this. I would say it comes on more like a creeper with a couch lock that intensified with time. Heavy eyes and very lazy type high perfect for evening use and before bed.
**Incentive**
This sample was offered for an honest and unbiased review.
**Final Notes**
Only a handful of local MoMs doing same day deliveries and it’s a great option to offer. These guys are new but so far they seem on the ball. Very friendly and courteous in communication about strains and delivery times etc. The name does it justice as well as the drop off was very quick from time of order.

**Gelato**
https://i.imgur.com/EUTB...qGg.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/6riSehx.jpg
One of the most unique versions of gelato I’ve come across without a doubt. It looks just like something that you rather eat than smoke. A perfectly trimmed and round nug with clusters of winding orange hairs that almost completely swallow the purple and green hues underneath. Also many visible trichomes, even on the hairs!
This gelato differed from most I’m used to in aroma as well, and that’s not a bad thing at all. It was more toned down in the earthy department and just very sweet and on the fruity/berry side. Several times I noted that it smelled very similar to the strain Watermelon. Translates well in a joint, with a thick but smooth smoke, and produced a clean light ash.
I think calling this strain a ’dessert’ strain couldn’t be more fitting. Makes for a great afternoon or evening smoke and is super tasty. Just a great mood lifting type of high that’s relaxing and euphoric. Good for social settings as well as chilling at home and one of my favourite hybrids.
**Bluefin Tuna**
https://i.imgur.com/hZjDPmt.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/D185CQm.jpg
Bluefin Tuna has become my favorite of all the tuna crosses. It checks of all the boxes for me, from bag appeal to terps, to effects. First off, this medium sized bud was of a tighter structure but not overly dense, and very frosty and sticky. A bit of leaf but nothing insane. Nice blend of colours, with light and dark shades of greens complimented by pinkish hued hairs.
The aroma on these buds carry a pungent, tuna kush gassyness accompanied by sweet blueberry undertones. Very stinky and dank stuff that will overpower a room in no time. Tastes exactly the same on exhale, with the blueberry notes blending so well with the kushy type gas. Despite the thick smoke, it’s very smooth. Also clean burning, with fairly light coloured ash.
The high didn’t take long to kick in at all, producing a buzz that isn’t like your average indica. With really stoney and spaced out effects that are mostly in the head at first. Eventually morphs into a very calming and relaxing high and can be sedating, especially to someone with a lower tolerance. In a perfect world I would have this strain in my stash at all times.
**Alien OG**
https://i.imgur.com/gp4Oeqe.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/MET1TWe.jpg
I’ve had this strain several times in the recent years and this is by far the best variation of Alien OG I have received. Not just in bag appeal but everything else as well. Tight and dense buds, covered in trichomes. Wicked mix of colours in the form of dark greens and vibrant purples, and several rusty orange hairs.
The first thing I noticed was the aroma wasn’t as heavily dominated by pine like I’m used to with this strain. It was still there but the lemon was definitely the more pronounced scent. It was really pleasant especially when broken up. Flavourful smoke as well in both a joint or bong, with lemon and pine undertones and an earthy taste on exhale. Smooth and crisp smoke and burns a lighter coloured ash.
I have a higher tolerance and actually found this stuff to be pretty potent and quick acting. Just a very relaxing high but not sedating and good for any time of the day like most OG’s. Smoked some yesterday afternoon and relaxed in the backyard all day with a bunch of bbq and friends. Didn’t have high expectations but really ended up loving this one.
**Lemon Haze**
https://i.imgur.com/FXP8Dju.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Z4abXbR.jpg
Can’t say I ever had just lemon haze, only super lemon haze. I have to say, I enjoyed this one even more. The buds were very frosty and sticky to break apart. Beautiful mix of colours, with forest greens and purple hues throughout, surrounding it’s orange hairs. Great trim as well on this perfectly manicured bud.
Such a pleasant and fresh aroma of zesty lemons and sweet citrus. No earthy or diesel accents like some lemon/citrus strains sometimes have to overwhelm it’s lemon-candy like fragrance. Translates well to taste and offers a smooth smoke with fairly white/light grey ash. Tasted very nice in a joint and when vaped.
Like most haze’s, the high is perfect for daytime use and has those classic uplifting sativa effects. Happy and peppy type of high, mostly in the head, with no burn out afterwards. Some strains of the haze variation can give a ’spacey’ type high but I didn’t get that at all with this one.
**Violator Kush**
https://i.imgur.com/FRcJWsv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/s6sHXEr.jpg
A classic strain and one I could never possibly get tired of. This violator kush has a very frosty and resinous appearance. Light green buds with winding orange hairs and just a bit of leaf but they are just as caked and glued to the bud itself displaying the overall stickiness. Not very dense but not loose and fluffy either.
An aroma that can only be linked to violator as I personally haven’t really smelled a similar strain to it. Always been a fan of it’s sweet and earthy profile that has a certain creamyness to it from the Malana lineage. Full flavoured as well in a joint or bong and always seems to be a smooth smoking strain. Burns a clean, light coloured ash.
Violator is one of those indicas I can smoke on all day. Puts me in a very mellow and relaxed mood without the heavy sedation. Nice couch locking body buzz that seems to intensify with time.

This cut of MAC from the Prince’s Private Reserve has one of the craziest bag appeals I’ve seen lately. Complex colours ranging from different hues of light and dark greens to purples. Blanketed in trichomes and vibrant orange hairs with a tight, dense bud structure. Sticky to the touch and a great trim as well. This one nug weighed 3.5 grams making up the whole 1/8th.
The first aromas that come to mind upon opening the jar lid are those of sour lemon and oranges with a certain rich sweetness. Reminds me of strains like Lemon Thai but more pronounced. Stings the nose with it’s sharpness, but too good not to go in for a second smell. When it comes to the smoke, it’s just as enjoyable. Smooth and flavourful with defined notes of sweet and sour citrus, followed by diesel accents. Burns clean with a white ash.
I would put this type of high in the same category as most dessert type strains. The smell and taste for obvious reasons but more so in it’s effects. Found it perfect for late afternoons and evenings as it offered a very relaxing and calming high but not sedative, still allowing for being active and functional. Potent as well, with a little going a long way.
**Lemon Buttercream**
https://i.imgur.com/vOi9qPJ.jpg
This Lemon Buttercream is another unique strain that I’ve yet to try until now and bred by Alien Genetics. Listed as a budget AAA option and coincidentally the prize for the current canadianmom contest. The buds were sticky and coated in trichomes with full visible heads. Some lovely colors too, with a vast amount of bright orange hairs that cover the forest green nugs. It actually gives the appearance of something that is going to be lemon and citrus tasting.
The aroma and flavour profiles are quite pronounced. Sour, yet sweet, with notes of lemon and diesel. Translates seamlessly on the exhale with a creamy smoke that burns a clean white ash. Notes of diesel and lemon and remained smooth throughout the session.
A rather potent and long lasting high. Both heady and physically relaxing, combining for a full bodied and evenly balanced buzz. Not really sure if theres a sedative side to it or it’s just the high potency, but after a few bowls I felt like I was melting into my chair. Good luck to whoever wins because this would be a lovely strain to have on hand.

Never heard of or had this strain before and it’s another one off budget option available. The 3.5 was mostly made up of one large nug in the picture, sporting a tight trim with tons of fiery orange hairs. The outside of the buds were slightly on the drier side but after some rehydration they quickly came back to optimal moisture.
The smell is subtle but very familiar. Spicy and peppery with some sour notes, and an overal herbal like profile. Almost reminds me of a certain tea. Fairly smooth with a subtle taste as well, with hints of pepper and herbs.
The high is a little on the lighter side, more suitable for daytime use, with a heady and uplifting buzz. For a budget option this one holds up nicely even though it doesn’t shine in one particular category. An overall decent smoke with sativa driven effects that keep one functional for daily activities.
